Tried almost all breakfast dishes.. they were hot and fresh.. their vadas were crispy.. one of the good veg restaurant in this area with decent pricing..

Good food at reasonable price. Liked veg friedrice and paneer chilli. Delivery is quick (less than 25min).

We ordered for a paneer masala dosa and chicken briyani..worst food ever ...we found only two pieces of paneer in a potato masala (how can this be paneer masala🥴) and the chicken briyani..how can I even explain it..😣a coriander rice which was undercooked maximum with no flavour at all..😣The one star which I have given is for the coriander chutney 🙂no value for the money spent😣

I am not sure why so much hatred by other reviewers here. This is the first time I ordered a pick up from the restaurant amid the COVID lockdown. I wasn't expecting much since I saw the reviews before I went over there to order. I have to say, I was thoroughly impressed by the quality of food. The Chilly Parotta was possibly the best I have had in recent years. We have tried that dish at other places, but this one took the crown. The Chana Masala and the Kadai Paneer were outstanding. The chana could have been a bit softer, but the Kadai Paneer... oh, it melted right in my mouth. The Pepper Chicken went very well with the parotta - the spiciness was up to the mark! Chicken 65 was the only thing that I was not impressed with at all. It was strictly ok. And the Set Dosa was outstanding as well. The accompanying chutneys were really delicious, though the quantity of the saambaar should have been a bit more - a set dosa has two thick dosas and so the amount of saambaar they packed with it was not enough at all. I would certainly recommend this place and I will definitely be coming back or ordering from them again!

This restaurant serves typical South Indian breakfast, lunch & dinner which are average or below average. Evening snacks are too oily and the tea i had was very sweet! Now coming to the ambiance, the place is not clean and the hygiene is not maintained. I'd not recommend this place at all.

well I was very hungry going against what the name suggest I ordered veg garlic rice and veg noodles which is a Chinese dish but there was nothing chinese about the taste who puts peas in noodles first time ever in my life I saw tht so my guess if anyone want to order chinese they better look elsewhere and yeah I forgot abt the garlic rice it was pulav rice with garam masala not even a 10 percent of a fried rice apart from the rice plus the order arrived 1.5 hour late

Guys you and your luck, their taste is nice and affordable. You will get the good quality if you dine in there, if you will order from zomato then you might get a experience like me (uncooked chicken) , they will not respect you over the call they think those who orders from zomato they are eating for free.

Their South Indian tiffin is exemplary with a chettinadu taste and their accompaniments add a spicy twist.

Me and my friends are regular to this restaturant and we love the taste of dosas and the variety which they have and the pricing is very moderate compared to other South Indian restaurants.

Had Ponkal Vada and coffee from here. Ponkal was really traditional and nostalgic. Liked coffee and the crispy vada. The pricing is very economical compared to other South Indian restaurants.

This is worst place I have ever ordered. No respect for the customers. They will not r listen to orders properly or reconfirm it and then they will say that v have ordered wrongly.

Used to be one of my favourite restaurant, I lived in Dubai still I ask my friend coming from here to bring parcel of its kottu porata. But now all staffs changed may be the cook/master too. Quality and taste had come down drastically

Bad experience. Being a vegetarian I clearly ordered a Veg Thali, but served with fish kuzhambu by the server and had tasted it mistakenly.<br/>I realised that I was served wrong by the disgusting smell. Seems there is a wide difference between the server and the preparer.

Not satisfied with the food. I ordered one south indian non veg Thali and chicken boneless gravy but they delivered veg meals. The chicken boneless gravy is not at all good. Raw turmeric smell from the gravy and half cooked. If the rating is lower than 1 star I definitely put 0 star to this restaurant.<br/>

A bit more ghee in the dosa will much appreciated. The colour, smell and flavour of the dosa is not right as well. I think the ghee would solve all these three issues. Price is very moderate though.

not as ordered . i ordered one set vada and one set idli. received 1 set idli and 2idli and one vada. instead of vada set. they again gave me 2 idli and only one vada.

Most economical restaurant . As the name says it, its Tamilnadu Style Taste. Kothu Parotta ( Chicken/Egg) and the Non Veg gravy served with it is tasty.  The Quantity is more for one person.  They also serve this gravy with chappathi set and parotta set .  They term it Non Veg Gravy.  Same great taste as the street food  in Tamil Nadu. (ரோட்டு கடை சால்னா அமீரகத்தில் ).<br/>                 Have tried Medhu Vadai, dosai , Idly, Uttappam, parotta.    Medhu Vadai is crispier and tasty. Sambhar, chutney served with dosai , idly are tasty. <br/>Much much better than those branded restaurants. The quanity is also more. Have always dined in or take away. Economical Restaurant

We have order non-veg and its delivered on time approx 50 mins. The food was not hot and taste is okay but not up to the expectation.<br/><br/>I recommended veg dishes only which is good and that also dine in with hot serve.

They are taking tax from us without giving bill. today i had curd rice which is cost 7.5 dhs and unlimited meal cost is 9 dhs. quantity also is very less.

So i had ordered food at arnd 8.30.. which was ultimately delivered at arnd 9.30.. and then the order was wrong.. called them and informed them..they said they will send the rght order in 10 mins... now it is 10:45 when the order finally came.. while handing over the wrong package back to the delivery guy.. i tell him..come on man this is not how it should work.. the guy simply says its not my problem.. dont tell me abt it.. speak to the management... when i said.. r u not a part of the restaurant team.. he said.. dont eat my brains.. and became abusive.. after this experience.. i am sure this was my last time ordering.. and i would like to tell others.. if in case you still feel like ordering from here.. make sure you dont talk to the delivery guys at all.. coz they have no respect or antiquates to talk to people... and i dnt think the restaurant management cares abt it... despite telling that if i do not get a proper apology I will write a bad review. they did not bother to do anything... so all i can think is.. the management is aware of these behaviours and is mostly encouraging it by not taking any action against such staff who keep destroying the restaurants image with its customers.. one of the worst delivery experience in all my years of ordering food from outside.. I hope this review at least deters 1 person from ordering from this restaurant...

Good food. Specially the kottu. But i don’t like the fried rice too much cabbage. Overall okay. Mutton papper is very good. Well seasoned. Please do something for your fried rice.

poor bhaji was horrible...poori tasted like papad crispy and cold. had to throw....n curry was tasteless..but vada was good.wont order anymore

Excellent south indian food. Idli is a must try, it tastes like grandma's traditional home cook idlis. Tried green peas masala & gobi Manchurian dry, was very good aling with chapathi. Was very tasty & bit spicy, next will make sure to mention less spicy. But food worthy of the money. All must try it. Best of luck guys & enjoy.

Authentic Tamilnadu dishes as the name says. Best vada in town; hot and crispy with nice and fresh coconut chutney and sambar is a must try. Dosas are their specialty. Separate area for families, reasonable rate and availability of parking space is attracting my presence every now and then.

This place was literally bursting at the seams when we visited, and the noise level made it hard to talk never mind hear. On the other hand it was fun, full of life, with lots of different spaces to sit.

One of the worst service ever in UAE. I ordered On Zomato and they accepted my order and then called me saying few items are not available. If it's not available then why accept in the first place. Now Zomato has deducted 29 dhs but order received after the changes was worth 22 dhs only. When asked what about my change they advised will be deducted on my next order. Now I have Tamil Nadu restaurant who will be my chief adviser to handle my funds. What a disgrace to Tamil Nadu !!!!

Hi, been there 3-4 times for Chicken Thaali, as I really like their different varieties of South India gravies, poriyals, butter milk and rasam, the varieties of gravies are so many, don't understand what to choose, all tastes good.<br/><br/>Thought of trying their other dishes, but ended up with Thaali.

My suitable place for a take away menu is tamilnadu restaurant..their food is normal but they deliver it on time and your quest for hunger is being satisfied whenever you just dial and inform.<br/><br/>Most of the times i order just onion othapam but still they deliver..<br/><br/>So i would even give them 5 stars..but the food is not so good to give them a 5 star...

I've tried the trademark tamilnadu styles here, mostly breakfast idly, dosa, upuma, kichadi pongal everything tastes good and the taste of chutney also have to be mentioned. Uzhunuvada is crispy taste and yummy 😋. I've tried meals also, it has a wide variety of dishes and quite tasty. Never tried biriyani here.<br/><br/>Well I had given 4 stars previously which I'm reducing into 3 stars only because of the attitude of the people who are there to serve and take order in restaurant.<br/>They are pathetic and seriously bad behaved..!

During my Sharjah days 3 years back I was used to eat from here.When I saw this outlet today just opt in suddenly .Ordered uzhunnu Vada .It was nice and crispy and more over tasty with 2 different chutneys and sambar .<br/><br/><br/>Final verdict : "one of the best Vada set"

Horrible biriyani.. More than rice there was masala only.. Which was not cooked well.. Ordered mini meals and every time the curries are spilled all over the cover.. Ver poor service.. Have told them enough of times over the phone.. They do not want to make a change.

Very poor service.. I ordered a veg meal. Though it's not there, they said it's available. Finally they sent 1. Rasam was spilled all over the parcel. No side dish.. only had to enjoy with papad and rasam..They don't bother on taste of food and customer satisfaction

Good South Indian food choosy only delivery fine going out with family with more than 4 is not recommended as the space in the restaurant is limited.

As the name indicates, all the dishes are in tamil nadu style. 1 kothu porotta is enough for two people. Masala tea is awesome and the melody songs is also attractive.

They have become very very very worst on delivery..it took 1.5 hours to deliver the ordered item , worst part is that the guy who took the order always lying that " it is on the way" while we called in between 4 times.

Really good tasty South Indian food that too very affordable price ...addition of family room would be great ...for families looking for in house dinner ...

Tamil Nadu restaurant's menus are very good and serves tasty south indian foods. Prices are cheaper compared to similar restaurants.Tried no.of different foods and all r good.
