We learned from the manageress that although this is an Italian food 🥘 concept the company who’ve established the brand globally is actually German 🇩🇪 We weren’t surprised because everything is so precisely executed from the practical yet stylish interior design, the dimmed evening lighting, the customer’s journey, the quality of kitchen equipment clearly visible, the standards of professionalism from waitress to chefs and did I mention the food? Fabulous! We ordered our salad 🥗 directly from our chef 👨🏼‍🍳 and watched him prepare to our specific taste. Our fungi thin crust pizza with rocket leaves and fresh tomato as extra topping was light, balanced in taste, the pizza base was cooked to perfection and just the right amount of mozzarella cheese 🧀🍕The seafood pasta dish generous with shrimps 🍤 was so fresh, creamy and tasted yum yum yummy. With compliments came tiramisu for dessert and two spoons - I hardly know how we managed to fit it in but it was full of coffee and chocolate flavour and was delicious! 😍 The food here is just so nice you can’t waste a mouthful. Tried Vapiano for the first time and I think they are gonna be my go to pasta place moving forward. Absolutely loved the self serving concept. The portion size were massive and everything tasted amazing. Definitely going back for the carbonara pasta ! Overall an authentic Italian place that is friendly to the pocket too !!<br/>

An Italian restaurant with live stations ranging from pastas to freshly baked pizzas and salads. The restaurants interior, with its dim lighting and unique seating style is definitely a welcoming treat to wandering customers looking for Italian flavours and freshly baked pizzas. That being said, our experience was slightly on the mediocre side. As the pasta carbonara though appealing to the eye, taste wise was on the heavier side this being due to egg being incorporated into the dish along with cheese and cream making the dish completely podgy and bland to taste. Then again at our request Tabasco was brought which did help in cutting down the richness. As for the pizza diavolo the pie was fresh from the pepperoni to the peppers and onions and the cheese, however the base was a bit doughy and undercooked. The staff were welcoming and polite and even offered complimentary bread upon us arriving. Overall the experience was a bit of a let down taste wise when compared to other Italian establishments present in Dubai but if politeness and modern decor satisfies ones hunger then do drop by to vapiano as thats the only thing up to mark.

Tomato 🍅 soup 🍲 was equally tasty. The classic garlic bread was even yummied due to Oregano n chilli flakes. <br/>Bruschetta Trio was bread with three different toppings, Each one extremely flavorful.<br/>Greek salad 🥗 - A great healthy option, was fresh n full of greens 🥬 & tofu. <br/>White sauce pasta 🍝 & Primevera pasta were absolutely delicious. They had a Good mix of veggies n sauces which gave a rich taste.<br/>The freshly baked pizza base, with dough made inhouse, did wonders! Verdure pizza was yummy topped with veggies n cheese.<br/>At the end, we had Tiramisu & Blueberry cheesecake - mildly sweet, extremely soft n refreshing! <br/>Vapiano is the new hot spot to satisfy my Italian food cravings 🤤

If you are a pasta lover definitely you like this place as all of the ingredients are fresh and prepared inside the kitchen, the pizza was good too but nothing special to mention. I will recommend it to friends and family.

Vapiano has been my to do go place when it comes to comfort Italian pastas.<br/><br/>What I ordered:-<br/><br/>- Tagliatelle Alfredo chicken pasta -AED 48<br/>- Chicken BBQ pizza ( as recommended by staff as best seller) - AED 52 <br/><br/><br/>Loved the pasta. Pizza was a disappointment, the chicken was undercooked. <br/><br/>Staff was friendly however did not entertain any topping replacements in pasta (mushrooms with olives), instead they charged me extra for the olives which I don’t think is reasonable for the AED 48 price range (extra AED 4 for olives).<br/><br/>Great ambience and you will feel refreshed when having meals.<br/><br/>

Great ambience, decent food. The pasta is very good and the pizza also had a good flavor but the some pieces of chicken on the pizza were undercooked causing a slight raw smell/flavor. Food is fresh. Place is good. Just park the car in extended parking for SAHARA zara parking and lift top and here u go. Beside lift the restaurant is present. I love there pasta and garlic bread! Even the pizza is tasty!

Visited this place for dinner. Good ambience and lovely staff. They really made us feel welcomed and comfortable. The Pasta was awesome and the Lasagna was just OK. Overall nice experience and will definitely visit again.

Writing a review for this one will be tough because although i go there often i don’t have any impressions of it as such. Its an above average restaurant in terms of ambiance with very average food. Nothing jumps out is terms of taste although the hygiene and quality of ingredients seem really good. Its a solid average for me!

Good pasta but over priced <br/>I’ve tried carbonara ( good), ravioli with riccota cheese & rocket( healthy and light ), reef & beef ( I expected it to be more tasty)

Extremely disappointing service. The server was least interested in serving us. Any time we asked her to bring us fork or anything, she would give us a weird look. The food didnot taste great as well. Would not reccomend this restaurant

Amazing pasta and the staff was so friendly i was feeling at home the manager visited our table twice with full care, tiramisu and coffee super tasty, strongly recommended

It was my first visit there I was so happy to see the staff and the manager all smiling and happy to serve us and the pasta was super tasty and sure sure recommended

Very nice tomato soup. Slightly disappointed with the zucca salad. Asked for the salad to be prepared without one of the vegetable but then corn was added instead without confirmation if that is desired. Unfortunately not everyone eats corn so would be nice if chef doesn’t put something according to his liking without checking previously with customer.

Visited Vapiano with my family on a Saturday evening. The place was well done interiors and although it has an open seating concept there was enough privacy for all diners.<br/>We ordered a veg pizza and the veg pasta which were their recommended choices in the vegetarian section.<br/>The pasta was wonderful, good mix of vegis and sauces giving it a rich taste. The pizza was with the freshly baked dow with decent quantities of toppings.<br/><br/>We also ordered a fresh carrot and orange juice which was refreshing.<br/>The restaurant accepts the entertainer and is a decent option if you want to relish some italian food.

Always wanted to try this place and this restaurant didn’t disappoint at all. Very nice ambience. Nice staffs. Pasta was really good. Everything looks fancy and cute.

Have always been a fan of this place . Whenever I am craving for some authentic Italian dishes be it pizza , pasta or salad , Vapiano always come to my mind . Ordered a Fusilli arabiata and Caesar’s salad ( without chicken ) . Enjoyed !!!

We had to wait 55min for the delivery, but the pizza was delicious and still hot!

I ordered the Reef and Beef pasta dish. I usually order this dish from other Vapiano outlets, especially in Germany and Sweden as I’m there a lot. The standard is usually the same and high quality which is why I usually go there for a quick meal.<br/>However this time they changed up the sauce. The sauce they used was a creamy Alfredo mixed with something sour... mustard maybe? It tasted awful and I had to leave over a third of the dish behind - I couldn’t finish it. <br/>Please stick to cooking what the menu says, if it has to be changed due to lack of<br/>ingredients at least inform the customer before they charge money on the card...

Alfredo pasta was one of the delicious pasta we've had! The portion and ingredients were satisfying. Impressed by the thick cuts of ham on Hawaii pizza. Just felt short in the service of the servers and it was not very appealing for first time diners.

Hi,i just called in this outlet,i'm not a costumer but i just want to share what i experienced tonight,i was wondering why the person who will answer the telephone,not mentioning their name..it was acceptable if the staff who answered is new, but to have the position not reasonable.How about if the one who called is costumer?what they will feel if they will heard that the person answered the phone did not tell their name or even nice greetings?Im just concern because in this case there's possibilities that you loose your costumer..<br/>Thank you..

Really tasty italian food. I have tried the carbonara and ravioli con carne. Was delicious and just enough quantity for one person. Loved the interiors and seating arrangement with high tables. Placing of order is quite different here. You need to go to the different cooking stations to place your order. Rely nice concept.

I can literally eat pasta day night funny but true so we had been to Europe and covered few parts of it eating pasta pizza day night and I literally wanted to eat more when we reach back to dubai vapiano never disappoint us being a vegetarian though hubby is non vegetarian I always wanted some nice place to eat good pasta since there are rarely places which serves nice vegetarian pasta so this place is bliss best part of this place you can modify your pasta asper your desire moreover if you are a garlic bread fan head over to this place the garlic bread with cheese option is yummy

We pastaholics had a field day at Vapiano the other day. Everything that we ordered was awesome. <br/>.<br/>1. The sea food pasta - Carbonara Salmone (AED 52) - was the best of the lot. Creamy and indulgent, containing smoked salmon 🐟 pieces and parsley, this pasta hit all the right spots.<br/>.<br/>2. Another pasta we highly recommend is Pollo Picanto (AED 52), chicken pasta 🐓 in a tangy orange chilli sauce.<br/>.<br/>The Italians 🇮🇹 are serious about their food and this includes using freshly picked vegetables and leaves in their dishes and sauces. They cannot do without their kitchen gardens! Vapiano’s attempt at converting their small space in the Mall to look like an indoor garden with real shrubs on your table and potted herbs all around, is commendable. You can even take home one of these small pots of basil for a small price. <br/>.<br/>We also liked the concept of live counters, wherein you can customise your pasta/pizza according to your needs. You don’t normally see that in a restaurant.<br/>.<br/>Overall rating - 9/10 (seriously loved it!)<br/>Verdict - So if you are as crazy about pasta as we are do check out Vapiano! A presto!

Staff was friendly and helpful. Nice ambiance and food was good. Ordered the Ravioli Con Carne and some Spaghetti. Situated on the top floor where it’s a very quiet area. We ordered Chicken Penne with Alfredo sauce and a Chicken Ceasar Salad. The pasta was hot with fresh ingredients that made it taste so good, I have been here before and what made me come back was the Ceasar Salad, one of the best and is a must try. Will be back to dine again in this place

There pasta was ok...but the sauce was amazing...we ordered penne and fettuccine pasta with Alfredo sauce...was yumm.....staffs were not tat friendly...we went at 10 pm..may b bcz f late time tiredness might hv irritated them...overall not bad

Ordered four dishes; Alfredo with Penne, Aglio E Olio, Ravioli Con Ricotta E Rucola and Bruschetta. <br/>Alfredo with Penne is a non vegetarian dish which is Penne Pasta served with chicken breast, mushroom, garlic oil and creamy sauce . This is was my favorite dish. <br/>Aglio E Olio is a vegetarian dish which consists of Penne Pasta , garlic in olive oil, chilli and parsley. It was the oil which was drizzled on top of the pasta which gave out flavor. <br/>The ravioli with ricotta (cheese) was stuffed with vegetables and topped with pine nuts, rocket (leaves) and cherry tomato sauce . The rocket was not needed in the dish. It tasted quite bland. The sauce was the only element which had flavor. <br/>Bruschetta is not a dish for a person who loves chicken. It was just a plate of pizza , topped with tomatoes , garlic and basil with rockets and the base was of mozzarella . This was my least favorite dish. It was the dry leaves which had absolutely no taste, placed right on top of the pizza . It was overall a bad dish. <br/><br/>The staff were sweet and friendly and the service was prompt. The ambience and decor was good!

The reason there is an online ordering service is to avoid phone calls but I received calls to confirm my order another call to confirm location. Then apparently the prices on zomato are not the prices for the restaurant....try to fix that and take the locations and online orders and avoid the calls.

this was definitly a unique order-it-yourself experience. my first italian restaurant experience where the waiters are there only to explain how to order and to serve food as it is ready. we got the menu and decided on what to order and then proceeded to the different stations for salad pizza and pasta respectively where the chefs there took our order and also recommended any addition sides or toppings. we ordered a salad with an addition of beef on it and spicy bbq chicken pizza and aglio e olio( garlic pasta in olive oil) and lastly chicken alfredo. the portions were nice and fulfilling. with basil plants fixed on the table and 3 kinds of olive oil so you just pluck a basil leaf or leaves and use the olive oil to your requirement. would like to go back again and try other dishes as well.

Vapiano is one of the first few restaurants we loved here in UAE.<br/><br/>We used to live nearby Sahara Center and this restaurant was one of our fave to go to! We loved any of “soup of the day” and partner it with their complimentary bread with the vinaigrette and olive oil!<br/><br/>OMG! Vapiano used to be a firm favorite for Italian food when I first visited them years ago at Dubai mall, but the quality of food seem to have taken a severe beating especially at the Sahara center outlet the last couple of times we visited. <br/><br/>We ordered for concarne ravioli and pesto penne. The sauce for the ravioli was very poor and super thick in consistency while the pesto sauce was very bland and didn't taste all that great. <br/><br/>Considering multiple great quality Italian options available around now, will probably give this one a miss for a while!

Last night was my first visit to Vapiano and it was a memorable one. It is a definite must-try for Italian cuisine lovers, especially pasta. The chef prepares the dish on the spot with the pasta type of your choice, which is pretty awesome. I had ordered the Pollo Piccante and it was delicious.

For all those who enjoy Italian food Vapiano is a must try. The portion sizes are quite big and the Pasta, Ravioli and Pizza is amazing . The chef tailor makes your pasta as per your taste !

My favorite pasta place. The first time I went, I opted for simple and basic food to get the essence of the place. Cesare salad and All'arrabiata. Loved it so much, couldn't believe something so simple and something that I often eat, could be so spot-on and deliciously different. And then, when I went again, I did not even think of trying anything else and went with the same salad and pasta. I don't regret not-trying anything new. Can do it the next time. So suggestions on what I should try next?? Because I am definitely going back there soon.

Great place for any type of pasta you prefer. Best Chicken Alfredo Pasta & Pizza I've ever had. The dining experience is great. Little bit on the pricey side but it's worth it! Pollo Picante is another pasta which tasted delicious! A must try for Italian food lovers!

Super fast service, and lots of fresh pasta. I always leave this place feeling stuff. A wide range of food options available on the menu. Difference types and shapes of pasta to suit all. The Soups are nice though I often opt for the large tomato one and a salad.

Never been to an Italian restaurant that gives a loaded ingredients in the pizza .. also most of their drinks are fresh and refreshing <br/>I gave it 4.5 because of the delivery i always receive my order cold it is probably because of the traffic

A cozy place located in a corner that is calling your name to come and try their lovely Italian food. <br/><br/>Food? <br/><br/>The complimentary bread tasted stale and was rationed. <br/><br/>The risotto Americano that we substituted for chicken instead of all the meat it contained was flavorful. The bell peppers added a twist to the tomato sauce, however, we thought the sauce was slightly too heavy. <br/><br/>The pesto pizza was slightly too oily which could be understandable since pesto itself contains olive oil, and we thought the chopped tomatoes could be replaced by a bit of marina sauce, because I felt like I was eating a heavy bruschetta. <br/><br/>Overall rating: broke and fairly satisfied.

Vapiano is the place to be for pumpkin soup and aglio e olio pasta!! Lovely ambience ! Excellent service and supreme taste! Will come here again for sure! Do try this place for the taste of Italy!

This place is so prettily done up, i cant get enough of it. It is one of those rare times when I order Salad in a restaurant. The salads are so fresh and the balsamic vinegar add beautiful flavours to the salad. The pasta also is a big hit with us. With the flexibility of choosing the sauces and vegetables/meat you want, there are minimal chances of going wrong.<br/>We have had pleasant experiences with the servers most times here.

Only called me once to confirm order and actually carried sufficient change too. <br/><br/>Packaging: 5 points <br/>The food delivered came fresh, perfectly rest to eat and the best part, to ensure that the taste is not compromised they packaged the addons separately. Example, cheese for risotto was separately packed to be sprinkled when I'm ready to eat. <br/><br/>The food: 4 points <br/>The quality of food is definitely above average. There's always room for improvement, especially considering the price they are charging, but it was in no way disappointing. <br/><br/>Would definitely recommend any foodie to try this place.

One of the strangest meals I have had in a log time. The service leaves you confused and it was only when the manager came enquiring at the end of the meal did I learn that this is a semi self service restaurant. You first have to go to the counters and order, where they give you a card that you keep ... Then you show yourself to a table ... The waitress came and plonked the plate near me and went away, had to attract her attention to get a glass (bottle of water was handed over to me at the ordering counter) and tissues. Wanted a fresh pair of knife and fork for the second course, but couldn't find any waiters nearby so gave up. Wanted to try the balsamic vinegar and the olive oil at the next table but felt foolish getting up and taking it myself so gave that up as well. On the food, the Carpaccio e bresaola antipasti was fresh and wholesome and highly recommended. The insalata reef and beef salad was soggy with miserly portions of both shrimp and beef, didn't finish it. The complementary side of bread was plain and bland and boring and the butter I requested was unsalted and roughly cut and hurriedly served. The manager did come and gave me a patient ear at the end of the meal but he should have come earlier during the meal to check. The only point is that why should someone pay AED 99 for 1 antipasti, 1 salad and 1 small bottle of still water if there was other options just next door whose service we LOVE and keep going back to. Worth your time if prices are halved or service is at par to the neighbours.

Vapiano is a must try for their pizzas. The pizzas are thin crust and very flavorful. The concept of selecting food off cooking stations is different compared to the conventional style of ordering. The fresh juices are good. The pasta wasn't that great and a bit on the bland side.

Vapiano was a very bland experience. The quantity and quality was average. We placed an order of pasta arabiatta and veg. pizza but it tasted ordinary. The prices are high for the food. The ambience scores positively for vapiano for it being quite peaceful and bright. I did not enjoy the card system of ordering your food instead of a waiter taking your order. Every time you want something, you have to get up and swipe your card at the desired section, for eg. Pasta section. Its nice to see a new way of ordering but it is a bit of a hassle. The staff is fine. Unfortunately I would not go there again unless there is a certain change in the food.

Vapiano is always a good experience and the new location in Sharjah was just as good. Loved the overall service and ambience. The food was excellent. The staff was friendly, courteous and helpful. <br/><br/>The only sore point was the watermelon juice was more water less melon. You get the point.... TERRIBLE.

Have tried their Bbq chicken pizza, tomato soup and the reef n beef salad. The soup was OK, the salad was nice and filling but the pizza was a little dry.<br/>Having visited both their outlets (Sahara centre and Dubai mall) I must say the one in Dubai mall serves better tasting food.

Opened up in the new extension , went with family ordered the pizza also pasta , good decent choice for Italian fast food in a mall. Their service is quick

I've been to Vapiano a couple of times and was quite satisfied. Their operations are streamlined and impressive, and I find they serve their dishes faster than most other Italian restaurants.Their menu is quite diverse as well and includes interesting fusion dishes combining tastes from around the world. The quality of the food is good.Would recommend the dish: Thaitaly. A combination I never thought would work, that works really well.

Vapiano is my favourite Italian restaurant in the UAE! I've been to the one in Sahara Centre and the Dubai Mall. Fresh pasta/pizza cooked right in front of you, BEST ordering/payment process (smooth AND efficient).<br/>My absolute favorite thing to eat when I come here is Aglio E Olio pasta and Tiramisu Mousse for dessert. <br/>Trust me, the food and ambience are WORTH every penny!

The new ordering concept is somewhat not appealing to me since it's situated near to restaurants where I can just simply sit and place my order. And besides, if they managed to come up with this idea, I hope they managed to made a different menu as well. But as far as I what I saw, nothing makes it different to the rest.

The place is great for night out with the family. The ordering technique is unique so might take a while to get used to. But the staff was really helpful and assisted us well. The food was really delicious and I would go back for more sometime soon. <br/><br/>Only disappointment was they advertised for lasagne everywhere but not available. But I got the excuse to to try something else.

It's good enough. Not exquisite but it does carry that on-the-go taste , nothing special but still very good , better than other quick pasta restaurants.

We used to love eating at vapiano but sadly out last 3 experiences were not good. Ambience is good. But twice the pasta was overdone and do in lumps. And they replaces sundried tomatoes with cherry tomatoes in pesto pasta which surely is not as tasty any more. Plus the pine nuts are bare minimum. So basically it's just pasta and pesto. Food there does not come cheap. But without the right quality too one would think twice before shelling out money. Hope they improve as we have been to vapiano in many places in Europe and have always loved it

Just a general thing about this special Italian place is that it's actually German. Yes Vapiano is German but with German engineering they made one of the best casual Italian restaurants in the world. All their pasta is made fresh daily and they have specials all the time. Their pizza is a authentic Italian pizza so you cannot go wrong if you order it. As a side note they have cups for every city they operate in so if you travel and see a branch check out their city cups.

They make the pasta's themselves, cook live in front of you (in a beautiful marble walled kitchen), you can pluck of basil leaves from the pots on the table, beautiful long table with high stools and low light (only falls on the food) for an overall great experience. When we crave Italian, we go here without a blink.

Ordered two pasta dishes . One with pink sauce veges and Shrimps and was extremly delicious, the second was with pesto and Chicken... Pesto sauce was a to die for with fussili and pine nuts, yet chicken was not edible my guess cooked chicken breasts while still frozen which resulted in chewy and hard chicken slices!!

Food is prepared fresh and delicious. Staff are awesome... The ambiance is relaxing... One problem, the way people order is a hassle. Why not make it like the usual, when you dine in so that your customers don't need to stand up and pick up the food at the counter.

Vapiano is my go to restaurant. You can't go wrong with Italian. The Sahara mall branch is very quiet and cozy compared to the heavy bustle of the Dubai Mall one. True Italian taste, little expensive. Nice ambience good choice of food perfect cooking methods. Quantity is good enough. If crave for pasta or pizza its a must try resturant. The best part of the menu is spice options.

Nice pasta , really nice but i can not say the same thing for pizza, it d be better if it was a bit cheaper though, fresh basilic on the tables is nice move.

Tried out the place on a whim with a group of friends and do not regret it.<br/><br/>They have a different concept of ordering. Waiters do not take the orders instead a card is handed over and we go to the individual counters, place our order and tag the card. The food reaches our table after some time. What a unique concept! Even when paying the bill we hand over our card to the counter and the total amount shows.<br/><br/>I had the arrabiata which was really good. The red sauce was done beautifully hence the simple pasta tasted really good. Also tried the carrot soup which was nice too.<br/><br/>Dessert was Tiramisu which was good too. They had an offer when buying coffee we get a dessert free.<br/><br/>Warm service and nicely done interiors too, they had pots of basil and rosemary all over not to mention a small little olive tree. The waiters kept coming over to enquire about our food which was a nice touch.

Not bad, not so good either. The place looks nice and attractive. This restaurant has its own different and unique system of ordering, you get a card then you go to the counter where you punch your card when you order from the cook directly, then you pick a table and they bring your dish to you and the end of it you pay on your way out. Their pasta was okay, nothing amazing about it, the fresh juices weren't good, but their pizza reminded me of pizzas in France which I suppose are quite delightful.

I was at Vapiano in Sahara Mall for a lunch meeting and we were not disappointed. The service is quick and up to the mark! I like the ambience created at the outlet which can easily seat up to 30 people or so.<br/>I have been here twice and ordered the veggie pasta in "pink" sauce this time. You can pick what goes into your pasta and I picked some broccoli, mushrooms and olives which were well sautéed and generously tossed into some well cooked fusilli. And with the sauce being just the right texture and flavor, the dish tasted just right! The seafood pasta is another hit. I like how the outlet is decked up with fresh potted herbs set on the table along with other spices. Caters to your tastebuds and the aesthetics of the place! If you're looking for a quick eat out that fills you up just right, I'd recommend this exquisite Italian eatery!<br/>P.s.
