I have been to this place twice or thrice and would recommend it to everyone. If you want pasta with a good taste & reasonable price, Gerard is the best option.
Their portion is also enough to fill your tummy.
Love the creamy carbonara and the fresh juices. Food is not pricey. The Filipino waiter is helpful and accomodating. I kept coming back with various friends!😊

Last winter I took an impulsive seat at this little cafe restaurant. Set against the gorgeous Qasba backdrop, it seemed like a good option given the beautiful weather. With a book in hand, i ordered a cappuccino and pasta. The coffee was well brewed. The pasta was tasty.
The overall experience made me visit a second time and ordered a sandwich which came with a side of fries. The portions are generous for one person. The staff is friendly and available nearby.
Its a great place for a coffee date, or if you want some writing done. I would like more options on the menu since the food options were quite standard. However, It became a winter regular for me to bring a book and enjoy the food.
Their molten chocolate cake and chocolate crepe are very disappointing in comparison to the main course. But had the Alfredo pasta and cappuccino for the first time from this place. Both the items were wonderful in taste as well as presentation. The staff is very friendly. The most impressive thing was that even though the outlet was crowded due to weekend, the service was quick.
Hubby and I visited the Al Khan Branch.
We ordered Pepperoni Pizza and Penne Alfredo. Just 2 orders but we were stuffed. We liked the pepperoni and much more the alfredo (with few chicken slices). The staff were always outside (waiting for prospect diners) but they were helpful. The resto is perfectly situated in Al Qasba. A place often visited by Sharjah residents and tourists.
Beautiful place & AweSoOoMe food. Staff is very friendly & nice. Best place to go for a date. Also amazing if gone along with family. The milk shake is superb & the lasagne is lush mouth watering.

Their outdoor seating area close to the creek side is not only fascinating but most preferrable for this winter months. It is also an excellent spot to watch the illuminating lights, a part of the Sharjah Festival of Lights 2016 -a very magical show and very entertaining to watch during this time of the year.
And as for the food, we had tuna salad and was very delightful; love its fresh ingredients. Pepperoni and cheese pizza -very cheessy perhaps because of the added cheese that requested by one of our companions that makes it greasy and heavy at the same time. But the taste was good that also comes in a big palette which in turn, more than enough to fill the whole company. We also had their spaghetti bolognaise topped with parmesan cheese that makes it quite smelly but tasted good as well. Also quite heavy for it has a generous serving. However, the beef lasagna has the best part of our meal. It doesn't comes in generous serving but quite heavy for it was loaded with cheese that blended well with other main ingredients. Also added french fries and just a plain one that can also be found any where whilst nothing special about it. Tried also one of their desserts -Dominique crepe filled with nutella and topped with vanilla ice cream for which I did not appreciate much. Maybe because it is not appropriate for the cold weather. Otherwise, everything's tasteful and satisfyingly. Menu price is decent, thus, great value for your money. It takes time to serve but the wait is going to be worth it.
The service this time was impressive. Staff are simply wonderful; friendly, accommodating and considerate, which I would say, rare in this outlet. Not our first time to dine here or so, so I should already know. But truly this time, they gave a remarkable impression. Indeed, everyone deserves a second chance.
To sum it all, we had a great meal in amusing location with captivating views and shows. We really had a good time. Look forward to visit the place again.
The food was good but the waiters too lazy you need to be patience. But I come here tow times per week. In this time I ordered Moroccan tea with chocolate crepe
Gerard is the perfect example for a trendy cafe right at the heart of Sharjah.
Visited this place while we were at Qasba and to our surprise the place was actually one of those few high end cafe that caters quality items. We ordered the "Hot Chocolate" which was rich in texture and creamy with just the right amount of sugar.
We also ordered the "Nutella Crepe" which was exceptionally briliant. The combination of a creamy hot chocolate and soft nutella crepe was brilliant.
All in all if you are up for a relaxed evening with a few close friends or just someone special Gerard is a must visit..
Had stopped by Gerard's for a cup of coffee and cake. Ambience is pretty relaxed, but the coffee - was passable. The carrot cake saved the day however! They have quite an extensive lunch menu, however I haven't tried it as yet.
Absolutely love this place! Caramel macchiato and zaatar croissants are my faves. Much recommend! But i don't recommend there home delivery as the quality of dine in is way better.

I read Ms. Jay's review before going. And in all honesty, it's a bit overblown.
The service isn't that bad. True, the waitresses are quite busy, but all you need to do is call out and they'll come swiftly.
Ok, now to the review.
Pros:
1. Ambiance: Fantastic. Outdoor and Indoor, both are beautiful.
2. Food: Good. (I ordered the vegetarian pizza, arabiatta pasta and cheese sandwich. The sandwich was bad, just few cheese slices and tomato stuffed between the bread. Pizza and Pasta were good.)
3. Price (for selected items): At 30Dh, the pizza is quite a bargain. It is quite big.
Cons:
1. Service: The restaurant is quite busy (esp on Friday evening). You will need to call out for service.
2. Preparation Time: A bit long. I have eaten at places with swifter chefs. (the pizza was raw from underneath even after about 15 mins of cooking period).
Overall, it's not so bad. And with a Groupon voucher of 50% off, I had quite a fill for my money.
The best coffee I have tasted in UAE. The coffee quantity is just right and the services are prompt... The seating out area is right next to the Canal which is really good for a winter evening.
This is the second time i have been to gerard.... besides their 3 colours coffee(which is amazing)...there pepperoni pizza is worth a try .....
