Delivery was little late..Tried veg maharaja bojanam from wadi al madeena.. ..it includes rice,2 chappathys, veg biriyani,sambar,rasam,sweets & 2 veg curries.. good quantity & tasty.. enough for 2 people..curries were little spicy but good👍🏻..

It is one of my favourite restaurants in Sharja. Naattu kozhi Briyani, and dosas are my favourites. Restaurant have good ambience and Whenever I visit this hotel and I get feeling that I came to my home town in Tamilnadu. I always spend some time look at their interior posters which brings back my old memories and they have old photo collections which is simply awesome. I really look forward to visit next time.

I have ordered mutton chukka and I have received mutton gravy type . This is second time that I am experiencing from this restaurant. Earlier I have ordered chicken briyani and they gave me briyani rice inside chicken gravy pieces . I do understand this restaurant want to sell what they have. I am really disappointed with their service . Delivered so fast with nothing. My request is if really don’t have what customer asked please tell to them that you don’t have rather what you have don’t send to them.

I ordered mutton biryani and Gulab jamun but instead of gulab jamun what I received was two laddoos. I called the restaurant and they said gulab Jamun wasn’t available so they got me laddoos instead😂 without informing or consulting with customers how can they just replace customers order with anything?

After eating the restaurant food, I should say that this joint is good for dosa stuff and not for something like the main course- curry styles.. as I have ordered both the kind but was satisfied more to the dosa rather then this Korma... so finally it’s a mixed review... :)<br/>

I have been there sometimes. First few visits are nightmare. I was ordering egg fried rice chicken soup and chicken soup. Non of them are up to the mark. Its spicy and smells raw<br/><br/>And later I tried tiffin item otherday like idli , dosa, parotta with plain gravy and egg biryani all these were excellent. Then I decided that this is the place for tiffin and biryani if you like it spicy

I cannot rate this restaurant with more than 2 stars.. As the quality and taste of food is not upto the mark and coming to price its on very high compared to food and service.. we tried chicken and mutton thalappakatti biryani and King Fish Biryani also.. I am not satisfied with the taste nor the service..

This is the 2rd time within a week that I faced this issue of late delivery. The 1st time was horrible ..they declined my order after 30 mins of placing it without a call from the restaurant or from zomato. They accepted my order after 45mins and it was delivered after 2 hours. 2nd time is now. I placed the order at 12:37 expecting delivery at 1:17 as shown on the app and now its 1:51pm and still haven't received a call from the restaurant and neither does zomato care...zomato is useless.

I bought Hyderabadi dum Biryani yesterday. Believe me it was pathetic in taste. Full of spices and that's it. Not recommended for Biryani atleast.

Was kind of difficult finding a restaurant to order lunch from at 3pm during Ramadan. Our choice of the day was a fish thali with Matta rice and Wadi Al Madeena, was the right choice for it. Great quantity and taste and with the right amount of side dishes to compliment the thali. Chettinadu Restaurant have impressed me with their service and good food time and again. I've been ordering from them every morning for almost 3 weeks now. Their breakfast dishes and filter coffee are so filling and tasty. The staff are very humble and friendly. Special thanks to the gentleman who works the morning shift and takes extra care of his regular customers. The portions are huge and the food delivered is also hot. God Bless.

We ordered parcel 3 chicken thali and we were told there is a complimentary Gulab jamuns 2 plates but unfortunately it didn’t come with the parcel , the delivery was late 10 min and food was ok except the fried netholli( anchovies) they were not fresh and tasted frozen

Never order from this restaurant.... I made an online order by 7.30 their driver called me by 8.30 and by 9 when i called him he says some other driver would bring. Restaurant tells me at 9.05 that order hasn't been sent yet... Still confused if i will get my food or not..... Zomato support also is no use in this subject. They tell me restaurant is not responding

Tired for the first time and I must say there are much better option available around. For me it didn't hit the mark and it didn't appeal to us.

Should be given zero rating..... Pathetic response from delivery boy and misleading info from manager. Ordered just a dosa n poori, received d parcel after 1.5 hrs that too eveything mixed up n covers broken. The worst part was, when we asked to cancel the order, they r asking us to take the dosa and wait for more time for them to bring back the sambar n poori bhaji... WORST EVER SERVICE THAT I HAVE COME ACROSS!!! Will never opt for this hotel again.

The delivery time took more than 100 min and every time i called they keep lying. Food quality was ok but it always takes more than estimated time. Do not order for delivery unless you have patient.

Got their chicken kadai and chapatis delivered yesterday, to experience their food for the first time.<br/>Unfortunately it was a disaster, the chapatis were flat and hard, the gravy was oily with sorry excuses for chicken.

It was the first time I tried ordering online through zomato and i was pretty happy with the service provided by the hotel.<br/>Order was for one chicken biryani and one Hyderabadi biriyani.<br/>The food was spicy and amazing. It was one of the best biriyani i have ever had. The curry which was served with the biriyani was also a great combination with it and tasted Soo good.<br/>I received the delivery within 40 mins and enjoyed a 10% discount from zomato as well.<br/><br/>Worth trying..!!! go for the biriyani it won't disappoint you..!!

Original spicy Chettinadu food their idli makes me nostalgic of having street food in chennai courteous staff. All their veg delicacies have that karaikudi feel to it. People allergic to spicy food warning to be careful😀

Ordered food 3-4 times so far and I must say that the taste is quite ok but what I am really disappointed about is that one or more items are often missing. Ordered Chenna Batura today and the Chenna was missing. No kurma for koththu parota and the other day no chapati in the thali I was sent. Chilli parota was below average. Very bad service. The delivery guy also tries to cheat by giving us the the other bill which does not have the 10% discount offered by the restaurant. Need to be extra cautious. Would never recommend it to anyone.

hey guys! I invite you to have experience in chettinadu city restaurant I am Pilipino but I really like the biryani and mixed noodles  actually all food I like  was so awesome and very tasty..  this is one of my favourites restaurant cheap but good quality of the food .

Very disappointed with home deliveries recently. <br/>1. Ordered for couple of vegetarian items of dosa variety. After an hour called up and came to know that the food was wrongly delivered somewhere else and food was delivered after another hour. Couple of items where spoilt. Stopped ordering.<br/>2. After couple of months ordered again. This time was their non veg lunch and everything was fine.<br/>3. Ordered again tonight and disappointed once again with stale chutney and green peas masala.<br/><br/>Guys, if you are listening, be careful. You are loosing customers for sure.

My first visit at my neighborhood Restaurent. A small but enough to accommodate more than 25 people. Decided to have vegetarian but the guy who serves us forces us to order chicken chettinadu and chicken kothu porotta. The selection was good. Especially kothu porotta. They served it in a small haundi but the quantity was enough for 2. Last we ordered thattu dosai, which was really really good. Good staffs and pocket friendly. 4/5

very bad service of chettinad restaurant in Sharjah, kalba road, muweilah industrial. Most of the orders are not met and sometimes orders are replaced by other items. All those who want to eat some good food from outside, please dont go for chettinad! They will never meet your order and expectations!

Was out for lunch as it was a closest to the place I was visiting. Chettinadu food was a safe bet. Even though a big fan of the Chettinadu Chicken Biriyani Wanted to play safe so ordered for the Egg Biriyani which was ok till I got the bill and it was mere AED 11. The place is quite clean and art on the walls are nice as it gives u a journey of Chettinadu and kollywood. The service is was a bit slow even though the restaurant was not packed.<br/><br/>Would surely visit again to try other items in the menu

Lunch thali promotion is good and value for money. Just dhs.10 we can have unlimited meals mainly fish meals are nice and nattu kozhi masala is superb

I've been to this restaurant for Lunch. Food quality is good. Food was served on time. Pretty hygiene. Waiter was friendly. Totally worth the money!!

I ordered Twice from this restaurant and both time I am disappointed. First time I ordered Vegetarian Meal ( Thali ) which was good in taste but very spice. Second time I ordered Palak Paneer with Chapati. This time he took 1 hour to deliver the food, palak paneer is not at all up the mark. It's Oily and no taste. Apart from that, he didn't include salad which was ordered. No doubt it's pocket friendly but not happy with food as well.

I wanted to have chappathi because I preferred that at night. To my astonishment he never spoke about it nor was it in the menu. The rotti was ok but really small for 2 dirhams and hence i had to take another order. This time another guy approached me and he gave me chappathi. Surprise!!!!<br/><br/>But I regretted my decision later because the chappathi was worse than the rotti. It was straight from a frozen chappathi packet. Could have atleast given me a favor of heating it which never happened. <br/><br/>I will be going back to this place to try the Dosas which I found a lot of people ordering. Hope at least  that doesn't disappoint me.

CCR provides good quality South Indian cuisine at affordable prices. Prompt delivery service can be expected. Love their crispy vadas for breakfast. Their menu boasts Chinese and North Indian food too, if you are feeling experimental.
