Had the maharajah thali and it was amazing. The staff is super friendly and service is great. It was a Friday afternoon and was not crowded. The hot puri and cold buttermilk were divine. Everything on the plate reminded me of home.
This is the one of the place, I added in my favorite restaurant. Food is so good that I had almost every dish in the restaurant. It’s a great place to eat every day food.

Visited this place because I was craving some chaat items. Waiters are really polite and friendly.
I ordered one pani puri spicy and one suggested from waiter which was the Raj Kachori. To my surprise, the raj kachori was so tasty, so new to me because I never had because the spice, the dahi, the tasty fusion of mixed aloo tikki in every bite gives you the taste. It was fantastic.
Also, the pani puri was very spicy as I wanted. Served with pudina water, daal and one tamarind dip it was very well made with the required garnishing in it. Overall I must say it’s one of the best chaat place in Sharjah. I will highly recommend this place.
Ambience is very nice with a express train design to it. Well maintained and hygenic. The karak chai is also a must try.

Good vegetarian food, they can also customize it to no onion-garlic fare...we ordered Manager's thali and it was worth every penny. There was pizza too, yummy but was a bit spicy for the kids despite telling them that we want it non spicy... overall a good experience though due to a bigger crowd they were faltering a little on the service..
Oh this place is a gem!! Their Maharaja thali is just perfect. Sabjis, snacks, desserts everythings yummy. They give enough quantity and food tastes very homely. Its just great.

The packaging was good..no leakage and the portions were good enough too.
Only drawback was they took long to deliver the food and i didnt like the gatta curry much..

We happened to pass by this place and decided to give this place a try.
Ambience is nothinng fancy, but has a back ground of a Train, Suryanagri Express which is a train commuting between Mumbai and Jodhpur.
Has a lot of interesting pictures inside this small and cosy restaurant, which reminds you of home.
Coming to food, we did a take away and the packaging was awesome.
They had disposable thali plate which had different items in it.
Good enough quantity for 1 person, it is worth AED 15.
They have two types of thali, express thali and managers thali.
I would highly recommend this place for its friendly staff as well.

SuryaNagri Express is a must visit place for every Indian who holds on very closely to it's food. Looking at the menu and the ambiance it let me wonder, was I really away from home.
SuryaNagri Express is the name of a train which operates between Mumbai & Jodhpur (Rajasthan) and the food is highly influenced by the locals dishes from these places. However, it isn't limited to just the cuisine of these places, but broadly covers the whole country.
Delivery time: The order was directly placed with the outlet over a call and it took about 35 minutes which was totally worth waiting.
Packaging: This wasn't anything fancy, but done pretty much right, except for the one of Sev puri, which could be improved as I witnessed slight spillage.
Food:
1)Moong Daal Kachori: I was informed that only a last batch of 2 pieces was left for that day and I am glad that I ordered for them. The size was much smaller than I thought it would be, but the taste was phenomenal. The moong daal masala was really flavoursome with a rich taste of ghee (clarified butter). These were served with green chutney and sweet chutney. I am not a fan of the sweet chutney, but this had such a neat taste, that I ended up drinking the left over one. The dish is priced at AED 10 which is approximately 200 INR, definately looks expensive, but worth every penny.
2)Sev Batata Puri: Found this one to be slightly above average, as the flavour of the green chutney for this one, did not live up to my expectation.
3)Samosa Pav: The size of the samosa was reasonably good and the flavour was decent.

Now here comes a outlet which is a hope in desert.We found it on zomato while we were looking for chaats and rajasthani food.The maharaja thaali is their specialty for which you hv to be there on weekends.
My mother never eats pizza but first time she tried here as the owners made sure that it is without egg plus the cheese is also 100% veg.
Kids also loved their falooda.So I think all veg lovers must try this outlet.

Wow!We found a amazing outlet in sharjah.We went there on 7th December. Being north Indian we are fond of mumbai and rajasthani food,but were always disappointed wherever we visited but Suryanagri express opened our taste buds. The concept and the food was awesome.We tried maharaja thaali and dal baati choorma.I am sure you will not find the same taste anywhere in UAE.The amazing part is you can order all the dishes without onion garlic.My parents who dont eat onion and garlic were so happy to eat there.
After few weeks one of our friend gave a party in suryanagri express's party hall.All the arrangements were nice and the food was awesome.Also the party hall was spacious.They kept chocolate fountain and gems for kids.We all enjoyed too much.
We checked in dis place once for lunch and it has become a regular visit from then. Every time we are pleased with an amazing dish. The thali’s here are always relished by us. All the chaat items are up to the mark. Special mention for the Pizza varieties served here, THE BEST, I must say. The staffs are very friendly. Overall very much satisfied.

Being away from home , I was craving a lot for Rajasthani food . Searched for a good Rajasthani restaurant on zomato which can satisfy my taste buds . Then came across this restaurant, ordered pav bhaji and maharaja thali . All the dishes in the thaali were excellent and made me feel like home , pav bhaji was served hot and tasted delicious . Uncle and aunty were very nice and humble . Will surely recommend it to all my near and dear ones . Hence I give you guys 5 star ;)

The best rajasthani food. If u miss the authentic rajasthani food this is definately the place to visit. All the items are freshly made. Clean and hygienic place. The owner aunty is very welcoming. My daughter called her dadi (dats how sweet she is). We had the Maharaja thali and a cheese pizza for our daughter. Both of wch were awesome. The gatte ki sabzi, dal baati, churma, bajre ki roti with ghee and gudh were the hits. The other vegetables, chaas, juice, snacks, etc. were good too... later we also ordered the malai gola which was also nice.

Salman Fariz and i were searching in zomato for a good vegetarian restaurant across Sharjah. We tried quite a few until then, but they were so-so. Then, we found this restaurant which has got nice rating in Zomato. Actually, we were in that area couple of time but couldn't locate this restaurant as they have different name outside. Finally, we found this restaurant that had a train on its backdrop that symbolically connects Rajasthan and Mumbai. So obviously, they will cater Rajasthani and Maharashtrian food. Since then, we have been there quite a few times.
Our absolute favorite is ragada pattice. It's basically served as a snack with a thick potato patty in a green peas gravy and sweet /sour chutneys. The original version is good and we can ask them to alter as per our liking.
We tried pav bhaji as well. It tasted authentic with rich flavors. We have to try other versions of pav bhaji as weell.
Our next favorite is paani puri. The puri was very fresh and crispy . Potato filling was mixed with herbs and spices. As a bonus we have green peas gravy and two types of chutneys as well. I could say straight away that its the best paani puri I've had in uae.
We have tried vada paav, masala chai, dhabeli, samosas, mirchi vada and managers thali too. They all are awesome.
Ambience : place is small and in weekdays not fully packed either. They keep everything neat and tidy. Inside is decorated with photos from Mumbai and Rajasthan. Those are neat, but not that over the top either.
Customer interaction : there is an old couple who runs the place, they love to smile. It's earnest, we could feel it. They love to talk and when you've that with nice food it really fills our mind as well as our tummy.
One drawback is, there's a lady, she has a little harsh attitude towards the servers and even though she's smiling at us we could feel that it's artificially made. But she's not always there in the restaurant.
Parking after 9 and on weekends is also a bother.

First and foremost, Achari paneer pizza. Heavily reccomended treat for your mouth.
We had ordered Suryanagri special combo (sharing for 2 persons), which was very tasty and appetite filling considering the unlimited quantity on rice, rotis and curries.
Slight drawback is parking which is difficult during peak times, but for this taste ready to park anywhere.

It was lazy day to go out for lunch for me, but since the wife was insistent on Thali, we decided to visit here! This is our second time to this cosy, yet friendly Rajasthani restaurant and the last time I couldn't write a review for the same reasons I wasn't in the mood for lunch ;).
Uncle Vyas (owner/partner) who hails from Mumbai makes this place really family friendly and homely. He personally ensures the food is well cooked, served fresh and to the liking of the customers.
Their menu is super Indian with a superb touch of Mumbai! We ordered the Suryanagari Special thali, Mumbai Pizza and Chaaj. The thali sabzi variety is good and the kachori served fresh and hot as starters was awesome!
Ambience - Place is decently small. When you are seated, you feel you are at a railway station with the train dabba concept, behind which the kitchen sits. Personally, I like the interiors with pictures of Aamchi Mumbai on one side and the beautiful Jodhpur on the other side! With the entire outside wall of glass, there's a lot of natural light coming in.
Food - Awesome homely food taste, freshly made items make you feel so much at home! I loved the Thali and the pizza, and the halwa and the Chaaj. Fresh chapatis keep rolling in. Sabzi sounds are also unlimited (I think), I took 3 rounds of paneer and daal.
Price - I paid around 55 AED for all this and my stomach can't stop thanking the chef who makes such taste bud tingling food!
Overall, it's a good family joint, with good ambience, food and price. Go give it a try! I'm sure you will not be disappointed.

SuryaNagri express. Interiors themed as if we are really in an Indian Train travelling from Mumbai to Jodhpur with mumbai and jodhpur themed wall on either sides and train in between.
Tasty vegetarian snacks, Chaat and dinner restaurant.
Pav Bhaji, Papdi chaat and Gol gappe were tasty. Mumbai pizza we ordered is a typical indian pizza reminding us being back in india.
Chocolate Samosa was something nice and different that we have seen.

In evening we had pav baji, veg sandwiches and achari pizza all the items we good in taste specially pav baji it's not spicy nor tasteless it was just perfect .

Amul paav bhaaji was supberb, pav was very soft and well done so as delicious Amul butter bhaji.
Thali and chaat will spoil your taste buds and will not let you stop from eating, if I have counted well then almost 22 items, each worth and best.

One of the hidden gems in Sharjah.. Very small Gujarati place.. been there for dinner with family.. not very crowded. The owners were very friendly.
Coming to the food part, Maharajah thali was excellent .. huge verity of subjis. Kadi was remarkably tasty, not to mention everything was just just perfect. even at 10pm the food was very hot and fresh. Just loved the experience.

It’s been a while I am craving for authentic pav bhaji and discovered this hidden gem which is nearby to my home.
They have limited seatings and small space but loved their interior and it’s Train themed cafeteria as their name says Suryanagri Express.
Pav Bhaji along with little butter is good with right amount of spice and flavor. I think this has to be the best Pav Bhaji you get in UAE.
I had there Masala Tea and it was average.
Service was quick since I was the only customer there at evening. I usually see its crowded after 8.
My ratings are 4.5 and I can’t add extra 0.5 in the Zomato app.

Visited today this superb place today. Those who are wondering about this unique name ‘Suryanagari Express’, it’s basically a train which plies between Jodhpur and Mumbai. This is exactly the theme of restaurant. We can experience a variety of dishes from Rajasthan and Mumbai. The interior is very simple yet unique. With a backdrop of pantry of a train one can witness the photos of Mumbai and Rajasthan on the walls facing each other.
We tried Daal baati churma, Bombay cheese sandwich, cheese pav bhajj and Lassi. All the four items were excellent and very tasty. Sandwich and pav bhaji took me back to my good old days in Mumbai.
The quantity is decent and the price is pocket friendly. Service is relatively quick.
The timings of the restaurant is very unique. The breakfast is available on Fri and Sat. Rajasthani specialities are available on Thu to Sat. And on weekdays the restaurant opens at 11.30 am. In my opinion, it is very well thought timings with respect to the cuisines offered on those days and the location of the restaurant.
Overall all it was a great experience and I strongly recommend to visit this place.

Discovered this gem of a restaurant! A small yet well designed place with a backdrop of Indian Train! Has around 5-6 tables to seat families! The menu isn’t vast but has everything from chats to thalis to snacks and even kulfi-faloodas and the very famous ice-golas in variety! Everything is top-notch! Lovely food, freshly prepared to perfection. Feels like dining inside a super fast express. Thali, chaat, sweets and chocolate samosa were simply too good.
Our main food joint .... i do not want to write much .. but we have been taking there Mini samosas to all our gatherings. chaat, pizza, samosha, vada pav ..mirchi vada , all exceptional.... And there thalli is just waooooooooooo.

me and my family has tried their manager and maharaja thali during weekends as well, which is much better then many known names in Dubai and value for money, Train decor specially which makes you feel like back in india, kids simply loved it, soon will be having party for my kids in their party hall which is just at next building, will post soon pics for that as well.
Secluded in the inner skirts of Sharjah, this place turned out to be serving the best Bombay food i’ve tasted in UAE so far.
From options ranging from plan to cheese and cheese grilled for all Bombay items like Dabeli, Pav bhajji, Sandwich etc.
It also did send me down the memory lane, with photos of events in Mumbai, and a background of the Indian railways which has a special fascination for me, since childhood.
Been there with my Filipino girlfriend and she absolutely took a liking for the Pani Pure & Malai Kulfi
Seriously a very nice n home made food.. though service is little late but it's worth to wait for the food served in this restaurant.
