As v placed out order, v were served with grilled bread, vinegar & olive oil mix. V asked for sum butter & were promtly given.
Our main order was Penne (red & spicy), as its name it was spicy enuff. A bit oily, though italian cuisine isn't oily. But the taste was amazing. Freshly made & delivered to the table.

I was surprised by how much I enjoyed the dining experience. The place is almost always empty whenever I passed by but then my friends and I decided to have a try at last.
We ordered portofino waffles, brownie waffle, spicy penne pasta with pink sauce, and creamy fettuccine artichoke pasta.
The waffles were probably the best I've had in Sharjah. Warm, just the right kind of soft and mouth melting. Such a delight to eat good food. The perfect breakfast meal.
The pastas again caught me by surprise. They were creamy, perfectly seasoned, and fresh. What was odd is the restaurant does not carry chilli flakes. Being a Pakistani we like our spice.
The only thing that disappointed was the lack of staff. They had one lonely waitress busy taking selfies, however, she was very polite but preoccupied. I had to walk to the counter and wait a few minutes both times for the waitress to appear.
Excellent friendly customer service. Food freshly prepared and cooked in perfection, we had soup, salad, pizza, pasta and waffle for dessert. We will definitely recommend and come back again.

This is one of the best pasta I have ever had any where! Combine that with the ambience and the service and over all you a have a great experience!
The frittatas are just delectable, especially the turkey one. I wish the staff is a bit more friendly. No matter how good the food on the plate is, if it not greeted by a smile or bare minimum courtesy, it tastes bland.
Portofino patisserie & cafe is a heavenly place for those who loves waffle or have sweet tooth. Combination of hot waffle with cold ice cream is always tempting and mouth watering. Go ahead and give yourself a treat to start the weekend.
It's an extremely interesting concept.. Making pancakes and crepes out of fettuccine.. And if you add buffalo ricotta, oyster mushroom, pesto with truffle oil.. Then the result is even better.. The bacon, and cream cheese pasta was light and tasted better with olive oil.. Great choice of pastry as well..
We entered this italian cafe with low expectation. But the food really surprised us. Though veg pizza we ordered was satisfactory. Spicy penne was the one of its kind and outstanding. Must for all.

Navigate to italy in pirtofini, but unfortunatly finaly you will be back home.
