Threw our friend her bridal shower at the mail room and the service was exceptional! The staff was every bit helpful as expected and the ambience is magic. The food was just as good as it looks. Definitely recommended!

This pastries and frappe were from their sister cafe found along the corniche of Fujairah ( Anchor Cafe ).
Ambience of both cafes are amazing it is comfy like you are just in your home.
Drinks are refreshing and soothing while the staff have a pleasant personality. If you are into cozy places where you can sit, have a coffee, relax and work at the same time then this is the place to be.

I've said this before and I'll say it again: "Muwailih is a treasure trove for coffee lovers." Over the past decade or so, gourmet coffee houses gained footing in the region and the UAE, particularly Sharjah, has been on the forefront of this caffeine infused boom.
Ethiopian, Kenyan, Columbian, Siphon, chemex!!! The origins are plenty and the prep methods are trying to keep up.
It's no longer an apathetic shrug from the waiter when you ask about the bean's origin.
I need coffee the same way a normal human needs water 😂. And a little part of me dies everytime I ask the waiter about the bean's origin and they reply with "I don't know, it's just coffee." 😑
I am definitely glad for this flourishing boom and I am more glad for professional baristas like @zawaya.cafe
Amazingly enough, I rated them exactly a year ago when they came to an alumni event at my university and what do you know, they won the poll I created that day.
So it comes as no surprise that they got this high score today. I'm surprised that it took me a year to actually come visit the shop 😅. My only concern is the price. It can be improved but hey, you want good coffee you pay a good price for it.
Definitely looking forward to coming again.
I ordered a plain ol’ cup of cappuccino. It’s very quiet in the mornings, so it’s a good place to sit back and think while sipping on your morning coffee. The baristas are really helpful. I love the rustic theme of the cafe. If you’re a coffee lover this is the place to go. They serve freshly brewed coffee, there nothing better than that!
Early mornings or whenever Zawaya is a bit quiet, this place is great for studying and finishing off work. The coffee and sandwiches are really good.

My go-to place for coffee before class. Their cold brew is amazing; just what I need in the morning.

I always go to Zawaya and order CORTADO coffee I never tried it before but it’s my FAVORITE now❤️!

One of the best cafes in the UAE, their cold brew is the best. The place design is nice and neat but their sweets are limited. Overall the place was great.
I've been here twice in hopes that my initial experience would get better, but it didn't. Although I love the space and decor, the latte I ordered tasted grainy the first time, and grainy and cold the second time.
Update: went in today and the coffee was better. Not amazing, but better. I also ordered a "coconut pie" bite. Delish!

The place is quiet small but then atmosphere is very lovely, simple yet modern !
I do suggest that management gets more staff since I have been there couple of times and usually in break time from universities when people all head to this place for a good cup of coffee you have to wait more than expected and not enough seating drives customers away ! No place to wait or enough staff to get your order fast enough even for take aways
Since today my hot mocha was served cold !
Which was disappointing but for the love of zawaya l'll go back and hope for this not to happen !
But on serious note , they need more hands !!!

Zawaya Cafe makes the 👏 best 👏 flat 👏 white 👏 in town!! The bubbles, oh, the bubbles! I am absolutely in love with this place. The sofas are comfy and there's loads of reading/activity/coloring books. It kept my toddler busy while I enjoyed my coffee. MAJOR thumbs up.
