I liked the Mutton biryani, beef fry, parotta and chicken gravy, and main is the karak chaiya. I will never forget this restaurant.. And if I get time I will surely visit this again. Visited this restaurant for the first time. Authentic south indian dish. Ordered kuthu noolu puttu, taste was amazing , ambiance in not so good & even the staff was not paying attention to customers.Parking is bit a issue in this area, but it is a pocket friendly restaurant. South Indian food lovers living in al nahda are can try this restaurant.

I’ve been a regular customer until a few minutes ago. Not anymore. I’ve ordered for a lime juice with salt and they gave me a juice with sugar. I was on keto diet and they spoiled mine. When asked, they started accusing me of lying and whatever I said went through deaf ears. I’m 100% sure that I have ordered a salted on and my friend was beside me when I ordered. Not gonna order from Al madhi anymore.

One of the Best Mutton Biryani and Fish curry I have ever tasted in Sharjah. And the staff is also so nice. I always love this restaurant for food.

A place available 24 hours. Good for people working round the clock . Dishes are prepared as per the clock. Affordable for all. Love the south indian style food.

We used to order food from this restaurant and it was good up to yesterday..<br/>But todays experience was very disgusting.. I have ordered egg chilly fry and received egg Burji.. when I asked Al madhi team, response was totally unacceptable.. As per them egg burji and egg chilly is same..<br/>And how they responded is like I did something wrong..<br/>How they treated me as a customer is very rude..<br/>

Beef roast is very good and apart from that fresh milk tea i liked it.. It's good resturant to visit sometime with ur friends. I usually go when I wanna have some taste from South India. They are also serve fish in different varieties.. I liked this king fish it was good enough to fullfil ur Indian fish desires..

Got home delivery from this place for dinner. Ordered a Madhi special vegetable curry, Gobi Manchurian gravy, iddiyappam and some Pappad. All the items tasted great and delivery was quick. Cheers!

I always order Chicken fried Biryani from here and it is a good biryani. They do home delivery as well and their service is very good as well

I have ordered a couple of breads from this restaurant to go with the curries and fries my mates were cooking. It was a festive kind of mood with three of my mates in the kitchen and they were cooking fish, mutton and a special stew. This restaurant told me that they do not prepare parcels if there is no curries in it. They 'cannot' parcel just bread. One bread costs 1-2 dirhams and I wanted for 6 of us. I was perplexed. I went to the next restaurant and they happily sold me the bread for 15-20 dirhams.

A friend from kerala introduce me to this restaurant and since then i am hook, one of my favorite Indian restaurant in this part of sharjah...

Awesome mutton byriani. The quantity is more sufficient and more for a one person. The taste is very delicious and mouth watering. The mutyon is very juicy and u get an egg too with it.

Amazing food as always and delivery 20 minutes so from my side 5 stars they make sure you get paapad achaar and dahi along with biryaani i used to order dinner when i was close to them 2012 to 2015 u guys are doing a great job

Ambient place, proper hygiene maintaining. The Egg 🥚masala I ordered is different taste than I ate with other restaurants. Egg masala is made with beans which tastes good. Wheat chapati is little thicker, can be improved by making thin. Reasonable price.

Ordered their chicken Dum Biryani and found it just ok and less of spice . The ambiance is also ok moreover after finishing the meal just peeped in their kitchen and found it very dirty . Will not go there again

I eat from Al Madhi almost 2-3 times a week as i regularly visit my friends who stay near by.<br/>Well, the food is good and at a very reasonable & affordable rate. But the most admirable part is it's 5⭐ service provide by the staff. A quick response level, attentive to their customers' needs and always with a positive smile..<br/>Fridays, are the best as their Biryani at lunch is not just "Wow" but "Finger-Licking" tasty too. They have a great variety of cuisine but majorly strong on their South Indian cuisine.<br/>Please do drop in on Fridays to taste it.<br/>Thanks.

Ordered chicken fry biryani from here. Quick delivery. They even asked me to choose the kind of chicken piece I want. Friendly staff. Chicken seemed a bit dry but it good.

Good service. Friendly staff . I normally go for the breakfast to catch the dosai meal. Considerably good portion. Good value for money. Other food is ok. If u use the family room upstairs u get a great service .. overall a good place with ok food. Not bad to have in your day-to-day dine options.

Happened to call for their Chef's special - Chicken Dum Biryani which was not really out of the world but a tastier version of a typical kerala biryani. Doubt would call again since there are better places to call from around.

I've eaten from Madhi a few times since I used to regularly visit a friend who stayed right next to the place. She used to be a huge fan of their biryani, but I did not like it much. It was a tad bit too oily and lacked masalas and was too bland. I've also had their parotta rolls and they're decent. The food is very budget friendly though, and they have quick delivery, so that's a positive.

Very good chicken biryani! Affordable and reasonable. Their Al Mahdi special is a must try. Food always delivered hot even though sometimes they have delays. <br/>Appams are good. Wheat Dosa is good. Beef dishes are tasty but spicy so when ordering one has to mention the level of spice they need.

A great restaurant with a good staff. Let it be delivery or dine in the service is excellent and the most important thing is the food quality that is awesome and definitely gives you a feel that someone has made it from their heart and with love.<br/><br/>Have been ordering from this restaurant for the past 4 years and they have never disappointed me in what ever I order and the best thing is they always have option if something isn't available. I know this Resturant since came to dubai 2008, we always prefer breakfast and on weekends mutton briyani or lunch meal ..... still they continue to give the same food with little changes in management for some time..... cheap and beat entry in Sharjah Alnahda

Very near our home but only recently got food from there. My mistake should have gone sooner coz i love their biryani. We were getting tired of our usual haunts and this place has (officially) my fave biryani of late.<br/>The dum biriyani that is. Have tried the chicken fry biryani and the beef biryani. Both just average. Won't be buying in a hurry again.<br/>The dum biriyani is really good. Yummy succulent chicken pieces in flavour full rice. A great fave at home and my rating is based just on this.<br/>Must mention that their packaging is good.<br/><br/>Edited to add that their porotta and chicken fry are also very tasty.

They used to be good but has gone downhill since. As a vegetarian who includes egg in my diet, options are limited. I remember last Sept, their dosa for breakfast was very good, now it is poor - looks worn out when we receive it. Egg biryani has tiny bits of chicken pcs as they use the same gravy mix as the chicken biryani so for those vegetarians who eat egg, take this off your options, same story with paneer butter masala. Most vegetarian dishes are average or below average, really not worth no matter how cheap it is. This evening, I ordered egg noodles, it was the worst ever.  I spoke to them politely about it but I know nothing will change as we have mentioned the same about chicken pcs or bone pcs on their egg biryani, paneer butter masala and nothing has changed. They act surprised when you mention. <br/><br/>The good - Omlet Paratha Roll with chillis, Paratha. I am sure a good place for non-vegetarians. They are generally quick for home deliveries and use good packaging.

This place is again close to my house serving Kerela cusine I have tried a few veg dishes like dal tadka, chana masala and mix veg but nothing could really impress me the only advantage is they operate 24 hrs so even at odd times one can expect food.

Al Madhi restaurant is near to my house. I frequently order food from here. Delivery is very quick. Never experienced any delay in delivery. Food is nice.

Taste is good but quantity of gravy was very less for two people.Need to improve in that.Delivery was quick.Appam was also not very satisfactory. .Overall not bad.

Had ordered some north indian food but was delivered it in south indian touch. It was fun to eat chicken moghlai with rai and curry leaves. Good fusion but not as per everybody's taste. Moghlai meaning pure rich gravy cooked in north indian style. <br/>But I liked it, was tired of eating the regular stuff.<br/><br/>Even Egg curry was purely south indian style. I thoroughly enjoyed it but my family found it a bit different. Appam and chapattis are good too.<br/><br/>So guys bring the originality and u r on...cheers!

it is of different taste than my taste buds but diversity is always welcomed.. i like the the food.. chicken fry birayni was different thing to try but it felt good taste.. let's see if get a chance to try something new next time

We had ordered their hyderabadi chicken biryani and chicken fry for dinner. The Hyderabadi biryani was excellent but the catch....it was NOT authentic hyderabadi style. The chicken crispy fry we ordered was decent. Delivery time was a little over 45 minutes.

Quite liked their Hyderabadi Biriyani in South Indian style and Mushroom paneer Masala. Actually average for a cafeteria as small as this. They also have a paratha roll which is pretty tasty as well.

Yummy biriyani it is. Perfect blending of evenly cooked rice and chicken masala. It reminds you of the traditional malabar biriyani which you get in kannur and thalassery region. Payasam was nice with right amount of sweetness. Chammandhi was nice.. May be if it's lil more thick it would have tastier. <br/>Definitely would try more of thier dishes.

This review is based on the take-out meal. <br/><br/>Having lived in Al Nahda for 8 years, this was one of those restaurants that I used to order from quite frequently - and it was the same order as well - Beef Chilly Fry. It's one of my absolute favorites since the beef is well marinated and well cooked. It is slightly spicy and has a nice crispy coating to it as well. The gravy that comes along with this dish goes well with porotta. Overall, the porrota, beef chilli fry and the gravy made it one finger licking good meal..

This Restaurant can be defined as a success story. When I first moved to Al Nahda 10 years ago, Al Madhi was humble restaurant serving pretty good South Indian fare at very reasonable prices. Over time, it has added a second storey, been refurbished and most recently, purchased the small shop next door, and turned it into a kitchen for its ever increasing consumer base. This ofcourse, was combined with a major refurbishment. They also added a Tandoor and other equipment to broaden their menu.<br/><br/>As expected, there has been a direct impact of these expansions and overhauls on the prices which have steadly climbed upwards. Sadly though, the impact on quality has been inverse as mass cooking and revenue mulitplication has resulted in lower quality meals, smaller portions and unwelcome ingredients.<br/><br/>Now, I visit this place mainly for breads. Once upon a time, its Chicken 65 and Fish Curry used to be my go-to take out meal.

A decent place for food kerala food. Had porota and meen pollichathu, and it tasted good too. The bill wasn't very heavy. Overall, a decent place for good food.

One my best regular restaurant I visit as it is very near, cheap and best place to have super good dinner, I love the flavour and the chicken variety. As it is open 24hrs we can get any time hot fresh food.

Superb Biryani, and Mashroom Chilli , too good and spicy love it, spicy eater may like it, but no doubt the biryani any time u can go they are open till 3 am. Mornings the open at 5 am, their meals also good quantity and good value to taste and price.

Chicken Fry Biryani... I love it. I wish they have a branch in Dubai. Driving to Sharjah traffic just to satisfy my biryani craving is really worth it with this place.

Hope the management will change the way they making food with these artificial colors and chemicals. Why your using this much masalas? If you have these food regularly your stomach will get upset. Not a good choice for healthy food.

Try only Biriyani its good. Other foods are not good for health, using more artificial colors and ajinamoto and more masalas.  Not a good choice for regular.

I ordered Chicken fried biryani, it was good in taste. In this area i found it better than others . Most of the places biryani is not good in Al nahda area.

Im from calicut and i know what malabar biriyani is like,this restaurant is awesome in making biriyani.i think even salkara wont match its taste.

Best for Thalassery Dum Biryani (Malabar Biryani)..  The quantity is large and tastes superb....They even serve a soup for all before the main dish.. <br/><br/>other dishes are ok...

I ordered dum biryani and mutton roast today from this place. The cook here should either learn how to cook biryani and mutton roast or give these two dishes some other name.<br/>The biryani was as bland as one could imagine, as if the cook made a special effort to cook it tasteless. I am a banker by profession but I can cook much better biryani than this.<br/>The mutton roast was hard as rock and dark as tartar. I actually declared a war against the roast to separate the meat from the bone.<br/>My mistake that I ordered from this place just to get a quick food delivered.<br/>Needless to say that I will never ever order from here again in my life.

The service you receive can depend on the waiter who serves you. The waiter who attend Family section for dinner time is very helpful and always serves with a smile. Every time I went with my wife for dinner we were served well and the food is delicious. The staff who wait downstairs are not bad but they can do well with a little training. Out of Dishes Dhal Ghosh, Fish Thawa, Aloo Palak, Chicken Tikka are some of the best dished I have tried anywhere.<br/><br/>The soup they serve Free of charge before dinner is delicious and the Green Chilly Coconut Chutney is Awesome.<br/><br/>And two people can easily dine in for around 30 Dhs.<br/><br/>ONLY conmplain, I wish the place is bit cleaner than it currently looks.

I have to admit, I haven't tried everything on offer at Al Madhi. What I can say is that their Dum Biryani is probably the best I've had anywhere. that's not to say their other dishes are bad. On the contrary almost everything I've tried at this restaurant tastes delicious. This place is almost always crowded. Which is one of the signs that the food must be good. Prices are reasonable, excellent food, though the service is sometimes lacking due to the sheer numbers of people eating at the restaurant at any given time. I thoroughly recommend everyone to go try this place.
