Ample space, good ambience, good service. variety of kerala foods including street delicacies like kulukki sarbath. Their chicken biriyani is average. Keral thali is good. paratha is also good. recommended
Tried their chicken sizzler, which was quite tasty but they can improve by adding some add ons like mash potatoes / french fries etc. it will compliment the sizzler very well. Chicken tikka masala is also decent and the portion size is good. Parathas too go well with the gravy. Also tried their Falooda for dessert, quantity is huge but its a little too sweet for my taste. All in all good place to dine in.
Washrooms have a serious issue with cockroaches and needs to be dealt with asap!!
Guys, believe me the test was just fantastic!!!! My kids loved it . food lovers you must try you will not regret I'm sure. Staff was very supportive and guided me on my zomato gold offer 1+1
We ordered mutton dum biriyani and chicken dum biriyani. Mutton is fresh and good tasty. But oil/ghee was little more. I advice them to reduce it. There is party hall the capacity of around 150 peoples.
If you are searchinh for real taste of thalassery Biriyani Malabar regency is the best option, their prsentation of food in a bamboo bowl is very attractive. we had try their Beef roast and butter chixken all are very tasty and afgirdable price.
Love this place for indian foods, Nice ambiance and good service , busy tables on weekends better visit on week days for calm & quite dine in experience. Food was very delicious.

A special touch to Malabar food!
We visited Malabar Regency in Abu Shagara, Sharjah on a weekday evening. The restaurant is spacious and also has a hall and stage for parties, with a capacity of 150 to 200 people. They serve South Indian and North Indian food as well as international cuisines.
We tasted only the South Indian dishes.
Here is a review of what we tasted:
1. Beverages:
Mint mojito - It was a lovely green color; Blue lagoon - it was a beautiful blue.
Both beverages were served chilled and were refreshing. They were presented well but can be improved a bit on taste.
2. Prawn coconut fry: It was served hot. It had a balance of South Indian flavors and was tempered with red chillies and curry leaves. The prawns were fresh and the coconut pieces were crunchy.
3. Chicken sizzler: It was served sizzling hot on a griddle. The quantity was very large, so it must be shared. The chicken was tender and spicy.
4. Fish moilee: This fish curry in coconut milk was very tasty and went well with the soft appams.
5. Beef coconut fry: The masala was superb! It tasted typically South Indian.
It was tempered with red chillies and curry leaves.
6. Chicken chambatta: This was another delicious dish - the chicken was tender and tasty. It was served with a spicy fried egg on top.
7. Parathas: Kerala parathas and wheat parathas - both were soft and tasty.
8. Thalassery chicken biryani: It was a tasty biryani - not too spicy. It was served with papad, raita and pickle.
9. Desserts:
The mixed falooda was very heavy as it consisted of 4 scoops of ice cream. It has to be shared.
The sizzling brownie with mango icecream was very tasty. The chocolate sauce was smooth.
The prices are reasonable and the quantity served is large.
The staff is polite and friendly; Mr. Varghese was a good host. The ambience is pleasant. Paid parking is available in the parking lot across the restaurant.

Pothichoru - there are days when u feel home sick and crave for scrumptious food with home flavour ! On one of such days , I had this huge craving for Pothichoru ! Very few restaurants here have Pothichoru in their menu . I chose to go with this restaurant after going through their good reviews . I am happy that I dint go wrong ! It was hell of a Pothichoru , simply yumm ! It had an omellette and a fish fry along with sambar , olan achar n payasam . Normally i avoid having payasam from restaurants for most of them have free supply of cardamom and they use it generously in payasams but man these guys had sent parippu payasam and its one of the best i have had ever ! Must try ! Only one small suggestion would be to give choice of fish that one would want in the pothi . Mathi( Sardine ) is not a friend of mine
Keep it up
We hosted our daughter’s Bday party there and it was a fabulous experience for us as well as the guests. The party hall was neat and spacious. The decorations and programs arranged by Karthik and team ( Rainbow Events) were excellent. Food was fairly good and fresh. The welcome starters (chicken lollipop and spring roll) were awesome. Biriyani was a real winner. We recommend Malabar Regency for hosting parties and get together. The desserts were not up to the expectation.
Malabar Regency – South Indian cuisine is one of the best in terms of right amount of spices and flavours. Recently I tried Malabar Regency which is located in Sharjah. We simply loved the food. We started with MIX GRILL PLATTER the right amount of spices. and types were simply amazing. HAMOUR GRILL is a big whole fish marinated and
First try at the restaurant , ordered kerala traditional paratha and southern duck curry , the taste was fabulous especially the crispyness of paratha which other parcels lacks . The delivey was also panctual . Need not to think more giving 5 star rating .
Located in Abu Shagra , Sharjah lies Malabar Regency restaurant which serves continental cuisine but as the name suggests caters to your South Indian cravings. Ample of tables available for diners with a subtle and decent ambiance. They also provide party hall which is adjacent to the restaurant. The hall can accommodate 150 guest and price differs as per your selection of menu.

Biriyani & other rice items are good. But curries are not that much tasty, still it's quantity is worth for the price. Overall restaurant ambiance is very good and attractive. Friendly staffs.
So we’ve ordered twice from here and the food was good both times. We’ve tried their kozhi nirachathu ( a whole chicken roasted with delicious kerala masala along with an egg) and their fried rice and crispy chili chicken. Our dine-in experiences were good as well, and the food presentation is commendable.
Order came on time and even before the said time
All the dishes are delicious and worth buying and very affordable
Worth visiting place even.
The best biriyani in Sharjah. evry body must try. We have tried their sizzler brownie also, really yummy. Royal ambiance, Good service and nice staffs.
Tried a couple of times. Found the food to be in par with top standards. Friendly and supportive staff. Delicious cuisines at competitive rates. Its a must try, if you stay in Sharjah or nearby areas. Loved the taste. Two thumbs up!!!
Tried this restaurant recently..the food was good .ordered biriyani...perfectly done ..all the flavours were there ..neither too spicy nor overly done..recommend to all..
A place with good ambience for family dining. Food was really fresh and tasty. Nice flavours. Wheat poratta was very good. Portion size and price is good.
Malabar Regency boasts of really good malayalee food in Sharjah and they have really good curries and rice dishes. I'm quite impressed with their tawa fish fry and their sizzler. The ambience is nice and the decor is regal yet not overly grand which pleases me.
I love it . Tasty food and happy people awsome service, every time it's like the first time, super clean, very comfortable place for your Eye and Tummy.. Att
Chicken bryani and falodah is a must you will not regret it.........
Best biriyani in Town. had a chance to visit this place with friends and really happy with their food quality, taste and presentation. We have tried Biriyani, no doubt my favourite, dragon chicken in sizzler plate Butter nan etc.. And finally sizzler brownie really yummy...Good sftaffs and service.
Malabar Regency Located at the very heart of Sharjah, this place will not disappoint! Their extensive menu caters to guests of all preferences, ranging from Indian to Arabic to Chinese. We opted for the Dragon Chicken, Kung Pao Chicken and Oriental Fish for starters. The Dragon Chicken was served as a sizzler and was bursting with flavor.
For grills, we had their mixed grill and chicken tikka plate which was seasoned and cooked to perfection. Highly recommended. Their bread selection was wide but their paratha stood out the most, very soft yet crispy.
Their falooda is served very generously with delicious scoops of ice creams and toppings but my favorite was their sizzling brownie which is topped with choco lava and is very decadent.
It was a great experience, one of its kind. Mr Varghese, the manager, ensures a personalized experience for all guests with a smile on his face. Very welcoming ambience and even better food. Must visit!
Last week visited this restaurant with family and really impressed with the quality and taste of food they served. Place was crowded still they provide good service and attention to the customers. Overall very nice experience
Recently try this place and very impressed with their service and food presentation. Food taste and quality also very good. Have to try more items soon.
Hello,
I have been to the restaurant and also order on Zomato many a times.
I would like to share one experience from jan-19. I had order a grill Hamour and when the fish was served it was not fresh and we informed the same to the staff. They took it back without any ?? and it was not charged on the bill. The staff was good and cooperative.
I love the Chinese starters of this place.
Good ambiance.
Thanks.
Kozi nirachathe was well cooked, tasty and superb..
It would be nice if you add porotta or any other flat bread with it,as it is a nice combo...
A real multi cuisine restaurant to taste North induan and south induan dishes especially their thalassery biriyani is very delecious. Nice staffs anf good ambience.
