One of the best, i would say "Gareeb ka fine dine" so far in Al Ain.. The Ambience was so welcoming and beautuful... the dishes wer well prepared and was tasty.. but if u r famished then you have to wait for long.. but its ok as they serve a good amount of complementary Appetizers... i would definitely go once again all the way from AUH to Al Ain just to have their food...
Amazing authentic Indian restaurant is what I want to describe this restaurant in the very first place. Beautifully maintained interior and ambience.. Loved the place for its open seating arrangements. Though food is good, the time they take to serve is something you cannot forgive when you are hungry..
Excellent place for authentic Indian food. The gravy, breads and the salads...all yummy. Loved the lassi too. They even gave us complementary gulab jamun to end the feast. Special mention - the staff were excellent. Overall a must visit place. Nice ambience too. Will visit again.
Awesome food, Great service, Comfy ambience and Reasonable prices.
Extra points for the unexpected tasting session, with bits of naan and multiple sides, during the time you wait for your order.
It was indeed a surprise :-) wanted to have a calm new years 1st dinner and surely we were very happy with the experience at Indian Curry Restaurant. As we choose to sit out and enjoy the pleasant evening and our order started filling the table I knew we made the right decision to stop by this hidden Gem on our way back to Abu Dhabi. I would hardly take pics of the food as it was over sooner than we thought😍. From soup, tandoori chicken to veg sheikh kebabs and without fail the Kunafa Cream all made our dinner memorable :-). The ambience and service was definitely a highlight as well.
I have always loved eating their combo options. You get to taste much of their curries and biryani. Would recommend their Dal, bbq, biryani and all the other curriesmay it be vegetarian or not. I don't like the taste of butter chicken. May be its just me as it was to cfeamy flavored for me...
A perfect case of never judge a book by its cover !!! Going by the pics and menu and pricing is a sure way to judge this place from the get go but be ready to be left stunned !!! On a budget trip to Al Ain we dropped into this restaurant and even double checked the menu to see if the pricing was right (as that was top priority). We were left stunned with the fine dining ambience and the sheer quality of the food. Contemporary Indian food but definitely and easily the best tasting Indian food in the UAE I’ve had !! Kudos to the restaurant and it’s management and team. The Butter Chicken was creamy and just the right amount. The Mutton Rogan Gosht too was superb with the meat being succulent juicy and tender. Very well cooked! The chicken Dum biriyani was great and you could feel the freshness of the rice marinated in the spices. A nice touch was the trio of dal makhani, butter chicken gravy and chicken curry gravy with shredded paratha as a complimentary starter. The Kunafa too was fantastic and surprisingly so especially since it’s Indian Cuisine they specialise in but nevertheless an unforgettable experience! Will definitely come back here again and make the drive from Dubai as it’s well worth it ! The staff too were courteous, friendly and very helpful!!!

The restaurant I had visited yesterday with my brother and friend, as this is my second visit to this restaurant, first time I did not had good experience, after 6 months back this visit i realized they have improved a lot. Most of the crowd is local people as the name of the restaurant ( Indian curry). After searching a lot we finally ended up with this restaurant .
We order kadai paneer, butter naan, and biryani. They served the food with papad and three type of gravi to taste and the small roti. That's really impressive for us. Based on that we can select the main- course.
Kadai paneer- really good and make fresh
Butter Naan- this is the first time i had such a testy naan in UAE and the size of the naan was too big, enough for one person.
Briyani- was ok,
The price of the food quite expensive, however, worth to go once a month.
Especially the location of the restaurant was amazing.
Thx
In a city where there aren't many places to go have Indian food, this place is a delight. The food actually tastes good, the staff is very friendly and the ambiance isn't bad either.
Ordered a couple of things and they all tasted actually good.
The only bad thing is that it's a little dark if you sit inside.
A nice restaurant with good eating and sitting options. This restaurant is in park with next to children play area. Ideal for people visiting jabal hafeeth
Excellent food. Especially the butter chicken. Rotis are big. Tandoori was not that good. Tasted old. The three things they give in the entree is extremely tasty. That fills you up.
Have been here once in the past.
Located within a small promenade/walkway. Ambiance is great!! Mainly seating areas for families and smaller groups. Great interiors.
Food is good. Above average. Takes a long time to get your order on the table.
Tried the chicken biriyani.. 3.5/5
Food 3.5/5
Staff 3/5 (Needs repeated reminders regarding requests)
Ambiance 4.5/5
Overall experience 3.5/5
Chances of returning 75% (if i am in the location!!)
believe it or not that this indian restaurant make one of the yummiest pastas out there, they’re a bit fatty but tastes so good. I love their potato wedges with their special cheese sauce it’s soooo delicious. never and ever think about eating fish there, my mom got poisoned because of their fish biryani. but in general the place is great for a family dining out.
Located at a beautiful and calm place. You could dine in the restaurant and take a leisurely walk in the date park. Mixed seafood tandoori platter and chicken tikka biriyani is high up in the pecking order for me. My first choice, in Al Ain that is, if I am craving for north Indian cuisine.
The best place for a dine out experience in Al Ain. Nice food, reasonable menu. Weekend barbecue is amazing. The set up and the staff looks elegant and adds that sense of royalness to the well served food. I loved the "Free starter of curries with bread and papad", which was amazing to check their flavour. The adjacent garden space gives it an ideal hang out family place where one can dine and kids could get playing in the adjacent open park.
Go foodies, try out!!
One of my colleagues happened to recommend this place saying that it was close to where my site was and that the food was good.
I tried the place today. The following were my observations;
The location is secluded which sort of gives you the feeling that your google maps malfunctioned.
Omce you're there, the setting is quite pleasant. Very different from what you generally see. A lot of emphasis on customer privacy apparently!
The staff is prompt and quite active.
Coming to the food... I ordered for butter chicken, naan and mango lassi.
The butter chicken is probably one of their specialities (assuming this from the small sample platter that they provide) and hence the taste is also quite yum.
The naan is a total disaster. How difficult is it to cook an authentic naan in this country?!! Normally I find restaurants serving tandoori rotis dunbed as naans. Here they went one step ahead and created an enormous Malabar paratha!!..
The mango lassi was quite good.
All foods are decently priced but this is not your daily lunch restaurant unless you earn a handsome amount.
Overall I think the place does a good job... If I go picking the faults this space may not be sufficient.
I might visit again but I'm definitely not ordering naan!
I prefer this place among all indian rests in town, they have such a warm outdoor seating plus their indoors and welcoming too.
You can have one of the best tandoori chicken here plus dal makhni.i really enjoyed and definitely I will visit again for dal makhni.even service is great.
Overall it's a good restaurant. I think the portions are big; more than I expected. The tandoori was sooooo good; and the others were just normal. The prices are okay except the juices are kind of expensive compared to the quality and the quantity. Finally, Stunning service!!
Update:
Still amazing!
I love this resturant. Suitable for couples and families or even for you and your friends. Whats good there is the chicken butter. Staff can get busy couple of time and not get there soon to you as you wish but at the end theyre food is good. I recommend it.
The venue of this restuarant is probably what like most. Indoor and outdoor seating areas are available, the family booths/room gives you a nice private seating area. The menu options are very extensive.
On weekends they have a bbq station, the bbq prawns are delightful. Food is consistent.
Firm favourites are the variety of Naan, butter chicken , prawn and fish dishes.
Amazing food! Amazing staff! Amazing ambiance! I do not know how to fully describe my experience here other than saying it was amazing! On the practical side this place is relatively expensive. However, it is well worth the money!
Lovely place and ambience -
Food is too lovely
Just a bit far from city
But a lovely place in alain to have North Indian food -
.......
A very nice Indian restaurant we discovered in Al Ain. Spacious with the option of dining outside as well. The staff were very friendly and immediately explained the specials for the evening. We had the chicken tikka, the mutton seekh kebab, chicken tikka masala, and mutton Korma with butter and garlic naans. Good portions and very tasty. Keep up the good work!
Nice Indian restaurant in Al ain , with good tasty food and nice ambience and friendly staff.... The quantity of food they serve is just fine ...I feel they should work on their vegetarian dishes . Overall good experience ....
Good ambient and service. We had a great day enjoying in Al ain doing adventure and end of the day all of us group of 17 ppl (adult and children) are tied and hungry.
But on a simple request the staff gave a good service from arranging tables at superb location but also served with complementary stater (small nans and portion of energetic dal and sabji).
Food is also great and the nice place to dine Inn.
Excellent ambience and excellent food wirh a friendly staff really makes you feel special. I have been here a pup me of days back and today drove from Dubai for dinner.
The butter chicken with Khazana grill butter naan with a mango lassi is the best. Finally have Kunafa with an ice cream. Surely a recommended restaurant next time you are in Alain.
Love the taste.. Good prices.
They just need to add more hot drinks just as karak and turkish coffee or arabic coffee.
But the most delicious plates they have are chicken butter and beryani. There nan bread with butter is the best in town.
This restaurant is situated in the dessert of Al Ain. You can actually see the desert moon from the place where you sit. A part of it is a private room and a section is in the open desert where you can see the entire Jabel Hafit from the hotel with a live bbq.
Since we were with family we chose to take a private section as it was very cold. We ordered chicken tikka, butter chicken , dal makhani and dum biryani. I loved every bit of it. Chicken tikka had pieces of appropriate sizes, butter chicken was full of cream and butter with right amount of sweetness and spices. I didn't have dal makhani but the smell was lovely. The biryani had fluffy rice which was well cooked and yummy
All in all I had a great time 👌
it similar to caesars and emirates palace indian restaurants .. i think its the only indian one in here. the food is good and quite nice. i enjoy it.
i dislike the beryani rice has too much oil !!
not a good quality choice ...
One of the
best restaurants in Al Ain that i have visited till now especially doe Dinner
times. The location is also good around the corniche area so you can have a
good dinner and take a good walk around too.
Ambience :
Very Good / Food Taste : Amazing.
The appetizers
that they give are delicious. The Naan along with a few curries. The Chicken Butter
Masala out here is really amazing plus they have good kebabs too.
Do try the Veg Hara Bhara Kabab. Its delicious
Excellent location, surrounded by greenery and mountain in background, bit outside city but on the highway road. We ordered vegetarian food. The food was nice and staff courteous.
Small and nice place for Indian Cuisine, food was ok good but not superb, ambience beautiful, service good, the starter was the best as it serves Rotis and in a small quantity some Makhanwala n Makhi Dal curries, the Pickled Onions were spicy n the chutney too, V ordered for Biryani which was ok, Kadai Chicken nit at all spicy and some mixed Kebab Plater, overall the food was ok n for its price, and quantity.
we will like to inform all off guest who visit in India curry restaurant .now we have new menu to for new winter hope you all of visit an tell as for about new menu ...
Came here for my friend's birthday treat. Place is really good with outdoor and indoor seating. Would be nice to watch a football match here. At night there is a faint view of the Jabel Al Hafeet at a distance. Anyway, I really like the pinacolada here. The bites they give to nibble is pretty neat too. They give us naan pieces with sides of bitter chicken, dal and veg korma. Haven't seen this kinda started anywhere.
The main course, I really liked the Chicken biryani and the butter chicken.
The place is good, can't give a review based on the cost, but the food is really good!
4/5
For people who like to sit out, relax and enjoy a proper multi course dinner, this is the place to be.. away from the city, lot of open space , surrounded by nature and I am yet to start on their food.. try the Dal Makhani.. my favourite. And best of all its consistent. . Have been here multiple times and everytime it's been a joy.. After food walk around with family in the park next to it.. excellent.
Pros:
-Food tastes good and the appetizers are quite nice.
-Staff are very friendly.
-Nice decore.
Cons:
-Very limited space. In the whole resturant there are only like 6 tables. Also only one bathroom (1 male, 1 female). I reccomend you give them a call before you bring your family/friends.
-Meals are not very satisfying size wise. They need to put more rice.
One of my favorite restaurants in Alain... I have tried most of their menu and never complained about something. But sometimes slow in service.
Overall experience in this restaurant is very good. Food tastes good, nice ambience and good place to spend dinner time. It has private closed dinning rooms as well as dinning tables along side of the lawn. I highly recommend u to visit once and I can guarantee that you will visit again.
Personally i prefer this place among all indian rests in town, they have such a warm outdoor seating plus their indoors and welcoming too.
You can have one of the best Dal makhnis here plus for a twist they serve pasta too and surprisingly its really good!!
Indian cuisine has become my favorite cuisine because of this restaurant, I highly recommend the butter chicken masala with biryani rice, or the chicken curry with added heat and the sweet corn and chicken soup~
