Famous, popular, and delicious Lebanese restaurant under the arcades in Moaji district - great grilled meats, smoke rising up high above the buildings; fresh salads and juices; and a roaring shawarma trade. Take-away is usually busy, with cars blocking the road out front (park behind, there’s always place). Upstairs there’s a large seating area, complete with waterfall, and also with family section. Good lunch deals, too.
Me and my better half went to Al Mallah in AlMuwaiji area. We ordered Shrimp Stew, Garlic Lebnah and a Chicken and Hummous shawarma platter.
As a starter you get a very generous serving of olives, pickles and a green salad. It's a nice experience and sort of reminds you of home when you are handed a knife and uncut vegetables :)
The lebnah comes with crispy dried baked bread, allowing you to use the bread as a spatula. We enjoyed the lebnah with the fresh bread too but this twist of the crispy bread almost of the texture of crackers was enjoyable experence too.
For us the winner of the night was the Shrimp stew. A very generous portion , very simply made with onions and tomatoes. Very nicely treated shrimps and just a pure, simple taste explosion. An awesome dish, we would be coming back just for this stew.
The shawarma platter was good too, but we were just blown away by the shrimps Stew :)

On the strip where this restuarant is there are a good few Arabic places to eat at. This has to be the best of them.
Food is well priced and portions are good.
The halloumi sandwich is a firm favourite with my kids. I like the lamb chops or mix grill platter.
The schwarmas are excellent and make a good take away when you're in a rush.
I tried their meat shawerma. Honestly, one of the best I have had lately. It was perfectly done as the meat was well done with a good blend of other ingredients. Just enjoyed it.....
7 Feb 2018 - Tried their Hummos with Meat. The quantity was huge with a lot of mutton pieces, tasty and fresh. The pickles are as well of high quality and salad was fresh with a lot of varieties. The aervice and ambiance of the place is excellent. Just a superp place.
Amazing, I just had a meal there "stuffed lamp daily meal" came with yogurt and lentil soup. Ordered fattosh, everything was great, big amount of food, fast service. Recommended

It was good.
Then tried the breakfast in the restaurant itself ( Arabic breakfast with falafel, hummus and eggs) and turned out to be delicious with reasonable prices.
