We ordered Pasta, chicken Sandwich and Chocolate Lava cake with ice cream. Pasta was good. Chicken Sandwich was just amazing to describe it. I am definitely coming back here for the Chicken sandwich.

The desert are the thing that would best describe this place. In love with an amazingly crafted desert menu, tried the chocolate lava cake and the fondue. Good ambience, super friendly staff & an excellent desert menu to choose from. This is my getaway for sweet tooth.

Popped in for a quick desert and was quite surprised to see their comprehensive menu. Settled on the Chocolate Lava Cake and Brownie Sundae plus coffees. Service is sharp and professional. Interior beautifully decorated and the deserts were fabulous. Looking forward to having a proper meal here next time.
I like the hot chocolate that they serve, you can request to the staff to make it thicker to fully enjoy it while admiring the view of the coast or while relaxing in their cozy designed resto. The staff are friendly and responds quickly to your needs. (especially Rhoda 😉). I hope they will increase their serving size to compensate to their pricey menu. But overall it was excellent. 👍🏻

In food and beverage industry here in Qatar, you will only find few chocolate restaurants. Yes! We have a lot of coffee shops that serve chocolate frappes and sweets. There are also chocolate shops but they only serves chocolate desserts. So how about combining the two? A restaurant that serves lots of chocolate in crepe, waffle and drinks. Well, Alison Nelsons Chocolate Bar is the answer.
Chocolate Bar is located at The Pearl. It has an indoor and outdoor seating. The interior of the restaurant is very relaxing in the eyes because of its white themed furniture. The white sofa compliments with the colorful pillows on the couches. Also, I love the place because it has a wide window where in even if you are inside, you can still see the beautiful view of Marina Bay. It is a perfect place to take photo because you'll get a natural light :)
They also serves breakfast, pasta, mocktails and more.
Alison Nelson's is quite literally a hidden gem in the Pearl. It has a great outdoor seating for this weather and the service here is friendly and prompt.
Here's what's definitely worth trying -
1. American Breakfast - A lot of food in just 65QR
2. Signature Salad - A very healthy salad with YOGHURT dressing
3. Pistachio Hot Chocolate - They outta have a good hot chocolate, don't they? ;)
4. Coffee - They have a great variety of Hot Coffees and Frappuccinos
Also, the ambiance in the Pearl Branch is amazing. It feels more like a lounge than a restaurant. Definitely worth checking out.

My favorites are "The Spicy Steak sandwich" and their "Alfredo pasta". I love coming to Chocolate Bar because I love the restaurant's vibe, very clean and the staff are very helpful. Mary, Melissa, Rhoda and Nikita were the people who assisted us. The service is very fast and they are always ready to serve with your needs like when we requests for condiments or napkins. We'll definitely go back here.

I am having my lunch first time in chocolate bar. i ordered croc-monsurier. Rhoda was surving my food. after my lunch she asking me to write customer satisfactory. then she give me the free desert. so i choose lawa cake.

Delicious desserts, awesome view. Seafront. Calm and cozy environment. Great outdoor sitting too. Chocolate fondue was awesome and so was the waffle with chocolate, strawberries, blueberries and cream.

I love their chocolate. We tried the fondue its really nice. The venue is great we dine outside and its overlooking the sea of the pearl great ambience for dinner dates :) Would love to dine in here again sometime cheers!

I am a chocolate lover and I have always loved their chocolate! I have tried their Chocolate Fondue, mocha and hot chocolate.. those are delicious... the fondue is good for 2 and doesnt make you high on sugar.. the taste is just yum 😍
Nice place.The service is good.I had my breakfast there it was nice and tasty.Even it is a chocolate bar but there was no pancakes or waffles to have .It was shocking. In general we had good moments .

Very good service. I used my Entertainer coupons for breakfast there and they let us customize our choices until we were satisfied with our final selection in spite of using the coupons. Many shops don't have a lot of wiggle room if you plan to use the vouchers instead. So that was nice about them. The red velvet cake was heavenly. Would recommend this place for sure.

If you want to experience an ultimate chocolate cheat day this is a must visit place. The ambience is really warm and comfortable. The hospitality was nice and the waiters helped us with the menu. The service was quick. We ordered oreo brownie, waffle , sundae chocolate cheesecake and Chipotle. In this Chipotle was super chocolaty and chocolate rich. I would recommend it if you want ultimate cheat day. Finding it would be bit difficult since its locate inside the building and parking will be an issue otherwise would recommend this place
Chocolate Bar has a nice ambiance, lovely desserts and nice service. I find the ice cream that comes with the chocolate exceptionally good. I won't say the same about its light food dishes.

I have visited Alison Nelson's Chocolate Bar on a few occasions in both Dubai and on The Pearl, Qatar and have really enjoyed the sweet items on offer! My husband and I usually pop in to have a Hot Chocolate or "Liquid Chocolate", as they call it here and both the Classic and Spicy versions are very good! We usually accompany it with a cake or two; our favs being the Peanut Butter Crispy and the Chocolate Lava Cake with Gelato. Alison Nelson's Chocolate Bar also offers a great array of cakes, cupcakes, chocolate fondue and other desserts, as well as breakfast items, salads, sandwiches, pastas and hot and cold beverages. There are 2x1 vouchers in The Entertainer too for Breakfast items.
Tucked at the edge of the Porto Arabia district lies a cute little restaurant called Chocolate Bar. I’m sure many have heard and/or dined at this place already. For those of you who haven’t, it’s a must to try. This is my third time to come here for breakfast and their food and service is consistently good. We came in early at 8AM and we have the whole place to ourselves. The view is great as it is directly beside the sea. The seating areas are ample both in and out and thankfully, the morning heat was quite tolerable (38C is good for Qatar summer standards!) so we got to sit outside.
I love the place. My wife and I went for breakfast and it was amazing. I highly recommend it for families, and the view is amazing as well. Try it out and you will not regret it.
The best thing i like here is they close a little bit late compare to the others in porto arabia.. The place is nice. Its chic and classy. The food was good.
It's funny that this place is called "Chocolate Bar" while it's pasta is 10× better than desserts there. I tried all and I can say I'm satisfied with them. My favorites are the alfredo and el pesto. When it comes to desserts, I tried the apple pie, chocolate fudge cake, carrot cake, strawberry shortcake gelato and all were a bunch of disappointment. The chocolate lava cake made it up for me.
There are some strange things about the menu, like the cookies sandwich, its 78 QR which tastes the exact same as Applebee's 29 QR one!! and the classic brownie with gelato is 29QR but the oreo one is 48QR. Why exactly is that.

Indulgence at its best, on a chilly December eve, what better than a warm chocolate lava cake to remind you why chocolate is the answer for everything. Also tried the Oreo brownie and it was good but a bit rich as it was slathered in a warm chocolate sauce, maybe next time I'll have it without the sauce, well at least sauce on the side 😬. Till the next time, or at least after a few days in the gym to burn of this mountain of calories.
I would come back for the good service, the sweets and coffee. Even though the meal I had was pretty good, it's limited options. However, 76QR for a the chocolate cup is a bit much, however tasty it was.
I do plan on going back and taking my visiting guests there but not for everyday sweet and drinks.

Tried the famous chocolate lava cake with gelato, the first thing that struck me when my order arrived was the portion size. The dessert was much larger than described in the menu which was a delight. The cake was firm and well balanced, a slight fissure and the gooey chocolate goodness oozed out to mix with the sinful gelato and hint of mint to form this beautifully balanced concoction.
The staff was prompt and courteous.
The ambience was a bit austere for my taste but didn't matter as the matter on the plate was fantastic!

This is the perfect place for an outdoor breakfast (when the weather is ok..) facing the sea at The Pearl! One of my fav spots..so relaxing! (They serve breakfast until 1pm.) They have a nice selection of desserts too.
The name of this cafe is sort of misleading because, ironically, their menu has a lot more of breakfast/brunch items than chocolate/desserts. Nevertheless, the desserts are delicious. Try out the lava cake with ice cream.
It's not the good place to eat there the food is not so yummi the portions are so small , but the deserts the coffee and chocolate are nice the place is not so good unless you set outdoor.
Awesome early morning veiw and reasonable snack price. Peaceful acoustic guitar covers for all the good music. Good for a mood change if you are preparing for a major exam
I've tried the American breakfast which was okay but not as good as the sweet and milkshakes! I would highly recommend this place if you're having a sweet tooth =)
I had a great experience in this place. First of all the location is really lovely since it's situated in the Pearl overlooking the harbor, calming and relaxing. Nice place to chill out with friends or family. Interiors are bright and as you enter you can smell the aroma of the pastries they are making. I love their hot chocolate, pure cocoa taste with the right amount of sweetness just the way I want it, plus they present it with an amazing latte art. You have to try the red velvet cake as well - moist, soft and will just melt in your mouth. Staff were great, friendly and attentive especially the store manager Nina. Definitely worth a visit!
If you try to seat at their outdoor dining, you will be provided with a fantastic view of the harbor and sea. We opted for the inside because we were going to spend the next couple of hours basking in the sun already.
At 9:30 in the morning, the place was not crowded at all so were enjoyed some privacy.
The interior is sleek and very chic. It was also very clean and tidy, I just don't know if this is because we were there early in the morning.
We were in a hurry since the cruise would start at 10:00. Good thing that the staff were very swift, our breakfast was ready in minutes.
Great place for an afternoon or evening chill time. During cooler weather, the patio is perfect, which is located just near the water area. Visit them and for sure some good array of desserts will be waiting for you and your friends. ;)
P.S. : Although the name may suggest, Chocolate Bar offers main course as well.
As the name might suggest, it is not an exclusive dessert place. Fairly spacious interior but slightly worn out sofas were a let down. The view in daylight is pretty pleasing if you manage to get a seat by the windows. Food was pretty good. Tried the Alfredo pasta. Reasonable portions and nicely prepared. Service was up to the mark but we visited on a weekday so not sure how a busy weekend evening might turn out. The menu doesn't offer too much. The main course section is pretty limited. On the whole, don't really think I'll visit again.

And he made it double so it was too hard to describe.

Aiming at visiting Chocolate Bar but never being able to get there is something I regret now. Right from the chic interiors to the morning wishes in chorus are warm and inviting. It is a must to mention that the Restaurant Manager Nina is a wonderful lady and adds such a positive vibe to the ambiance.
Sipping on my Spicy Hot Chocolate kept me calm (read: extremely nervous) while the many shoot takes and photographs (video shooting for the first time for a restaurant brand). The restaurant was quite busy for an early morning.
With a general notion in my mind about the location being The Pearl - I'd expected a pricey menu. In my opinion, it's moderate with an extravagant view. With the soft breeze, alfresco dining or just relaxing with a book and a cup of coffee would be perfect! They also do chocolates and are moderately priced.
After a great chat about various food topics and Doha Dining news, we ordered the breakfast. It was a difficult choice to make from the amazing combos and finally asked for an American Breakfast & fresh Orange Juice. Signature Breakfast was another great looking dish.
The American Breakfast comes packed with a basket of fresh homemade croissants & breads. The platter was a fluffy omelet with mushroom, cheese and tomatoes (as requested) with grilled tomato and Hash Browns. I, absolutely enjoyed the eggs and complimented very well with my fresh Orange juice. It more than suffices as a one person meal. Priced at QR 75 would seem on a higher end but considering that everything is fresh and the bread basket is entirely homemade is of great value. The almond croissant and the pain au chocolat was to die for (read: chocolicious)!
A great finale to a beautiful morning was this goodies bag that came as a wonderful surprise and indeed a very sweet gesture.
On a regular day, you would pay QR 100 per person for a meal at all times.
I'm yet to try their gorgeous lunch menu but before that I cant wait to experience the afternoon tea on offer! Yes, they do my favorite meal of the day - check this space soon for the update.

Very nice place, delicious desserts and ice cream. Unfortunately for those people you knows the taste of real espresso and cappuccino, my advice, better to order any cocktails there( yummy)
I really loved the taste of the meals. I've tried a burger and it tasted so good and the quantity is quite good ! The plate was added with coleslaw and French fries. The service was a bit slow! I also tried the purple rain drink and it didn't taste good. But the plates are well served and tasty !
