Fantastic look, delicious food, super relaxing ambience. I highly recommend Savannah for food or high tea. Unforgettable experience and memories.
We went to Savannah for dinner and we really liked the experience. The music, the light, the food and overall the service were amazing. The food is quite rich and the portions are huge so the normal starter and main is just way too much here, please have that into account when ordering. We had the cape cod salad and the wild mushroom as starters, my husband ordered the lamb (he could not finish) and I ordered the prawns (I could only have 3). The only low light of the dinner were my prawns that were way too cooked. The vegetables and mash that accompanied the mains were beautiful too. Big thanks to the service especially Ryan who made our dinner even nicer.
Was there for dinner loved the food and the atmosphere these guys create with nothing but some very small light....for a moment i thought i was in Africa.....food is superb sply their grills,prawns fish lamb chops....For SAVANAH GRILL -its not a resturant you guys are running its a experience you are giving us THANKS A TON
Savannah Grill, Sir Banyas Island has a unique atmosphere, making you feel like your in Africa for real. A freshly baked bread basket was presented with cup size of roasted tomato dip and roasted capsicum dip, a lovely South African touch.
I ordered a lentil soup, loved the cumin that made it taste very nice. The menu has a variety of mouth watering dishes of Pan African Espatadas and other African dishes, meat, chicken and seafood.
We ordered the African mezze, a variety of tasteful African dishes, of raw fried banana and samosa and other small dishes, a must try.
Our main was Espatada chicken, it came in a long screwer with a fresh plate of grilled salad at the bottom of the plate.
6 tiger prawn dish was an unexpected filling dish, simply delicious.
Sea bass was presented grilled with a side salad and baby baked potato, a light fresh dish worth trying.
Service was the only thing that was disappointing, they need to employee more staff for quick service. Otherwise the food was seriously delicious. At the end I was surprised with a birthday cake that was few days before.
