Review ‪special Ostadi‬ - دُبي

مطعم 🇮🇷 قديم ومميز خصوصاً بالمشويات جداً لذيذة . المكان صغير وعدد الطاولات تقريباً ٧ أو ٨، ديكور المطعم مليئ بالصور والمطعم ما شاء الله مزدحم باستمرار والخدمة جيدة . المشويات الكباب الدجاج واللحم كلها ممتازة جداً، وأنصح بطلب مشويات مشكلة و كباب سلطاني. السلطة المقدمة مع الطلبات، كانت طازجة جداً والزبادي لذيذ، الحمص والخبز ممتاز، الشوربة والفلافل ممتازة. الرز الأبيض جيد جداً كان ناقصه إضافة البرباريس معه ، وفيه نوع رز آخر لذيذ وأفضل، لكن للأسف يتوفر فقط في فترة الغداء (رز أخضر معه شبث ونوع من البقوليات) أخيراً المطعم يستحق التجربة وواحد من أفضل المطاعم الإيرانية في دبي والمنطقة.

في النادر جدا أعطي مطعم ٥ نجوم، ولكن مطعم الاستاد للكباب يستاهل وبجدارة. الطعم مميز ولم أتذوق شيء من قبل بهذا المستوى من لذة الكباب والمشويات والأرز. ديكورات المطعم بسيطة ودافئة. خدمة الطاقم رائعة ومرحبة. تجربة راح أكررها وأنا مغمض. السعر مقابل الخدمة متكافئ.

مطعم ايراني مختص بالمشاوي مطعم بسيط جداً لكن ذو شعبية كبيرة له طريقة يمتاز بها، عند الدخول للمطعم تجد ان الجدار مزخرف بصور عملاء المحل من المشاهير وغيرهم المنيو عبارة عن مشكل مشاوي ورز وسلطة وشوربة فقط الخدمة ممتازة على الرغم من الزحام الشديد واشكر بالخصوص (فيصل) على تعاملة.. الذ مشاوي تاكلها في الامارات اعتقد تلاقيها عنده، التتبيلة غريبة والاغرب انها خفيفة بعد الاكل ما تحس بتخمة الرز لذيذ 😋 والشوربة جميلة .. اتمنى الاهتمام بالمطعم وعمل توسعة له ليشمل القسمين كاملة ويكون اوسع وارتب..

المعروف لايعرف مطعم إيراني ذو طابع كلاسيكي ومتميز من ناحية الديكور والصور التي تملأ المكان من شخصيات عالمية أتت إلى هذا المطعم الجميل المتميز مثل حسين الجسمي وبطل القتال الحر حبيب الروسي والطباخ التركي بوراك وبالإضافة إلى العملات النقدية من مختلف أنحاء العالم المعروضة في الطاولات اسفل الزجاج وينقسم المطعم إلى قسمين عوائل و عزاب ولا يوجد براتشن لأن كل شخص في حاله لم أجد أي ازعاج الطاقم خدوم جدا والطلب لم يتأخر عن 15 دقيقة والمبلغ يعتبر ممتاز جدا بالنسبة لمطاعم دبي الطلب كان 2 جيلو كباب مع سلطة و 2 بيبسي و مع رمان و 2 ماء الحساب ب 91 درهم والشاهي مجانا مع التمر والحلويات واستمتعنا كثيرا بالطعم الخورافي واتمنى لو يوجد عنده فرع في السعودية

One of the most iconic dining spots in the city,it has been visited by nearly every celebrity who has been to Dubai ,the restaurant is filled with photos of thousands of celebrities and happy customers who dine here,the owners are very kind and welcoming and the restaurant has a very cozy,warm and homely feel to it,the prices are much cheaper than other restaurants who provide similar quality food and the food is authentic Persian,yogurt chicken/mutton kebabs and shish tawook are my recommendations,it is always jam packed and very busy on weekends,surely worth a visit.

One of the oldest & hidden gems in Dubai. Known for being one of the few places that is still run by the family, that serves authentic Iranian food, at cheap prices.<br/><br/>The place is very small, but well decorated with old notes/pictures from the time the family arrived in Dubai.<br/><br/>Food is freshly cooked, and the portions are enough for a feast.<br/><br/>The only glitch about this place is the parking. On the very rare occasions I was able to visit this place, I had to go around several times to get a spot. Maybe come by metro and walk to it.

The hype around Al Ustad can be felt right outside, where a serpentine queue awaits you. There is a 15-30mins wait usually, and even when you enter, a table is not easy to find & sit. It's chaotic and noisy. Wouldn't mind as that's what it is popular for. People from all walks of life come here. They have their walls bedecked with celebrity pictures, in fact there is no space left in any wall! With such a huge fan following, the food was somewhat okay. It was a decent meal, but I wouldn't go back again though. Mutton Cholo Kebab was the best in the mixed grill we ordered, expecting much from the Khas Kabab and Joujeh but not as flavorsome as it was made to sound. Bahrani Kebab was peppery, better than expected. If you're going for the first time, order the mix grill so to sample all of the popular dishes.

Tried out there kebab..Probably i had gone with high expectations seeing the reviews it was just ok for me..Nothing makes me feel like going back again..Definitely a one time thing to see all the stars photo and all..

Al Ustadi has been the best place for Irani kebab based cuisine for the past 6 years. However my experience on Thursday night was quite bad. We ordered the kubediah kebab and mixed grill. The kebabs were old and lacked the juicy fresh taste. The bread (naan) was dry and old. The mixed grill wasn’t appetizing at all. So disappointed

I heard about this restaurant from one of my friend and I checked it out on Zomato, the 4.9 rating shocked me, so I made it a point to definitely visit this place. I have had good exposure to Iranian food but unfortunately this isnt the best Iranian kebab I have had. We ordered a mix platter for 2, I was a bit surprised by the less quantity they offered for a high price. We really like some of the items but one meat with yoghurt tasted really bad. But overall the taste was good. One thing to note is that the shop is pretty packed even during Covid times but they have many rooms nearby if you dint get space in the first one. The flavor were simple yet very delicious, and kabab are served with either rice or bread depends on what you choose.<br/><br/>The salad along with yogurt sauce with mint which you will get before your meal is fresh, healty and tasty too.<br/><br/>Must try this place!

This is my favorite kebab place! Everything here is so tasty! I really love their kebab, hummus, also their yogurt sauce mixed with mint. Plus they have free tea which is my fave part after eating! And also the owner is so friendly. I really do recommend this place especially for those who are so picky. You will surely love their food!

Their special kabab is worth all the hype. Its super juicy and the favor is out of this world. Also the owner is always at the desk and is a very pleasant guy! Have ordered for delivery from here as well and they are quite on time with no delays.

Great place for a meet-up with friends. My favourite dish is Joujeh Chicken Kebab and Chicken Kabab Khas. The flavours were really simple. Neither very spicy nor too bland. The service is quick and also the owner is also very friendly.

I've been hearing about this place for YEARS and after all the hype I finally tried it last week and it was disappointing to say the least. <br/><br/>I've been eating Iranian food all my life and I can say without a doubt I have a certain expertise in area. The food was good,.don't get me wrong, but it wasn't GREAT! I've had better Iranian kebabs at the same price point at at least 2 other restaurants, that I will choose not to name. <br/><br/>To sum up, above average food, 3.5 at best, definitely not the 4.9 rating the restaurant boasts.

This place serves the best Iranian Kebabs in town. They nail every dish on their menu. My favourites are the Joujeh Chicken Kabab (Chicken pieces marinated in saffron and grilled) and the Cholo Mutton Kabab (Barbequed minced meat with rice). <br/><br/>Simple flavours yet extremely delicious. THE BEST KEBABS I'VE HAD IN DUBAI. <br/><br/>

Its been a long time i wrote a review. <br/>Yesterday night just, to get out from depression of working from home for a long time, we went outside. We had no plans to dine out or eat anything. But as many of fellow foodies agree, Food is the best antidepressant,(Till you have it :) ) <br/><br/>So we decided to have kebabs, that too from the most loved place.<br/><br/>the place was pretty congested even at 10:00pm on a weekday and we had to wait for 15 mts. <br/><br/>The staff was courteous. and finally we got our tables.<br/><br/>I am not here to describe about the ambiance or cleanliness in detail as many have reviewed it already. Both, to me was average.<br/><br/>We ordered Mix grill platter for 2. Please bear in mind that, there is an additional menu they will bring which is not the same here in Zomato. So basically if the Zomato Menu says, mix platter no 2 is AED 38 (That might be for one person), This menu for 2 ppl is AED 82.<br/><br/>We ordered Hummus and Chicken+Lentil soup as well.<br/><br/>Now lets get into the food.<br/><br/>Hummus was divine<br/>Lentil Soup : We both didnt like the taste ( it is purely personal opinion)<br/><br/>Mix grill platter : They were fresh and juicy. <br/><br/>But 2 Kebabs were too sour for our liking. Trust me I sprinkled so much salt to balance the taste, still it didnt work for us. Those were yogurt Kebabs. This is an absolute "dil se" review.. This place is a perfect 5/5..<br/>Al Ustad Special Kabab is more a feeling than a restaurant..<br/>Staff here is warm and welcoming.. Menu is limited but enough to blow your mind away.. As per the staff's recommendation we ordered Mix grill 2 which had all the special kababs enough for 2-3 people and Rotis.. Hummus was too tempting not to be ordered.. and man the salad that came complementary was so fresh..<br/>All the kababs had something different and special about them and this was explained in detail by the kind person serving us.. I knew about their lentil soup from a youtube video and I am glad we didn't miss out on it..<br/><br/>Ambience is nothing fancy but definitely sweet and filled with so many memories, captured in pictures, framed on the walls.. My most favourite Iranian restaurants. The ambience is soo attractive ,there is soo much to look at. One can never get bored in this restaurant .<br/>The food is delicious . I never tasted such taste variety in kebab. Each one of them was different in kebab. Definitely an achievement. Sitting is not fancy at all looks very local but food is definitely worth it

Ordered Mutton Kubideh with rice. Chelo Kebab. It was nice and tender but maybe my expectations were more<br/>Salad was very crunchy and fresh.<br/>Suggest to provide butter instead of margarine to make the rice more fragrant.<br/>Also wish the hospitable owner / staff had been more suggestive and consulting from what I had heard.<br/>Overall good place for food, ambience, but I think I was expecting too much.<br/>Sulaimani tea with a floating mint leaf was a nice way to end the meal.

Read such nice reviews about this restaurant, i was wanting to visit it since long. Finally got to visit it a few days back. Fairly spacious restaurant with some good friendly staff.<br/><br/>Ordered for their signature kebab Khaas, we went for the mutton kebab which is very well marinated in yogurt and grilled to perfection. Definitely our go to place when we are on that side of town. The mix for 2 is just on point. What makes this place worth visiting apart from the food is photographs on the wall and the superb brothers who are such excellent hosts Talab rocks! An authentic kabab place. The food is great though little over priced. But the kababs will never disappoint you. Their mint tea is free and its the best way to end the meal. The kababs are juicy and full of flavours.

Its not a fancy place. But their walls are the best. Every single inch of aalls is covered with photos of Celebrities who visit this place. And anyone can bring their photp of visit and the waill attactch it on wall. Its famous really really famous.. Rulars, Sportsman ... Actors everyone has visited this place. Best is their mutton kababs. Mutton tikka was also good. Chicken was ok. Bit pricey for that location. But for kababs its really good.

The place is filled with so much nostalgia , the pics on the wall speak about the great legacy it holds hosting celebrities and diplomats. Truly a place to find the best Iranian kebabs . If you are new to the place ask for the platter menu . It’s simply irresistible. Awesome food experience and must try for a local foodie.

At this original Iranian restaurant they served us 6 different types of kebabs with different meat cuts, spices and accompaniments...restaurant full of pictures of celebrities, table full of different currencies of the world and really good food...

if zomato ever gave me the option to give only 1 "restaurant" 0 starts i'd pick ustadi, as an iranian I feel offended this places tries to hide under the guise of iranian cuisine. The restaurant looks very fascinating from outside with all the photos put up on the walls inside.<br/>We were greeted by the friendly staff and the entire ambience felt so lively. It's difficult to get a place during dinner especially during weekend. Plan a little time for this as waiting time is generally not so long. They have a quick service.<br/>I would recommend go for the combo meal offers they have and not the ala carte menu. They serve variety of kebabs. You can customise this, just request the staff on what kind of kebabs you prefer. Kebabs come along with salad, bread (this is actually a rumali roti) and curd. Try the hummus. Best thing about their kebabs are that they are juicy, soft and cooked exactly the right way.<br/>You can also order for zafran rice and kebabs. Though I didn't have this but the aroma from the table next to be was tempting.<br/>Spend some time looking at the different currencies under the table glass.<br/>This is a read value for money.

Highly overhyped restaurant with mediocre Kababs and an ill-mannered staff and owner. They will only treat you well when you are wearing the traditional emirati Kandoura...The place was highly disorganized and congested...Will never visit such a bad restaurant where the staff don't have basic courtesy and etiquette for treating the customers...

We walked past this restaurant on the way to the grand mosque and saw the open kebab grill kitchen and decided to give a try. This is our first time trying Iranian cuisine. The complementary dates were very delicious and we liked the hummus and kebabs as well. The service was friendly and the serve was generous. Definitely worth a visit.

I discovered this restaurant a few months ago and each time I am around the area I will ONLY go here for lunch or dinner! The food and quality is exceptional. A real hidden gem!

After reading all the reviews about this restaurant I decided to take my wife there for dinner. It was a weekend and the place was busy, but we managed to get a place to sit. We were so excited. Within minutes our order was taken and then one hour and twenty minutes later we left the restaurant without having dinner.<br/><br/>These are my observations.<br/><br/>Four families came after us. All of them were served but not in the order they came in. The last two families got served first. That’s when I realized that the manager was prioritizing service for a specific nationality. In fact the meal that we ordered was served to them minutes after they arrived. That hurt my feelings.<br/><br/>I understand they were busy, I understand the manager did what he did because he thought it was good for business, I understand I was in the wrong attire. Such is life.

One of the oldest and famous place in Dubai, perhaps in UAE. Kebabs are really good, in particular yoghurt marinated kebabs. Place is full of owner pictures with celebrities, staff attitude was just ok, seems they know they have customers and don’t pay much attention on service. Average Price is slightly higher than similar restaurants. Serving size was reasonably good, no desserts and no drinks (except soft drinks). Overall it’s good if you are around that area but may not be worth of travel. Parking is almost impossible and very expensive in private car parks.

First the positives.. the salads and raita are good. Their tea is probably the best thing<br/>Coming to the main items the kebabs I couldn't understand the hype. They r just normal tasting kebabs u can find in any irani restaurant in Dubai. I have had better kebabs in Dubai that this place. I think it's just over hyped..

We are new to the city and my husband & I stumbled upon it while walking Al Fahidi. I was famished and it was my happiest evening when my hunger met it's new home - this beautiful Iranian restaurant! Right from the moment you enter you are welcomed very warmly by the owner himself and we were brightened by the manner in which the restaurant has been decorated. Very warm and vibrant interiors. And the soul is satisfied with the succulent kebabs and the cholos are simply divine and sumptuous - all for a very reasonable meal ! It's a small menu but you really can't get bored or wrong in your choice. Don't miss it on your trip !<br/><br/>Best regards to the owners who are so passionate about their food house - they are super friendly and approachable, always checking on their guests and setting the positive vibes to the place. Rare quality nowadays, if you know what I mean :)

Heard alot about it and been there to try the restaurant.place is nice they have separate area for family.kababs no doubt very too much tasty and delicious.but they were expensive as compare to other kabab restaurants.but must try once

Finally landed up at one of the older restaurants in Dubai. The owner was super friendly and the staff very helpful and patient despite us being a large (and chaotic) group. Good that touches your heart. And experiences that make you a part of the traditions of this place. My best wishes to the team here. Keep going strong!

Best iranian food in town, however they need to work on the customer service.

Visited this much hyped restaurant day before yesterday and to my feedback... I didn't really enjoy the Kebabs which tasted Bland. I have visited several other Iranian restaurants in Deira in UAE and i feel they serve Much better and Tastier Kebabs than this one.. Never to Visit and waste your money.
