I visited Bussola a while ago for dinner. I was pleased with the warm décor and the great welcoming staff - kudos for that. The place is a real 5 stars when it comes to service and food quality. I also start with a burrata at an Italian place, through which I guestimate how good the remainder of the menu will be. Burrata was an absolute delight! I went ahead and tried the Il gran tagliere (cold cuts), the Filetto di manzo (great beef fillet, tender and melts as you would expect it), and end it with a perfectly done Tiramisu. The place is expensive, but pricing is fair for the high end service and food. Highly recommended for your fine dining!
- Outdoor dining space is well set-up, especially during the winters
- Service is commendable
- Known for their pastas
- Slightly pricey
Tried the Pizzeria, although I liked the dual dining style of pizzeria and fine but prior information of the same would've been nicer.
Ordered the La Bussola Pizza and the Pollo Pizza, both of them were super delicious, great portions and pricing wasn't bad either.
The starters we had were Bruschetta, which I didn't really like much since it just overloaded with tomatoes, the Bresola Salad was super nice and in good quantity.
The Tiramisu was the dessert we had and it was the best Tiramisu I've ever had. I'm not a sweet tooth but I gobbled the whole cup in minutes.
The service was good, the restaurant could use more lighting, I felt the Pizzeria was more dimly lit than the fine dining, but that was the only thing that needs to be looked into. Also loved the fact they have a local water option rather than forcing you to buy expensuve fancy water.
Highly recommend this place.
