The staff are always very friendly and I love that you can go and look at the beautiful fresh fish counter if you want one of their fish dishes. I am yet to do this however, is on my never ending list of food things I want to do I’m the UAE. The views are stunning! The fish pie is huge! Plenty to share between two. I’ve never made it to dessert. Very generous portions. The presentation is always nice and I prefer that it is not overplayed with. The fish is fresh and the batter is thin and perfectly crispy and not too oily. Highly recommended! Especially the fish and chips. #thegreefyone

The cuisine is British (but not only) and seafood and the bar has all you need, a lounge, a extensive gin menu. Good cocktails and a pretty damn good wine list as well. Moreover the kids get an extensive attention with a menu that is perfectly tailored for a juvenile need. Lots of possibilities. A great experience and here i had the best fish and chips i ever had in my life. See for yourself

My boyfriend and I had a dinner on Saturday in the restaurant. While the food and the service was ok, the waiter didn't mentioned that the plate is and food (fishermen pie) was boiling hot and we need to wait before we eat it. This resulted in mouth burn and pain for the whole evening and the next day. Simple warning to us could have saved the situation...Disappointed!

I had no intention to post this review on FB, as I already posted on Tripadvisor and Zomato. Unfortunately, after finding out that the restaurant management reported my review on Zomato as "reporting illegal activities" and therefore was deleted, I decided to post here as well. Absolute disappointment - long black hair in food We visited Geales last night for my birthday. Considering the fact that the restaurant presents itself as a seafood one, the standard menu is quite limited with seafood dishes. We opted for mussels and shrimp cocktail for a starter. The cream sauce for mussels was lovely, shrimp cocktail pretty average for Dubai standards. For main we decided to choose fresh lobster, scallops and shrimps from the "market", with a salad as a side dish. What a surprise when we start eating and I saw my partner getting a long black hair out of his mouth. We immediately informed the waiter and he called manager. The manager took no action and just assured us that no one in his team has a long black hair, therefore the hair is not from them. Really? Then I am wondering how come it was mixed with the salad. The manager took no additional action in offering us a new plate or replacing the food. This totally spoilt my appetite and we decided to return the food and pay the bill. What a surprise when we got charged the full price. I spoke to the manager prior leaving, absolute lack of professionalism, he did not want to take the fault of 40cm thick black hair found in our food and only assured us he will send the hair to laboratory (what a bulls***!). After the conversation, when we were already leaving as we spoke to him at the entrance of the restaurant, he offered to replace our seafood dish. A bit late I would say. I have been living in Dubai for over four years and never experience this lack of professionalism in a fine-dining restaurant. I would not recommend this place. Not because of the hair we found, this can happen, but because of the absolute ignorance of the manager.

Classy establishment with delicious food and fantastic service.....what more could you want. I’ll definitely be returning here on my next visit to Dubai. Hazim and Karen really looked after us and made our time in Dubai very enjoyable. Well worth a visit!

Шикарное, вкусное заведение, были 4 раза ! Ведёрко с мидиями шикардос, креветки все хорошо приготовлены, нет суеты, а хугарден разливной - только в этом заведении ! Твёрдая 5-ка - есть с чем сравнить !

Свежайшие морепродукты, вкусно, великолепное австралийское белое вино...Прекрасный ресторан для ужина, даде если живёшь не в Le Royal Meridian 👍🏻

My second visit today. Large relaxing outdoor terrace, view over the grounds of the hotel, attentive and friendly staff - very accommodating. Oh did I forget to mention the fantastic seafood? Oysters, king crab, tuna carpaccio and endive salad...will definitely be back.

I went for dinner last weekend and loved it. Ordered fresh sea bass from the fish market, grilled with butter. Simply perfect with a glass of white wine. Getting hungry again just writing this!

Love love love it... gutted i have to wait a whole year to visit our three favourite men!! Jenson makes the best woowoos ever! John and darius are just fab. Thanks for making our holiday so memorable xxxx
