Portions on mains are on the big size which was good. Happy hour till 8pm on most days, they do have some other promotions, check their menu for those. At this point I would like to flag a very concerning incident that happened on our way out, for the management to review. I will not deduct stars from the total rating, but I am willing to not come back if this isn’t addressed. So while we went to the lift area, the friendly ladies were not in reception and instead, there was a man swearing in the worst possible way, loudly, on the phone. He was swearing non-stop, using some hideous English expressions, not caring that guests can hear all of it. I then approached the security guy to complain that this is unacceptable - his reply was “do you have a problem with it?”. Well yes I do have a problem, and I won’t be coming back to Cargo when I’m being talked to like that.

We ordered dynamite shrimp and avocado bowl. Shrimps were yumm but avocado bowl was ok. They had happy hours on (Sat-Thur 12-8 pm) so my husband got his beer at a very good price. We were able to valet park the car and also got it validated. So that was easy as well. Go there for the happy vibe!

Bit noisy, nice place , ambient lighting adds to the atmosphere , full of trendies , we all had different food but my food was fabulous , party of 8 , steak wasn’t too nice but I had the morrocan lamb chops , best choice , they were amazing, waiter was very attentive couldn’t fault the place .

Had been twice in five nights while on honeymoon 2 years ago. Loved the place then, and on holiday this time we were desperate to go back. Food was again very nice, atmosphere good, busy and music good. A bit disappointed this time though. Had our 5 year old with us and despite checking beforehand when she could be in the restaurant, we were informed a different time after we arrived. Also, unbelievably if children are allowed in until 10pm the staff said they didn't have a childrens menu......so for my daughter to eat we had to pay an adult price!! Still a really nice place snd will probably revisit at some point, but from raving about it to others and being desperate to go back, we now, unfortunately wouldn't rush back on our next visit to Dubai.

Its cool ambiance and astral lightings are what I like about this place. However, my friends and I had an uncomfortable experience last night with their waiters. As we left our table after paying the bill, they called us out while getting off the bar exit just to ask if we have paid our orders. To question us once is okay, but thrice is disrespectful. Moreso, even after showing them the receipt as proof of payment, they’ve still asked us to come inside the bar again and point out who we made the payment to. Clearly, there’s lack of coordination among waiters and I suggest they should be trained on the proper way of approaching customers. (Note: This is a sincere review based on personal experience and we have no intention to tarnish your reputation) 🙂

Great place, good food. Love the view, it's like a 180 on the Marina and you see JBR. Staff are very friendly. Dasha (I think that was her name) was our waitress, fun and friendly. The crowd is not too posh not too casual; they're just right. Highly recommend it.

Nothing special. Just a bar with loud music and drinks. The waitress managed to knock over my cigar but she did t think it necessary to pick it up or apologise. Oh well, another place off the return list.

In a way it is fun place, lots of people to socialize, music to dance... But! I never experienced such disrespectful behavior from the bartender as there... I tried to order my drink, he talked to some people right from me, ok, I can wait... next time - he came back and talked to people left from me. Ok, I still waited... Each time I tried to attract his attention, he played like I don't exist. Finally, there was no one ordering around me, I tried to talk to him again, he looked at me like I don't exist and just left... Horrible experience!!! Girls, yes, it is ladies night but there is not so much good for ladies in that place except good music to dance...

Great place for atmosphere and views but the bar service horrendous!! And 3 ladies toilets for the size of the place is crazy!!

A nice lounge in pier 7, that serves food and drinks and has multiple seating area options(dinner/quiet or lounge with drinks and a bigger crowd). The place has some nice vibes and its gets alive throughout the night. Food is also good, which comes as a nice surprise. I tried a steak and it was tasty. Waiters are friendly and helpful. Pricing is fair.

Cargo is a nice place to hang-out during the weekends, centrally located in marina right next to the mall. However, we loved the place! <br/>They served unlimited appetizers/finger food: spring rolls, sushi, mini burgers, French fries, green beans, chicken skewers with peanut butter. Food was amazing! Booked a table for two and after booking tried calling them atleast a 100 times to inform them that I would be running late. No answer. I love their nasi goreng, perfectly seasoned and cooked well without getting dry. The calamari was good too! Good proportion of seafood to breading. The curry is lacking in spice though. The portions are generous-2 dishes can serve 3 people. The price is a bit expensive but you can use entertainer so it’s alright🙂 cool crowd, chill vibe, and modern music! The place is really big with high ceiling so you dont feel cramped even when it’s crowded. Great place to hang out, whatever time of the day👌🏼

Went to cargo! It's got a mesmerizing view with outdoor seating. You need to pre book your reservation as it's very crowded after 9 pm. The chicken katsu curry in the main course section is too delicious. Their vegetarian Singapore noodles are a must try! The ambience is very cozy and romantic. The songs too are very light and uplift your mood for sure!

We have been to cargo a couple of times for a normal evening out ans for a brunch recently. I liked the ambiance and the view but talking about the food, it was mediocre. I liked the chicken satay, sushi but didnt like the burgers and the main course brunch menu that had.<br/>Overall I like the place but I will only go for alacarte.

This place never disappoints! Visited Cargo with a couple of friends after work on a Wednesday night. The food for me was by far the best I’ve had over the restaurants in Pier 7! Well balanced and right portion size. Their offer for their premium steaks is truly worth it! <br/><br/>Where do I begin? From the moment the lift door opens, the hostesses greeted us with a warm smile. We don’t have any reservation but thanks to Shindy and Frelita for sorting our table and accommodating us. Very fast and efficient! <br/><br/><br/>Service was on point! And also did not have to call our waitress (Jham) for anything as she was always asking us if we needed our drinks to be replenished without the feeling of being intrusive. i've been in cargo last friday and it was crowded night and i dont have any reservation table so i decided to go to the bar and order my drinks. I met this bartender macky funny and entertaining guy. I know his so much busy but he can still manage to smile. Surely me and group of my friends will come back to this place. Well done Macky!

One of the worst customer service.. we went for Ladie's night, the place is offering 3 free drinks but the thing is that you have to spend minimum 20 min waiting on the bar to get your glass, as the staff are not professional at all, they are not paying attention to the customers , not smiling , not looking at you.. u can't enjoy time with ur friends, u will spend all night at the bar waiting for bartenders to serve u a drink..<br/>Another thing , when we were leaving we spent another 10 minutes waiting for hostess to stamp the valet parking tag as she wasn't on her place . It is inside Pier 7 in Dubai Marina. It is one of the bars that we go almost every week to take something, especially from 5 to 8, that have Happy Hour, and make us much happier the visit. Beautiful views, and a local almost always very busy.

I had brunch here with friends,a table of 8 persons and what a disappointing experience it was. So little food,under average. The brunch is from 2pm to 5pm. On display they only have some simple sushi appetisers with bits of salmon,tuna and lots of veg sushi. I asked if that was all the food and they said they will come at the table with some hot appetisers. At around 3pm they brought at the table a few shrimp tempura,beef and chicken skewers really hard to chew and later mini chicken burgers. Needless to say that quantity was so little that more than half of the table had to wait a few good minutes for other rounds to come. Everyone thought that’s all the food they serve so they got full on that. At 4 they brought some main courses:seafood noodle, breaded chicken,stir fry beef and french fries. 20 minutes before brunch closed we were served with only one choice of dessert which was a milky tasteless pudding ,something like baby foodthat no one at our table liked it so nobody had dessert. And this is the story of the worst brunch I ever had. price was 195 dhs with alcohol and 250 for bubbly option. Never again

They also serve a variety (ample) of hard drinks.<br/><br/>We ordered Cargo Starter Platter (chicken and beef). It had chicken satay, mini beef burgers, fried chicken and spring rolls. This itself was filling (for 2) but we wanted to try the main course too and ordered Classic Nasi Goreng and Veg Hakka Noddles as "our stomachs were full but yet we wished for more as we weren't content"<br/><br/>The presentation and the service gets full marks and the view adds a bonus to their score.<br/><br/>In all the platter was plethora of tasty starters, main course outdid the rest. Its a cool place to have drinks and enjoy the marina lake view. The place has outside seating as well. The cocktail are really refreshing with really fresh ingredients. The also allow kids till 2200 Hrs so you can enjoy with your kids as well. Please book a table beforehand. The staff was polite and helpful.

Visited cargo on a Wednesday with some friends and loved the chilled atmosphere in there. We ordered happy hour drinks and mains were on the entertainer! Seabass and red curry were really nice. Will definitely return another time.

Unprofessional and unacceptable behavior is the least I can say.<br/><br/>After ordering a glass of whiskey glen 12, I received a glass with a slice of lemon inside.<br/>I asked the waiter to provide me with a glass of whiskey with no lemon instead (who places lemon with whiskey!???)<br/>When we received the bill, 2 glasses of whiskey where accounted for.<br/>I asked the waiter to please remove one of those as the first was replaced. This is when the most unprofessional act happened:<br/>1) The manager accuses me for placing lemon in the first drink and he has a video to back it up(!!)<br/>2) I ask him for the video and the video is blocked by a person sitting in front of me only showing me doing gestures with my hand while speaking<br/>3) There wasn’t even lemon on the table<br/><br/>First of all, resorting to a video in a restaurant for one drink is fundamentally unacceptable. Second of all, why would I place a lemon inside my own whiskey?? Third of all, showing a video which is utterly wrong is also a disgrace to the restaurant.<br/>I will never step foot in this restaurant again.

Very lively and full of excitement. Especially Thursday night, this Cargo is full of people who would like to start their weekend with a pint of nice beer. Ordered some pints of Stella and Peroni with Cargo Platter. Cargo Platter was having volume enough for 2 and each food included was super delicious. Nice to enjoy some beers with disco music!

I used to like this place. Nice food and ambiance. Unfortunately yesterday, for the first time, even though we asked for a nonsmoking table we turned into passive smokers. I don’t know if they are having problems with the air system but my impression is that the nonsmoking area is smaller than it used to be. Smokers already have the entire outside area witch I cannot enjoy during the winter months if I don’t want to feel like an ashtray.

Great place to come for post work drinks on a Thursday afternoon/ night... get pretty busy too and atmosphere is pretty loud but it is great just like some London and Hong Kong bars I used to go too. Service is good and bar food is standard to good.... price of drinks are standard as the rest of Dubai - don’t expect too much change from aed 1000 if your doing rounds and there are four of you.

Pretty empty when we arrived before happy hour begins. But people started coming in after 5pm onwards. The place is huge with a terrace but during the season they don't have a service outside though you can still choose to sit out. Selected drinks at happy hours is 27aed, which is awesome. Food was good and it helps to use vouchers like entertainer so save a bit more. I really like the ambience and the staff were great! This won't be the first and last visit for sure. 😅

Was charged 4 glasses of prosecco although we ordered only 3. One of the glasses was broken so had to be replaced ( the waiter later said that it was “just a big hair” on the glass). We asked for the manager and he said that the Waiter is sure that we have ordered 4 glasses and that we are the ones who are mistaken. Anyway so had to pay for one extra glass which we didn’t have. Very very unsatisfied clients who are not coming back to Cargo! It seems the customer is not always right even if the customer is truly right.

OVERPRICED is the word I am going to use for the food. Food Menu is very very limited having just couple of options for vegetarians. Ladies night or happy hours is the time when you can get the value for money otherwise apart from the view I don’t think it has anything amazing to offer in food. Ambience is nice with good music etc in weekends or ladies night so you can enjoy given you have had food somewhere out 🤣

Beautiful place with stellar ambience. Chip in here take some pics and embrace yourself with some good music and sexy people. I ate veggie platter, Chocolate Caramel Pastry, Garlic Bread and Passion Fruit Mojito and all tasted decent. No complaints.

Went on Saturday night with hubby and another couple. Food was average, drinks too, waiters are friendly and polite, but nothing special about this place, and it was definitely over priced.

Frankly speaking I found this to be one of the best clubs in marina... Or Dubai as well... Cuz the ambiance inside is great.. MUSIC IS SOOOO GOOD... I loved it... ✨ Also the outside Terrence is so wonderful... Tht has its own beauty... To chill sit in the Terrence to have fun n dance be inside... Greaattt...!!!

The ambience and view is really good! But our food & drinks unfortunately were nothing special - in other reviews we saw they are - maybe we came on a bad day? <br/>Their preferred air conditioning setup seems to be fridge. So bring a jacket :)<br/>The Staff is friendly.

I’ve only liked the place on ladies night it’s really fun and a good vibe service is nice and the place isn’t packed. It’s not the same on the other days sadly

I have been to this place a couple of times and I can say it's the perfect pub space to socialise or even hang out with peers after work. Top happy hour deals with huge space to find a seat at any given time of the day. They got even outdoor tables to the hotel peripherals to get some good fresh air. The service has also been up to the mark and you won't be left disappointed.

Marina has a lot to offer and when it comes to view with Pier 7 Cargo nails it....perfect place to hang out with your buddies....loved the atmosphere whenever I go there...super cool place with super cool staff.

Amazing view and sushi, Singaporean noodles was all 5 star. Have had a good experience always.<br/>The disappointment came with the beef dish. Beef rendang was over cooked rubbery and sauce was thick and greasy. Definitely need for improvement on that front.

Other than the nice views of the marina, There is no point in dining at this restaurant. The crispy duck is overpriced and almost tasteless if it wasn’t for the hoisin sauce! It was very fatty and the skin crispy but I felt really sick after the meal. Pancakes were over steamed, they stuck together..

For valet parking remember you need to spend 250 AED (as minimum spend) otherwise they’ll charge you 100 AED. You can choose Atelier if you are going for quick couple of beers

This place has a very nice vibe to it . The crew is super sincere and it shows . The crowd is mostly young. And one of the few places in Marina where drinks are reasonably priced. Go check it out !

The food is very average and a way over priced of what it is. Very disappointed, we came on ladies night and pre-booked a table - all we wanted is to have a nice dinner. We were two girls who ordered quite a lot of food and drinks. By 11 we kindly asked the waiter to get us drinks using our First Ladies night coupons and we were told we had to go stand at the bar and get them ourselves. Honestly I’ve been to ladies night at multiple bars in Dubai and this is the first time I experienced such horrible customer service - only because we had previously ordered a bottle of wine which they were more than happy to bring to us, but the second we wanted to use our coupons “go get them yourselves” . Very disappointed, highly doubt I’d ever come here again and would not recommend this to place to anyone.....

Cargo is a lovely place in Pier 7 for a drink at night. Very comfortable and relaxing atmosphere with a wonderful view of the Marina walk. We really enjoyed our night!

Came here to celebrate a birthday. The outdoor terrace is perfect for the cool season. There was a good selection of well-crafted signature cocktails- the Cargo Martini, Mandarin Mojito, and Sour Cherry Caipirinha were my favorites. Loved their Chicken Satay, which is definitely a must order. The Cargo Burger Trio however was quite dry. Service was slow and relaxed, though that's exactly what we were looking for. Spent about 4-5 hours just lounging there without being bothered much.

Had a great ladies’ night last week! We were seated outside and the view was amazing. Food was very yummy too. And thanks to Cathy for the awesome service :)

My favorite place in the Pier 7. <br/><br/>Never quite understand why Asian food as in my opinion does not fit the venue... BUT, the food is always good so that's all it matters, and what do I know anyway! :)<br/><br/>Very busy ladies nights (which I tend to avoid as I actually do not mind paying for my drinks) so prefer the non-crazy busy nights to hang out with friends with food & drinks. <br/><br/>DJ's are good too... Keep it up guys!

Cargo was perfect for a girls night out. The music inside was loud and upbeat. Just what we needed to lift our spirits. The ambiance outside was calm and beautiful. The view of marina, the city lights and the amazing weather. <br/>We ordered California roll and crispy calamari for starters. The roll was YUMMY. A perfect balance of flavors. Calamari was mediocre as it was neither seasoned well nor crispy enough. My friend ordered Japanese udon noodles and it didn’t excite us that much. I’ve had waaaay better Udon noodles before. Virgin mojitos were 3/4th part ice and 1/4 part drink. Never had a more stingier drink than this. The black pepper beef was the highlight of the evening. Succulent beef with perfectly stir fried veggies and a side of rice. Recommended for all!

We've been to cargo a few times, always for drinks. The venue is great - indoor and outdoor seating with stunning panoramic views of Dubai Marina.<br/><br/>The prices are very reasonable considering the location, and the atmosphere during the weekend/ladies night is superb with the mix of clientele and trendy playlist.<br/><br/>The only complaint is that the atmosphere comes at a price - the long wait at the bar when it gets busy. Also take the stairs when you leave - the lifts take ages and are a bit of a bum fight between boozed-up patrons.

Great bar/lounge in Pier 7 overlooking the marina. Always crowded and full of ambience. Drinks are reasonably priced and the snacks are quite good. They have good offers like happy hour. Staff are helpful and friendly and the music is usually quite cool.

Done a couple birthday celebrations and weekend drinks here. Very chill atmosphere and has a perfect seating area outside for the winter, with a beautiful view of the marina docks.

Was there last week with colleagues,luckily got early and grabbed seats. Everything was great, food, staff specially the music. They were playing live saxophone and it was ladies night so you can imgine the vibes. Its a fun place not sure about normal days but ladies night was crowded.

It is a good place to spend some time with your friends, however It is good only for its view and beer. Food is very overpriced and do not taste any good. We had Cargo tasting platter that was mediocre as well as seafood platter. Service is maaa...

While asking for the small at least tiny table inside, were placed outside without any AC on the heat, hey guys give a chance to eat inside, waiting our food for so long time, on the heat, impossible, in the end we got our snacks when finished drinks 😬eat, went inside and it was over crowded, zero joy, zero service, zero satisfaction, just noted for ourself if u want to go to cargo, go full and drunk, only way to have fun

Since it was a ladies night we were celebrating my friends birthday, we had the ribeye, curry prawns and some lamb chops, lamb chop was good. Curry prawns was excellent!😘 the ribeye.. well.. it was bad! It was gamey and chewy. Me and the birthday girl didn't enjoy our ribeye. We had it medium but feels like well done.😢 ambiance is good i like the crowd they just don't have a dance floor but thats ok.. smoking area should be outside, not in the middle of the resto, people are trying to enjoy their meals and yet you can smell people smoking. One of my favorite places. Ladies night on Tuesday is good and busy. Outside seating is lovely. Good if weather is better. Service is polite and food is lovely.

Went for a special occasion...great place to be for a casual hangout. Ambience was raw yet classy.<br/><br/>Ordered 4 items all had a unique taste whether it was Schwan crispy chicken or Indonesian Nasi goreng or Tiger prawn thai curry ...everything tasted delicious.<br/><br/>A must try for oriental cusine fans.<br/><br/>Cheers!!
