Amazing Emirati food! We ordered the Legemat, kunafitna, aishu laham, chicken fouga and chicken thereed. Also, the date frappe and orange juice were really good..

In love with this place. One of my favorite destinations in Dubai. From the amazingly friendly staff that is always smiling to the exquisite food and great service. Not to mention the ambiance in which you learn about the UAE effortlessly and can always cuddle up with tea and shisha and read one of the books in their book corner. Must try!

The ambience were very pleasant and cosy with beautiful Islamic wall arts and decor all over! They have a very spacious indoor as well as outdoor sitting area with a beach view! They also have a majlis for those who wants to enjoy the food in a traditional way.

We had their Baby Chicken Meshwai Aishu Laheem both of which tasted exceptionally great and is a must try here! Everything was soo perfectly cooked and flavourful! The quality, freshness and the aroma is what makes this restaurant different from others!

This week we tried @seven_sands @jbr_official this restaurant serving authentic Emirati cuisine taking the experience to a fine dining level, located opposite Dubai eye and @bluewatersdubai .
They have worked on tradition majlis, arabesque lamps, and modern geometric golden patterns. Showing on the ground level old Dubai and upper level new Dubai. The name seven sands come from the sand collected from the seven Emirates of USE and proudly displayed in a nice presentation in the entrance. Seven Sands will take you on a cultural journey through the seven emirates.
We tried Emirati Culinary Experience which is set menu that includes iconic Emirati dishes 6 appetizers 4 mains(including harees, majboos and aishu lahem) and 4 sweets including the traditional luqaimat.
The food tasty, generous and nicely presented! It is highly recommended to try and sure we will come back!
We enjoyed a wonderful cooking class tonight, learning about Emirati cooking. The staff at Seven Sands was wonderful, they were very prepared, very hygienic. The food was yummy. I would like to go back and learn more about Emirati cooking.
This place is so nice starting from the seating and the service to the tastes of the food.
I would really recommend you to try out this restaurant and i would like to go back and try an a la carte as I went for buffet.
The food in the buffet was so yummy but they were limited choices I loved the starters and the desserts.
We were 4 people having a nice experience in a cozy restaurant with splendid food and service. The mixed grill skewers is to be recommended. Definitely a place we’re soon going to visit again.
Amazing iftar buffet. All the best flowers of Emirati food in one place. Every dish was made with perfection. Tastes of Veal harees soup, great salads, lamb Oozi biryani , kebabs and special date pudding etc still in mouth.

We love this restaurant since the buffet spread isn’t too huge - it’s just about right for a person to try in all categories - about 8-10 starters , choice of 4-5 hot and cold beverages, 6-8 main courses and 8-10 types of authentic desserts. Balanced mix of vegetarian and non veg food. The food quality is right on point - good flavor, hot food served throughout the two hours, continuously refilled and fresh taste. Extra points for their date pudding - 👌🏻.
Good place to try local cuisine in a casual and elegant setting. AED 155 for two people with the Entertainer voucher - spent well!
Iftar Buffet
Food: The spread was perfect with different variety of salads, mains and desserts. Loved all the desserts. They had the jomara dates which you don't see very often on a buffet table.
Service: Very pleasant staff and timely table clearance. Drinks and tea was on request but we have them brought to our table without any delay.
Ambience: Lovely atmosphere with light music.
Presentation: The buffet presentation was too crowded. We had to wait in long queues to reach the food. Eventually people cutting the queue (Stomach taking over discipline).
Overall experience was pleasant. Would definitely recommend.
We’ve been to plenty of restaurants for Iftar this month but nothing like the cultural Iftar hosted at Seven Sands. Every Monday and Friday during the holy month of Ramadan, Seven Sands hosts a special cultural Iftar which includes an intimate talk about Arab traditions specifically on the local culture, described and explained by Cultural Connosseur Nasif Kayed. Cultural Iftar is priced AED 255, whereas you can still have a regular Iftar at Seven Sands for just AED 155 per person. Children between 6 and 12 pay half price and children under 6 eat for free.

The dishes we ordered this time was the cheese kunefa and the date pudding. The kunefa is good but the date pudding is phenomenal! I love it every time I come here! The tea we ordered was 1001 Arabian nights which was excellent. The service was excellent and the staff really put in an effort to make you feel welcome.
I have come here many times in the past as it is in a very convenient location in JBR. Upon first entering, you notice that the ambience here is outstanding and very professionally set up.
I came here with two friends for dessert and tea. But I know from past experience there main course dishes (mixed kebab) and lamb dishes are excellent. Their appetisers were outstanding as well and nothing felt too heavy or too unfulfilling. Their shisha is is very good as well.

Date pudding is a top star and the selection of teas is amazing. I’d like to give credit to the waitress as well as she keeps checking on us.
I recommend this place for date nights and if you have friends or family visiting the city, it’s an authentic experience.

We went to Seven Sands with some friends and we enjoyed so much our experience! The staff is super friendly. Kelly was the best waitress we had since we came to Dubai (already 7 years!). The food was simply delicious. We ordered some green mango salad, 🥗 some rice with camel 🐪 and lamb meat, Aishu lanhem and a vegetable stew. All was beautifully cooked. The bread is fantastic too having two varieties: normal and with some turmeric (makes the bread yellow and tastes slightly different but I loved it!). For dessert we ordered Date Pudding and it was so so so so good, we are considering coming back just for it again! 😂 😋 100% recommendable!

We came here for buffet and had an amazing day . We had read somewhere that SEVEN SANDS is known for the authentic EMIRATI CUISINE , was curious to experience their version of Emirati cuisine .
The whole interior , cutleries and ambiance is totally worthy . We made ourselves up to the place where we can get a nice sight of Jumeirah Ferris wheel .
We started off with salads and cold appetizers to hot appetizers then to main course and then to desserts .
They are well known for their cold APPETIZERS and SALADS, I am still drooling thinking about them . Their SALAD SAUCES are simply AWSOME , their BEIRUT HUMMUS and MOHAMMARA was so good I feel like visiting this place just for these .
Soon we jumped to hot APPETIZERS , their SAMOSAS were DAMN GOOD not at all oily . They disappointed us in soup , we had heard that their lentil soup is good but that day they had some oats soup or something like which was salty n don’t tasted good .
Talking about MAIN COURSE , there were many good reviews about their FISH MAJBOOS , again disappointed as it wasn’t as authentic as heard but it was tasty and flavor packed . Tbh din like their hareesa . Among main course the only thing we felt WOW was their MUTTON GRAVY n CHICKEN SEEKH . We din go for main course much then .
DESSERTS were simply FLAVORFUL , INVITING & DELECTABLE . Among all our favorites wereDATES PUDDING & UMMALI .
This place don’t do justice to what we read about serving authentic Emirati cuisine , but we did get some DELICIOUS appetizers , main course and desserts worth a come back to this place .
Ramadan is the only month where I get to savor a multitude of cuisines almost everyday- either through invites or when you accompany your family to one of the restaurants/ their friend's home. Having said that, I appreciate iftars that are quite traditional in nature. You are transported back in time to experience what food was like back then.

Had the best hummus and chicken shish kebab!! Pure goodness, oh & of course their mock tails. Great outdoor seating with views of the largest Ferris wheel in the world. YUM YUM!!
The emarati themed iftar over here is pretty good. They do a good enough spread and do it right.
The highlights are the lentil soup and the whole lamb.
Please leave ample space for the date pudding in the end ;don't even look at the other desserts :D.
The karak tea and sulemani kehwa are sure to rejuvinate you at the end of the meal.
One complaint I do have for the management .. the air-condition upstairs needs some thought by the time u fill up one out of every two people can be seen wiping their brow. It just takes away from an otherwise great iftar.
I visited this place with my wife Nida Arshad today for the first time, in search of some good Emirati food. And we were very pleased by the food, service and the whole experience.

The ambience was very nicely done and perfect.
The food, as I said was amazing. I really liked the mixed grill, camel kofta, and baby chicken mashwai.

Seven Sands offers Emirati cuisine and I have just tried their food and was impressed. I ordered one of their specialties Aishu Lahem which is slow cooked lamb shank served on top of biryani rice and with a side of yoghurt mix. The presentation is very classical and elegant in a shining bowl. The meat was very delicious and tender. However the meat for kebab bil laban was not as great. The service was good as well. This is a place where you can enjoy a nice dinner with friends and family.

Seven Sands stands for The 7 Emirates , it’s an Emirati restaurant with a modern Twist , they make by far the best Emirati food in my opinion the quality of their food and ingredients they use are simple the best , Its not my first time here but I honestly can say today was even better than last time .
The place is nicely decorated even though it’s modern but there is still an Emirati traditional theme to it that I really liked .
The staff were super friendly especially the waitress that served me , I made her choose for me what to have and I honestly loved what I had .
This kind of places that I will definitely take my family to especially my parents .

I am not really a fan of Emirati Cuisine, because of the menu being flooded with non-vegetarian options, but I was really hankering for a different cuisine. My husband suggested Emirati cuisine. Since, Seven Sands had won What’s On Award 2017 for Favorite Middle Eastern Restaurant, I thought of giving it a try. For drinks we ordered Blue Azure, Seven Sands Cold Mezzeh for Salad, Sweet Potato Fries as a side dish, Out of the menu- Vegetable Biryani(a request executed to perfection by Chef Bassel), Vegetarian Thereed for main course and Date Pudding for desserts. Everything, right from the drinks to the dessert was excellent and changed my notion about Emirati cuisine completely. I highly recommend the date pudding since it was simply divine! I am sure it is already very popular with Non-veg eaters, but after my experience I would really recommend this place to all Vegetarians and Vegans as well to try their very limited but extremely delectable dishes.

What better time to go to an Emirati cuisine restaurant than the UAE national day !
So here we were at The Beach (after a lot of convincing done for my visiting mother in law ) on the national day with all the patriotic gusto to try out some authentic Emirati dishes. Unfortunately we had already had a long food oriented day and had to keep it light ..
The entrance is not on the beach but a little to the side, and most of the interesting seating is on the top with an unrestricted view of the blue waters island and Ain Dubai. The decor is oriental and it was good to be greeted at the entrance by smiling faces. Wasn't expecting it, but we did get a place pretty quickly. The staff was very attentive and always available, though I do believe that there wasn't a dedicated person for the particular table.
We were 4 on a table laid out for 3 , and it took them about 15 mins to set up the mat and cutlery for the 4th pax. A tad slow I would say, especially since they were pretty light when we arrived.
The food orders though were taken pretty promptly and the service was pretty quick too. Talking of food, let's get on to the interesting part ..
We started with the Mezze platter which came with 3 types of salad - Tabbouleh, a mango salad, and a rocket beetroot salad, along with hummus and
muttabble. The Tabbouleh was quite interesting and different from the regular Lebanese , Jordanian or Syrian versions. Significantly less tangy (quite to my liking) , with a nice onion flavour to it all. I was pleasantly surprised that my son lapped it up .. He has never touched Tabbouleh before !
The mango salad was delicately sweetened and had a lovely sweet and tangy interlaced flavour. Rocket and beet salad with a pomegranate sauce was mind blowing. The cream on the side really helped in cutting the tanginess of the pomegranate sauce.
The Muttabbal was well done and the hummus was also nice, smooth, with a controlled quantities of both tahini and lemon , making it a pleasure to eat.
As I mentioned earlier, we already had a heavy food day and hence decided to go for just 2 main courses.
We ordered a Vegetable Thereed ( MIL is vegetarian) and a lamb kofta .
The vegetarian Thereed one of the few vegetarian items in the menu was a delightful surprise. It is a nicely spiced (not hot) vegetable stew, served on a bed of rigga (baked thick ) bread. The spices weren't over the top , the vegetables well cooked , the bread nicely soaked to give it the flavour of all the vegetables , and a complete dish on its own. My mother in law was pleasantly surprised , and I heaved a sigh of relief ;). It was also very similar to Sindhi dish from northern India called Sale bread .
The Lamb kofta served like the Iranian joojeh or the chelo kebabs was blissful. The meat so succulent and juicy , cooked just right with buttered basmati rice was awesome. The yoghurt with mint, onions and cucumber was a lovely side to the dish. We and our appetites were completely satiated !
But inspite if the appetite being satiated, the heart wasn't :) . So we ordered desert - a warm bowl of Umm Ali . Well let me be clear. It is not the best Umm Ali that I have eaten .. but in a commercial stand alone restaurant , I think it was pretty good. No one complained .. so I guess inspite of being a little low on the milk solids , and a bit high on the cardamom , it did come together well.
The bill was presented quickly (of course on asking for it) and it was pretty quickly fulfilled. Unfortunately the entertainer was not accepted it being a public holiday and we weren't informed in advance as well.
Guess that was just a small blip in the overall fulfilling experience. In the end we all had a happy smile on our faces arising out of pure culinary satisfaction !
Well done the Seven Sands team. Next I am definitely gonna try out the breakfast ..

Excellent experience. Lovely welcome, delicious food (we had the assorted starters, aubergine parcel and camel milk ice cream), great service.
Wonderful ambience and welcoming and helpful staff. The food was delicious and satisfying . We started with Cold Mezzeh which was quite delightful along with crispy okra. For the main course we had Camel Kofta and Jisheed - a first for us and enjoyed every spoonful very much. A must for foodies who wish to try out emirati dishes.
Had a great experience last night at seven sands. The service, hospitality, ambiance and reasonable cost on the menu. You must try the date pudding and the exclusive mock-tails. Their food is out of this world. Tastyyyyy from beginning to end. I give a big shout out to Mr. Isaac Newton the Bar manager he is one person you will definitely want to be served by with his outstanding hospitality. I recommend people to visit because besides all, sitting at the balcony during the winter season is beautiful with the view of JBR you get to experience. Thank you Seven Sands team for you unforgettable experience. Will definitely visit again.

Tucked on the inside at the end of JBR is this gem of a restaurant. From the moment we entered ,we were greeted with welcoming smiles, rose water, Arabic coffee and delicious dates. The lovely hostess then showed us upstairs to our table via a beautiful winding staircase. Every single wait staff that attended to us, was pleasant in demeanour, knowledgeable about the Emirati cuisine and accommodating.
Ordered the Aishu Lahem and chicken kebab with saffron. Was suggested to switch the white rice to fouga rice with the chicken kebab dish. The food was served in a timely manner, exquisite presentation and super exquisite taste. The lamb and the chicken were moist and bursting with balanced flavours. Fouga rice was delicious, both in aroma and taste. This restaurant will break the bias of Emirati cuisine being bland. The accompanying yogurt dip was refreshing .
The drinks menu is no less. Tried the black cinnamon mojito and there was a party in my mouth. The sulaimani tea was equally good and perfect finish to the meal.
They also feature a separate closed door shisha dining area for over 18 years. Pleasantly surprised to see the elimination of second hand smoke from the family friendly dining room.
This restaurant is beautiful in decor, quiet, comfortable and pays attention to detail. They are also on the entertainer. Would recommend this restaurant to all and will definitely be going back to try out the rest of the menu, including deserts!

I won a lunch or dinner for two at Seven Sands. We came here for lunch. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with a warm welcome, accompanied with Arabic coffee and dates.
Our Lunch was a set menu for two:
MEZZEH & SALATTAT (Appetizers) Served with freshly baked bread
- Green Mango Salad: Tossed with lemon juice, olive oil and spring onions
Lemon Bezar Salad with Yact Cheese: Rocca leaves on marinated sliced beetroot with lemon bezar, olive oil and pomegranate dressing
- Hommous: Chickpea puree with sesame paste, flavoured with tahini and lemon juice
- Moutabal: Grilled eggplant puree with garlic tahini sauce, flavoured with yoghurt and lemon juice
- Shark Sambousa: Savoury golden fried pastry stuffed with shark, infused with bezar spice, served with
sweet chili dip
ALWEDAM (Main Courses)
- Chicken Fouga: Fouga is a traditional Emirati dish where selected spices and meats are cooked together with perfumed stock
- Aishu Lahem: A generous portion of rice and lamb, flavoured with ginger, garlic, dried lime and saffron, served with yoghurt sauce.
- Fish Fouga: Fouga is a traditional Emirati dish where selected spices and fish are cooked together with perfumed stock.
- Harees: Abu Dhabi homemade wheat and fresh veal, blended to perfection served with ghee.
HELW (Desserts)
- Aseeda Bobar: Warm sweet pumpkin puree, flavoured with cardamom and saffron
- Seven Sands Sticky Date Pudding: Aromatic date cake soaked in a rich toffee sauce
- Legemat: Popular Emirati sweets fried to order and drizzled with our date syrup, white sesame seeds and pistachios.

They also served us Jabal Hafeet Mocktail: Fresh basil with a sweet and sour mix, slices of cucumber, fresh basil leaves and soda water
The food was unique. Appetizers were all delicious. My favorite main course is Aishu Lahem. Desserts were a highlight. I did not enjoy the mocktail. Although it is a set menu for two but food is enough for 3 or 4 people. Service was outstanding!

I was never a fan of Emirati food till I ventured into this sheikland but once I got the hang of this acquired taste there was no look back. Basic ingredients, less spice and warm taste is all what Emirati cuisine is all about and I believe due to less spice it is accepted by diverse nationalities with open arms.

I've had this preconceived notion that Authentic Emirati Cuisine would be bland & not pleasing to the spice bursts that I'm in love it. Even though I had heard good reviews about Seven Sands located in JBR, I was not too happy that we were going there - silly me!🙊
The process in changing my mind started the second we entered this classy joint - beautifully decorated interiors - definitely instagrammable! All the servers were so graciously polite that it spoils other restaurants for you! Presumably, the inspiration for the title Seven Sands is due to the different types of sand procured from the Seven Emirates🤓 A celebration of the rich heritage of the Seven Emirates.
Let me try to keep it short & sweet about the food - huge effort coz all I wanna do is rave about it😍 Jisheed with Prawns was a novelty experience for me as this was the first time I tasted Shark - loved the whole experience of the succulent shredded shark mixed with perfectly grilled prawns, flaky pastry and rice. Tangy red (tomato?) sauce complemented it just right❤ Aishu Laham - an Emirati biriyani lightly flavored with distinctive spices but the star in it, is of course, the Lamb. Tender and melts in your mouth - check out the pix😋 Yoghurt mint sauce went along superbly with it. It goes without saying Hummous was lusciously creamy along with THE perfect bread. Mocktails were just ok.
Onto desserts - the description on the menu for Kunafitna called out to us: A Levantine cream pastry soaked in infused rose water syrup with cardamom crème brulee and tropical fruits. Two words: Pure bliss💕 It goes without saying that shisha was immaculate - during winter, it would be amazing to experience it outdoors.
As usual, my good friend The Entertainer helped in cost effective savings😁 No prizes in guessing I will definitely be heading back here - Breakfast is supposed to be The Bomb @Seven Sands!
All in all, a really nice experience. If you've ever asked yourself what Emirati food is - this is a great place to get that question answered. Great food, really lovely flavors and all at a very good price. And the date syrup they serve with some of their starters - wow👌
Visited etihad museum outlet. Each and every item that was ordered was pitch perfect. From starters to desserts everything was tasty in every bite. Try yourself.
To be honest, it's my first time to try really super good food , we ordered the Kibbeh, Aishu Laham, Emirati vegetable pie and all of the dishes were cooked perfectly, I highly recommend this place and staff are super friendly and welcoming.
The place is very nice, quiet and it have a nice view The service was a little late and either we order same deserts and the said its not available
The service is excellent and the food is good too. The location is good because you can have your lunch or dinner and then go for shopping around or go for a walk on the beach.

We visited Seven Sands for Iftar just last night and I feel compelled to write a review after seeing the negative ones that come before mine.
We thoroughly enjoyed our Iftar experience and would definitely recommend it to anyone who asks us where to go. Obviously if you are looking for a hotel-based ridiculously huge buffet spread then this isn't the place to go, but if you are looking for a cosy, authentic, well thought out Iftar then this is the one for you.
The service was brilliant from beginning to end, with drinks served quickly and refilled swiftly throughout our meal. Soups were brought round to the tables a minute or two before Iftar began, which was welcomed by everyone in the restaurant.
The food selection was small but beautiful, incredibly tasty and very authentic.
The date pudding on the dessert station was to die for! I went back for seconds as it was simply that good!
We are looking forward to visiting again to try the a la crate menu once Ramadan is over. Thank you so much to the whole team.

We took Tasty Thursdays to Seven Sands 2 days ago, the moment you walk in you see culture and staff waiting to welcome you with smiles, rose water and more. 😀
It has two floors so you will be able to find seating. But may i suggest the 2nd floor, smokers or non smokers you will have a great view of the soon to be competed Dubai Eye which already looks absolutely amazing! 😍
Now the food... the choices you will have you can't decide what to go for because they all sound delicious! From appetizers to main course to dessert! Its all 100% yummy and all 100% Emirati! 😁
Everything about this place is delicious. I took some guests here for dinner after reading some good reviews and decided to give this place a shot.
The decor is classy yet subtle. We were seated upstairs by the friendly staff on the non-smoking side. We started with some mixed appetizers, hummus and halloumi. It was all brilliant.
We then ordered some chicken and beef kebabs, the shrimp fouga and the lamb shank. I cannot stress enough how divine the lamb shank tasted. It was juicy, flavourful and tender. The rice and nuts complemented it perfectly.
The mocktails were also good. I wish we had tried the desserts but were too full by the end of the meal.
Definitely going back to this place and getting that lamb shank. I've found a new favorite place in Dubai.
I decided to review Seven Sands on on the last few days of Ramadan, because this is one of the best options for Eid lunch/dinner and it is going to be similar to the Iftar buffet. Seven sands serves traditional Emirati cuisine and promises you a cultural journey through the seven emirates (incase if you were wondering about the name) but there’s something different, it is that unique modern twist that makes it one of the popular Emirati restaurants.
I ordered one main dish (beef tenderloin) and got another main for free (grilled catch of the day) both very tasty. Service is friendly and great
I can't express how much I love when a restaurant can depict Emirati food in such a tasteful manner. I can't say it tasted just like home because it had some Indian infusion to it. There's a specific way to cook Emirati meat and that needs a local cook to perfect it. But all in all, great food plus service equals happy consumers.
I visited Seven Sands for Iftar during Ramadan last year and was very impressed.
The Iftar buffet was absolutely phenomenal offering a variety of Emirati dishes.
I must dine-in again!
The decor is gorgeous and the service is great.
Definitely recommend.

Heard some rly good reviews of this place. Decided to give it a try finally.
Had their saffron rice with lamb (description waa generous portions ) and boy was it good and generous. Lamb was superbly done to perfection. And rice was flavourful along with cooked rly well.
Had their kinafa. Something diff - not the usual kinafa ppl r used to. It was yummy but a but small for my personal liking. Also no syrup which left the crispy parts dry hmm. Something to offer on the side if customer wants it or not ?
Nonetheless next visit will try the shark , apparently it's rly good too.
Hi all, passing by JBR the walk you can find end of the beach Seven Sands where with my husband and my family I didn't expect to have this experience , starting from the door where the hostess were more than friendly I had feeling only to come in , because of her welcoming , going up we have tried Arabic coffee , a little bit not ok , not like our coffee , but the dates amazing , we were escorted by the manager Arabic lady she was really amazing showing us all the wall and telling us seven sands story , also the staff food , service were excellent , highly recommended the restaurant and I will come back from Italy to visit you guys and ladies , Ciao grazie mille.

Great food. The vibe of this Emirati restaurant is just so classic yet with a twist of urban styled dining. The flavours in the simplest of dishes here make you want to come back for more....
Visited today alone during lunch. What a surprise! Fine food in an elegant ambiance. It's a launge with great decor, prompt service. But the main actor on stage is the food. Apart from the the look of the dishes, some look like real piece of art, the combination of ingredients is original and looks authentic. I think this will become a frequent venue for me, family and friends.

I've been in the UAE for almost 3 years and I must say that I've never tried authentic Emirati cuisine that is why my friend and I went here for dinner.
I like the location of this restaurant and the interiors are not over the top. It's classy and inviting.
The prices are reasonable except for the luqaimat, which I think is overpriced. The food is good but not as tasty as I expected them to be. The sauce that comes with most of the dishes are really good though.
The staff is friendly and helpful but I must say that there were only few people in the restaurant at that time.

Ok let me start by saying I passed many times in front of Seven Sands but wasn't so sure I want to try it as I know Emirati food has slot of rice and I'm not a big fan of rice.
But the day has come after 5 years in Dubai that I should try Emirati food.
Didn't have high expectations to be honest but ended up rating a restaurant for the first time ever as 5!
We order 3 dishes fish fouga, chicken thareed and aishu lahem.
The lamb and chicken were cooked to perfection that you don't even need to use your hands to split them from the bones.
I don't normally like this kind of rice but this one was just wow not oily and the spices were just perfect.
And fish is doesn't even feel like its fried, just perfect.
The chicken thareed is a bit of a spicy dish but just perfect spicy, me not being a fan of spicy food, this is something I can take.
Besides we ordered a mixed mezza dish which was again great and finally a Black Cinnamon Mojito, don't leave without trying it.
Even the staff were very knowledgeable and helpful.
Great stuff guys keep it up.

We've had a lovely traditional meal here. It has great ambience, delicious food, good staff and it's not too expensive either. We ordered the hummus which was yum and came with lots of hot, fresh Arabic bread. For mains we had the chicken fouga which again great! We asked got some extra caramelised onions, and the staff was happy to oblige. We finished our meal with a yello bellow drink and a mint and grape shisha (which you can also smoke inside in the summer heat). We left very happy!
the atmosphere of the restaurant is great... it has a nice viewas well... food was done in a perfect way.... it tastes really good! I highly recommend especially for people who would like to know more about Emirati culture and food but in a modern way!
As a raised Dubai kid, I’m all about the third-culture. Being brought up here has imbibed a love for Middle Eastern cuisine, an understanding of their culture and has definitely made me more ‘worldly’. I’m really glad that people are now becoming more curious and embracing Emirati cuisine. Seven Sands, located in Jumeirah Beach Residence (JBR) is one of the newer restaurants that have popped up around town.
A great place for Emirati food. The restaurant by itself is quite specious and well done up keeping the local flavor in mind.
The Seven Sands Fusion breakfast is more than enough to content 2 persons. A nice Karak and a tall glass of deliciously sweet date frape to complete the Friday brunch.
Ample outdoor seating can be enjoyed with sisha and the view of the beach in the cooler months. The ambiance and staff are great!

Had an Iftar buffet here today. All diahes were genuinely well done and gave the best local arab food taste though variety being very less. Harees was one of the best I tried so far. Good complimentary drinks. Om Ali was warm and soothing to the taste buds. Excellent service with friendly waitors. Overall a good experience but a bit high priced for the less variety they offer.
Seven Sands located in the heart of JBR, its walkable from JBR 2 Tram station. The place has beautiful ocean views from outside sitting corridors. The food is okey. Tried some local dishes and iftar menu which was amazing. If your planning to have dinner and your in JBR. Then this place is worth a try ;) will i visit again? Definitely Yes.

An Emirati dining experience for iftari in seven Sands was very good. Name seven Sands came from the 7 emirates making the United Arab Emirates.. in the entrance you will see on both sides there 7 different types of Sands collected and placed on the floor with a glass.. It was a great experience with loads of chats and loads of food 🤓
It's a buffet for 145 per person and doesn't include drink except water during Ramadan..
So separately I ordered yellow bello it's passion fruit and soda mixed drink and it will take you to the height of tanginess..
Loved the drink.
First we were served amazing huge succulent dates and 3 drinks laban apricot and vimco.. Then we were served Hargrave soup and it was tasty.
Later we joined the buffet and it had
■Harees which is kind of mixed lentil and vegetable smashed food which had a very thick consistency and was something new for me.
■ Chicken biriany was average as the chicken were bit over fried .
■ Chicken mughlai was a tasty curry and went well with white rice.
■Cous cous with mutton and vegetable was the icon of the buffet served in an huge plate filled with vegetables couS cous and rack of soft meat..
■ Mixed vegetable and fried potatoes
■ Meat lasagna was average and since its an Emirati restaurent we didn't really expect to have a lasagna in buffet but enjoyed it though .
■Boiled fish with mashed potato
■ Jasheed was shreaded meat with a tangy oil I really loved this item as it's totally different and unique in taste.
■ Selection salad hummus babaganoush salad and fattoush was excellent.
■ Dessert selection had 3 different types of chocolate cakes and kunafa with cheese..Well kunafa was not that crispy and umm Ali had a certain strong essence so I was more in to cakes..
There was also khahisa and pudding in the buffet.
Service location servers were really nice and attentive through out the time.
Server Ernesto was polite and knowledgeable about the food and service..

Seven Sands did not disappoint! It may be hard to believe in a city where there are supposedly over 5,000 restos there are not that many authentic Emirati cuisine ones, and this is one of them.
I went with some light choices because it was 12 noon and HOT!

Staff was very friendly. Your hands are washed with rose water when when you walk in.
We went with the Yact Cheese with Aseeda salad, the Kibbeh Al Bezar, and Fish Fouga. Drink: a refreshing mocktail called Jabal Hafeet (after Al Ain's mountain 😊) made with fresh basil, sweet and sour mix, cucumber slices, fresh lemon and soda water. Instant cooler. Loved the selection of regional teas and its dainty presentation. lt was all done well! There was no room for dessert, though.
Went to Seven Sands for a late afternoon lunch and shisha. We sat outside at sunset and had a view of the beach! The fresh juice drinks, the shisha, and the food were all amazing. I had a falafel sandwich which was 15 dirhams (!) It was a fantastic value. Additionally we had hummus and my friend has a desert. All amazing. The service was on point and the shisha is beyond description. It is by far the best shisha I have had in Dubai.
Very good food, service was slow but staff are so polite and assisting, They recommended the menu set and it was very good choice. Bread refill should be more frequent, overall we would love to visit again
Great great great experience! The restaurant offers a version of local food with a touch of modern. I was invited and not paying so I didn't really check th prices but the quality of the meal was excellent.
The salads are just great (Signature Seven Sands is my favourite),the shark sambosahk are amazing. All the main dishes like Lamb and Chicken with rice are so tasty and delicious! The desserts were very good as well. I suggest to book a table on the terra e or inside at the 1st level. The ground floor is freezing.
Corteus and attentive waiters, the chef came outside to check if we were satisfied and I saw him doing the same with other tables,he is an amazing character as well.

This place looks fancy but it's actually very affordable and it has an excellent location (jbr with sea view). We ordered an amazing mocktail with berries, a chicken kebab and prawn fouga, followed by shisha, loqamat and Arabic coffee (one cup is complimentary!). It is authentic an Emirati cuisine, the ambience inside is lovely and they have a terrace outside. Hardly ever I go to a place where the food is good, the price is reasonable, the service is excellent and the shisha is amazing and this is it! The food was tasty, nicely presented and cooked to perfection. The service was extremely attentive and friendly. The shisha: we ordered watermelon and mint and it was great! Excellent value for money, good location, good service, great food and surprisingly good shisha. Highly recommended!
Just as you pass by adoring the stunning JBR walk area & scenic beauty of beach , amongst the line of eateries you will find one of the best Emirati cuisine conveniently tucked in on one side just near the end of JBR . The restaurant has an ideal location with its two capacious floors . A very well lit restaurant with the availability of very spacious Verandha ( covered balcony) as well. The sea views from first floor & and location is admirable.

It's all about expectations Vs actual experience. We expected a 4.7 rating, some of the dishes met our expectations, others were like any other Lebanese restaurant. However, the service was very slow and if I may say, poor. If there wasn't enough space on our tables to accommodate all dishes, they didn't offer us side tables (we saw them lying around so clearly wasn't a question of availability), but very clumsily kept pushing things over. They also charged us for 2 puddings we didn't order and it took some time to sort the bill out.
That said, the food and ambience are the drawing forces for this place. I definitely wouldn't mind going again, especially to try out the breakfast spread. Below are the ratings for each dish we ordered:
