I really appreciate the attentive touch of the staff. We went for early lunch and it was impressive. One specific individual was outstanding ( Ivona ). We even recommended to our friends who were looking for a birthday spot and they went the following day. With the current situation if the service is excellent, we will speak more about it. Had a lovely lunch dinner at Maine for my sister's birthday. The place is nice, with beautiful interiors.
The fish tacos were delicious, same for the Truffle pizza, goes without saying, and the Burrata YUM!!!
I was disappointed with vegan pizza though. Way too oily.

I loved everything about my experience! The truffle pizza was very good, the drinks were amazing and the staff were very professional and they are mainly the reason why I’d come back because at least they’re reasonable and caring which sometimes it’s hard to find 😋. I really felt like they were taking into consideration the customer’s emotions and honestly one of the few places that would put customers first. From food to drinks to staff, the overall experience was amazing.
I love every food they serve my favorite is the fish tacos and the lobster highly recommended!! Must visit and have the awesome experience and come back as we always do..

Not many places in Dubai is meant to be an oyster place. Maine is one of city’s oyster destination, not a big variety but you can always get it here with a glass of good wine.
Pricey place in general, but good food and good vibe.
We had oysters, ceviche, tartars, chowder - all was good.

I have been to Maine for gathering with friends on their busiest nights. We were a group of 10-15. First of all, the reservation works well and you don’t face last minute surprises at Maine. The ambiance is great and you can enjoy your night in a cool venue with cool music. On the day we went there was live music and a cool guy was singing just next to our table. He was very successful to engage the tables into the songs and dances.
We ordered oysters and food to share like pizza, salad,carpaccio. Everything came on time and food was delicious.
The staff was motivated to support and they were proactive.

A brasserie with a beautiful ambiance and very good food. Apart from their signature raw seafoods, some of the food like truffle pizza, cod taco and lobster rolls are also a must try. Reserve in advance as it’s always crowded

Maine is the best place (so far) for seafood lovers. Those who wAna find the rare catch and the best seafood variety in Dubai along with some cool cocktails should make a visit to this lively cool bar and grill. I loved their seafood tower especially oysters and mussels. The menu says it comes under raw food but almost everything is cooked.
Also to try their grilled octopus, mushroom and truffle pizza and fish tacos. Tacos were quite filling and very well made. The pizza smelled amazing and was served hot so one could actually appreciate the long lasting taste of melted cheese in their mouth.
We were served by Ismail with a smile and he was way too courteous and prompt. Made good recommendations without any hesitation.
Keep up the great work guys! And you will stay busy 365 days :)
Amazing restaurant from top to bottom with really professional waiters, waitresses, chefs and mixologists. Everyone is a professional, reminding me of a European restaurant. The light that floods the restaurant in the day time makes you feel like you're outside of Dubai even in the hot summer months when they are forced to close off their outside terrace. Not to be missed if you're after fresh delicious seafood with a great dining experience attached.
We went for my husband’s birthday with an early dinner reservation. This was our first visit to The Maine. The decor and ambience, the polite staff- especially our server Lawrence with his recommendations, the fresh oysters- everything was amazing! We tried 5 different kinds they were so fresh and absolutely hit the spot!
We were about to leave the place when the entire staff came by cheering and wishing my husband a Happy Birthday 🥳 Even though this happens in a lot of places, it just stood out in The Maine and made our evening even more memorable!
Overall one of the best meals we have had in Dubai!

My husband booked lunch at the Maine for my birthday. We decided to go for the brunch option plus we ordered some oysters to start for 10 AED each (not a bad price for Dubai) and everything exceeded our expectations! First off, the service, it was very attentive and friendly at the same time, all the staff made us feel so welcomed (and they even brought warm gluten free bread rolls without even asking, as my husband had mentioned on the phone I am allergic). The quality of the food is really high and even if the brunch is a set menu, you definitely don’t leave the table without being stuffed. They also brought me an extra dessert with a candle for my birthday! it is not a cheap place but it is worth it! We cannot wait to be back to celebrate another special occasion

A very nice place , recommended, the waiters are very friendly and helpful. The drinks are very tasty , tried the Moscow mule and it was amazing . A bit expensive though.

Wide selection of oysters including my favorites - fine de Claire and Bellon. Steak frites are a manageable size. And the wild salmon is divine! That Rhum Baba packs a punch! Friendly service.
Great Food, friendly staff; i liked that they support planet sustainability. The salmon fillet and tuna salad were a favorite. Roasted garlic and bread was also a hero on the table. The place just gets extremely noisy at some point as the tables are quite close to one another.

My experience at The Maine was excellent. The staff were very attentive and friendly. The quality and quantity of the food was very satisfying and big enough for two people. I loved the chill vibes, and I would definitely visit again. A few reccomendations would be the Jerk Crabocado, the Mushroom & Truffle Pizza and the Rocky Road Brownie. Every bite was filled with great flavour, and not to mention, it was absolutely mouth watering. If you're feeling adventurous like my family and I, try the oysters, it really is slimy yet satisfying :)

We went to the Maine with my husband on Thursday night without booking and got a table for 2 hrs which is fair enough. So friendly service!! You don’t feel you are in the restaurant, you feel home! Super nice! I’ve ordered grilled octopus and halibut - they were beautiful, from A to Z, and my husband took a flank steak with fries and fish taco - he was surprised how tasty that was! Overall experience is 7 stars and we will come back with a bigger group! Great job!!
Finally visited after obsessing over the menu for weeks, reservation was fast and easy. I came for lunch, its very lively and has a very rustic decor which goes with the menu and concept, the waiters are nice and ready to help which is different and better than a lot of other similar restaurants. I loved the food and the only downturn was that they ran out of oysters which is surprising since most people come to try them out. Its more overpriced than fine dining restaurants in Dubai.

Donot be fooled this is an amazingly yummy restaurant with a bar. In simple terms cool vibes and decor , great service and yummy yummy food . If you like oyster it’s a plus .

My favourite seafood restaurant in Dubai. If you love oysters, this is the perfect place. They have as well great beef steak too. Love the decor and no matter which day of the week you go they are always busy. Staff very friendly too.

It was hard to get a table, as Wednesday's is ladies night.
We manage to book at 7.45pm, but the traffic was terrible to reach the hotel.
The place is very cool and they have valet parking, but we got a table by the bar and was very noisy and not comfortable at the end.
We had a selection of oysters and champagne. All were very fresh.
We add some Dibba bay oysters very good (a bit salty at the beginning but sweet at the end), and the Charcoal Octopus which was delicious and perfectly cooked.
He had a very professional and great server, I don't remember his name but I guess he was Ukranian. Thanks a lot for your service!
I may say the only thing I didn't;t like is that they push us to leave the table... and we had spend around 1.300aed in our bill and we could spend much more if they didn't;t push us out...
This place is a hidden treasure at the Hilton Double Tree in Marina. The staff is very nice and friendly. We had a couple of starters, Foie Gras Terrine, Fisherman's Catch of the day was Sea Bass. Great food and service. Thanks :)

Crispy crab (soft shell crab): the crab was really properly fried and it was really tasty too!
Cedar salmon: the salmon was very tender and properly seasoned, and it was my favourite dish of the night!
clam pasta: this dish was also nice, but not the strongest dish of the night
Rye me a river: this cocktail was really balanced and complex!

We had few orders as it was more for drinks so this grading is not fully on the food part of it, the Oyster were good but we have to come back again for a full dinner experience

I went to Maine for a birthday on a Friday. The place was packed but it wasn't noisy or smoky. The fish tacos and French fries I ordered were delicious and the service was excellent. We sat outdoors and caught the DSF fireworks which they cleverly dimmed the lights of the restaurant for. Definitely recommend for a fun evening where you can have a conversation with people. There is valet parking too which was great.

My first visit was 2 years ago and I have been there several times after. Birthdays, dinners and brunch. It's been consistently great every single time.
It's best to go as a group so you can share a few items. Standouts include: Truffle Pizza, Fish Tacos, Brussel Sprouts, Padron Peppers, Tuna Tartare, Octopus, Steak.. honestly I could add everything on the menu to this list.
Whenever you are in the mood of oysters, definitely go here! You won't leave disappointed ! The oysters and really fresh and not farmed.

I enjoyed many kinds of oysters! They were very fresh and creamy and tasty. Drinking white wine with oysters was pretty good! The ambience was casual and staff was friendly and kind. I think here is one of the best place to eat oysters in Dubai! One problem is a heavy traffic jam in JBR!
Went for ladies night and what fun melange of warmth, chaos, fun, heat and noise. The food is good, lobster roll, steak, tuna tartare. Ladies must go to the bar for their complimentaries. Outdoor is lovely and the music lively. The service staff has personality and flair. You must book in advance.
First time here and so we tried out the Loch Fyne oysters as recommended by our server - so damn good! We also had the Maine lobster, fish and chips and mussels in garlic and white wine - a must try. To end our meal we tried out the creme brûlée and that had just the right amount of sweetness and crunch to it from the perfect caramel on top. Would highly recommend the sea food here!

The Maine Oyster Bar & Grill is Dubai’s first homegrown New England Seaside Brasserie. I don’t know what the folks at the DoubleTree in JBR smoke in their teepee but I want some; so many of their gigs are smash hits – Maine, Ramusake, Copper Dog, and of course, Stereo Arcade. The interior of Maine could have been designed by Ralph Lauren, it is the epitome of dressed-down, East Coast elegant…with a little seaside thrown-in. This applies to the outdoor terrace as much as the indoor bar and dining area.
Simply amazing! The oysters are super fresh and delicious, the drinks are so good too. The decor is classy and so is the ambiance. I love this place!
So far I can say that this amazing place gave to me and my friends one of the best night in Dubai!
We went there for a ladies night on Wednesday and we were actually surprised about the great vibes, the warm atmosphere, the amazing music from their dj and the excellent service from all the team! After that we moved to a table inside in the dining area and we had a fantastic food experience with the specialities of the place, oysters and sea food! 100% we will be back there, actually we can’t wait to come back! I wanna thanks indeed the amazing waiter who served us with his amazing skills and the excellent educations, thank you Dario (waiter which I highly recommend) and thank you so much to all the team and management that gave us only the best!

I recently joined la Chaîne des Rôtisseurs, an international gastronomic association of individuals sharing an appreciation of fine dining and the culinary arts. On 20 November my first dinner was at The Maine Oyster Bar & Grill
The restaurant is nestled within the Double Tree Hilton JBR, the place is pleasingly laid-back, yet elegant. The service was top-notch, the cuisine was amazing and the over all dining experience was brilliant.
The dinner menu was specially developed for la Chaîne:
1- Octopus Carpaccio & Razor Clam Ceviche (10/10): red onion, green olives, herb oil, pickled red onion, guava and volcano salt
2- Lobster Carabinero Ravioli (10/10): caviar imperial, spinach, coriander, basil oil
3- Canadian Tenderloin (20/10): AAA Angus tenderloin served medium, seared foie gras, truffle pan haggerty & port wine jus. That meat was cooked to perfection, it was juicy, full of flavor and and so tender that it was speaking to my senses. The truffle pan haggerty is lovely winter warmer which worked perfectly well as an accompaniment to an amazing tenderloin.
4- Chocolate Amande Marquise (10/10): Gianduja, almond dacquoise, sesame tuile.
This was not a regular dinner for me, this was a degustation and learning experience combined. I’ve tasted many things for the first time. I got introduced to so many new experiences:
1- Carabinero: one of the most coveted prawns in kitchens worldwide, Carabineros are a large deep-sea prawn species that hail from Eastern Atlantic into the Mediterranean Sea.
2- Pan Haggerty: a special version of the traditional Northumbrian dish containing thinly sliced potato, then onion, then grated cheese, with a mixture of truffle. .
3- Gianduja: the sweet chocolate spread containing hazelnut paste, invented in Turin during Napoléon's regency
Great spot for after work drinks. Amazing offer for happy hours and oysters every Thursday. Friendly bartenders and good vibes overall. Also available outside seatings.
Stylish place: you can go just to drink and stay at the bar with a nice atmosphere.
If you want to eat crudités is the right place: they have a good selection for different kind of plates (crab, oyster, prawn , etc).
I tasted as a started the rolling lobster and as a main the tuna and both were very good

Having heard quite a few great reviews, we visited the Maine for some lunch. To be honest, the setting was lovely and so was the key lime pie but I wasn't overly impressed with the lobster Poutine. It was rich and indulgent but definitely not worth the 115aed for a whole pot of great steak fries and a small lobster tail. We also ordered the tuna tartare which came with a creamy avocado base. Again the avocado had a lot of lime which I love but it overpowered the Tuna. I can't fault the key lime pie, loved it!
I can't believe I haven't visited Maine earlier enough in the year! Fantastic restaurant with a long bar serving great cocktails and food. You've got to be a seafood lover as this place dishes out some gems from the ocean. I couldn't take a lot of pictures as I was busy eating. But from what I can remember, we ordered oysters, mushroom and truffle pizza, chargrilled octopus, grilled seafood platter which had half a lobster, shrimp and scallops, and crispy fish tacos. We ordered a few sides: charred Brussels sprouts, wild mushrooms sautéed in salted butter, grilled asparagus and home cut fries. The music was fantastic as well which made the whole experience memorable. Definitely going back again!
Great deal of compliments can be said about this place: delicious, cosy, affordable. If you want to experience a superb food in a cool environment, make sure you don't miss The Maine Oyster. Do reserve in advance cause the restaurant is always full ( one of the reasons that its located at the end of JBR). Nicely dressed people, and food is a separate story. Great selection of fresh seafood can be found here, beautiful and interesting combinations. As for me, huge fun of oysters - truly paradise. Attentive staff. Definitely worth a try.

I absolutely dining out around Dubai and The Maine is one of my favorite places. Not only is the food yummy, but the atmosphere is always great too. What I love is that it isn't one of those too large restaurants that due to size alone feels cold and empty. The Maine is always welcoming.
Onto the food- you can't go wrong with the fresh oysters as well as the avocado and tuna tartare. Also- two words: Lobster Poutine. Lobster, french fries, cheese and gravy. Thanks me later!
The best grilled octopus in town, a great selection of oysters, and packed with beautiful people. It's nice to go eat somewhere and see a bustling crowd. Although not a big fan of the entrance, and sometimes warmer than enjoyable thermostat, their food is great.

Love the styling and decor - very cool and smart. The service was really good. From the reservation process to our waiter. Very good attention to detail and the ordering process is very personal.
A warm bread roll with butter and garlic is served as complimentary. For starters we order the Tuna tartar, Scallops and the Burrata - all were really good. As mains we had the Dover Sole, Side order of Prawns and the Brussels sprouts. Our sole was slightly over done but the flavors were good. The Prawns are a nice size and the Brussel sprouts were different and tasty!
Will definitely go back!
A nice place to chill drink and eat. The Moscow mule I ordered coukd have been better but the meat cuts were superb. Some of the appetisers was good and others were average. The waiters werw helpful and the service was timely.
I love The Maine. The ambience makes me think of cocktail parties in the 80's. Food is exceptional, I tried their Spicy shrimp spaghetti, Grilled chicken with mash on two occasions and both dishes were 😍 My favorite on the menu is the key lime pie, sweet, tangy with a lovely textured crust. It gets really busy on ladies nights, else a lovely place for quiet conversations. The gentleman who is the manager, is amazing. He really takes care of his guests, it's a shame I don't remember his name rn. Amazing food and people!
Been to Maine several times,sometimes just for drinks or lunch. Decided to book for dinner on Sunday evening since i was sure this place could be the most buzzy restaurant around Jbr. And it was like that. Out with friends from aperitif to the main each course was delicious. Our waiter was very friendly and helpful. If you like Bloody Mary they have few to choose from. The restaurant decor as well it is very trendy. It is not very cheap but at the end of the day, I rather to pay a bit more and have this kind of food and service. Perhaps this is the only reason why I don't see many people rating this nice place 5 stars.

The Maine Oyster Bar & Grill located in JBR seems like a great fine dining place to grab a few drinks with the mates. I went there for my first time on Cucumber day and had a marvelous time. The décor is really grand and the vibe seems pretty lively. I would say it is inclined fine dining as opposed to being a party bar but it is still a lovely place to get LIT on the weekend.
Their fancy chandeliers adding a great look to the overall ambiance dazzled me. In addition to their awesome indoor area they also have outdoor seating to accommodate larger crowds and they have pretty fancy lights out there too. I interacted with about 5 of their staff members in the course of the night with just the odd question and all of the times they were very helpful and took the time to step out from their busy schedules to assist me. A place with great customer service is a place that I like and that is why I decided to write a review about them.
I unfortunately didn’t get an opportunity to try their food but all I can say is that I have only good things about it and that I will most definitely be back to eat some of their great menu items that I have heard so much about.

What a great gem, hidden in the loading area of the Double Tree Hilton. Arriving at the venue in taxi or by own vehicle is equally perfect as the valet service is quick and efficient, no hassle or long waiting periods like at most hotels in Dubai... Upon entry of the venue, which is a bit of a mystery as to what awaits inside, however once the door swings open, a beautiful and perfectly decorated restaurant and bar area is a real treat for the eyes. Non pretentious with a casual dining area and a terrace which overlooks the gulf and in perfect view of the Dubai eye. Honestly, the location is just perfect! Dishes prepared here are so scrumptious but it has a homely touch to it, which my guests and I could not get enough of.The service staff are all so trendy and have a flair for interacting with the guests, with a sense of true passion, which is very rare to find in Dubai nowadays. This is the perfect place for an after work drink or a full on family dinner experience. We loved every minute we spent there! Almost forgot to mention, Wednesdays are just absolutely amazing with a buzzing bar and a great music set by the DJ. I highly recommend you to go and experience it for yourself! Good job by the team.

Wednesday night we went to The Maine Oyster Bar and Grill for dinner and ladies night. I was pleasantly surprised by the buzz and vibe of the place - the restaurant was packed, the bar busy and lively and the whole place kinda got us excited! And the food was brilliant!! For starters, I had the Roasted Scallops (AED 85) - pan seared scallops served on a bed of smooth, supple and gorgeous butter sauce (I had to Google beurre blanc but no wonder it's a French classic!) and beef bacon bits. Delicious!
I had the Fishermans Catch of the Day for my main course - whole sea bass fillet chargrilled on live charcoal with lemon and olive oil (AED 175) - perfectly cooked, light and a lots of it!! Now, I don't have pictures - but you have to take my word for it! The Charred Brussel Sprouts (AED 35) were the BEST I've ever had!!! You have to, have to try them!! .

Wednesday night is ladies night @themainedxb - free white, red or rosè wine from 8pm. The only catch is that you can only have this at the bar - ladies are not even allowed to order at the bar and bring it back to the table to enjoy while having dinner. I know, a bit silly!!

From the minute u walk in u are greeted with a smile and a warm welcome. Our waitress sara gorgeous with curly hair was amazing and friendly she knew what to suggest and understood and explained the menu clearly. We had her suggestions and they were good. But the best part was their customer service and attention to details even though they were quite busy. Thank u

A cozy brasserie located at the DoubleTree by Hilton JBR.
**Valet Parking Only** (stamped at the reception)
The restaurant has indoor and outdoor seatings and is very lively; we highly recommend reservations.
The place is perfect for seafood lovers but also caters for non seafood cravers and is famous for their steaks.
The service was a bit slow, however we were entertained by the complimentary bread with butter and grilled garlic cloves that tasted good!
The orders were:
4/5 ⭐️ Freshly Shucked Oysters - very fresh and taste like the ocean! Served with fresh horseradish, lemon, and tabasco.
5/5 ⭐️ Lobster Roll - A cold specialty served with chips. The roll itself is very soft and fresh, and the filling is really good!
5/5 ⭐️ Crispy Fish Tacos - Crispy battered cod served on soft tacos with delicious pico de gallo and lemon aoili sauce; the crispiness is perfect.
4/5 ⭐️ Steak Frites - Asked for a medium rare but got a medium; however the taste, juiciness and tenderness of the Wagyu meat was great. Served with delicious home cut fries and béarnaise sauce.
3.5/5 ⭐️ Rocky Road Brownie - Served in a pot, right out of the oven. The brownie itself tastes good but the marshmallows and crunchy nuts were very few; can definitely have more!
The whole dinner experience was excellent, the music is very lively and the outdoor view is really nice too. Will definitely be back.
