Burj Al Arab!!! The same says it all. The ambiance was grand. Beautiful decorations around Christmas time... Loved their service.

I had booked this place for my wifés birthday and everything went pretty well as we planned. The service, food and ambience will definitely fullfil your expectations of a luxurious fine dining hotel. Loved their gesture of providing an amazing multi layer chocolate cake.

Went there last night for my husband's birthday, and I must say it was a royal celebration. Staff is most courteous with a vast array of delicious food. My personal favorite was the pomegranate chicken. Burj al Arab itself is so iconic but the staff made it a unique experience. Special mention to our server Sheela and welcome staff Bema and another lady whose name I've forgotten (she was wearing a head scarf). There's a good variety of dishes with lovely red-gold decor. We had a choice to sit with the ocean view but we had a 2 year old so preferred a bit more secluded area :) They also made complimentary food for my son which was very appreciated as he happily ate his fries along with his coloring package. Staff had also arranged cake for my husband's birthday with a rose for me :) Overall a dinner worth to splurge on!
Excellent Arabic food at the Burj Al Arab, the restaurant makes homemade tasty recipes that cannot be compared to any other. The staff certainly know how to make you feel special 👌

Went there for family dinner on our anniversary❤️ mannn!!! These people just make u feel like an empress. Every penny spent on the food, the ambience, the quality! Everything was just out of the world.. !! The experience is so royal that you wont regret walking out of there and would remember every moment spent there forever!!
P.S- special mention to the grilled salmon and falafel ( which were not on menu but were made on our request)

Being at Burj Al Arab is a luxerious experience all in all. However, the ambience and food variety is something that can't compete anymore with the new places that keep popping up in Dubai. Food taste is very good.

My husband took me here for surprise birthday dinner, I was so aww struck, when we were in front of Burj al Arab and was soo excited to go in and have dinner from here.
Interiors are too good. Table was set up so nice, the colors on the table, rose and the candles,perfect for a date.

Coming to the food part.. it was a wide spread arabic buffet.. Not that great, it was just okay for the price. They had all kinds of arabic sweets which was good.
Overall very good experience, would recommend everyone for the ambience and the experience.
The cost was reasonable as we used entertainer coupon 1+1 free, so we paid only for one person.

I celebrated my anniversary there . I wish I can give them 100 stars not only 5. Service is amazing. The chef walked around with me describing each dish and it's content because I have food allergy. Moreover, when I was whispering to my husband that "I wish they had steak and crème brûlée" , they surprised me by making one specially for me with out me asking and did not even bill me for it. I have seen people writing review saying the food spread was not that much, personally the food spread was good and I rather have quality food that tastes amazing rather than quantity and that is what I got there. Overall it's outstanding in everything and I would totally recommend it.
Al Iwan, the yummiest place on earth... they have a buffet, food is tempting, fresh, and tasteful. Ambience is just wow 😮. It’s a must must go to place. It’s a little pricey place but worth paying. I’m definitely going again. Cheers

My hus booked a table here for my bday lunch...the decoration of table was lovely as long as complimentary chocolate cake and roses on table.. the restaurant was almost empty ( i am clueless about the reason as it was friday lunch), but the foods were yummy and widespread..seafood was my fav as it was so fresh and tasty..salads were well flavored and desserts were delicious..its a luxurious spot so be ready to pay for the 5star service..

Great ambiance and service, the atmosphere within the Burj al Arab is amazing and cared for to the littlest detail.
Food:
The buffet spread is quite small, you would expect more.
Also the quality of the food is good, it is not any better than other Arabic restaurants around dubai. The shewarma was delicious but everything else was average.
I would recommend it for the ambiance and service, not really for the food.

i went there yesterday for a dinner with my fiance to celebrate her birthday .. i called and booked a table and i request for something spacial to celebrate, they said they can give a complementary cake but with out candle .. anyway when we went there the service was very nice and the stuff was very friendly .. the buffet was very testy also and at the end they serve us the bday cake and they put the candle + they came like 3 to 4 to sing for her happy bday AND They gave her a flower as a souvenir .

Having been to this restaurant last week, I was amazed by the beautiful surroundings and the amazing service. The food was flavoursome and mouthwatering, especially their range of mains and traditional desserts. The waiters were particularly accommodating and took extra care of our 4 year old who went with us, offering her child friendly options, which we truly appreciated.
Experience all this for:
Lunch - serving from 12.00 to 15.30- AED 375 per person
Dinner - serving from 18.00 to 00.00 - AED 395 per person
And I would definitely recommend the shisha at Scape Lounge after, especially now that the weather has really cooled down :)
Beautiful restaurant nicely designed and decorated. I loved the ambiance. It's warm and relaxing. Everything is perfectly set up. We felt welcomed all time. Food was great. Staff were professional. Service was excellent. A bit overpriced.

This is one of the best restaurant I've visit so far in terms of the place which is located at the iconic Burj Al Arab, I really loved the place, great ambience and very welcoming staff. Food is purely arabic. Many options to choose from main course to dessert in the buffet section. I had a great experience in this restaurant on which the staff will treat you like a VIP.

Burj Al Arab known for luxury and class being a 7 star hotel houses many restaurants out of which is this Arabic , Al Iwan .
Extremely luxurious interiors, comfortable seating which also has a view facing the sea. A very calm and tranquil place.
Hospitality went above my expectations. Each and every staff were polite , courteous , pleasant and had an eye to detail. We had small kids so their baby sear were laid down very beautifully with the table preset for them. This was very impressive. Also, services like one being approached to hang their handbags on the edge of the tables were little element of surprise. They went extra mile to arrange snacks for the kids as per their choice. The food was explained to us (depicts their product knowledge). Basically I found not a monotonous service but humans offering hospitality humbly .
The buffet was very presentable , clean and hygienic. 1 chef was constantly near the buffet to help us with the dishes and recommendations.
The food I found wasn't any extra ordinary . Have tasted the same at many places. Less options for vegetarians , especially main course.
If you choose to visit this place , surely come for the service where they will make you feel like a king and of course the ambience and venue.
A very well done job to this team. Certainly under pressure being located inside Burj Al Arab to keep the fame, but still won my heart. Hope the food which we pay so much for improves.

Nice and cosy ambience thats a stark contrast to the granduer of the lobby and atrium of this iconic hotel.
Loved the one to one service. The staff and their service is really worth mentioning. The buffet is also just right, not too over the top interms of the number of dishes, but just right. I expected a bit more varieties at the dessert corner but thats just me.
You habe got to try their Harees and veil curry.

Visited this place for their evening buffet. Less options for the vegetarians. Service is great however the food options are okay. The staff realized that and served us a platter of chicken kebabs. Tried the 24K gold drink non alcoholic. Basically apple juice. The drink was super good!

Last Friday we all went to Al Iwan, actually it was mind blowing experience to be in Burj Al Arab. And honestly the Food was so tasty and we drank lots of fresh juices...great to be there we enjoyed every bit of our time...

We went there for lunch on a weekday and honestly I did not find the buffet too impressive, but not bad either. Had better Indian options than the Arabic ones 😜.
For the price you pay, the service and ambience is not that good. It's in the main lobby area of the property and hence very crowded and noisy. Certainly found the Bab Al Yam restaurant within the same property much better.

Firstly the hotel is 7 star and its most expensive.
the architect of this hotel is awesome specially the lobby.
Coming to this restaurant its arabic restaraunt with palace ambience.
I had chosed dinner buffet Which comes around rupees15000/ per person.
the arabic food was tasty but buffet items where less compared to the price we pay..
Service is excellent no question about it.

I didn't have big hopes for this Buffet after reading some of the reviews, and after dining at another buffet in Burj A Arab. But l was pleasantly surprised and absolutely loved it! The service was amazing, the best ever I must say, our waiter was so attentive and friendly. Loved the red and gold decor of the restaurant, very nice relaxing chill out music! If you come early , you get to see beautiful sea view. I absolutely loved the place and its ambiance!!! The food was also really good. My favorite things were paneer masala, shrimp curry , lentil soup and lamb rice. The desserts were even better than the food! They have the best Umm Ali I've ever had in my life! Lovely Kunafa too(not the best one), yummy baklava and other Arabic /Lebanese sweets. The price per person is 550AED, not including soft or alcoholic drinks. But if you use entertainer vouchers, it's a good value. Overall loved it, one of the best buffets I've tried. We had a great time there.
Whilst I'm not normally a fan of Arabic food (wife is) this buffet is exceptional. The service is excellent, very attentive, friendly but not stuffy or over bearing. Being able to use an Entertainer voucher made it very good value. Would highly recommend.

Located in Burj Al Arab, serving Arabic / Lebanese food. The best thing about this restaurant is the plush interiors. the view from the restaurant of the sea is beautiful. Off course being in a 7 star hotel, the staff is very professional, friendly and courteous. The food was very good. There was a mix of kebab grill, juicy and fresh. I also liked the Shrimp Majboos and Fish Sharmola. Ended with a few good Lebanese deserts..
Now let's be real , it's all about the location so if you are planning to impress someone and get a good portion of food as oppose to tiny plates . This is the place to be, as it's a buffet with a mainly Arabic selection . Some items could have been cooked better but the freshness across the board is undeniable . Enjoyed the complimentary cake and rose for my husband since it was his birthday.!

I have always been regular to Burj Al Arab , they have always made sure that they provide elite service and the whole ambience thing is simple outstanding , previously I have visited few of their places the food was good but this time I have to admit it this is truly the best restaurant in Burj . Whether it's the seafood , Lebanese or Italian it ensures that we have great quality of food . Not to forget the desserts of this place is just Heaven . I strongly recommend you this place

Great restaurant great buffet and an awesome service. The ouzi with baby lamb was definitely the highlight. Great variety of food and appetizers and lets not forget the great desserts and fruits to end it all. Pricey but I guess that's what u get when u wanna dine in Burj Al Arab
I had visited Al Iwan in 2006 for a lunch with family and found the place very good! We had opted for the buffet and it was very good - you get an amazing view of the upper floors of the hotel from the dining area........worth visiting again !
Had been here to celebrate an anniversary, excellent ambiance and food. The service is very smooth and they have got an extremely friendly staff whose always eager to help. Reservation process is easy to do as well. A must try for whose who are hesitant to spend it's a worth every dirham.
The service simply TOP NOTCH. Being vegetarians the options are limited but that did not stop us from enjoying ourselves.
The staff made us feel very comfortable and went all out. The food was equally good if maybe the pasta could have had more red sauce.

Sometimes you just enjoy the place, the company and the atmosphere rather than the food itself; this was the case in Al Iwan restaurant yesterday. Some friends were visiting UAE and they were guests in Burj Al Arab and they invited us for dinner.
The hospitality of the staff is remarkably extraordinary, they were treating everyone as if there were no other guests in the place.
I liked the food, yes, but I would've expected more varieties in such a place. I had seafood, shells, and salad.
The atmosphere was cosy and quiet, new experience in Dubai for me.
I enjoyed my time with friends and enjoyed the food as well as the service.

Al Iwan, the lavishly decorated Arabic restaurant of the hotel, provided the ideal setting for Iftar with beautiful red and gold drapes, and a tiered tray with a selection of Arabic desserts at the entrance. When we walked in, we instantly knew this would be one extravagant meal! A refreshing change from the buffet-style offerings of most restaurants, the meal here is served at the table.
On being seated, we were treated to fresh apricot, rose syrup and tamarind juice. A range of pickles and dips such as hummous, yoghurt with pine nuts (which was mouthwatering), moutabel and bulgur salad, were then laid out on the table - and this was before the appetisers even arrived. The hot appetisers which followed included the usual suspects of fattoush, tabbouleh and harari - a warm potato and meat soup with a hint of spice - which were all delicious. The meals were paced well, as the food came out every ten minutes, giving us enough time to enjoy each course. For mains, we tucked into seabass with salsa, kibbeh, moussakeh, Arabic rice with vermicelli and our favourite, lobster tail, which was served in the shell. Juicy and succulent, it was a highlight of the meal. As was the lamb quzi, a popular Arabic dish, which was served towards the end of the main course.
Tempting as it was to stuff ourselves, we saved some space for dessert, my favourite part of any meal. A tray of assorted desserts were served, which included knaffeh, baklava, warm and hearty umm ali, pistachio knaffeh and one dish that I still can't stop thinking about - hababm jabneh, a white stuffed sweet cheese roll with syrup on top.
