One of the 1st buffet I tried in Dubai and still an all time favourite! Not all 5stars hotels master the art of french pastries like they do! Their seafood night is a must try. The choice is always very large and of the best quality.
Stayed in hotel, went for breakfast with the family, nice set up, excellent service, food outstanding taste and presentation.
Highly recommended
@Arboretum restaurant serves one of the best international cuisines that you could ever tast and is located Jumeirah Al Qasr Hotel

friendly staff, lots of food choices (international), fresh juices, live music, great ambience, grilled seafood are yum yum, perfect for intimate dates
It's our second visit to arboretum. Excellent range of options. Thanks to CHEF VIPIN for giving that extra effort always to meet my son's pasta wish. Food quality àlso very good
On weekends, Arboretum hosts a great champagne brunch that gives you access to a generous buffet across three of the restaurants. A live band, a great view of Madinat, cocktail stations and well dressed guests make this one of the top 10 brunches for me in Dubai.
Alas, in recent years, the food has gotten decidedly mediocre. In the past, they featured Wagyu cuts, lobsters, foie gras, and other treats. But these days, the quality and quantity of the selection has become quite weak. Price is also hefty at above AED 500 with alcohol, so it's not exactly the best value for money give the declining food quality. Nonetheless, it's a must visit for me every quarter. So there...
Great service and ambience. Buffet spread is a perfect mix of international cusines and dishes .Slightly pricey but good for special occasions.
Went for dinner on Tuesday evening. Good dining options with decent variety of dishes on the buffet. Excellent service as one can expect with great ambience. Grilled seafood and sashimi were also served upon request. Special thanks to Mr. Khalid and Ryan for their great hospitality.
The buffet was one of the best I've had. The variety and the quality of the food was superb! The atmosphere of the restaurant really complements the whole experience. It seems to me that my friend's and I had an amazing night. The service was outstanding.
This place has a wonderful ambiance. Everything about the hotel is intimate and luxurious. The buffet spread was delicious, but some of the items (e.g. Saffron rice) weren’t as warm as we would have liked. We absolutely loved the Thai curry! It would also be nice to have soft drinks included in the buffet price. All in all, a great place to visit with family.
Very nice place with friendly stuff
I like the buffet as there was enough and various food with good quality and nice taste
It's a littel bit expensive but it's a good experience at all
Special occasions best celebrated only at arboretum with the sumptuously served brunch.. simply love this place.. good value for money , amazing food , fabulous ambience..
Don’t know why but this place it’s still one of my favorites!!! The food variety, the taste, freshness etc. We had a reservation on a busy thursday evening and somehow our table was not ready but the manager apologised and offered us free drinks to make up for the mistake. We still had a great dinner tough!!
I like al qasr restaurants alot all of great experience arboretum decoration was so lovely for Christmas the food was international but includes everything sushi- sashimi - duck - steak - indian - prawns all such a variety is amazing not to mention the desserts the staff are so helpful and friendly extremely acceptable price for the quality of food and ambiance
Best brunch selection, lot’s of live stations,
We had a family brunch here - we enjoyed first vast variety of seafood - different kinds of crabs, amazing oysters, all possible live stations - even german station with pork selection. Freshly opened coconuts.
It is almost impossible to try a third of it’s selection, it is real feast of highest standard with live music and fantastic oriental palace ambience.
Went to Arboretum for dinner on a Friday night, arrived as it opened around 7pm and the place was already busy, the food is international and the overall quality was good but I wouldn’t say fantastic. I would never pay full price to eat here, I used entertainer and based on the deficit I would say I had value for money. Good variety on meats, curries and desserts.
If your choosing between Arboretum or Haanaya, then I would go with Haanaya, Iv been to both recently and I found Haanaya more spacious as a setting and the food variety is very similar.
High quality lunch
Lunch is the weakness meal all over , and this has no place here, starting from the seating and the setup and the quality of the food down to the warm feelings to the varieties,
It’s recommended to visit
Such a breathtaking place
From the salads to the desserts all was perfect
Excellent choices and atmosphere
The hospitality at top level as well which is amazing
I was staying at Madinat Jumeirah Al Qasr and this restaurant was identified as the inter-continental breakfast buffet. Loved the place. It’s really big and good for large parties. They have a variety of options. The American breakfast to Indian to Arabic. They also have an egg live station and fresh fruit juice station. The service was good and it’s open from 6:30-11:30 am. Not sure of the cost as it was included in our stay. It over looks the lake side and the outdoor seating is much better than indoor on a good weather day.
Been there for the seafood night.
Couldn’t ask for more!
All kind of seafood that you could think of .
Cold and hot options too.
The sweets section wasn’t really as good as expected, but they were very helpful and welcoming even to cook for me any sweets I want.
What a pleasure paying for quality and outstanding food and service!
It was for our anniversary that we chose arboretum, the staffs did everything for the night to be memorable! Special thanks to Shiv for giving us a VIP treatment!
The food was beyond expectations , for an international buffet, the variety was huge!
Definitely coming back!

I consider it a sin being in Dubai and having to spend Fridays at home. There are so many Brunch options in the city and I certainly didn't want to miss the chance to try it at one of the most luxurious properties in Dubai.
Jumeirah Al Qasr boats of grandeur and from the gold horses in the driveway to massive lobbies, they set the mood for what they have to offer in terms of food and experiences.
GET SET GOBBLE
AMBIANCE | The brunch is spread lavishly across three restaurants, The Hide to the left as you enter, Arboretum in the centre and Al Hambra to the right. As you walk in you are going to spot the number of dishes laid out across the massive stretch of the dining floor downstairs.
CROWD | The crowd is smartly dressed but still comfortable. You can find couples, friends, people with babies and even large family gatherings dining here. There is ample amount of seating space spread across the three restaurants.
FOOD | Hide offers Continental dishes like cold cuts, innovative salads and meat with all the trimmings. The best part is that the buffet actually extends right back to the kitchen so make sure you walk in to check out the massive spread inside. It's an unexpected part of the brunch and you're surely in for a treat. Outside you have an Indian counter with biryani, dal and curry that I recommend you try. It had a wonderful balance of spices. They even have a quirky dessert stand with sweet offerings like an inverted ic cream cone, tub of popcorn and even a burger!
Arboretum offers a selection of salads, seafood and desserts. They even have huge cakes, ice cream corner and a chocolate fondue section for desserts. Al Hambra had Mexican selections like paella, cold cuts and a number of live cooking stations. You can pick noodles, dimsums, Laksa, Fish & Chips and more!
DRINKS | There is loads to drink if you're going for the alcoholic package. Starting with a bar setup in The hide serving Gin & Tonic and Whisky sour all the way to Al hambra serving Aperol Spritz and Sangria. There's also beer, prosecco, rum in fresh coconuts, mojitos and more. I recommend you leave the car at home for this one!
SERVICE | The service is pleasant. We wish it would be a little more personal so we'd feel well taken care of.
ENTERTAINMENT | There is a live band that will keep you swaying to catchy tunes, old and new. Towards the end of the brunch, people even got up to dance!
Great brunch experience yesterday and awesome music. It has to be some of the best food in Dubai all under one roof. Service was impeccable too (Thank you Joy). We will definitely be back!
We were celebrating our anniversary and they been very friendly and nice.
Very delicious food and they have the best Oreo cheesecake I've ever tasted 😋😋😋
Very recommended 😍😍😍
Great ambiance and decor. Visited on a Wednesday night with a group of colleagues. Variety is just vast with all cuisines that one can try, Indian, Arabic, Continental, Italian, Asian and a range of salads and healthy options. Finish it off with the desserts and the Ice cream. Oreo cake was quite tasty. But is it worth the price? Perhaps only for the location and the ambiance. As there are lot of other locations offering similar food options at a lesser price range.
Been there for Iftar buffet this Ramadan.
The decor indeed was warm and nice, the food were in good amount of variety. The staff were very helpful and lovely.
Overall, was a good experience 👍🏼
Thursday is seafood night at Arboretum. There is a selection of soups, sushi, salads and mains mostly containing one type of seafood or another. There is also a sufficient number of desserts including ice cream, apple crumble, pastries and a chocolate fountain to satisfy your sweet tooth. The restaurant has a spacious outdoor terrace overlooking the swimming pool and Burj al Arab. The indoor area was filled mostly with hotel guests. There was a mussels stand were dishes were made to order. Oysters, grilled lobster, giant prawns, paella and Galician octopus were some of the highlights. A handful of international dishes including curries and pizza, were also available. Service was efficient and waiters available as and when required.
A delightful restaurant based in Madinat Jumeirah, Arboretum is very pleasant with an impressive decor. Perfect place to dine and relax after a long week. Withdraw yourself to the beautiful outdoor ambiance. Bread and salads for a healthy start with a variety of main course dishes and to end with the star attraction – DESSERTS. Time well spent with my husband
This is one place I’ve spent so much time at. It’s perfect for anytime of the day for anything you feel like having. The place has indoor and outdoor seating. If you’re inside you’ll be treated to some amazing live piano and if you’re outdoor the view is magnificent. They also serve sheesha outside. If you’re not sure of one of the many specialty cuisines restaurant at the Medinat Jumeirah then I’d say you go here because it’s open at all times and serves a little bit of everything. Maximum relaxation, spacious and comfortable seating and surreal views. That’s what this place is.
Great Restaurant to Dine with no comparison with any other restaurant really amazing restaurant will recommend to every individual to Dine here can try great breakfast I miss all old staffs tale care guys ....
Great Friday brunch with absolutely everything the heart desires. Had the champagne brunch (Moet bubbles) with a free flow of cocktails, mixers, oysters, king crab, sushi, Italian, Mexican, French, British, healthy and savoury, there were performances and really kind waiters. The manager took great care of us and we enjoyed the terrace and the amazing weather while getting a bit drunk among the other people who seem to be enjoying as well.
A wonderful restaurant based in Madinat Jumeirah, Arboretum is very pleasant with an impressive decor. The vibe is chill with season decorations and is perfect to dine and relax after a long day. Be prepared to get lost in the beautiful ambiance outdoors.
The spread is average and was themed 'National' on a Friday night. The live counters and the desert section is probably the best thing to expect. Bread and salad selection for a healthy start. Arabic rolls, sushi and seafood are rather appealing and delicious. Daily dishes and live counters include a lot of meat. Desserts are the star attraction and leaves you on a sweeter note with full satisfaction. Time spent with family or colleagues makes it a memorable experience and value for money.
"An unforgettable dining experience"
The best Friday Brunch in Dubai❣
Incredible selection! Great ambience! Good service!
Pricey, but worth it at least once!
Totally recommended!
Jumeirah Restaurants are the best when it comes to breathtaking views, luxury, food, customer service and ambiance. Yesterday night, we tried #Arboretum. From phone reservation to dining, im 100% satisfied with customer service. the buffet offers a wide selection of main courses, pasta, pizza, cheese, salad, desserts, soft serve ice cream with variety of toppings and more. The most surprising part is, we've won a #dinneronus which means we haven't pay even as single penny!!!! Thank you Arboretum, its truly an amazing experience we will never forget!
Grand place! I've been here for boxing day brunch, dinner date and company Christmas party. Great experience every time. Offering different cuisine from around the world especially on brunch. It is quite pricey but worth it! :)
Celebrated 1st wedding anniversary here and simply loved the experience. Smitten with overwhelming love for the sushi ❤️ and my hubby loved the desert area much 💕
Very beautiful view and ambiance was very chic, friendly staff ,although food was very average(for this type of place) but still a very nice place to have dinner.
The location is stunning, especially because I reached the hotel using a private little boat from Madinat Jumeirah. The restaurant feels very luxurious with white table cloths and beautiful ceiling decorations. Shame the food was extremely average/almost too plain. Friday night buffet is medium size with some low quality sushi, tasteless cold mini portions and some average Arabic dishes. Desserts are probably the best thing. Please do something with the manu because the restaurant has a massive potential and feels very wasted at the moment!
Being a fan of breakfast I keep on trying breakfast places and if its a buffet it just adds an icing to tge cake and I must say Arboretum has the Best Breakfast buffets that I have tried its a place where I hace started going often for breakfast due to tge vast variety of the breakfast items and the amazing ambience the only tiny prob is the serving staff is not either enough or is not there difficult to catch attn otw i just love the place.
Lovely setting and food! We went for their international - english brunch during the weekend and simply loved it. They have sushi, fish and chips live station, lamb and bird meat and a lot more to dig into.
Iftar per person AED 195! I'm not a fan of these lavish iftars (because of the waste) but this was spectacular.
We booked a table in advance, which was an easy task.
The atmosphere was buzzing and they were playing the prayer on the loudspeaker which was a lovely touch.
The service was good, the servers and chefs were knowledgeable and helpful.
The food was amazing. There were salad, dessert, meat, rice/starches, cheese stations.
The food was plentiful and everything that i had tasted was great. (Cant remember what i ate)
Definitely recommend Arboretum, for any occasion.
Awesome ambience!
Good view, nice place to go with friends & family!
Food is good, with the ambience & the whole set up, you tend to raise the bar of expectation to a whole different level, food is above average & is really good, but will bring you one level down from the expectation!😊
A must visit place for many reasons!!!
We woke up to the realization that a Friday Brunch was in order and so, we sauntered off to "Al Qasr" (means "The Fort/Castle/Palace" in Arabic) which is one of the three boutique hotels i.e. Al Qasr, Mina A'Salam, and Al Naseem, that comprise of Madinat Jumeirah which is one of the largest and most luxurious of resorts in the Emirate spread across 40 hectares with a 2 kilometer long private beach) featuring architecture evocative of Arab royalty and oozing opulence and luxury from every nook and cranny conceivable; while being resplendently aggrandized with the most exquisite of chandeliers complemented by plush/vibrant carpeting, the ambiance and locus of this property is simply enticingly "spot on", if you are looking at spending some time away from home, that is.
To me a Friday-Brunch would be kind of pointless without dispatching some quality fodder down your esophagus. So we elected for Sushi and incidentally "Arboretum" was our restaurant of choice at the "Al Qasr".
So as we were tucking into the culinary creations on offer; the patissier waltzed in with a cache of starch/gluten free desserts, since I had indicated my preferences/allergies when I made my reservations, which needless to state was awfully kind of them and I was indeed deeply touched.
After overwhelming our gustatory antennas with sensory bombardments lasting an hour, we headed home with the glow of atonement on our faces suggestive of a day well spent.
Endearingly chronicled below are the dramatis personæ in our culinary peregrination;

Fantastic restaurant in terms of interiors and arrangement. Food selection is limited. Its a bit expensive when you consider no beverages, even water is included. Food was nice and the staff is attentive.
First time to try the breakfast over here.. yes at a second i thought am at a dinner buffet... its a huge variety of food.. not forgetting the best service they have as well. Highly recommended
Fantastic experience from start to finish.
Great location first and foremost. Probably one of my favorite hotels. Just gorgeous. The buffet selection wasn't huge - but since when does size matter. They focused on a fair balance in diversity and overall quality - and they succeeded. Fantastic food. There was not a single item that I tried that wasn't 5 star quality. And to top it all off - service was hands down the best service I have had in Dubai.
We will be repeat patrons here.
I went there on a Thursday night which is seafood night and I was really impressed food was great really amazing stuff I loved it a lot . Quality quantity variety
We tried their breakfast buffet and it was great!
The place was simply mesmerizing we couldn't even take proper pictures of the whole buffet.
It deserves a rating 5, for the quality of food, amazing buffet setup and variety, live stations of different kinds and it all tasted great.
If you are looking for an affordable place to have a wonderful service experience, this is definitely a place to try in Al Qasr, Dubai.
Their outdoor seating is just perfect with the view and soft ambience.
Went there for the seafood buffet - quite a vast spread and most of items tasted delicious . We were quite impressed 👌
Sushi was fresh and delectable .
Best part was the seafood BBQ .
The restaurant has amazing views of burj al Arab - hence makes a perfect spot for a celebration !
Review is based on regular visits to this restaurant.
Service is very good. Ambience is nice, special outside. There are few cooking live stations.
Choice of food is good. Buffet usually contains more than 10 main dishes and slides as well.
Food quality is excellent. Baked potato and sword fish file are the most tasty which I found in area, without any additional (not necessary) spices which changing the real taste of food.
Sea food buffet is recommended. Even when is theme night you can always find few international meals to satisfy your appetite.
The weakest link according me is dessert plate. Usually I can find one course done on excellent way and average variety of fruit.
Staff is kind and helpful, atmosphere is good, no background noise and sides disturbances.
Entertaining vouchers are acceptable, price is average and worth.
Recommended restaurant.
Nice Buffet with a lot options . I went there for sea food . A lot off sea food option with a great price . .
Wow! This restaurant is mesmerizing located in al qasr madinat Jumeirah a beautiful setup views of the sea and excellent ambience.
We walked in for the buffet and it's not a massive buffet but to the point that it's got all types of meats and flavors from around the world. We enjoyed the sushi Shashimi which was very nice the spicy tuna roll was a instant hit.
Beef medallions and the lambchops were good slightly over cooked.
Desserts and cheese spread excellent.
Cooked Fish I was not so happy I felt they were too dry.
This place took me on a total other level went it come to the Friday brunch...it teams up with the restaurants next to it and this is a big brunch full of different type of cusines and the flavours...huummm just yummy! It must be awesome in Dec when the weather is better to sit outside
I visited this restaurant for dinner with some of my colleagues. We ordered a hummus and pita bread and a combination of shawarmas and biryanis. The hummus was absolutely superb and the mains were decent. What stood out was the promptness in service and courtesy of the staff. It's pretty reasonable on the pocket considering it's Dubai!
I am not big on buffet dinners since the food I is sometimes cold and tasteless but went to Arboretum for Suhoor and my opinion has changed. Such a huge spread of dishes and each and every dish was well presented and the right temperature that it should be and delicious at the same time.
Talk about variety and choices! I was so full just by starters, never got to the main course, my 5 course meal turned into 2 course: starters and dessert. Of course dessert! ambience was pretty elegant. They have indoor and outdoor seating arrangements which can accommodate over 200 people. Since they offere buffet, the cost is Dhs260 per person exclusive of beverages. The waiters and waiteresses are formal yet friendly.
They have a fabulous spread for Iftar! This place is of course famous for their buffet and their brunch so shouldn't expect any less from them. The live cooking station was fantastic and of course their baked delicacies were brilliant as usual.
A fabulous venue. Do go there!
Best brunch I have been too! The food options are just amazing and just wish I had a few more hours and more room to try more.
Everything I tried was cooked to perfection and was really impressed with how you can try a bit of everything from most of the top restaurants in the hotel.
Probably the first brunch where I wasnt really bothered about having a drink and just wanted to concentrate more on the food. Already thinking about our next visit... 😉
Had dinners and lunches a couple of times. All official. I love their sea food menu, especially the Salmon. Today they had Masala Dosa for lunch. Delicious
Located in Madinath Jumameirah . I tried Al Arboretum for lunch, that was a lunch party . First thing we will notice the Decor , Persian Arabic mixed decor is really pleasant. But seating feel bit congested inside , may be open air area will be bit better.
food and service was allover good , as usual we can feel few exiting dishes and few disasters , But most of them up to the mark.
BBQ section was really exited especially fish tikka , same time steaks are not up to the mark .
dessert and salads will be worth full and we found Sushi's are remarkable.
I feel they must add some rice item along the spread like Biriyani or fried rice etc. at this moment will get only steamed rice .
service is good but not exited .
Arboretum is expansive in its layout and has a great view if you choose to dine outdoors. The layout of the buffet is decent with some great seafood and sushi to try. The quality of service is also as expected. Their selection of deserts is expansive as well with a huge chocolate fountain that had me going back repeatedly for more. Definitely recommended.
Located in Al Qasr, Madinat Jumeirah. Influenced by old Arabic architecture, beautiful ambiance. We had the dinner buffet, very good spread of varieties of dishes. Few live cooking stations. The outdoor seating has a beautiful view of the Burj Al Arab. If you are planing for a romantic dinner.. I would suggest this place..
Had an opportunity to enjoy one of their brunch buffets on Easter. They do have a wide spread of cuisines from Lebanese, Asian to continental and much more. Excellent service and hospitality.I was looking forward to finishing my lunch with some exceptional sweets but to my dissapointmnet I didn't enjoy the desserts so much. But overall must visit if your in Dubai.
Had the buffet breakfast - absolutely amazing. Good choice of juices, fruits, cereals. The pancake station was amazing, great toppings to add (many types of honey, Nutella). The egg station was great too, the chef at this station is a great character.
You know the expression, Thank God It’s Friday?
Well, it’s quite a literal one in Dubai where work weeks start on a Sunday and Fridays spell the start of the weekend, kicking off with a Friday Brunch extravaganza. Stretching out over long and heady hours, these elaborate spreads take the sacred institution of brunch to a WHOLE new level, as I had the recent pleasure of experiencing at Al Qasr’s famous Friday offering!
Al Qasr is one of the three hotels that make up the luxurious Madinat Jumeirah resort complex (a fourth is on it’s way), connected by a sparkling blue lagoon that you can cruise along in, in small ‘abra’ boats.
Each hotel has its own identity. Arabic for “the palace”, Al Qasr’s distinctly regal character greets you from the moment you head up the driveway, winding around manicured lawns flanked by gold stallions…
Beautiful Restaurant, Buffet Diner it was Great Experience, & Fresh Tasty Food!!!!
The food is well cooked, well presented and the staff are very good!!!
The Friday brunch at Al Qasr is quite rightly the stuff of legend. It is rumoured to be the first Friday brunch to exist in the UAE and remains hugely popular attracting hundreds of hungry guests each and every Friday without fail. It is also arguably the biggest brunch on the Dubai dining scene with an overwhelming selection of food available, that will quite possibly cause your brain to go into sensory overload. This brunch is so large that at one point you were given a map to help you navigate your way through the various bars and food options on offer. Things have changed slightly now but it is still an extravagant affair.
One of the best brunch in Dubai. A wide range of choices with fresh seafood. Staff are friendly and dish are collected in a regular basis. Highly recommend for a layback Friday afternoon

Excellent buffet restaurant. The food quality is great. Lots of food selection available such as sushi, seafood, beef, chicken, lamb, salads, hummus and more. Service is good as well. One downside, the water is overpriced. Views are stunning. And you can park at the valet, and they will stamp the ticket.
