3fils is a great place to go, for breakfast or dinner, it's fusion cuisine with a lot of asian influences and some european hints here and there. Food is very good, ambience is great and if weather allows, outdoors seating has a very pleasant setting with the view of the fishing harbor marina.
If you want a more comprehensive review, please visit our blog, but we are sure you'll love the place :D.

The perfect date night spot!! @3.fils
This place is truly a hidden gem. I got the best seat in the house - an outdoor picnic bench overlooking the boats in the harbour by candlelight 😍
Boasting contemporary Asian cuisine, all the dishes certainly had an interesting twist. The scallops with mandarin oranges and sumao was so delicious, it just melted in your mouth. Dessert was a Ghana dark chocolate cake with Madagascar vanilla ice cream. Just the right decadence to finish the meal
Went there twice in 10 days and loved everything I ate. Do try the seaweed salad, shrimp tempura rolls, potatoes and the mango dessert. Well priced, great service and absolutely worthy every penny!

Excellent restaurant, everything was wonderful from the moment we first reached the restaurant, to the end of our meal. Lovely experience i would love to dine it again.
Everything on the menu is great. Highly recommend
This is one of the best restaurant in Dubai. It is indeed a hidden gem! Worth every single money I've spent. All our order are perfectly done! I love this place! I love the food! Will keep on coming back for sure!
Delicious food.
INDOMIE, YES INDOMIE delicious like original.. Topped with spring onion.
TRIPLE COOKED CHIPS
Potato wedges with house Garlic Mayo, barbecue ketchup
They have the best beef burger the meat was so soft and tender
Orders house maxican Drink it tasted like cold Chai
But the Japanese juices are mouth watering.
The place has a friendly staff. Mr. Garni was very helpful for our choices
We went to brix for desert it's adjacent to the place under the same umbrella.
That to was brilliant.
Loved everything about this place! Right from the location, ambience to the service and most importantly the food! We ordered the spicy tuna roll, wagyu beef burger, indomie noodles, wings and the African powerhouse dessert.
The food is delectable I honestly cannot say a single bad thing about it.
The dessert was simply amazing one of the best I've eaten.
Very friendly service, good portion size, not too much so it was easy to finish everything we ordered.
It was priced quite well for the quality of the food so no complaints there either.
Would definitely recommend this and totally go back there again and again.
3fils is a cute little restaurant tucked away in Jumeirah fishing harbour away from hustle bustle of the city.We went there on Sunday evening to our surprise there was waiting for half an hr even on weekday. To start with we had ordered Scallops with mandarin orange and sumac which was absolutely delicious and flavourful. Then we turned to sushi and ordered Dragon which had amazing flavour and different textures to it.Undoubtedly star of the show was Grilled Octopus with potato and leeks puree. It had beautiful charred flavour, octopus was cooked perfectly. To finish it off we had ordered African powerhouse which was silky smooth dark chocolate mousse served with Sea salt and Vanilla ice cream.
Overall very happy with food and service of this restaurant.
The food was Amazing. WINGS were sooo good & prawn sushi was really good. BURGER tasted soo good & great desserts.
So Delicious food ,, it worth the waiting time highly recommended
We had wonderful friends dinner here, food was outstanding, portions was small, but it was soooo delicious, definitely will be back here. Highly recommended
A great hidden gem in JUMEIRAH. Good value for money and top quality!!! Every dish tasted amazing, excellent service! Thank you team.
Every once in a while you come across a phenomenal culinary experience that leaves you with an incredible feeling (although you do need to love food for that to happen). @3fils did exactly that for me. The food blew my mind, the ambience (outdoor seating) was amazing and the service was great
.
.
Scallops with Mandarin Orange and Sumao - just melt in your mouth goodness that blows your tastebuds away
Wagyu burger with provolone and chipotle - beautifully cooked Wagyu paired with delicious provolone. One of the best burgers I've had in Dubai...hands down
Shrimp tempura with gochujang and pickled onions - bursting with complimenting flavours that leave you wanting more
Salmon teriyaki with flying fish roe and gochujang - really great tasting sushi that was my least fav dish, just because the others were so good
African Powerhouse with Ghana dark chocolate and Madagascar vanilla ice cream - you have to try this if you're a chocolate and vanilla lover. It is extreamly fresh and chock full of 'real' flavours
.
.
I cannot recommend this gem of a place enough. I am definitely going back there many many times
we ordered almost everything on the menu. The sushi was amazing. The lamb ribs absolutely delicious. The wagyu burger was spot on. The beef tartare was really good.
triple fried chips were a disappointment.
Other than that everything was a treat even the indomie!!
Nice place, nice atmosphere y the water. But the food is really something. Nice small portions that make u order something to satisfy your curiosity of the next dish. 5 star
Clap clap to the chef
3 fils was recommended to me by my sister. It was a cute location by the port. The sushi was really good and i looved the octopus. Not a big fan of the wings though.
Fantastic food. This place is a hidden gem. The interior is cozy has outside sitting area aswell. For the food. Specially the ribs soo tender . African powerhorse Most recommended for desserts! It's a melt in the mouth chocolate dessert. Highly recommended.
Best Japanese food I've had! I absolutely love the Seaweed Salad. The sushi 🍣 rolls are great as well. For desserts, Thai Mango 🥭 is really good :)
If you are looking for quality food and the best otoro in town this is the place to go. Friendly staff and good service.
One of my favorite restaurants in dubai. The ambience is great & casual which is refreshing. The food especially the ottoro and the wagyu with bone marrow are delicious.
excellent service , friendly staff, lovely atmosphere and the food was delicious, definitely will visit again 😍
It was a hidden gem in Dubai! A great food and service! Definitely we will come back!
Friendly staff , exquisite food and a must try for anyone visiting Dubai
Food and staff was amazing, totally recommend.
Always amazing. Great fun. And a lovely atmosphere when sitting outside . Have been there several times and it’s never failed us. Every restaurant ought to take note of the non pretentious food, with outstanding freshness and flavour at perfectly reasonable prices. Gives Dubai a great rep when you have such restaurants
Simple menu, with a lot of off menu specials. We got a lot of the off menu specials, and would definitely recommend.
1. Uni
2. Bluefin tuna sashimi
3. Emofries - really liked the truffle on the tuna, but the potato did overpower the rest for me
4. Otoro nigiri - this was my winner. Slightly seared tataki style
Octopus and the zaatar w shay drink were also very good. Will come back.
FYI they don’t take reservations. Be prepared for 30-45 min wait.
Decent prices, great food. Great to sit at the bar and watch all the sushi rolling. Lovely little place
Always loved this place, event though the location is a bit off but the views are great and the food never disappoints. The staff too are very hospitable.
The menu is very small and the portions aren't the biggest for the price but nevertheless the quality makes it all worth it. The salmon carpaccio, wagyu overload, all the sushi and the yellowtail are amazing. Would love to come back and try more of the menu but I pretty much tried all since its a small menu. the dessert was decent too.
This place is excellent! Really great food!!!!!!! The salmon carpaccio and dragon role are excellent! The charcoal was average. A hidden gem!
This place is located near a secluded harbour, it feels really peaceful and because its hidden it feels exclusive.
The staff is really friendly and they have a variety of unique options! The chef is a pro for sure .
Even though the quantity is not as much the quality of the food and the taste is one of a kind. It's like a 5 star restaurant.
We ordered the Charcoal, which is not explained on the menu but it's a must try dish. The Octopus dish looks like an island and tastes delish! The salmon is fresh that itself adds to the flavours.the karak chai ice cream is an experience of it's own they literally prepare the dish in front of you!
They also keep coming up with new dishes, super innovative.
Brace yourselves, this is a long one #regulars. 3 Fils has been a favourite for a while. Don’t be mislead by the name, the meal will cost you way more than a few fils. Their maki rolls are satisfying but quite heavy on the mayo. Wouldn’t necessarily go there for the ceviches and tartare as we’ve had better elsewhere. However, their wagyu burger is the best in town, finger-licking delicious. Simple smash patty, potato bun, provolone and creamy chipotle mayo. Another favourite of ours is luckily the cheapest item on the menu: Indomie noodles. Sounds basic but trust us, it’s worth it! The biggest let down are the tuna nigiris, especially at a Zuma price point. Don’t leave without ending your meal with the African powerhouse.
Been here to try the very famous karak Icecream . Being a weekend , though pretty late evening , the place was extremely crowded and we were told waiting time would be atleast an hour . However we didn’t want to leave without having the karak Icecream, so though the humidity was quite high , we opted for outdoor seating . This was made right at our table and loved the way it was done . The karak Icecream was Home made. The flavor of black tea, butterscotch sauce , cardamom made this dessert really desirable. Priced at Aed 59, slightly overpriced though, but a must have .
Super Delicious, Cozy and great location and excellent service, you will eat at 3 Fils the best by far seaweed salad you can ever taste. The Maki rolls were great but I guess they still can do better, Waguy can be better.
I love Chef owned concepts and this is one of the very few in Dubai. I had the opportunity to eat Chefs Table and ate some of the Chef’s favorite dishes. Using aged Wagyu, Otoro, Uni, Foiegras, Caviar, and some of the best produce you can source in the country, I went on a culinary adventure that I dream of constantly. The food was full of flavor, and made with love, and it was evident with the output and quality of the food.
Although I was not overly impressed by the Wagyu Burger (I always want to try a burger in any place I dine) it was still delicious.
I would come back everyday if I could afford it! I guess if you want the best, you need to pay for it.
Perfect food
I don't know where to start from all the food we ordered was delicious, staff were very polite, service was fast, space is quite small. I would give 100 over 100
Interesting, vibrant and fun. The menu is made up of fusion dishes, inspired by the far East and it all pretty much works. Staff are attentive and friendly
Dined here for lunch with a friend. The food is definitely tasty, price is average but the serving is limited compared to other restaurants, basically serving is not meant for sharing. We had a volcano sushi which was amazing. They do not serve wasabi and soy sauce for their sushi so you'll taste the real flavors.. volcano is amazingly good! We also had lamb ribs which has the meat falling off the bones as it's so tender and surprisingly so so good. Last, we tried the SANDO (sandwich). It is a plain wagyu sandwich and it costs AED 250 for 2 piece and it tasted good, the meat is soft a bit too salty for my taste but the ultimate star in this expensive sandwich is the wagyu itself. Tender, well seasoned, cooked just right but I think it's too much for the price. I know wagyu is expensive but then again, not worth spending 250 for 2 piece of sandwich. It's a great experience though but will never order SANDO again.
Lastly we had karaoke ice cream served in a theatrical manner, however the taste is average.
Overall, it's a place for great, fresh, well seasoned, well cooked Japanese dishes.
Beautiful place with a awesome waterfront view.
Excellent food, each dish is very well balanced in flavors and so delicious. Yet portions could be bigger for the price.
Desserts are weak point, nothing match to choose and not superb.
Service could me more focused also. Sometimes it is really difficult to grab an attention.
Overall is nice place, highly recommended to visit.
The food here was exceptionally delicious! Had The dragon sushi, Turbot fish with mash potato and citrus oil, the lamb ribs and the karak chai ice cream with all its theatrics. Each and every dish was mouth watering but what made me fall absolutely love with this place was that karak chai Ice cream!!!.
Everything is good here. The vibe, the staff and especially the food! We must have tried almost everything on the menu and each dish was better than the last. My favorite was the dragon roll and spicy tuna. I will definitely be visiting this restaurant again. Hats off to the Chef!
Honestly, 3 fils should be the fully rated with more than 5 stars. The most delicious food I ever eat
The yokozuna is the target in the menu and it was the most delicious meal I had in my life ever. The quality deserve the price in 3 fils and its my best Japanese cuisine restaurant 😍 and I dnt forget the delicious saucy beef ribs.
No fuss food and no fuss staff!! Have an entire menu and I promise there would be nothing you could dislike!! Every thing is self crafted..Worth the money..the quality of food is more than you expect and pay! We went on a weekday and still had to wait to have their delicious hearty food...its truly a hidden gem!! Their servers are really warm and friendly!
Must try is their karak 🍦
Love this place! Never had a bad plate. Staff are very nice and friendly and the chief is polite and down to earth 😌. Food tastes how it should fresh and well balanced. Lastly the atmosphere is cosy welcoming.

What can I say? 3 fils blew our minds YET AGAIN but on a WHOLE NEW LEVEL.
Last year we ordered the chicken wings, beef tartare, volcano and dragon rolls, Indomie, and a salad, plus the chocolate tart (African powerhouse).
We loved almost everything, the quality/creative take of the dishes impressed us. Still, it didn’t blow us away (except for the beef tartare which was quite memorable🙈).
All I have to say is every dish we ordered (except the salmon nigiri and the yellowtail) was absolutely mind-blowing!!!
We requested our SALMON NIGIRI to be torched, though they told us they don’t normally do it. I guess the chef was a bit hesitant and only very lightly torched the salmon. Origami and Katana have better quality and portion of salmon nigiri.
The OTORO NIGIRI WITH FOIE GRAS (also torched) was magnificent. It melted in our mouths. The combination was (as usual) harmonic. Get this!
The FREMANTLE OCTOPUS was grilled to perfection, not chewy but very meaty in the middle. Crispy edges. The potato puree and herb oil really elevated the octopus. WOW!!!
The SPICY BEEF TARTARE was the second time we ordered it. As amazing as the first time. So fresh and well spiced! My favourite.
CRISPY EEL SUSHI ROLL IS EPICCCCC!
CHORIZO INDOMIE IS NOT TO BE MISSED.
The A9 MAYURA WAGYU STEAK WITH BONE MARROW SAUCE was probably the highlight of our meal. The rib eye meat was so tender, so melt in your mouth. The sauce and fatty pieces of bone marrow nailed it. We’re big fans and hope they never remove this from the menu!! 3 fils, please keep it forever!!! I’ve ordered it 4 times now hehe.
I’ll be back very, VERY soon. Well done 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼
Happy eating 🌷

now here is an absolute hidden gem!
Chef Akmal Anuar has come up with a menu guaranteed to deliver perfect bites. Walking in you would not imagine that this would be one of the best culinary experiences in Dubai. The place is simple and cosy. The presentation of the food is beautiful and appealing. You could tell that the ingredients were fresh and perfectly matched.
this is a MUST visit if you love good food.
don't forget to leave space for the Karak Tea Ice Cream! completely unexpected deliciousness!!
Excellent service from this little hidden gem.
The food was delicious hot and on time.
A range of food than cones in small plates perfect for sharing, great dinning experience.
hands down favorite casual restaurant in jumeirah.
usual order:
salmon carpaccio (beef is good too)
wagyu burger
sushi: spicy tuna and dragon roll
One of favorite places. Small, cozy, very nice interior. Food is great, portions are small, but it is such a gastronomic experience. Big bravo to all team, great job.
My favourite seafood food restaurant in Dubai. This place is great! Located on the fishing harbour this hidden gem has amazing food. Been a few times now and always satisfied. Service is great and food amazing. I’ve tried nearly everything on the menu and have no complaints on anything! The desserts are great too!
Amazing gem tucked away in Jumeriah , amazing vibes, gourmet food and personal service , tried their sea weed salad , dragon roll , black cod and lamb , everything was great except black cod ( dont compare it to Zuma ) but overall experience well worth it !
It was my first time at 3 Fils but I had heard many good reviews from others.
Located along side a small harbour, the venue had a cosy interior as well as outdoor seating.
We ordered several starters; Salmon Carpaccio, Shrimp Tempura, Spicy Tuna and a few mains which included items from the specials board; Wagyu Burger and triple cooked chips, Lobster Linguine and Lamb Ribs.
The portions were full of flavour and did not require any extra condiments, they were also good enough to feed four of us sufficiently and left no room for dessert.
Prices were pretty reasonable, wait staff were pleasant and I would definitely recommend to any lover of Japanese cuisine.
We went to 3 fils last Thursday. It serves excellent food with a lovely ambience outdoors at Jumeirah Fishing Harbour. It was completely packed and we only got seats outside which was fine because the weather was chilly and lovely. The staff is polite and helpful. Not too many options for vegetarians and the portion sizes are small for the price, but every single thing we ordered tasted good. Special mention to the chicken wings, seafood salad and African Powerhouse dessert. The only reason they're not 5 stars is because they're pricey and need more vegetarian options.
3 Fils serves seafood as a specialty for them, the sushi is great, tried the short ribs it was awesome, been here a long time ago, so I’d definitely wanna go again.
Visited this place with a group of girls for dinner.
Ambience - 4.5/5 its a quaint cozy place tucked away in fishing harbour. The harbour views are lovely and interior is warm.
Food- 4/5 we ordered salmon carpacio, wagyu overload, triple cooked chips, volcano, spicy tuna, lamb ribs and special of the day lobster. All the items were delectable esp the wagyu overload. It was AMAZING!
Portion sizes are ok... could be slightly better.
Service- 4/5
Must try out the restaurant if you are in the area.
Great place, the food is truly excellent! We've come 2 times and we will come back for sure.
Strongly recommend the beef carpaccio and their dragon maki
A hidden gem in the fishing harbor, located just opposite to the sea. Below my ratings:
1. Fast & Efficient service: 5/5 ( the staff are very friendly and know what to recommended based on your preferences)
2. Quality of food: 5/5 ( went for dinner with my friend and the dishes we ordered were so delicious including the desserts)
3. Cleanliness: 5/5 ( the place is very clean they have an open kitchen concept with both indoor and outdoor seating area)
4. Price: 3.5/5 ( the prices are abit high comparing to the portions served)
I just can’t stop eating! Everything on their menu is delicious! Particularly sushi and lamb ribs! And the ambience is so charming as much as the people who serve!
Great atmosphere and service, amazing quality and dishes. Only negative point, portions could be a bit bigger for the price, at least the sides they come with.
Very cute and cozy place. Excellent flavors and top quality ingredients. They deliver what they sell which is great good made simple. However the fact that the portions are soo small is a big let down. My husband and I ordered 5 items between us, which is not normal in any other restaurant, and we got up barely full. So be prepared to order a lot if you’re a big group or go there for a light snack.
The team at 3 Fils is doing an amazing job with every aspect of the casual dining experience. I have had the pleasure of visiting 3 Fils twice and the second visit was better than the first.
Presentation was simple but elegant as it should be done but not missing out on flavor. Many talk of the ‘Umami’ flavor but if you want to experience this than your visit to 3 Fils will give it to you. They special order and fly in the Tuna and Sea Urchin among other items straight from he fish markets of Japan!
Each bite should be left in your mouth for as long as you can, chew slowly and you will really enjoy the complex flavors that Chef Akmal and his team has put together. By the way you will not find soya sauce on the table, it’s not that type of cuisine, and you don’t need it.
I love that the location is so quiet and peaceful with an amazing view of the Harbor and also the Dubai skyline.
I am truly a converted child of 3 Fils. I highly recommend visiting and experiencing 3 Fils more than once!
Fantastic location right by the water, food is all brought in from Japan apparently. All tastes so good, never had a softer octopus dish. Also the wagyu is super fatty and great tasting.
Absolutely delicious and high quality food. Its very rare to find a local business that doesn’t drench the food with “sauces”.
Highly recommended
Possibly the best meal we’ve had in Dubai instagram. 3 fils serves up amazing Japanese-inspired sharing plates. Helmed by Iggy's alum in the kitchen (his wife runs front of house), the menu changes regularly and shows off the chef’s creativity. Oh, and try his version of satay and indomie on the menu for a hit of Southeast Asian food comfort.
Top 3 of “my restaurants” in Dubai. Well placed, cozy but most important amazing food. It might seem slightly expensive however don’t get fooled by prices as every dish is worth much more. I come back as often as I can to this hidden gem of the Dubai metropolitan city
One of my favorite casual restaurants. The food is always on point, rich on flavors and the place has amazing staff. I tried the whole menu and would recommend:
The salmon carpaccio, volcano sushi, the truffle asparagus sushi, dragon actually you can't go wrong with ordering the sushi. Maybe try the charcoal just so you've tried it, amazing flavors a little heavy since its deep fried.
Love 3 fils simply because the food is fresh, delicious and always consistent. The flavours and punchy and everything is cooked to perfection. The seaweed salad was delicious, you can’t go wrong with Otoro and the octopus and black cod was tender and flaky.
Guys this Place is a MUST to try . Omg food is super delicious I really loved everything. It’s a nice cozy place with a nice view . Their sushi is just yumi and super fresh we tried grilled Black cod fish as well it was super tasty and super soft . Stuff was nice and polite . Price wise it’s good very affordable. Definitely will go there again !!!!
While this restaurant is good, it is really overrated and way too expensive for the amount of food that you are getting. I definitely recommend Cake with African vanilla bean. And the Black Cod
Delicious food in a relaxed setting, it has an authentic vibe which is hard to find in Dubai. The menu is strange with bits and pieces from different cuisines, but the taste is top notch. I especially liked the wagyu burger and the salmon tartare. To top it all off, the staff is friendly and helpful. The only issue i found is that the food came too fast and in a strange order, while i would have preferred to begin with the starters and then work my way slowly through the rest.
