The steak was really good e juice. The sides was good as well. Just the price is a little right for the size of the steak.

Tried place for some steaks and the food was delicious.. we ordered chicken espedata, beef steak and chicken steaks which comes with fries and onion rings and sauce. Everything was perfect.
We love the headquarter dishes in South Africa. And this was first time for us to order from this franchisee in Dubai and what is more we ordered delivery. But the taste was pleasantly surprising! Only a comment is on elaboration of each dish which comes in very simple package. (Just meat, just salad and nothing to add as seasoning.)

We had an amazing anniversary dinner here! The parking can be tricky so I’d suggest to plan that in advance. Location is nice to walk around after a heavy dinner. The tables were sanitized a second time in our presence to assure us.
We were given complimentary bread with butter and a sausage gravy as we checked out the menu. For the appetizer, we had the scampi which was so delicious, I’d definitely say it’s a must try! For the steaks, we both opted for the South African meat. Hubby went for the classic rib eye with garlic sauce while I wanted to try the ladies fillet with mushroom sauce. Both our meats were cooked exactly as requested and flavor was phenomenal! One of our best steak experiences! The sides of mashed potatoes and onion rings looked very regular but they were flavored so well and delicious.
Also, the service was one among the best we’ve experienced. The staff were all friendly, and our server Sudhesh explained the menu and helped us chose our dishes. We loved how he was attentive to our table without being disturbing and had our plates cleared immediately after each course and drinks refilled even before we finished the first.
The food too tasty and staff so friendly specialy Sudech he's so kind, friendly and supportive, we tried Rib-eye and fillet both are so tasty but rib eye is better than fillet
My love story with Butcher Shop & Grill started when I found they sold biltong and dried meat sticks, which are immensely helpful as a snack for low car diets. And then one day I ventured to order an entire meal, and what a feast we had!
The roasted beet, freekeh and prawn bowl was one of the best things I've had in ages. The fillet steak was still pink in the middle when it arrived (I have no clue how!) and the garlic potatoes on the side were spicy, crunchy and oh so scrumptious. Some crispy and well spiced chicken wings finished off the absolutely delicious meal!

Here are my tips
1. I have received multiple times mushroom instead of pepper sauce, you need to work on the labelling
2. The beef chili bites I would buy 1kg a week if it didn't have that much fat, maybe create a lean version for more money. I will make it worth your while and would commit to 1kg a week. Right now I'm buying nothing as it's too fatty

Delicious food! My Australian ribeye was cooked perfectly medium as I requested. My girlfriend’s prawns were also delicious.
The only negative we had was with the iced tea, it tasted like Listerine. But other than that, we loved everything we had.
The gentleman that served us, I believe Ramil was his name, was extremely friendly and accomodating.
Ivy Grace is very accomodating and friendly. Place is recommendable.
So we were at JBR, super hungry and trying to decide one place where we mutually want to eat. So we just went up to check the menu at the Butchers Shop & Grill’s front desk & of course meat lover husband wants to eat there and I’m just hungry to eat anything🙊
And i couldn’t believe HOW EXTREMELY delicious the food was.. honestly so far i haven’t had such great meat in UAE (& i just started eating red meat a year & a half ago) So take it from the person who never liked to eat red meat before.. It’s a must try guys, plus the appetizer basket they give you is sooo yummy🥰

Ordered four steaks all cooked to specifications perfectly. Only one waiter outside serving to quite a few tables , would recommend to up the staff as service was slow. Great place to eat and chill since the weather is getting quite pleasant as well.

This post is an update of my previous review of The Butcher Shop & Grill located in Jumeirah Beach Residence.
I visited this Steakhouse for the second time today (after a long time since the previous visit was sometime in November last year).
The steak I got was the South African T-Bone requested to be done mid rare with a side of vegetables and pepper sauce. The meat was cooked as requested; the strip side was a touch more chewy than filet mignon as expected but very flavorful. Pepper sauce ended up being a wonderful accompaniment for this steak meal.
Compared to a very chewy South African Rib Eye that I got on my first visit (also requested to be cooked to mid rare), the T-Bone is something that I'd like to recommend (especially for someone who is a steak aficionado; it could also be plausible that Rib Eye might not be my preferred cut of choice due to its marbling and fat content).
I wasn't overly sold on the mashed potato on my last visit but the vegetables that I got today were definitely a good side to go with the meat.
Complimentary appetizers namely bread, butter and beef sausage were served at the table which was really hospitable of the staff.
Service was nice on the whole.
Food - 4/5. Service - 4/5.
They serve one of the best steaks in UAE. They have a wide range of menu to choose from and have special expertise in preparing steaks. We tried their rib eye steak and it was too amazing. A must try for steak lovers. Best part; they are on @entertainergcc as well.
It was a lovely dinner I had at the butcher shop & grill, they have a good variety of food in their menu and their steaks are quite famous. If you're a meat lover, you should definitely try this place.

Absolutely delicious food in JBR, premium quality steaks, loved the complimentary bread with sausage, the prawns in cream and the spinach in cream were both fantastic, the chocolate fondant dessert is a must-try, being honest would not be able to tell what item I liked the most since everything was mouth-watering.
All the latter followed by warm, friendly service, highly satisfying experience from start to end.
I have already told my friends not to miss visiting the place when they have the chance.
Just thinking about their food makes me hungry.

Best steak in Dubai! We love going to JBR branch as the service and the vibe is excellent compared to the other branches. The onion rings are also a must with your steak. Not to mention the boerewors and tomato relish they give with bread as starters(this is typically South African, and make me think of home). You can also order pap and relish(also typically South African), and this will be absolutely beautiful with a nice juicy rump steak.
Its an excellent location in the heart of The Walk. We enjoyed the food that we ordered especially the Beef Espetada. Its juicy and so tender. The dining crew are friendly and accommodating. Definitely we will comeback

We have been to Butcher Shop & Grill many times, and the visit to the JBR branch never fails us.
We ordered the mate combo, the Biltong, and the salad. All was absolutely delicious. Great variety of food.
Staff was very friendly and menu knowledge is obvious, as we asked the waiter several questions about the menu and he gave us detailed explanations.
The manager is very involved and we noticed him following up with staff and checking in on customers to make sure we were satisfied.
First time to try and i must say this is one of the best food that I ordered recently.
The south African ribeye steak was very delicious. Their mashed potatoes is absolutely amazing and the cutlery comes with the food is quite interesting.
Ordered the T-bone and American Steak with Baba ghanoush. Must say that the steaks were good however the pepper sauce was average. The choice of vegetables was limited. However, on the whole, the ambience is nice and would recommend this place be tried by steak lovers.

Today is one of my best day in my life , during my vacation.Received friendly service by Thant and the gentleman who was wearing the Suit .Habby loves the wagyu fillet and my Australia prime rib was succulence , as my expectation .Thanks to the chef .

We ate at Buther and Grill 3 weeks ago. We are on the hunt for a good steak that night and boy did we found one. We went for the big one, plus with the help of my entertainer voucher we 2kilos of tomohawk was a great steal. Went it arrived, it looked and smelled liked it has been aged for a while, plus point for them. So when we digged in, it did not disappoint. The tenderness of the meat was on point and their mushroom gravy, perfect. Will definitely come back here again for the same exact reason. Oh and how can I forget the onion rings, i can eat this the whole day.
One extra note for butcher and grill: Weve always come by to each on your place ordering the mix grill because of the variety of meats on that platter, but you've removed that on your menu since last year. Can you please bring that back. Thanks :)
Location is the plus point... They served breads and free starter while our orders were being made.. last time I ordered the promo steak of 99dhs for 500grms, it came out as expected.. just plain steak, nothing special..

I had an early dinner with family at the JBR branch of Butchers Shop & Grill located right on The Walk. We opted for outdoor seating, the terrace had sufficient shade with many umbrellas and also portable air conditioning units to keep the temperature down.
We each ordered the 400 gram tenderloin with a choice of two sides and a sauce, and one child's fish and chips. The service was good and the child's meal was brought quite quickly ahead of the adult meals which was helpful. The food quality was good and the pepper sauce that accompanied my steak was really tasty.
I am searching a good steak restaurant and butcher shop is the finest choice.

I had already been many times to mall of the emirates branch but it was my first time in JBR branch. This location has a very wide outdoor seating area with a nice view of the vibrant JBR environment.
First, I wanted to try different types of meat which is listed in menu on 100gr portions but they have a minimum quantity threshold for each meat type so I chose to go for ribeye menu which includes an additional 2 sides and a sauce of your choice.
Steak was cooked welldone without being too dry as I requested. However my friend who asked for medium well was not happy since his steak was overcooked. The staff asked to replace it and served a new one which was medium well. Except an additional waiting time, this was a nice solution -actually the best that could be. My sides were fries and a salad and black pepper sauce - all of which was delicious.
After we finished our steaks, our waiter served a complimentary dessert as a further apology for my friend's overcooked steak. From service perspective, they did their best to ensure we leave there happy which was really a nice gesture.
I will definitely be coming here soon again based on our experience. I would like to thank again the staff and the management who has apparently put customer satisfaction on top of their priority list.

Had a delightful evening, was welcomed with lovely bread and boerewors in tomato chutney. Brought back memories as a child holidaying in the cape, South Africa. Ordered rib eye which was ok but not the best I have tasted. Needed more salt and not as tender Chips had a very generic taste and so did the mash. Had a passion mojito which was nice. Served by a brilliant server, a fellow countryman. He offered top-notch service on the night. Took some biltong home which was delicious. Got the droewors too, but it could have done with being more dried out. Overall a very pleasant experience.

I would recommend the mix grill for two.
Well greeted and seated, the staff was so nice, friendly, positive, and professional. We started with complementary bread and three tasty dips, then we ordered fresh Rocca Salad, the dressing was mild and the ingredients were fresh. Let's move to the most important part "THE STEAK " the very good quality meat shows up immediately from the smell of the plate, I took the black paper sauce it was fine, the presentation was really catchy with compromising the content, which I really respect. The interior is comfy, simple and expresses the name of the restaurant, I noticed a nice display of smoked sausage inside the place.
It was a completely different experience at this South African joint. Although I'm a vegetarian (kinda) I did visit The Butcher Shop and simply loved my vegetarian platter. My friends ordered Chicken Espetada and it was a quite crispy, with medium spices. My special reason to visit this place was the desserts, but I was so full with the delicious platter I could only try one and the best 'Matcha Green Tea' with a cold smoke! Next time, it's going to be more.
