This was a very exciting experience even before reaching the place.
As we reached the place,the excitement became DOUBLE. They have a lavish entry and since we had booked the drinks package from 9 pm to 11 pm that let us in. They have a huge lobby with everything luxurious. The detailing of the place from their carpet, to furniture, to ceiling, to lightings was absolutely perfect and, we wanted to look at it again and again... We were mesmerised by the entire vibe and decor of the place. Our booking was for the sky view restaurant and we were escorted well at the bar. The staff was absolutely HOSPITAl towards us.
The entire feel of being on the top most floor and viewing the entire city down from there was MARVELLOUS. We were given a menu on which we were asked to order our drinks along with 1 starter each. The experience of drinking there along with my group was astonishing .. The starters which came were quite good in quality and taste..
Basically this place is to experience the luxury along with having a good time with your frnds or couple or family..
Overall a must visit place ....

I took my friend as treat for her birthday! It was the best experience! Loved their high tea and the quality of their service and the snacks! Since we both were teetotalers we opted for their non alcoholic drink which contained 22k gold dust! It was worth the money and the experience we had was beyond amazing!

We had an absolutely fabulous time celebrating a friends 30th with afternoon tea and champagne! It's not cheap but you are paying for the view, the experience and a delicious 5 course afternoon tea!!
And the service - spot on!! They accomodated all food preferences, kept bringing us refills and also packed away what we couldnt finish!

This is one of those places which were on my to do list. My husband surprised me by taking here on my bday. It was truly a luxurious experience. The ambiance is beautiful and the service is exceptional. The bar is more for drinks and finger food and the vegetarian options were limited. However we got some hummus, falafel and fries. The best time to visit this place is around 6 pm so that you can get both day and night view.
Best place to enjoy the city of Dubai day and night, they're very welcome staffs and will suggest the best for visitors. Once enjoying the view at the same time enjoying the seven stars hotel in the world.

After hearing the experiences from many we went to Burj Al Arab for high tea experience.
Amazing ambience,excellent service,very accommodative and excellent staff,the only thing we did not like is food,we are vegetarians and did not have many options and the options available were not that good,most them were cold cuts and dessert, knowing that we are vegetarians the staff tried to get us vegetarian stuff but nothing was that gr8 and my expectations were very high considering the kind of place it is,it is fine for an experience but I would say extremely overpriced for the kind of food they provide and definitely not a place to visit if you are a vegetarian and a nonalcoholic
This is probably one of the best spots at the Burj Al Arab. It’s the highest point of the hotel and this little capsule that you see at the head of the Burj Al Arab is actually a swanky bar on this inside. You will get one of the best views from the seating here and the interiors are so amazing that you’ll definitely want to get your camera out. Don’t forget to look at the ceiling. Trust me you’ll remember my review when you look up at the sky view bar. Just go see it.

Wonderful view from the skyview bar. Good service, good ambiance, good snacks n drinks. Visit to this place is a very costly affair but nevertheless it is an experience of a lifetime. Also if one wishes there are other restaurants in burj al Arab which are worth visiting once in a lifetime.
The experience was really really good! The moment you enter you see the Rolls Royce lined up in the parking lot(phew! A royal entry😁), a warm ambience, escalator to the bar is sober enough and a treat to the eye. The lights, glitters and the architecture will take your breath away! Try choosing the view. If not it is still ok. Since it is just a bar, dont expect “food(to fill)”, expect snacks/ salads/nuts/olives/smoked tuna(the tower)!. Coming to the drinks/cocktail: the best is “burj royale”, try the spicy cocktail too.mrs big cocktail is a feast to the eye, it is with a vanity kind of kettle, lipstick(jelly inside) and nail polish set(different flavors), i shall not reveal too much, give it a try yourself, am sure you will be excited to see the outcome. A lot is said about Skyview Bar. There is a sense of occasion coming here, partly because it means coming to the Burj Al Arab and partly because we were here for my wife's birthday to enjoy their high tea. To date, it is the only time I have been to the Burj Al Arab.
There is a lot of feedback about the Bar already, so here are some tips:
- BOOKING IS ESSENTIAL. You cannot get passed security without a booking. Moreover, there is a series of 'tollgates' once you're in the hotel with the staff. Unless you are already staying at the hotel, you'll want a booking.
- DECIDE THE VIEW YOU WANT. It is a 180 view in 3 main parts: view facing the marina + the sea, just the sea or facing towards Downtown & the sea. We faced the last one which was a great view. My advice is make is clear in your booking which view you want to face. Just facing the ocean might be a bit boring.
- CONFIRM WHICH PACKAGE YOU WANT. This will affect the price point. If you are here, you already accepted a certain financial hit but you can stem the damage.
- COME HUNGRY. High tea is often small nibbles and you can leave wanting more. Not here. There was more food than we could truly manage. The staff make sure you get your fill (the staff are great too). We have big appetites and this was a lot.
- TAKE A DOGGY BAG. We did, there's no shame in it!
- ADVISE ON ALLERGIES. We were fine but if you have a gluten allergy etc, you will want to make that known during your booking.
- PLAN ACTIVITIES. As you are in the Burj Al Arab and if you are not a hotel guest, you should look into moving into their beach bar afterwards. This is at the bottom of the hotel facing the back of the sea.
Amazing views. Great service. The food and drinks were very good too. The location is unique and allows you to tour the hotel. A must if you are in Dubai

the restaurant is cozy as usual but menus are a but different.
Waiters are so helpful and try their very best to make our meal and drinks memorable.
Although I do not like the sauce of the salmon(maybe because i expected as soy and wasabi)
But everything is the best!..
I prefer to dine at around 7pm to have 2 different views day for the sea view and night for the glittering lights of my one and only Dubai..

Ambience : burj al arab in itself is awe-spiring. It was in our list for quite sometimw but we wanted to go ona special day and hence on our 10th anniversary.
The bar in itself was elegant and nice. The sky was clear and we could see a long way. The decor was in blue and green. The snack platter was in the shape of burj al arab.
Service: attentive and to the point. They go about the duty professionally. They did suggest cocktails.they did give us a slice of cake and gave my husband a rose to give me.that was sweet.right from the ground floor staff ( at the entrace to lift to bar ) to staff at bar wished us which was nice gesture.
Food and drink : we didnt order figer food as such.we were there for cocktails and mocktails.
Overall: There is minimum spend. But do try having food or a a drink at the 7 star hotel and its bar for an experience in itself.
I took my mom to Burj Al Arab's Skyview Bar for an afternoon tea a couple of months ago as one of my many birthday celebrations.
When she first visited Dubai, she always wanted to see Burj Al Arab even from the gate, but I wasn't able to take her there. On her second visit to Dubai, I made sure she'd not seen it from the gate, but take her inside. Not only was it an afternoon tea experience for my mom; my husband and I also booked a room in Burj Al Arab for my birthday and my mom also stayed with us. What an amazing treat for all of us :)
If It had rating above 5 I would have rated to the highest, what a place to celebrate and happiness. The hotel is itself an icon in the world, the interior, luxury beyond the imagination and world class hospitality there is no match other than this.

We very much enjoyed a peaceful and serene Afternoon Tea experience at the Burj al Arab Skyview Bar, overlooking for Palm Jumeirah fronds and calm waters of the Gulf. The portions are small but after two hours you leave content and full. Definitely you get your value for money, but it is a one time experience in Dubai, I wouldn't come again as it is quite pricey.
Amazing place. I remember going there when i was a kid for the first time and still love the place. Nice ambience . Nice food and caring and wonderful staff. Felt like a special person when i went there. Still looking forward to going there

Coming from Yorkshire, I have to say I do love a good afternoon tea. Usually in a cute countryside setting with fancy mugs and plates and REAL Yorkshire Tea.
That being said, I now live in Dubai, and this English tradition is quite hard to come by. So one weekend I was treated to ‘Sky Tea’ at the Burj Al Arab! I couldn’t move to Dubai and not try afternoon tea in a 7 star hotel could I!?
Driving across the bridge up to the huge sail shaped hotel, I quickly realised we weren’t going to be enjoying Victoria Sponge and cucumber sandwiches any time soon. Our cheap rental car was whisked away by the valet driver and we entered the huge lobby area.
The inside of the hotel is just as beautiful as the outside with fish tanks and water fountains taking center stage. A glass elevator with sea views to the back of the hotel takes you to the Skydeck.
When the elevator doors opened I certainly was not expecting to feel like I had entered an alien space ship, with bright flashing lights and a trippy corridor leading to the Skydeck, but then maybe that’s the look they were going for!
The views on the other hand were breathtaking, on one side you could see Palm Jumeirah and on the other was a view of the Jumeirah Beach Hotel right down to downtown Dubai. Providing it is a clear day you can see quite far! (It was not so clear for us)
Now for the food, it was never ending! Not that I’m complaining …
To start we were given dates and a glass of Louis Roederer Brut, which was expertly poured might I add! This followed with a White Chocolate “Petite Pot” with Strawberry.
Next was the Duck Confit Pie with Ceps and Foie Gras Cranberry Dressing… that’s a mouthful … Quite literally! But oh my god this was delicious! I often think that ‘posh’ food is just given fancy names but wow this was so good!
When they brought out the finger sandwiches they arrived on a Burj Al Arab shaped stand which was a nice touch! The sandwiches all had different types of bread with tuna, salmon, beef etc. inside. They even brought around additional trays of sandwiches so you could have more of the ones you liked the most … value for money right there!
Next up… (yes there was more!) the waiter brought out a huge Burj Al Arab stand filled with Homemade Scones and Devonshire Clotted Cream (Yum!) and Homemade Jams! There was also a selection of Mini Patisseries.
This was then followed by a Lychee and Rose Sorbet … Wow! That’s a lot of food, and here we were thinking we would be hungry after!
So, I left my personal favourite bit till last, the drinks!
Every day I spend so much money on coffee, therefore, as you can imagine I was in my element when they told me that after my glass of Brut I could order as much coffee, tea, iced tea, iced coffee and juices as I want! I mean, come on, I was in the Burj Al Arab … this coffee had to taste like heaven right?! So I made it my mission to try as much of the drinks menu as possible.
The two fancy looking cocktails above were the nicest flavoured iced tea I’ve ever had!
Oh and below… well that was a Cappuccino with gold dust on! Call me a Princess but I’ll have gold dust on every Cappuccino from now on thanks! AMAZING.
We were given a gift at the end of the meal consisting of chocolates and a Burj Al Arab pen. Everyone loves a good souvenir pen!
I watched the sunset and had one last coffee. Now you would think with the amount I drank I would need a wee, well lets be honest, I probably did, but I never went!! To this day I am disappointed in myself for not checking out a 7 star bathroom! But if that’s my only regret then I guess it was a pretty successful afternoon.
At AED 620 each (currently that’s £127 each!) there’s no denying that this was an expensive experience, but I think if you take in to account the setting and the fact that you’re in a 7 star hotel!! (and your complimentary Burj Al Arab pen) It maybe helps soften the blow a little when the bill arrives.

Very new and creative cocktails. We asked for their recommendations which didn't fail. The view is breathtaking. A must try.
amazing place and not to the view, i mean the view was wonderful. to sip on a refreshing mojito with cupcakes, and also have a coblet of wine with olives and cheese is amazing. my experience at this place was sttrikingly awesome. the staff was very warm in their welcome. i do not know where they got such polite and warm staff from. and also the view of the dubai skyline from the top is superb. a bit pricey but this place is worth the splurge.!!!
The experience alone is worth the trip, always an afternoon tea favourite. The views are so serene and the service is impeccable. Everything is so elevated with sophistication you cannot help but love it here.
Being the Burj Al Arab, you cannot expect anything less than exceptional service and attention throughout your visit. Great place and a must visit at least once for the experience and of course the view!

The highlight of this place is the chic sophisticated unique decor and ambience.
This is the best place to view Dubai(also Palm Jumeirah) from the top. Nothing too great about the food, it's tastes fine. The bartenders are very talented at making the best cocktails in town.

Had guests down from Sydney. It was their first trip to Dubai after getting married. All my weekends in college used to be with them back in Sydney. So it was payback time. Took them to the best of places Dubai has to offer. Skyview Bar during sunset is definitely one of them. The views of the Arabian Gulf, the upmarket decor the exclusive feel of the luxurious setting all adds up to make your experience a memorable one.

Burj Al Arab is an epitome of luxury, a brand that pretty much put Dubai on the map of the world and set a whole new standard within the hotels and tourism industry worldwide, challenging every benchmark there is out there.
The Skyview bar located on the top floor of the hotel follows suit as it's an exceptional place, with an exceptional view, offering exceptional service, all of it together resulting in an exceptional experience :).
If you are lucky to get a table by the window, you can enjoy the glittering lights of Dubai and if you are there for high tea then the sunset view is surreal.
If you enjoy fine experiences and haven't tried this place, you are missing out.
This is a perfect place to be at anytime of the day .... I just went here just to grab some drinks so don't know much about the food ... But the ambience is to die for .... Loved this place ..
Finally made it to this place! Excellent afternoon tea which stands at 620 per head. It's a 7 course meal so you they stuff you with plenty of things 😂. Staff I must admit is absolutely terrific.

I give SkyBar in the Burj Al Arab five stars because how could you not? It's an experience.
As a major afternoon tea fan I SkyBar was a must on my list. Yes it is pricy but again its an experience that gives you the seven star hotel service and quality.
The afternoon tea begins with a hot dish before moving onto the sandwiches and small bites. It's all beautifully presented and the staff are more than happy to offer you more, or assist in any way.
Tables by the window however cant be booked in advance and run on a first come first service basis (they offer two seating times in the afternoon) so do get their right on time if you are looking for a window seat. Despite how pricy the experience is it is a full house every time (and for good reason of course).

I visited this place twice now for the afternoon tea and both times I had a great experience. The afternoon tea includes a few trays of various sandwiches and sweets, coffee and tea. Make sure you go when you're hungry because they serve quite a lot of food. The atmosphere and the view are great, the service spot on and the food ok. For 600 dirhams I was expecting slightly better food (I found it generally a bit bland) but I feel this place deserves a 4 mainly for the experience itself, the view and the service. I would recommend going at sunset so that you can enjoy the view by day and by night. Recommended if you'd like to experience a taste of what it feels like to visit a 7 stars hotel.

This place me and my husband had planned as surprise for parent's visit to dubai. And the surprise was totally worth it. The minimum spend per person is Aed 350. In this amount you can enjoy the 1-2 drinks with some munchies. The view of the city is breathtaking and the ambience of the place is totally luxurious and royal. It has the aura of the old world charm which you won't find in the new five star hotels in dubai. We had gone in the evening time and hence the view of the sea is not that appealing. If I were to go this restaurant again it would definitely at the time of high tea to enjoy the sea as well as city view. As expected the staff is very polite, courteous and friendly. It was totally worth to have it on my wish list and getting it ticked off was a really amazing experience.

Simply luxurious !! Visited Skyview at night to celebrate the coming of our first anniversary, and our experience was beautiful. I was amazed to see plenty of vegetarian dishes on their menu. We ordered Arabic Mezzeh platter and spring rolls.
As the name says it all, SKY VIEW BAR, we were in between the sky viewing Dubai, their Bar Menu has exotic and as expensive or impressive drinks to serve. The Staff was exceptionally courteous in their service and hospitality. I rate their hospitality exceeding 5. To our delight since it was our anniversary they served a small pastry like cake with 'Happy Anniversary' written on it and a bouquet of roses as complimentary. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED FOR A QUIET LUXURY EXPERIENCE.

Angus beef burger and hot chocolate. Not an ideal combination but each of it was a killer on its own. Ambience was great. Staff were friendly. A little expensive, but worth giving it a shot, coz this is one of those shots that you shall never regret taking. Would definitely recommend this place to my friends.

What a royal experience. The view, the service, the variety, the experience, the ambience, the whole thing.
U are paying for something really worth it. However, if you don't secure a window seat, then you will be missing a lot. Not all tables grants u the same ultimate experience and here were the 0.5 grading drops. So expect to look at the window seaters with envy and may be devastating.
The tea variety and taste is outstanding. Nothing specific to recommend. You just have to try and try. The food is good but not something that you have never tasted before. They are generous with their offering and sweet in their service. They even gave us a small gift and flowers and a tour around the hotel (ps, that is not a standard thing).

Sky view bar defines Luxury with a magnificent view of the Palm . The feeling of being special . Right from the point of taking the lift to getting your reserved table , you will be awed by their hospitality .
Variety of teas , coffees,...both hot and cold ,wine , juices are part of their hi tea .
Their hot chocolate is really nice and for non alcoholics they have a drink made up of dates which is worth trying.
Desserts - SUPERB . Scones , tarts , various pastries are just out of the world .Icing on the cake is the small chocolate box that they give you as a take away .. Chocolates that melt in your mouth .
Disappointment - their sandwiches . Very regular . At a place like that expectation is so high that just another sandwich is not acceptable . 3-4 varieties but mediocre .

Like the overall Vip Lounge Experience of the skyview bar as it has amazing view of the skyline of dubai and the ambience doesnt fail to amaze at any cost.The drinks and foodbites were just perfect for the evening.Recommended for special occasions.
Booze with a good amount of finger food good service and a beautiful ambiance only wish they had a smoking area as you would have to go all the way out of the Burj Al Arab to have a smoke return to ur table. However a good ecperience.....
Finesse! That's the word I could pen down, if I were to put it in black & white. Perfectly set table with the perfect view. I had the most wonderful sunset tea time with my significant other. We had a joyous waiter attending to us who made the evening more pleasant. I did relish the food but I wished it looked more fancier... Something beyond what the Masterchef US and Oz can show us.

Came here to Celebrate my friends birthday by dining at one of the top bars in the UAE which is located in the 7 star Burj Al ARAB hotel . Honestly , when it comes to the ambience and the view this is so far the best bar I have ever come across . I am a big time seafood fan so I tried their different soughts of prawns which was not bad at all . Staff was really very friendly . They offered us a tray which was Burj shaped having 3 layers which had duck tart , olives and something of fish I completely loved their concept . The above mentioned drinks are amazing and it's a must try .
Over all , Looking for some lovely drinks and snacks with the best view , this is the perfect place 👍

This is possibly the best dining experience I've ever had.
After reading a lot of reviews online, I've decided to do the high tea at Skyview bar over many other options (I don't know why I only allowed myself to go to one place for hightea when I was in Dubai..). And I was very well aware that the window tables are the only tables that make this whole experience worth the price so I made sure to arrive early. And boy did I get the best table in the house.
The waitress was oh so very very nice, it is such a pity that I did not catch her name (both ears were heavily blocked after my flight, so pardon me if you are the waitress and reading this review). I'm not even going to attempt to write out everything that I had because there were a lot. I literally ran out of compliments whenever the waitress checked on me, because everything was so nice and perfect. I was by myself so that means extra food for me, since everything came in pairs! The drinks were so nice as well, iced mocha, and the great selection of tea! All drinks are inclusive. And the waitress kept asking if I wanted a refill for the food, which I had to decline because there was no more room. I stayed there for 3 and a half hour (why not right) and was still encouraged to stay more, but I was feeling pretty tired, having just arrived in Dubai a few hours before.
Overall, I will definitely do it again, more than once.

From the beginning I would like to say that the high score is mainly for the amusement. Why? Most of the clientele were couples for some kind of celebration. But in a funny way that gave the place a good feeling vibe.
Skyview is not about sitting at the bar, enjoying to watch the drinks being prepared and say hello to the staff. Partly because of the outside view, which is a winner. Perhaps this is why Skyview aims to be a place to “create once-in-a-lifetime memories”? Maybe.
I applaud the many imaginative descriptions of the cocktails, served in a five star (outdated) setting with the kind of hospitality that aim to make every visit memorable.
The mock cocktail menu isn’t heavily influenced by any particular style, but using simple, quality ingredients like camel milk made my evening. Food-wise, you have oysters, mezzeh, foie gras, morsels that come in the form of ceviches and mini hamburgers. Essentially, if you’re a well-done sort of eater, you’re struggling here, but not complaining.
However when I go to a bar it's not just about the drinks, it should be a full-package service - sometimes I just want to stop for a glass of champagne or a beer and should always be perfectly served with equal attention to detail. When I sit down and look around I would like to feel the hospitality of the place, good service, great atmosphere and, of course, good quality drinks. In this respect Skyview feels only like a place to check in – check out.
Overall Skyview Bar (not vey original name I may say) is a pleasant bar to enjoy a fine drink and amusing atmosphere (if you have that kind of humor)!
Lived in Dubai for 19 years and have never been to the skylounge at the Burj Al Arab until yesterday evening.
We went for drinks in the night. While the place looked a bit dated it was put Dubai on the map and I'm kind of glad they haven't updated the venue into something more modern.
Service was how you would expect, staff was attentive and helpful with recommending drinks an full of knowledge.
Drinks are expensive, but considering where we are and the quality of the drinks I thought the price was worth it.
A must try drink is "The Hoax" - sounds strong on the menu, but probably one of the nicest drink ever.
We tried a variety of drinks from the menu and was surprised how each drink came out in a different style, glass and theme (smokey drinks look cool).
Probably won't go back for along time as it's more of a been there done that type of place, but still, thoroughly enjoyable with great service and drinks.
Let me start with saying that this place should be visited during the day if you wish to catch the skyline else it's fine, night time is also nice but you can hardly see buildings outside. You must reserve a place in advance and yes, it is a must visit if in Dubai.

We were greeted by the maitre d', who wished me a happy birthday (how else was I getting the hubs to bring me here!?) and led us through a futuristic tunnel to our table. Disappointingly we didn't have a table near the window as they are allocated on a first come, first serve basis which I was pretty bummed about. My advice is to try and get there as early as possible before your seating so that you can get a window seat!
Our personal waiter came over and introduced himself to us and familiarised us with the menu. As we'd opted for the Champagne Afternoon Tea (495 AED/£76 pp) we were both served a glass of Louis Roederer Brut, which unfortunately was not unlimited. Along with the bubbles we were also served a platter of dates, followed by a beautifully presented berry tart and cream.
We were offered the Chef's Carvery of the Day which was roast beef. but opted for the vegetarian option which was really good. Following this our tea and coffee orders were taken. We were encouraged to try as many as we liked so I opted for a vanilla infused tea and Indy went for an anti-oxidant based tea which neither of can remember the name of!
We were also presented with a selection of finger sandwiches, with our waiter taking the time to explain each one in detail. The sandwiches came on a stand in the shape of the hotel which I thought was excellent attention to detail!
We were offered more sandwiches but decided to save the room for our next course. I noticed that the sun was slowly setting so we went for a wander around the bar to watch the sunset.
Upon returning to our seats we were presented with my favourite course of the day - freshly baked scones, home made jam and Devonshire clotted cream, French pastries, muffins and cookies.
Whilst I scoffed down my cake, the hubs secretly went and spoke with the manager to see whether we could move to a window table which had remained empty throughout the afternoon. The manager kindly agreed and we were moved in time to watch the city light up before nightfall.
Our final course of the day was a lychee and rose sorbet - a perfect palate cleanser! We were also offered a 'to go' box with even more goodies to enjoy.
Although expensive (we paid £158), it's not everyday you get to enjoy tea at the world's only '7 star' hotel. The service was amazing and consistent throughout, the quality and choice of food was on point and the views were great. It's also a cheeky way to get access to the hotel without forking out thousands to stay in a suite. If you're planning to visit Dubai and are celebrating a special occasion, then definitely consider Afternoon Tea here.
I think Burj Al Arab looks more impressive on the outside .It is 15 years old and hasn't really been renovated inside. The sky view bar has a nice view, but the carpets there omg- so old fashioned. There is a minimum spend of 350 AED per person for drinks. They play live jazz music. I think older couples would like that place more. I personally would choose a nice lounge like 360 nearby.

I feel there is still some room for improvisation to add more life to the place . Secondly, it would be better if a couple of more things are added on the food menu thought the bar menu is commendable!!

I love Burj Al Arab panorama so, when we visited Dubai, we went to the SkyView Bar to see the building inside. Maybe it’s kitsch, maybe art, but I definitely like the big atrium.
Staff directed us to the "reception", where we had to wait, because we were early. Then by the elevator to the 27th floor where you have to wait to get seated. At the bar my first thought was: „How beautiful view!“. The view over Dubai is magnificent! But the view definitely depends on your table – there are only few tables by the window. The bar is quite dark, maybe a little old, but I liked it. By the way – they require a "smart casual" dress but they let get in a man in jeans. Sad.
At the beginning of „afternoon tea“ are dates, a berry desert and glass of Champagne or if you prefer non-alcoholic you get sparkling date juice. Then delicious roasted beef with mashed potatoes and salty savories (small sandwiches) with cucumber, salmon, beef etc. served on double decker Burj Al Arab plate :-). It’s followed by the tea of your choice and desserts on bigger (four-storey) Burj Al Arab plate. The last is sorbet and a receipt, of course… :-) Men got roses for their partner and everybody got small box of chocolates to take home.
The staff is distant but helpful, the meal is delicious. I would prefer a more salty than sweet, but it’s called „afternoon tea“ and the sweet belongs with the tea. Prices are exorbitant and the value does not match the price AED 620. You can visit the bar not only for the "afternoon tea" but the minimum spend is AED 350 per person. You definitely pay for the visit and view, not for drinks and food. But we were there not only for the food and as a whole it was fantastic. If you are tourist, you have to take it as an experience.
