Always a fun spot to hang out and enjoy some excellent food and cold drinks. Although a somewhat limited menu, the quality is great. I recommend the Smash Burger but get ready to get messy. Staff is always on point, very courteous and attentive! Cheers!

Extremely to 🐌 slow. You shouldn't have to wait 30 minutes or more to get your dinner paid for. We had a party of 4 one night and 10 to other nights. Willing to go back and try it again.

The service is very good although there some corners where waitress can easily miss you. The food was great. I was looking for a great pub with pork so the mission was accomplished. However, the pork menu is separate from the main menu so you have to ask for it!. Overall, it was a good experience.

Best nachos i have ever had!

It was an amazing time spent with a lot of Drinking involved but the Live Sports screening was Fun.<br/>The Server was Friendly & Doing a good job.

We have visited BWT couple of times in last few weeks and easily its been one of the best restaurants we've been to in the "new normal" times that we live in. They take great care of all customers, maintain safe social distancing protocols and the biggest cherry on top is that they run some of the best "all day" deals on food and drinks. Special shout-out to Mr Jan for his service and Mr Danijel the restaurant manager. 100% recommended.

Prices are too high comparing with the service. We waited for a long time for the potato wedges and the taste was terrible. I was expected to be oven cooked but they were deep fried instead and the oil that they used was old, instead of brown color they were almost black! <br/>Not acceptable. Definitely wouldn’t go there again!

Asked if we could used Z.Gold on soft drinks : were told yes for our drink type. Then at the time of addition, were told (by another waiter) that was not working on soft drinks... ended up paying full price.

I have visited the place a couple of times. Its a decent place a watch a game. The prices are decent too. We ordered the Chicken Nachos and it was brilliant. They were totally not reluctant on the Guacamole and Sauce. We ordered the wings, which was decent. The drinks are priced at around 50 for Beer. <br/><br/>I tried the Brooklyn Brewery Indian Pale, And it was really really nice. And they had Zomato Gold too. Which was great.<br/><br/>Must Try : Chicken Nachos

A great sports bar located at the Marriott Marquis. Very presentable with pleasant interiors. They have a spacious bar with tv screens, perfect to watch matches. The service was amazing, the staff were very friendly and the drinks variety was quite good.

Good happy hour deals. Had chicken with Tennessee sauce and steak frites with beef briskets and both really tasty. Service could improve. Always had to ask for waiter to take the order for each drink.

Always a great place to have some great selection of tap beers and other drinks. Live screening of football is a great add on..Service crew is super spot on namely Yuvraj/Tian and Charles..<br/>Lowenbrau beer and Nachos are my all time favourites..

Average bar with good choice of beers. The bar food is very limited though and the ambiance is good albeit a bit artificial. Beware that Zomato Gold is not always accepted. If they show a special sports game, final or otherwise they may choose not to accept it. Also they don't allow Zomato gold on happy hour drinks (unlike say Warehouse or other bars). If you are in the area, try out the bar otherwise other options are available in town. For the non drinking driver expect to wait a bit to get the car back, it is a very busy hotel.<br/><br/>In short, good choice of beers, friendly staff, atmosphere is clinical, management is very picky on applying discounts. Not the right place to eat (aside from an average burger).

A sports bar located in JW hotel hotel, having a nice outdoor area overlooking the canal, had few drinks, didn’t try their food yet.<br/>Ambiance is cool, staff are helpful, a footloose challenge at the entrance will cheers you up.

Probably the best place in Dubai to watch live football! Loved the ambience beside the canal. There's indoor seating as well . The staff was very friendly.<br/>

Awesome place .. definately a hidde gem ! Our server Ali was so attentive and kept checking whether we were ok and comfortable. I requested the staff there to arrange for a small cake as a suprize for my friend celebrating her birthday.. and they arranged for it on spot. We ordered for boneless chicken wings and they were tastyy.. this place offers you good service, beautiful views and tasty food. I will definately visit this outlet again 😃

Seating next to the canal is nice. Decent selection of beer and eats. Thumbs up to the boneless wings in assorted flavors, and the beer batter fried onion rings. Chilled red wine? .. Hmm.

Visited this place just to have couple of beers , ordered for couple of Heineken Drafts along with some nuts as well , staff people were quick in their service as well , when it comes to the ambience the place is decent and lastly when it comes to the pricing it was pocket friendly not heavy on your pockets .

Fun place to just chill out, watch d game and spend a good evening out with friends. Some great food as well.. Chef Nigel recommended the Jack Daniel wings which was dish licking good :) We were also in luck as we got to try their Oktober fest menu, we ordered the Knuckles - perfect blend of flavours. Absolute Love and a must visit.

Great pleace for afterwork drinks . There are a lot of promotions for Oktoberfest plus there is a live band (seems everyday).  <br/>Huge screens for football and sports. <br/>It's a casual , easy going place to enjoy with friends.

Great ambience and one of the only places with 1 L beer mugs available. This is the place to get your Thursday nights going, because they also have beer pong. Classic Thursdays!

The old Velocity is now a tavern! It is still in the other tower at the Marriott, which meant that it is still feels like being in the middle of an empty building.<br/>But, if you are willing to plough through, there is lot to be pleased about. The Tavern is a sports bar, with plenty of screens all around. The bar is smack in the middle of the floor. The decor is without any fuss. There are plenty of beers on tap. And, the nacho was not bad at all. It also gives you a sense of space, which is great, if you want to have a relaxed evening chatting with friends. Prices are not too bad either. <br/>Do go, if you find your neighborhood pub too full on a busy match day! <br/><br/>

The food menu seems small and not enough oprions to choose from but whatever is on that menu is really good!<br/><br/>We got the Black truffle mac n cheese whcih was absolutely delicious. You may think the portion isnt enough for one but it definitely was. It was rich and creamy and came with toasted garlic bread and a side of greens. Really recommend this!<br/><br/>For burgers, we got The Burger and One Badass Burger. I liked The burger better than the other one as i fekt it had more flavor. The bun was delocious as was the onions and the beef. Highly recommend this.<br/><br/>Lastly, got the BWT Nachos which i feel was a waste because it just didnt taste that great. Good enough to share though.<br/><br/>Price wise I feel it was a bit on the pricey side for burgers but other than that, good experience here.

This is my honest review for Bridgewater.<br/><br/>The first time I've been here was during ramadan (night time). It was a weekday as I can recall and the "tavern" was not busy at that time.<br/><br/>I will start with the location. Bridgewater is located inside of JW Marriot, and for those of you who don't know, the hotel offers a free Valet Parking as long as you will dine or drink in any of the variety of restaurants, pubs and bars therein.<br/><br/>The Ambiance of the Bridgewater is more like a sports bar because obviously you can see in different side of the walls a flatscreen tv playing different kinds of sports specially soccer.<br/><br/>The inside place is really awesome having their bar placed in the middle, where everyone can have an access going there which adds value to the whole experience.<br/><br/>They have a ton of choices for draught beers and bottled beers, cocktails and other alcoholic beverages. I recommend you to try the Budweiser Mexican style.<br/><br/>As for the food. Honestly I didn't go through their menu. I saw an ad placed on the table it was an "angus beef burger + 1 pint of Budweiser for 80dhs" and I immediately drool and wanting to taste it asap. And by the time the burger was served to me, my eyes and mouth exploded and was amazed specially of the taste 10/10, the amout of serving and the presentation (food plating). The super yummy cajun fries and the thirst quenching ice cold mexican style budweiser is just a cherry on the top. That burger was the bomb. Lit af and its unforgettable which makes my total value of experience perfect. 👊😊<br/><br/>The toilets/washroom is very clean and smells good too. When you have something like this, this also affect the whole value of experience and satisfaction.<br/><br/>Kudos and applause to the friendly bartenders, waiters, waitresses, bouncers and cleaners whos maintaining the place clean and safe. The bar has good service, but this is review is more for the valet service at the hotel. The valet hurry you up when you arrive at the hotel. They take ages to get your car back. When you try to complain they are rude and their standard answer is we are working in heat and it’s busy.... avoid the place, they don’t deserve your business....

This sports bar themed restaurant is one of the coolest places around Dubai canal that serves bar food. (Entertainer Friendly)<br/>TIP: ask them that you want to be seated on the second floor terrace, where the view is AMAZING! and they serve shisha.<br/><br/>FOOD:<br/>They have small menu for food but this place is known for their unique burgers and the fries are to die for.<br/>TIP: go for the bad a$$ burger or the double barrel burger<br/><br/>SERVICE:<br/>The service is fast and the staff are friendly.<br/><br/>AMBIENCE:<br/>The view of this place is sooo beautiful as it overlook the waterfall of Dubai canal. Chilled atmosphere - great to watch the soccer or any games for that matter. Service is excellent the waiters are so friendly . The food are pub style food .. I really enjoyed their macaroni and short ribs.

With stunning canal side views, Cafe Artois by Bridge water tavern officially opened last weekend at JW Marriott Marquis Dubai. The terrace has a very relaxed, chilled family-friendly ambiance with live music and some amazing succulent barbecue food options with well crafted beverage selection. <br/><br/>We loved the starters, grills and delectable desserts. Everything was great. The stuff is very friendly and the service was prompt.<br/><br/>Must check it out to enjoy a lovely laidback late lunch with family or friends. They even have small play area for kids. Its a lovely place to enjoy outdoors with lovely view, food and company. We loved the comfortable chilled ambiance and had a amazing time with our friends. We would definitely recommend this spot! They open at 4pm everyday!

I thought it was great food, the waiters gave us great service but the live music was goddamn terrible and led to us leaving immediately after our tasty food.

This hotel is humongous and has so much to offer, this is one lovely place to drop by,<br/>Quite a sports pub feel, but still quite modish and urban interiors, casual ambience after work hours one should try.<br/>Happy hours are excellent, crisp and refreshing fosters kept me company in the evening,<br/>Decently crowded, for a football night it will surely be worth visiting.

Gastropub sports bar , thumbs up <br/><br/>Went here for for few drinks and food on Thursday early eve , atmosphere was lively post work week chatter , didn't really notice if there was music , the look is darkish with mix of high tables and low chairs , staff were friendly and quick <br/><br/>delighted to use entertainer voucher for really nice chenin Blanc and ordered the "the burger" <br/>Very tasty !! Tho unfortunately the bar is s little dark I couldn't properly see the burger but it came on black bun and was super delicious! Possible the nicest burger I had in v long time !<br/><br/>Overall yes I would go back and def have the burger again , next time I'll take pic !

This is a fantastic bar to go and watch football. The TV's are big. They have a great selection of beer. Staff are friendly and attentative. The burger at the Tavern in my opinion is the best in Dubai.

This is an amazing place to watch football, they have many huge screens and small televisions as well. The ambience is good. The service is outstanding, from the time we entered till we left Mr. Suhaili was attending to us attentively and he was pleasant. Full points for the service. We just had drinks, some beers and cocktails, the Bridgewater Martini is absolutely gold, loved it and the spiced pina colada was just alright. Will definitely go back for game nights. They have shishas as well, so it's fantastic place that offers everything!<br/><br/>Updated: After several visits now, it’s still my favourite place to watch football. The food though is nothing great, wings is average, beef nuggets and Parmesan dusted fries are also nothing great and sausages with mash is mediocre. And I feel the place is expensive but that’s what you pay for a classy place with a view of the canal (if you are sitting outdoors).

The place has been re-vamped recently, it looks amazing. The signature nachos are the best! Loved them, couldn't stop eating. The vibe is amazing and the view is beautiful. Must-go place after work if you need some good relaxed time. On weekends, it keeps on getting better and better. House of AFRIKA nights are fun 😁

One of the late nights on a weekend happened to be here , never knew this was the place which was velocity in the past. The interiors are very well done up which is in par with the current trend of gastro pubs around . It was past midnight and I was glad to get some good food too. Staff was really good and along with some beers we placed a quick order for some chicken wings and fish and chips . Food was served within 15 mins . Fish chips was good not outstanding though. I loved the chicken wings even before I tasted it for the fact the way it was served . A little cart of sauces was accompanied along with the chicken wings . The sauces of our choice was mixed right in front of us which was something unique and cute . Not to forget the chicken actually tasted amazing I choose the garlic sauce . The portions were good enough for one . The place wasn't that crowded but it has a real chill out vibes after a long day to unwind . I love it.
