Always when I have guests in Dubai I bring them to this house; love the experience, the food is amazing & of course excellent friendly staff!!
i simply loved this place for its ambience and food
Excellent emirati dishes, beautiful place, and Wael was really nice with us.
Lovely food, nice people. A Dubai must visit experience.
Always love this restogreat local food in dubai good service good ambiance
Very nice place went with family for dinner 🍲 and everything were perfect specially service from the time you enter in the restaurant
Pros
Lovely ambience
Friendly staff
Crispy falafel
Cons
Salad although delicious had too much dressing
Disposable cutlery and plates were used
Beautiful ambience. Something different to experience in Dubai. Food is amazing with a good quantity. The staff were very friendly special mention to M Jamal who took care of me and my friends when we went to this TeaHouse in al fahidi branch. One pot of tea is good enough for four people. Shawarma size was quite big and good for two. We tried the breakfast items too which came in good size and beautifully presented. Will visit again.
Totally loved the vibe and ambiance of this place. Great spot for weekend breakfast. The food portion was so generous and felt authentic. My favorite is their tea options.
We arrived too late from breakfast but we were not disappointed nonetheless. The place is cute and feels like being outside, lots of natural light. These are the dishes we chose:
Falafels - crispy outside, soft inside like I like them
Mutabal - good but missing some smoky taste
Arabian Tea House Special Salad - do not skip this! It is one of the best salads I’ve ever had, super well seasoned and lots of good veggies
Tahta Laham - omg this dish amazing, very tasty! And we have leftover for tonight because it is a very big quantity for the price
Safran tea - great ending to a wonderful meal
I would also like to point out the perfect service, waiters are very friendly and it’s a pleasure to have them around! They also brought me a heart-shaped bread, so sweet 😍
We’ll be back to try the breakfast soon enough :)
The Arabic and Egyptian breakfast 😋 have always been my favourite, there's so much of variety in the food!! All the side dips are so tasty . The Arabic tea is a must try especiay the chamomile jasmine tea. Nice place will surely take my guests as well 🙂 to get the feel of Arabic cuisine.
This is probably one of everyone’s favourite places in Dubai. The falafel are life changing, the kabob is perfect and the breakfast spreads are so beautiful and delicious. My only issue is that I’ve never visited and had my mains come out at the same time. There is always a delay in someone’s meal and we all have to just sit there and wait and let our food get cold or eat while one or two people sit and wait for their food. Love love love otherwise.
from the best places for breakfast
Definitely one of the finest turkish restaurant and I enjoyed my food, tea and dessert alot just the fact that it has tables I don’t enjoy because its just glass and doesn’t look good in pictures.
We ordered fattoush plate, falafel and luqaimat. Fattoush was really tasty, falafel plate was amazing I just wish they served more dip along with it. Luqaimat were small in size with less syrup, but they tasted real good. Interiors are like in some fairytale. All so white and clean and beautiful. Service is good. Very photogenic place.
I absolutely love and adore this beautiful place and I can never get tired of visiting it!
It is that one place that I always take guests to when they visit UAE (and they love it!)
The food is good, especially the breakfast menu.
The place is just so pretty.
The staff is super sweet.
The ambience and the decor is just so good.
Bottom Line:
Visit them, you won't be disappointed at all!
Right from the warm welcome, to the decor, to the amazing food. This place is just what you need to relax and enjoy the Arabian cuisine. I fell in love with their hummous that's served with bread! The deyay (chicken) briyani and the grilled chicken with bread and a side of salad and chips is delicious as well. I'd recommend this place to anyone for a quick bite when visiting the historical city and the souks.
A beautiful breakfast spot, I highly recommend going in early morning and enjoying the vibes and the various breakfast spreads
Lovely place, lovely service , lovely food, everything is just lovely, must try!
A well presented restaurant that's on every tourist's bucket list visiting Dubai for the location, cultural ambience and Emirati food. This restaurant has a really cool vibe, not to mention queue's out the door although they have an extremely efficient system for allocating tables for hungry guests eager to try their wonderful and varied menu. Right near the souks and other touristic hot spots, this is a restaurant that's well worth a visit for genuine hospitality and great food. Lovely light and airy atmostphere and a memorable dining experience. Don't miss out on dining here, highly recommended!
The moment I enter inside the restaurant, it was like a piece of heaven - so elegant, cozy and nice and well the food is so good and fresh! 🍵 They also have one of the best karak tea in Dubai I will definitely comeback!
Nice place for hygienic and delicious food. A good place for professional and family networking.
Like
Arabian tea house is traditionally Emirati restaurant, amazingly designed and decorated so you can enjoy the experience, usually the place is full of tourists, food is super tasty, we ordered mutton with rice and barbecue with lemon which I highly recommend, for dessert we ordered traditional logaimat and karak tea , highly recommended for inviting someone who would like to live the traditional Emirati food and place.
A popular place that is worth the gram. Authentic Emirati breakfast which my friends and I enjoyed. The sets are good for sharing but won't really last in your stomach because it's not your typical heavy breakfast.
Moreover, it was cozy and close to the Historical Neighborhood which is hitting two birds in one stone (breakfast + pictures)
Good food, good service. Shout out to Jamal for being so accomodating, I think he was a manager there.
Being in the area we decided to check out the Tea House for breakfast & boy did we make a good choice. From the decor to the service it really is worth visiting. We ordered the Arabic & Egyptian breakfast platters & we over ordered. One would have been more than enough for two people. The quality & portions sizes were perfect. We also ordered the karak & arabic teas which were a great accompaniment. Must visit venue
Great breakfast which stops at 1pm so I would suggest to get there early as the place gets packed
The setting indoor and outdoor is quite calm and white and blue is the theme. Loved how peaceful and calm you feel sitting there and having food and drinks. Sitting indoors or outdoors has the same feel.
The staff are friendly and very helpful I might add. Also service is prompt.
The food is great and the portions are adequate enough that you can actually share between two if not as famished as we were.
Drinks are great and they have a variety of tea and coffee to choose from which is great.
Overall a lovely place and definitely recommending anyone and everyone to visit
The manager was so accommodating. We had a very special guest with us and he made sure we had a good table, kept checking on us. The food also! One dish was tastier than the next! Every single waiter was so polite and funny! Will definitely be visiting, even though we live in RAK!
Such a great spot in the unique setting in Bur Dubai. I wanted to try this place for ages, but the best time to visit was with somebody who is visiting for a few days. It's a perfect place to show someone a beautiful Arabic setting and try the yummiest local foods. The sharing breakfast platters are the best way to try different varieties, tastes and dishes. I guess early hours are the best as it can get very busy in the afternoons. Enjoy!
Lovely place, beautiful decor, awesome hospitality and superb food.
When we entered this place the ladies at the entrance made our day with their warmth and hospitality.
The menu is quite extensive and has a lot of good options.
The breakfast was a feast for taste buds and in fact almost everything we ordered was 5/5.
We are definitely going back again.
P.S. We ordered Arabic breakfast, falafel and kibbeh.
If you are a tourist, its. MUST to visit that place.
1- their emarati dished are yummy ( no worries if you don’t understand/know the menu. They will help you out with this”
2- the restaurante has an “arabic design” and it will help you understand more about the arab culture.
3- its full of history, pictures, and culture
4- the location is close to dubai creek
5- the ambience there its just peaceful and at the same time fun, make sure you go with friends.
Years ago I used to LOVE their fish matfi but this year the quality has significantly gone down I was so disappointed. However, everything else is amazing including and especially the ambience. They bring freshly stone oven baked bread with every order and their chai karak, luqeimat, vegetable sambosas, dango, and bagella are all a must. Harees is average but maybe I’m biased as my aunt makes the best homemade ones lol. A great place to introduce someone new to Dubai to a fusion of Arabic and Indian cuisine and includes Emirati food.
Not only is this place tagged to be one of the most instagrammable places in Dubai, but their food is one of the best in Middle Eastern cuisine I've had so far in and around UAE, so is the hospitality. I particularly love their soup menu - the place is cozy and cute and I love to visit them often. Not a place to get tired of.
Took a friend visiting Dubai for lunch here to get an experience of authentic Arabic Cuisine. It was perfect and we loved every bit of it. The pleasing decor, the cheerful seating, the friendly and traditionally dressed staff and the trinkets of Arabic Culture had us engaged until the food arrived. We ordered Fattoush, Mutabel, Hummus, Falafel and Emirati Tikka Laham (Lamb chunks Barbecue). The mutabel and hummus were flavorful and perfect. The falafel is probably one of the best I have tasted in recent times - perfectly seasoned and crisped. My friend declared the Tikka Laham as the best she has had as well in recent times. The Arabic bread served with each dish was freshly baked, warm and fluffy. We topped it all with a pot of Kadak Chai that was so divine and served in quaint red and white teapots and matching glasses. It was a perfect afternoon! We were even invited to witness the making of Arabic Bread in the oven room. The only drawback is car parking which is very difficult to find, we parked a mile away and had to walk in the hot sun.
It’s my first time to try lequiamat here and it was quite good. Best paired with arabic tea. The interiors added a cool experience for an expat like me
They have the best falafel. It is very delicious. I love to come to this place again and again for it.
Their kadak chai is also made to perfection.
I like the flavour of the tea that they use.
One of the best places in dubai the price is very reasonable due to a service and food quality, the atmosphere is amazing, deserves more than a 5 starts rating, defiantly will be visited again😍
The main goals of the Arabian Tea House is to give you a feel for the proper Emirati Life! From the moment you enter, you will be surrounded by pictures and artworks which reflect the life of the local people. The Arabic tunes will provide the perfect background to your mezze and karak tea. If you are looking for a local experience, then look no further.
Amazing food!! Very polite and friendly staff. Value for money. Fresh and served warm always!! Nice ambience. One of the best places for Arabic / Emirati breakfast.
We had good time. Didnt find and seating challenges. Quite Spacious, soothing music. Food was good. Location easy to navigate. Unique interior. Good and fast service. Promt assistance from staff. Must visit you would like the low light ambience for sure.
This is one amazing restaurant that an expat should definitely visit for a true Emarati or an Arabic breakfast. The indoor setup is simply amazing for a wonderful meal experience. In my 4yrs of UAE life this is the first time I had to wait in queue for 30min to get a seat, that need not be a bad thing. It simply means the place is on high demand. We ordered for Arabic breakfast tray & Balaleet with omelette complimented by caffe latte & hot chocolate. My wife and I loved all the items.
Such a good, refreshing restaurant in the middle of the desert. The vibes are modern, green, staff is super nice, the food is so so amazing (vegetarian). Worth going it will not disappoint.
Amazing vibes amazing food friendly staff loved it a LOT i ordered chicken saloona it is chicken with chilly red sauce omes with white rice and salad and arabic bread ... it is Emarati place with very good emarati food ...
Oh Boy !! Such an amazing place and such a great hospitality..
Top marks for ambiance. .
And the best part was food..
We took the suggestions from the staff and it turned out to be such lovely food..
Keep up the good job..
Will be there soon
Ordered for Falafel Wrap. It was fresh And the most delicious I have had till date. One suggestion. It will add to the zing if you serve fresh hot sauce with it. Missed that.
The Arabian Tea House is a great place both in terms of ambience and food. They start lunch only by 1pm so if you would like the lunch options please plan accordingly. We went in at around 12pm and ordered the Falafel, Fava Beans, Cheese and Vegetable Sambosa Labneh, Hummus and Moutabel. The food was really tasty I would skip the Fava beans and the vegetable Sambosa but everything else was on point
So, first we entered the restaurant we were looking for a table in the smoking area which they said it is allowed for the outdoor tables only which they don’t provide service for that part of the restaurant right now!
Then we had to wait so that they’d give us a free table which first they asked us if we wanna share the table with another family but we denied and had to wait for only few minutes to get our own table.
The service is quite fast here and the personnel are quite friendly which I guess is the main reason of having such high ranking.
We ordered machboos which tasted so good with no smell in the lamb and well cooked. I can’t say it’s something special that you can’t find anywhere else. But I’d definitely say that it’s one of the good ones.
Yet, if it wasn’t because of their personnels’ friendliness and their fast service I would perhaps give it a lower rating.
This really is an incredible hidden gem! Tucked away in Al Fahidi – this café is certainly worth a visit! We went there for a spot of lunch after going round the souks and taking the 1 AED abra ride across the creek. Once we reached the café, we did have to queue for a short while but it was certainly worth the wait! For drinks, we each went for the Moroccan iced tea with mint – it was delicious and very refreshing! For the food we ordered a few things to share (as there was too much choice and it all looked and sounded yummy), which were: hummus, falafel, fattoush salad, balaleet, vegetable sambosa and lamb kebab – wow!! It was all soooo tasty! Really good food! The ambience is also super lovely too! I would highly recommend this tea house to everyone!
The decor and ambience is something I would recommend going for.
The food that we had tasted really good. The service is good too. Some of the items were priced too high.

OMG I have been eyeing this place for a while and finally made it here with my best friend. She loves tea cafes and this was a gem for sure. Firstly the ambiance the decor is outstanding. The inside seating arrangement is outstanding. Once seated in this Eden's Garden you feel like you are visiting a different part of the world- well thats how we felt atleast. I thought I was in greece for some reason I guess bc of the whites and blue colors. The food is super authentic and alot of variety we missed breakfast but ended up doing some appetizers, turkish coffee and a flower tea. Servings were huge, and delicious. The falafel is one of the best Ive had and I do not even like falafel. Service was fast and efficient, very friendly staff. The crowd is also nice you get a number of locals and also alot of different tourists. Food is a bit pricey but well worth it specially for the quality and setting. This is a spot to take anyone visiting you from overseas for sure it will be something to remember and enjoy.
Was craving for some Arabian food so tried this outlet. And got mad for the best kadak chai in the world. Wanna say keep making such things and amaze us with ur quality food.
Highly recommend kadak chai
I’ve been here twice, and the experience is always homey and warm. It’s a perfect setting for alfresco dates, especially during winter.
My first time here, I was able to try one of the breakfast tray’s which I got to share with 4 other friends. We also ordered the Jasmine Blooming Tea, which to me, is always fun to watch (so animated!).
On my second visit, I brought my friend from the UK to try their dessert and hot tea. We tried the lequimat, which is like a plain, fried donut. It was surprisingly good and a great complement to our hot Jasmine blooming tea.
The place was packed during lunch time. But we’re glad we got seated after waiting a good 15 minutes.
The staff are warm and friendly, despite the busyness in the restaurant and the influx of customers.
Make sure to bring your friends here, and then do some exploring after at Al Fahidi.
I woke up a bit early Saturday morning and unexpectedly yearn to wander and delve into Al Fahidi Historical Neighbourhood. I went inside and was stunned by its wonderful ambiance with a white and blue concept. Seems like I’ve found a clandestine garden in the middle of the city. The green bushy ceiling, the comfy sofa, the jazzy lights, and the natural lighting will get you dazed. The decor is unflappable something akin to an oasis covered with lattice ceiling in an outdoor courtyard with foliage, encircling my innocuous soul.
Amazing breakfast place. Its a must visit if you like to experience the culture along with the food. Its on the expensive side but it is worth. They have lot of options for vegetarians and non vegetarians.
One of the unusual cafe in town. Had been here with a couple of friends. I loved the environment here. It's friendly and beautiful which makes you sit for hours.

Their karak tea was so tasty and the bread was so fresh and yummy. I wish though they had kind of more healthy options but the overall experience was nice. The decoration is fabulous. Reminded me of old Dubai!
Trying to avoid the possible cruise ship rush at lunch time we went to the Arabian Tea House for brunch but the waitress advised us we could only have breakfast. The food was good value as were the drinks. Good selection of soft cocktail drinks. Suggest visitors are advised by signage that only breakfast is served before 11am before they commit. There is plenty to do in the area with the newly build Al Fahidi sector.
Absolutely loved the ambiance here. The food served here was delicious and very nicely presented too. Definitely looking forward to visit again to taste some more food to tickle my tastebuds.
Great vibe and good food. Good service as well. The location brings about a great vibe. Ordered falafel wrap and hummus. Good taste - 4/5 for food and 5/5 for the overall vibe.
After a 20 minute wait, I finally got a seat at one of the most popular restaurants of Dubai, Arabian Tea House. From the looks of it, the only thing that comes to my mind is outstanding, brilliant, unique and authentic.
The servers were so friendly. Especially the lady outside.
For the food, I went with falafel, cheese sambosa and Alfredo pasta.
• FALAFEL- The falafel bullets were so crispy. Served with the tahiri dip which was great and the vegetables which were kept in vinegar tasted different and unique. They also serve one huge Arabic bread with it.
• CHEESE SAMBOSA - Indian Samosa patti but stuffed with cheese. Crispy, but I feel something like jalapeno must be added to them for a better taste.
• ALFREDO PASTA - This was by far the best Alfredo pasta I've eaten in my life. Perfectly cooked al dente pasta tossed in creamy cheese sauce. Parmesan cheese sprinkled on top was the cherry on the cake.
The presentation of every dish was outstanding as well. Bonus points for the ambience and the dress code of the servers. A must try place for sure!
A very authentic Arabian themed restaurant. The ambience was really nice and the food fresh and tasty. The layout and the hospitality were rustic of the culture of the region.
The tables were a bit small for the kind of food and platter being served and the proximity of the tables makes one feels the place a bit crowded especially if seated in the centre. The side seats and corner seats are better offering a bit more privacy and adds to the whole experience.
There are a lot of seating outside near to the road but couldn't see anyone being seated there.
This place is a must go restaurant.
This was a great find, a worth the short wait for a table. It can get very busy so be prepared to wait. Offers a good selection of traditional Arabic food and drinks... Service was attentive, but staff seemed reluctant when we ordered the traditional afternoon tea, with some persuasion we finally ordered it and were impressed by the selection.
Loved this place, will differently come here, I went there with a friend for breakfast/brunch on a Saturday morning. Even though the place quiet busy the staff were very attending and kind, the food was exceptional. We ordered Emirati breakfast which came with tasty karak chai, shakshuka and orange juice. We were there end of March so weather was a plus.
We ordered the Arabian Breakfast Tray, 2 people can share , and a pot of tea , good enough for 4 peopleLoved the food , amazing service. Such a beautiful hidden gem . Definitely visiting again
The Arabian tea house has been in town since the 70 s. The decor sticks to the original, giving us a feel of a lazy Arabian night restaurant. In shades of blue and white the space is warm and welcoming. We ordered the special Arabian breakfast with Arabian tea . It was accompanied with tandoori roti and pancakes . The food was light and an interesting mix . A special mention to the Arabian tea which tasted heavenly.
If your in town do visit the hidden gem which takes you away on a magical Arabic day / night .
Only let down was washroom ..very poorly maintained
Food 4/5
Service 4/5
Ambience 4.5/5
Pricing 3.5/5
Highly recommended !
Food: good
Ambience: very pleasant
Value for money: good
Set in the midst of bur dubai, a nice place to have a true emirati heritage feeling. Right from the theme to the decoration to the menu choice, the place offers an exotic cocktail of the Mediterranean cuisine. Surprising, the food portion wasn't even bad.
Misses: parking space
Best place to visit in winters and to experience authentic local cuisines of middle eat. To my surprise there are lot of options for Vegetarian. Must try their Blooming Tea.
Arabian Tea House is a place with a grand old tree, white wicker chairs, turquoise benches and billowing flowers create a sun-dappled refuge in the courtyard of an old pearl merchant's house. The menu includes lots of Emirati specialities, including raqaq (traditional bread), chicken machboos (spicy casserole with rice) and saloona chicken (in a tomato-based stew). #Dubai
Found this place as I was walking around Al Bastakiya. Was so excited about the set up and ambience which I give a 5/5. The food is mainly Arab cuisine and the felafel was one of my favorites! The service was quick. The food is delicious. I also recommend trying the different tea they serve in pots.
Aaaahhhmaziinggg is the word for this lovely place!
Both times i went it was in the winter months so we got to sit and enjoy each bit of the decor and the yummy Emirati cuisine!
We ordered the platters both times; Arabian Tea House Special, Arabian Breakfast and Mr Ali's Special are my favourite and highly recommended! There were pancakes too for the smaller foodies!
You can walk around the Al Fahidi cultural neighnourhood if you enjoy art cafes and are interested in getting to know how Dubai/ UAE actually was many years ago!
This place is like a tiny getaway! It gives out a beachy / Greek kinda vibe. Interiors are beautifully done. The food is reasonably priced and the staff are polite and kind. But the place is always crowded, you got to wait for at least 20-30min to find a table.
Visited this restaurant to celebrate one special occasion and i loved the place and its decor. I was planning to go to this restaurant as it was recommended by many of my friends and finally went there and did not get disappoint. We ordered Chicken Shawarma, Cheese samosa, hammus, fattoush salad, fruits juice etc.. The portion was good enough for two people and we loved the food. the best thing about this place is the ambiance, decor and the way they set it up like the old era, its really amazing. The staffs were friendly, service was quick. it was a nice experience and i would recommend this place for a nice food and ambiance.
great place and atmosphere. yummy food! highly recommend. only wondering if its possible to book table for dinner on weekday? otherwise great for families and close to exploring old Dubai!
I love the Arabian Tea House, but only the branch in the Bastakiya quarter. The decor and ambience is simply delightful - and it always impresses guests. My family adored this cute eatery.
We always order the same thing:
REGAG WITH CHEESE (ask them to be more generous with the cheese filling - and hold the honey).
CHAI KARAK
SPECIAL BREAKFAST TRAY (comes with foul, falafels, hummus, saloona, grilled halloumi...love their saloona!)
ARABIAN SPECIAL BREAKFAST TRAY (comes with scrambled eggs, zaatar, olive spread, etc).
QAHWA
The rahash cubes are incredible. My mom loved the chebab (saffron pancakes).
Yum! Definitely recommend the Arabian Tea House.
Happy eating 🌷

I guess this is what is called "Out of the blue". Friendly staff good authentic food and beverage. A very local feel to the place is its charm.
My husband & I decided to try Arabian Tea House for the first time ever after a stroll through Bur Dubai’s beautiful Al-Fahidi District. We absolutely loved our experience and here’s why -
1. Ambiance - beautiful & fresh, just what you’d expect from an Arabian-themed place in an outdoor setting. Soothing tones of white & sky blue, complimented by lots of greenery. It’s quite cozy and everyone’s in it for an amazing Friday morning breakfast.
2. Breakfast menu - lots of variety of Arabian options, such as the Emirati or Egyptian breakfast spreads. We went for the Emirati one and it was so GOOD. The Balaleet were amazing and so was their fresh black honey and orange jam. Karak tea, also great. We topped our breakfast with a side of falafels and they’re one of the best that I had in Dubai so far (big falafel lover over here!)
3. Bread - freshly baked, hot Arabian bread. They refill it as you wish!
Coming back to try out more dishes? Absolutely.
