Superb food with superb service all topped with fantastic scenery. Definitely on the list for the next visit.

Wanna go back...the view is sensational. ..
I wish I found this Italian gem sooner. Impeccable service, surprisingly large portions, beautiful setting with a great view. Definitely recommend.
Amazing pasta , never had pasta like that in a long time. Worth the price and the staff was also very professional in their behaviour.
A perfect place if you are looking for a silent cozy ambience and sometime off from the super busy fast life right in the heart of Dubai. This place is worth going with authentic Italian cuisine to satisfy your palette.
Morris is a very helping and kind host, he hosted us and we were glad to be served by him. Everything is perfectly portionised and prepared with also maintaining the quality.
I tried lasagne which was just amazing, seafood tempura, very yummy maybe they can increase shrimps over squid.
Drinks were just awesome.
We were also complimented with a birthday desert.
Thank you Alta Badia and especially Morris.

Bruschetta with fresh Burrata, tomatoes, egg plants was an instant hit to seduce the palate for more authentic food to come. Thin Crust Veggie Pizza customised on request by the very polite PHYO who looked after us. Asparagus Risotto was also a hit dish. Overall amazing ambience and great hospitality by PHYO, SRIJIT and team.

It is a peaceful place with delicious food and also the ambience is great I enjoyed a lot here with my family it was a great family time with tasty food and quality
Been there for my birthday dinner! The portions are small but they are tasty! Great presentation of food and excellent service of their staff! Great view whilst dining! Worth the money spent :)
We went back to Emirates Towers to celebrate our 15th wedding anniversary as that’s where we spent a lot of time when we decided to get married 😊 The staff at Alta Badia took such good care of us when we told them the occasion! Great food, customized for the kids as they liked. Impeccable service and a view to beat it all! Thank you team Alta Badia
Alta badia is a very sophisticated italian restaurant.. we tried their brunch which was amazingggg...the hand made pasta was excellent ...meat very tender and cooked to perfection...but the star was the desert..recommended
Had a very nice dinner, the view was amazing, the service was great, we even saw a firework when we were eating. I had a nice meat, well cooked, tasty. + they served us a small appetizer
I usually love dining in the sky and glad to have finally visited Alta Badia located at the iconic Emirates Towers. An Italian restaurant located on the 50th floor, the 180-degree view was fantastic. The interiors are simple and modern with plenty of sunlight. Full review on the link below!
I was invited to Alta Badia to try out their brunch. Sadly, the day I went, the actual buffet was closed as they had a set menu brunch that Friday. However, the Head Chef, Chef Mansoor was kind enough to stir up some of his special dishes which weren't on the Christmas brunch menu.
We started off with cold platter that had selection of cold cut, zucchini and taliggio cheese bruschetta and breaded Mozzarella. I particularly enjoyed the mozzarella and the bruschetta.
For the mains, the Chef made me my favorite Risotto wild mushroom and asparagus. It was well cooked. We also ordered their Chestnut Tagliatelle with wild mushroom and Truffle Sauce. This was good as well. For Desserts, the Chef made us try the special Christmas Italian desserts - Pandoro Al mascarpone and Semifreddo Al Croccantino which was caramalized nuts parfait with Chocolate sauce.
On the whole, the restaurant which is located on the 50th floor, has a good ambience with good food. The service was a bit slow, but I can't totally blame the restaurant for it. Maybe they weren't well informed about my booking. I just wish that I could try out the real brunch menu.
Absolutely stunning place on the 50th floor. Tried the Easter special White Asparagus menu starter was delicious. Then the Pomodoro Soup served in classical Tuscan style, followed by Entree Homemade risotto which was equally amazing. Service was polite Navlakha was our server always smiling and went the extra mile. Try it and you will love it
I really liked Alta badia, I think its a nice bar, very chilled and staff are very friendly and attentive. Would definitely go back now I've found the little gem.
The view from here is amazing and a perfect place for dinner dates. Try the sea food risotto and the variety of wines available. The food is good and the staff is very courteous. The price is a little high but definitely worth it
Celebrated Sis' 32nd birthday in here! Overlooking the beautiful view on the 50th floor was amazing with bar just upstairs. Foods were on small servings (as it should be on a fine dining brunch course😀) paid 189dhs each for a 1-4pm din din. I just love the deserts. Meal Foods (speaking in my...
Decided to give Alta Badia a try as it had been highly recommended to us.
I'm a sucker for views and this is amazing, to be honest I'd go there again even if the food had been terrible!
However the food was delicious. They do a set 3 course dinner menu which we opted for as it was very reasonably priced! There were even little treats throughout including a tasty amuse Bouche! The desserts were especially enjoyable having the apple cake and tiramisu.
The service was excellent with us being checked on frequently and knowledgeable advice given. Having staff that know there food and wine is invaluable for me and top marks for this. Also they there was no overfilling of water, which is a pet peeve for us! To top it off on leaving we were given a corn bread muffin, bit random but nice touch.
Try the bar upstairs too as it has excellent happy hour deals and the view!
We visited Alta Badia and have also dined here before. My fiancèe had the beef carpaccio which was nice and I had the Burrata for starters which was fresh. For main course my fiancée had oxtail raivoli and I had the sea bass. Both of which were cooked to perfection. I would recommend this place for the great view and for the lovely dining experince. Well done to Laura and her great team.
I have been here twice and I honestly didn't like the food the service and the view is outstanding but unfortunately they failed with the menu 😐.. A little change can go a long way 👍
Dubai Food Festival is soon approaching us and there are many award winning restaurants which have taken part and one of them is Alta Badia as well. This restaurant has earlier won many awards for it super good Italian cuisine and here I was judging it’s new 3 course menu soon to preview during the event. It’s not just the food which will impress you but also the phenomenal view of Dubai.
I could not find anything wrong in this place. The view is breathtaking, and for that only they can easily get 5 stars.
We went for a valentines double date dinner. We ordered slow cooked lamb and a beef tenderloin. Both were perfectly cooked. The service was perfect with smiles all over the place.
Highly recommended for a romance dinner, or to have a loved one see Dubai from a different point.
Found Alta Badia completely by chance and I am very glad we did. The view is absolutely stunning and the minimalist decor allows for the view to take pride of place. Better than both those things is the food. The Truffle menu (special for December) is really good, the dishes are tasty but slightly heavy. The Ravioli and Cod were very good - loved the olive crusting on the Cod and the sage stuffing in the Ravioli. While the food was flavourful, it was lacking in a vibrant flavour and seemed more cream and butter based which was disappointing. Would recommend it for a good meal though!
There’s nothing like eating a delicious meal with a magnificent view. Alta Badia is at the 50th floor with a great view. The starters and mains were so delicious specially the veal shank was perfectly cooked and nicely presented. Ricotta and spinach ravioli was the best I ever had. The desserts were not so special, the Tiramisu was quite average.
Service wise I would say below Jumeirah restaurants standards. Slow service and lots of staff had nothing to do as last night was not so busy. We had to wait for long time between starters and mains. The bread basket did not feel fresh nothing special in the basket. They forgot to put the olive oil and balsamic in our table, staff kept passing by without noticing until I had to ask for it.
The worst part they ignored my special request for birthday cake, too bad I couldn't surprise my wife.
Had a great day with my colleagues at this place ,The view is just breathtakingly beautiful with the entire dubai skyline at the backdrop nice ambience and the dishes were clearly explained to each one of us by the waiters as well The serving crew were in quiet a bit of hurry but overall its a nice place to try out some signature Italian Dishes and sweets
Great views on the city, I love this place more in the morning than at night. I did prefer it when it was Vu's but the Italian works fine. The brunch was great but not sure if they still do it.
If we put the confusion in our orders on the side Great dinner @altabadiadubai @jumeirahet ,amazing views from the 50th floor , the lamb meat and veal meat was perfectly cooked and so tender. The tiramisu was super fluffy and light#
They got have gotten a 4 if they didn't mix up our order many times, but it's good food was good to forget about this hiccup.
I dined at this restaurant few nights back with my husband. The place is a must visit for its views. The staff was also very warm and courteous. To start with, we ordered Zuppa di Piselli. Its a soup made of green peas and ricotta cheese. I didn't like the soup much but the sun-dried tomatoes tortellini that was added to it was really good. The complimentary bread basket was also very fresh and good. For the main course we ordered veg risotto and veg ravioli. Ravioli was good but the risotto was not that great. For drinks my husband ordered Aperol Spritz which was again not very great.
Visit this place for its views and great staff.
Good place, nice view and delicious food. Each plate is a piece of art ... And very tasty ... No need to book in advance ... Don't forget to check Alta Badia Bar at 51st floor
Our go to place! You can find a table easily. They frequently Change their menu and their food is always good. I recommend to always go for the tasting menu! Always a good experience and do NOT miss their tiramisu ❤️
Few places in dubai offer a spectacular view with a very affordable business lunch experience.
There , I have told you what makes this place a absolute delight. The view from the 50th floor , assuming you chose a clear afternoon , is in itself a reason for must visit.
The chef's game plan is to keep it simple so if you are seeking this special from Tuscany and that speciality from Napoli etc. - forget it. The limited menu means the kitchen is not only correctly stocked with the correct ingredients , that never get a chance to age as the limited menu means everything moves and fast. It also means the kitchen staff have , with repetition, managed to ensure each dish from the limited menu is cooked just right and the dining room staff are fully aware and knowledgeable about the ingredients and the process that gets the food to you just like you picture from the brief provided.
The food is "euro-continental" and nothing , in your face , specifically "Italian" and in case you are there for the very competitively priced business lunch (2 courses 85 and 3 courses at 125 inclusive of water and tea/coffee) all the 3 options each on the starters and the main course and deserts are good. The ingredients are not hi-end but use the vegetable market to be sourced rather than the neighborhood grocery store.
The bruschetta and the insalata di gamberi had the freshest looking tomatoes and salad leaves and delivered with the toast still hot and the gamberi (prawns) still warm, respectively. Who could resist. So don't gorge on the table bread basket where the cheese stick with the pumpkin/cheese dip is finger licking spicy deelicious , while you wait for the food to be delivered. The main course , primarily (2 of 3) vegetarian but sans pasta I enjoy. Spinach ravioli I did not order but the sea bream with the crisp skin baked just right and served piping hot left little room to go for the 3 course option. However , had to try the espresso with chocolate ice cream that was just the right sweet to sign off a lunch that got served and paid for in 60 minutes.
It takes a while to get to the place but worth the effort.
We came here for a quick meal, love the view from the dining room. The service is impeccable. A nice Italian option for Dubai. The head chef is very innovative.
It was a worth experience at ALTA BADIA. Lovely ambiance, warm welcoming staffs, menu with good choice of option. However if you have any specific requirement(As i am a vegetarian) they bring it on the plate with an awesome twist. A must visit for a special occasion like anniversary...
GREAT, GREAT, GREAT! This is without any doubt the best italian restaurant in Dubai. The food is WOW, so tasty, yet delicate. The choices on the menu are just right, not to many, but all different, no repetition of ingredients in the dishes, very well done! The service is perfect, most of the staff is italian, which truly makes a difference, they know what they are talking about! I recommend this Restaurant to anyone who wants to try REAL contemporary italian cuisine!
Just couple of week after opening me and my friend we went to eat at Alta Badia (ex VU`s).
So the lift take you at the 51st floor and there 3 hostess greeting us , I think they should greeting you with at list a classic Buon giorno or Buona sera , just for make you feel more in Italy.
Btw we were taken to our table, fantastic view of the city, semi fine dining surround with clean and neat table set up.
We were approach by an Italian lady who give us the wine list and food menu but without any explanation. We let the Manager to choose the vine for us meantime a waiter was serving water.
Few minute late a warm tomato consommé was served as an amuse bouche with a fantastic bread basket, olive oil serve by the waiter , we were 4 Italians and we love oil , unfortunately we had to call the waiter couple of time to refill our olive oil plate, and the end we asked to leave the bottle on the table…….
We order 4 different starter, all of them very well presented, I personally had the lobster that unfortunately was a bit overcooked, the beef tartare texture (cut by hand) was smooth by lack in condiment and I think a selection of salt on the side will give and extra kick to the dish.
The flow of the food was exactly how should be so after the appetizer came all our pasta dishes again nicely presented (actually the picture on the web site do not reassemble what you actually receive at he restaurant)my friend had the Creste di coda di bue , which are the pasta filled with oxtail , good dish, thin pasta and cooked perfectly .
I was the only one who order the main course and I had the fantastic slow cooked lamb shoulder, nice, rich, tender, nothing to say about it.
After a small break we had a selection of dessert which I need to be honest I do not recall.
Overall the experience was good, I think the restaurant have great potential considering the fact that chef Claudio go through the table and seeking for feedback and greeting guest and this is definitely a plus and forgot to mention that we were taking care by Kafka , so practically you are surrounded by Italian and this gives you a great feeling about Italian service and cuisine.
What' an evening, Alta Badia?
Let me start saying that I am Italian and i was a bit concerned when i heard the name but i must admit that this is the first time in Dubai that I felt in a real and true Italian restaurant.
We were greeted by a warm Italian welcome from the manager (i think) and the Italian waiter Lorenzo guide us trough the menu and suggested this amazing italian product, Tartufo d'alba!
The wine list is simple with a vast selection of italian wines by the glass and some real classic by the bottle with a great pricing. We drunk a Tuscan classic, "Peppoli".
We met Chef Claudio and we were blowed away, very opened and friendly.
Been an Italian i am very happy that we discovered this little jewel hiding at the top of the iconic Emirates Towers.
Ci vediamo presto!
I had the opportunity to dine in this new restaurant few nights ago invited by a close friend. We were seated in one of those comfortable round tables. The service had good knowledge of the menu and made great recommendations. Food was superb and genuine. Great value for money from the a la carte to the wine list. I think the manager "no name tag" showed us the weekly business lunch that offer a huge selection with an incredible price point of 125Aed for 2 courses and 145Aed for 3. I could only comment/suggest to increase the selection in the dinner menu especially after seeing the huge variety that you offer for lunch.
Great Italian addition to the city. We’ll be back soon.
Alta Badia is a very good restaurant. They give you Good service, Good food, Nice view, and amazing dining experience.
Nice but limited dishes ... WONDERFUL view! Don't forget to ask for window seat.
