The steak is so good and fresh! I like to order the rib eye, because is not so expensive and really tasty.

We had a serving of regular chicken espotada with a side of mashed potatoes. They are/were the BEST mashed potatoes i have ever had!! I would recommend 100/100. Espotada's are their specialty but I wasn't too impressed.
They had a promotion running on the Wagyu steak, for 139dh / 200gm the price point was fine. Otherwise on the rack rate it didn’t seem value for money.
The meat was cooked properly, medium well and rump style just how we like it.
Those who crave for steak around Al Barsha and steak lovers, you cannot miss this place. Of course the original franchiser in South Africa is undoubtedly good but here in Dubai, their branches are also similarly very nice. Wagyu beef steak and brisket are just amazing.

Had a dine-in experience at Butcher’s Grill, Mall of the Emirates. As they say, it’s a celebration of South African Heritage.
Location: They made the place relaxing. Has some good fresh plants around to refresh the eyes and mind. It’s a little noisy cos, we’re inside a mall.
Service: Crew was great. The waiter was very courteous and diligent.
Food: South African Rib Eye Steak (Medium Done), Lamb Chops in BBQ sauce, Onion Rings, Salad, Sangria.
Experience: The appetizer bread and Beef in Tomato Sauce was amazing. I don’t know what it’s called but man, it was legit.
The Steak was lit. I sliced my steak, got an good amount on my fork and right of the bat, you have this good crust on the steak. Very juicy and tender, and has a strong flavour. Pepper isn’t overpowering.
Lamb chops were alright. I can’t say that it’s the best Lamb-chops I had. I think it would be better served without the BBQ sauce.
Sides were awesome!
Situated near ski Dubai in MOE, this is a really good place for steaks. The portions are hearty and the cuts of meat are good. Elaborate menu of options to choose from including starters, salads, a kids menu and plenty of steaks. I particularly enjoy the filet.

This restaurants always exceed my expectations. I love to eat in this restaurant because of the food they serve,always happy at tentative staff, and a decent, plentiful plate of food.
We enjoyed our dinner here and celebrated my friends birthday. We got Seafood platter and Mussels. The staffs are accommodating and friendly. They also assist us with our little surprise. The only downside for me is the food takes too long to be served. But still a good place and a delicious meal.
The food was very good overall. I liked the meat. The only thing I was a bit disappointed it was my steak, half of it was cooked as asked medium well and another half was very well done, however I still finished almost all. Chicken escalope was great. The portions are really good, steaks served with 2 sides and chicken was with 1 side. Our server was good, nice and helpful. Worth trying definitely.

Was craving steak but didn't want to go out. So I searched for steak in Zomato and this is the first restaurant that popped out. To say I am happy with my order is an understatement. Truly, this has become an instant favorite for me! Will order again for sure. Keep it up!

The Butcher Shop & Grill is my absolute favourite steak place in the UAE.
My standard order is the South African fillet steak. The onions rings served with the steak is just 👌👌👌.
It can be found on the Entertainer too which is a great save.
Service is always excellent too.
Between the Mall of the Emirates one and the Mirdiff one , I do prefer to Mirdiff Mall's location better.
We came here today with very high expectations as we’ve seen people line up to eat here from time to time. I must say, our expectations were met and we’re glad we’ve finally tried to dine!
I went to mall of the emirates branch on friday, the steaks were succulent and impeccable service,lovely ambient, the staff were very friendly.
It was an amazibg experience at the butcher shop & grill mall of emirates.
Definitely wil be back soon to have more of their steak selections.

First timer. I tried the Wagyu Tenderloin with black pepper sauce. It was one of the best experience. The taste was perfect to my liking. The meat was tender and very tasty. Combine with black pepper sauce, you get an impeccable combination.

I have been there many times and never get disappointed. The service, environment is excellent. Staff is super polite and always fulfill customers needs. I always have family visiting from UK and this is the first place I take them to.
The variety at butcher grill is amazing. Being a South African, the experience takes me back home and doesn’t allow me to be homesick. I absolutely love the steak duo with prawns. Def a must try on my list

I really will go as far and say this is the best steak in Dubai, the only place that I feel was better would of been CUT at the address hotel.
Went there yesterday for lunch, they had multiple promotions, had a fillet steak with BBQ coating and salt and pepper crust, baked potato and veg. Couldn’t fault it.

Always pleasant to visit one of the best steakhouses in town. The portions are good but a little over priced to be dine regularly. My recommendation for steak is medium well.

This place has always been my favorite. Their portions are adequate and the taste is really good. Sometime the service is little slow for my taste, but it isn't bad. Whenever I'm in mood for having some steaks, this is my go-to place.
The best steaks and grills in town! Definitely a go to place for good sumptuous meat. Don’t miss out on their tomahawk and lamb legs. Their soups and breads for appetizer will really set your mood, but dont indulge too much, you might not have enough room to finish their generous serving of main dishes.

I rarely give a 5/5 but we keep visiting this restaurant just for the chicken espetada and yesterday boy it did not disappoint. we ordered the spicy version and the meat was just so succulent along with the garlic paste and roast potatoes. it was a wonderful combination. Balbir took very good care of us and we WILL BE BACK !!!!!!!!!!!
Been here a few times now. Very decent steaks. Enjoyed the Tomahawk especially. Value for money if you’re using an entertainer voucher. Would recommend for a decent steak.

It may be a mall-based venture, but we get the feeling this South African venue knows its steak.
I would say it is definitely in my top favorite places in Dubai.
Their steaks are great. The Wagyu Fillet steak is a gem of a steak. The prawn in cream starter is delicious. Garlic Potatoes are a must have (though a bit oily). Truffle and mushroom sauce is great paired with your steak. The espetadas are quite nice as well.
Overall service is great.

Just had the best mussels and chicken schnitzel. Both dishes were very tasty, specifically the mussels sauce. The best part is that the portion is huge but on the menu it is the small portion.

When I think Ribs or T-Bone its Butcher Shop. I have eaten in expensive cheap in other countries and i have not yet had ribs like the ones they serve. Great atmosphere and experience.
One of the best steaks for a reasonable price. Love the quality and the service. The steaks and the sauce are made to perfection! Too bad they don’t have the crab cakes anymore on the menu.
If you’re a fan of ribs falling of the bone tenderness, i highly recommend this full rack of ribs at the butcher shop and grill, the serving is good for 2-3 persons. I also love the seasoning of the baked potato, the skin was very tasty. We also ordered steak, my sister likes it well done, not a fan of this doneness, but the mushroon sauce was really good. The corn was also perfect side with its seasoning and spice. The coleslaw was just ok. I also like the bread and tomato dip they serve while waiting. It makes a really good dinning experience. Not to mention, the amazing friendly customer service from the staff!

Popped in for some delish meat dinner and some savings with the Entertainer!
Upon being seated, we were offered some bread, sausage with gravy and a spread for the bread. This was a mini starter in itself and was much appreciated.
Dishes ordered
1. Beef ribs half: an all time favorite dish at this restaurant, the beef is deliciously tender, full of flavor, soft enough to just pick it out of the bone effortlessly and the sweet sauce marination is perfect. The sauce and tenderness makes this dish a must every time we visit. The dish comes with coleslaw and a choice of one side. Priced at AED 96, well worth the money and perfect for one person.
2. Ladies fillet Tenderloin steak: 180g of meat cooked just as requested. Was tender and tasty. Requested some sweet sauce to go with it which just added to the flavor more! Priced at AED 109 with a choice of two sides - worth it if using a discount voucher of some sort.
Our server for the evening, Mr. Ram was helpful, professional and super friendly. Service was good and quick. They went the extra mile by indulging in our request for a change of side for steak midway through our meal - complimentary.
Will definitely return for the beef ribs!

Workers: Polite. They seemed a bit confused when we reach. However, after that; one polite gentleman introduced himself to me, and he was looking after us the whole time.
Food taste & Look: The food looks fantastic and tastes good. I have chosen my dish after looking at other tables not from the menu ;).
Portion: large and enough for an average man.
Price: Very much overpriced.

I’ve been there a few times quality of food has so far been consistent...
Staff: the restaurant is always quite busy so the staff may not be the most attentive bunch you may have to remind them on something you’ve already asked once for.
Been here multiple times... and one thing I can vouch for is that these guys are consistent in quality and quantity. Don’t be fooled by the picture of the location... this place gets really busy really fast... I’m not a big fan of crowded loud areas, hence the 4 starts.

These were amazing.... made to perfection... at least according to my taste. It was juicy and succulent. And the flavour was just right. And like I said, quantity is not an problem

We ordered the beef medium well done, it was as we ordered, once before they got the order mixed and gave us well done beef, which can be a bit hard to chew. The chicken was nice and juicy.
All in all it was well enjoyed meal with my family 😊

Steak at the Butcher Shop is ALWAYS good! I ask for it to be done medium well and it turns out perfect; the meat is cooked well and it’s still nice and soft.
I heard about this restaurant from my friends and I decide to try it after finsh our tour in the mall I went to the restaurant with my friend and was a great choice to dine there the menu have a lots of choices but we didn't have any diffecult to choice any dish as the manager kassem was there and recommended us to go to great healthy salad and tasty cube beef with chicken cube serve on the stand well nice presented the food was so Delicious and the service was amazing provide from Sheilla she was so attentive and helpful , I recommended this restaurant worth to try it.

Very tasty and juicy meat 😍. We order rib-eye and Ladies Fillet, real taste of meat and perfectly cooked steaks with amazing sides. Serving was good in time i would say more quick than expected. Very friendly and helping staff to guide you with menue.
If we want to have considerable amount of well cooked protein while shopping, definitely this place would be one of options..staff are friendly and always have combo offers in menu..the meat is well marinated and juicy and price is so fair...definitely recommended..
We visited this Restaurant on 3rd May 2018. Excellent place to enjoy meat. staff is very friendly and made excellent suggestions. prime Ribs are surely best in town . Lamb Espitada and Chicken Espitada and Prime Ribs were excellent and will recommend . Portions are big and can be shared .
Butcher shop is good place, average price, friendly staff Mall of the Emirates quality and consistency is better than JBR, tenderloin was soft and sides are acceptable.
It’s worth your money. Friendly staff and I personally love their steak. It’s perfect for family or couple. Not to mention the fast service as well. Defo coming back!
I’m a regular customer there, as they have the same level of service and food quality. I’m also a night fan of their South African steaks, and also that fantastic complimentary sausage entree. At peak times (mainly weekend) the food may take a little bit longer to get served.
This has been one of my favorite restaurant, been years and years service remain the excellent, portion is awesome (good for sharing too 😜) staff are so friendly. Their steak is 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻! Service, worth the price 😉

Ambience: More dull than the other branches. Louder and usually more packed.
Price: You truly get what you pay for!

Menu: Easy to understand - overall average.
The food: The quality of the food is higher than expected, especially considering the price point. The prawns in cream soup is lovely. As it the carpaccio/ selection of steaks and the schnitzel with creamed spinach.
