They had a promotion running on the Wagyu steak, for 139dh / 200gm the price point was fine. Otherwise on the rack rate it didn’t seem value for money. The meat was cooked properly, medium well and rump style just how we like it.

Those who crave for steak around Al Barsha and steak lovers, you cannot miss this place. Of course the original franchiser in South Africa is undoubtedly good but here in Dubai, their branches are also similarly very nice. Wagyu beef steak and brisket are just amazing.

Had a dine-in experience at Butcher’s Grill, Mall of the Emirates. As they say, it’s a celebration of South African Heritage. Location: They made the place relaxing. Has some good fresh plants around to refresh the eyes and mind. It’s a little noisy cos, we’re inside a mall. Service: Crew was great. The waiter was very courteous and diligent. Food: South African Rib Eye Steak (Medium Done), Lamb Chops in BBQ sauce, Onion Rings, Salad, Sangria. Experience: The appetizer bread and Beef in Tomato Sauce was amazing. I don’t know what it’s called but man, it was legit. The Steak was lit. I sliced my steak, got an good amount on my fork and right of the bat, you have this good crust on the steak. Very juicy and tender, and has a strong flavour. Pepper isn’t overpowering. Lamb chops were alright. I can’t say that it’s the best Lamb-chops I had. I think it would be better served without the BBQ sauce. Sides were awesome!

Situated near ski Dubai in MOE, this is a really good place for steaks. The portions are hearty and the cuts of meat are good. Elaborate menu of options to choose from including starters, salads, a kids menu and plenty of steaks. I particularly enjoy the filet.

The food was very good overall. I liked the meat. The only thing I was a bit disappointed it was my steak, half of it was cooked as asked medium well and another half was very well done, however I still finished almost all. Chicken escalope was great. The portions are really good, steaks served with 2 sides and chicken was with 1 side. Our server was good, nice and helpful. Worth trying definitely.

Dont know what the hype about this place is. Just regular food at expensive prices with a big brand name. I had the truffle butcher burger which was just bland worth 100aed. the beef ribs was also just bland but good quantity and really soft meat. trinchado was a tangy and different dish that some will like and others hate(very tangy and zingy).

Food quality is below average. The steak was plain dry and very chewy. The side dishes were not tasty either. For the same price you get a considerably better meat quality and setting at Tribes at MOE. Ambience is not nice either. Definitely not recommended.

The Butcher Shop & Grill is my absolute favourite steak place in the UAE. My standard order is the South African fillet steak. The onions rings served with the steak is just 👌👌👌. It can be found on the Entertainer too which is a great save. Service is always excellent too. Between the Mall of the Emirates one and the Mirdiff one , I do prefer to Mirdiff Mall's location better.

First timer. I tried the Wagyu Tenderloin with black pepper sauce. It was one of the best experience. The taste was perfect to my liking. The meat was tender and very tasty. Combine with black pepper sauce, you get an impeccable combination. Will visit again for sure.

Was in this place with my friend, ordered 2 steakes 280 gr medium cooked, they was very nice. Next time I came with my boyfriend, we ordered 2 steakes medium cooked, we got 2 r piece of raw meat with blood. When I asked waitreas if its medium cooked, she say it should be like this. I asked again, with blood? She took the meet and chef cooked it more, but ofcourse the taste was not good allready. My bf told me that we will never go there againe.

Had a lunch here since they are offering Wagyu Steak. I now understand why it is on promo - it tasted nothing special. The mash potato was bland. The saving grace was the 99aed ribs which tasted good. Customer service was 1/5 - it’s like we are not existing and we have to call their attention many times. Hope they will improve and make their customers feel important I won’t recommend this resto and won’t eat again here.

We ordered Tenderloin Australian stake 200g each which came with 2 sides and a dip. On the side, we got a pop drink to go with. It cost us AED 440 and not worth the taste. We always order well done which makes the stake juicy, but sadly this was too dry. It was a busy day, hence, the service wasn't great too. Most likely, won't visit again. Perhaps we weren't guided well by the server as they were too occupied.

What a little gem this is. I really will go as far and say this is the best steak in Dubai, the only place that I feel was better would of been CUT at the address hotel. Went there yesterday for lunch, they had multiple promotions, had a fillet steak with BBQ coating and salt and pepper crust, baked potato and veg. Couldn’t fault it. Service was great as well. Try it !

Honestly not much to say. I assume my review isn't biased since I was treated here by a friend, so I didn't really have to pay. Service was fine, the waiter did what was expected of him, wasn't rude or dismissive and spent his time answering questions about the menu so 5/5 there. Ambiance was alright nothing special, nothing bad either, Can't really expect much more from a restaurant in the main floor of a mall so it gets a 3.5/5. In terms of food I must admit that this was one of the few places that actually got my order right, most places in UAE if I order a medium rare steak will either serve is damn near raw or overcooked. And yes I did eat the entire 1kg tomahawk by myself. The steak was fine, it was seasoned well, had a fine crust even thought I think could have been better considering this was a large piece of meat. The sides of onion rings and mushrooms were a little bit disappointing. I would expect a rather slightly on the expensive side restaurant like this one to get the basics right, I mean the onion rings were greasy and not crispy and the mushrooms had no sear and were floating in their own juices. Seriously fast food places get their onion rings to be less greasy. So if anything it's the food that was kind of a let down, it wasn't bad but it wasn't as refined as it should have been either. I felt like the restaurant banked on the good ingredients but the techniques being used by the chef are lackluster which is a shame. 3/5.

I used to swear my the quality of the steaks at Butcher Shop & Grill but my last meal was very poor. The steak was over cooked, I asked for medium and there was not a hint of pink. They replaced the steak but it was returned extremely rare. I used to love how their steak melts in your mouth, and was tasty throughout the entire cut, but this steak was fatty and chewy. Not a pleasant meal.

It may be a mall-based venture, but we get the feeling this South African venue knows its steak. I would say it is definitely in my top favorite places in Dubai. Their steaks are great. The Wagyu Fillet steak is a gem of a steak. The prawn in cream starter is delicious. Garlic Potatoes are a must have (though a bit oily). Truffle and mushroom sauce is great paired with your steak. The espetadas are quite nice as well. Overall service is great. The restaurant has a nice ambiance

Wanted to try their steaks for a while. But it was disappointing. The steak was a sorry looking small piece of meat (with no real seasoning) for a whopping 198 dhs. No value for money and total lack of taste as well. Even the double espetada was 189 dhs which was very overpriced for what it was. Overall, not something to come back to.

If you’re a fan of ribs falling of the bone tenderness, i highly recommend this full rack of ribs at the butcher shop and grill, the serving is good for 2-3 persons. I also love the seasoning of the baked potato, the skin was very tasty. We also ordered steak, my sister likes it well done, not a fan of this doneness, but the mushroon sauce was really good. The corn was also perfect side with its seasoning and spice. The coleslaw was just ok. I also like the bread and tomato dip they serve while waiting. It makes a really good dinning experience. Popped in for some delish meat dinner and some savings with the Entertainer! Upon being seated, we were offered some bread, sausage with gravy and a spread for the bread. This was a mini starter in itself and was much appreciated. Dishes ordered 1. Beef ribs half: an all time favorite dish at this restaurant, the beef is deliciously tender, full of flavor, soft enough to just pick it out of the bone effortlessly and the sweet sauce marination is perfect. The sauce and tenderness makes this dish a must every time we visit. The dish comes with coleslaw and a choice of one side. Priced at AED 96, well worth the money and perfect for one person. 2. Ladies fillet Tenderloin steak: 180g of meat cooked just as requested. Was tender and tasty. Requested some sweet sauce to go with it which just added to the flavor more! Priced at AED 109 with a choice of two sides - worth it if using a discount voucher of some sort. Our server for the evening, Mr. Ram was helpful, professional and super friendly. Service was good and quick. They went the extra mile by indulging in our request for a change of side for steak midway through our meal - complimentary. Will definitely return for the beef ribs!

we dined at the MOE outlet of this restaurant yesterday and regret to state that our Steaks were not fresh. they were frozen meat. We had striploin and Ladies Steak one each. I have made my displeasure known to them in the Survey which I completed on their I pad at end of our dinner. As always the complimentary starters ( sausage pieces in stew) were delicious, but the bread slice was stale and hard. We shall definitely give this outlet a miss in the future. The staff was as always friendly .

Been here multiple times... and one thing I can vouch for is that these guys are consistent in quality and quantity. Don’t be fooled by the picture of the location... this place gets really busy really fast... I’m not a big fan of crowded loud areas, hence the 4 starts. On to the food Beef Ribs.... These were amazing.... made to perfection... at least according to my taste. It was juicy and succulent. And the flavour was just right. And like I said, quantity is not an problem Beef and Chicken Espetada.... We ordered the beef medium well done, it was as we ordered, once before they got the order mixed and gave us well done beef, which can be a bit hard to chew. The chicken was nice and juicy. All in all it was well enjoyed meal with my family 😊

Used to be one of the top steakhouse restaurants in Dubai. Try the Wagyu Tenderloin with mushroom or pepper sauce it’s really good. Didn’t like the lamb meat quality of the Espetada it’s not chewable but the chicken is alright.

Me and my wife felt very bad at the end of the dinner. We did not have bills to tip the waiter and we used the debit card for payment. The waiter Mark disregarded us and fully ignored us after the payment when we were leaving although we thanked him and wished him a good night !!! Honestly speaking, that was the worst experience we have ever had in a restaurant. We had the deep feeling the waiter was not providing a honest and spontaneous service from his heart but was doing it to get the tips !!! Certainly we will never go back to this place ! I would rate it 1 on 10 and not 1 on 5 !!!

This has been one of my favorite restaurant, been years and years service remain the excellent, portion is awesome (good for sharing too 😜) staff are so friendly. Their steak is 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻! Service, worth the price 😉

-Dine-in experience- Location: Great! Especially of you’re already in MOE Parking: Typical mall parking. The cinema/arcade parking is the closest. Ambience: More dull than the other branches. Louder and usually more packed. Price: You truly get what you pay for! Service: Very attentive. Menu: Easy to understand - overall average. The food: The quality of the food is higher than expected, especially considering the price point. The prawns in cream soup is lovely. As it the carpaccio/ selection of steaks and the schnitzel with creamed spinach. Overall very good!

my most visited restaurant in 2017. the location is great, friendly staff, large portion, excellent taste steak with great onion rings or chips. promotion in Ramadan. but just a little bit noisy in open area.
