Visited MAHEC out of curiosity & I have to say I was not disappointed. Despite the varied options on the menu, my friends & I opted for a thali meal (cause which Indian doesn't love a good thali) & we were delighted at the burst of flavors that superceded our expectations. The non veg thali is presented with a butter chicken, lamb, chicken tikka, dal mahkani, jeera aloo & dhai Vada accompanied with the traditional Saffron rice, roti & papad. The meats were extremely succulent & so tender, it cut through like butter! Each dish was so richly flavored, I couldn't make up mind on what I loved more! Top all of this up with the infamous gulab jamun sprinkled with crushed pistachio - this was just the meal I could hope for ! I loved the personalized service as I had casually mentioned at the time of reservation that we were doing a private birthday lunch & was absolutely delighted when the staff at MAHEC surprised us with the most delicious chocolate cake (being a cake lover, I can tell a great one from a good one the moment I taste it). I also loved the welcome drink offered which seemed like a nimbo paani flavored with chaat & subja (lemon water with Indian Masala & Chia seeds) which was instantly refreshing & energizing! MAHEC certainly encompasses the richness of authentic Indian cuisine! Loved it! Recommend it !
I think is one of the best indian pakistani food resturaunt in Dubai. I loved the ambience ,the staff and management. The way they treat their customers is out class. I would recomend every one i know to visit mahec. Its amazing and the best . Keep up the good work bharat. Well done!!!!!!

We happened to visit this restaurant with a group of family friends I must say food is very tasty here but let me tell you if you have a good appetite the portions will not even fill your stomach half being a fine dine prices are on the higher side but expected the portions to be decent service and ambience is very good they also have shisha

Not my first time at this place. We did one quick stock during last Ramadan.. the spread was just perfect.. everything done just right .. The got the mantra right .. it’s not the quantity, but what is served is of the highest quality.
We did a team lunch and they didn’t disappoint, soft ballad in the background which is not too intrusive and lavish seating. Post a welcome drink n snack,the starters, quintessential birianis and the bread basket with spicy chicken curries came crawling (they do take time to get this to table, so beware) . Since there didn’t disappoint, nothing to complain about. Topped it off with Indian sweets we haven’t heard off.
If you got a team lunch n have a decent budget, this place won’t disappoint!

The visit to this restaurant was long overdue as one of the most respected names of the Indian culinary industry has lent his name to this establishment.
We had the following -
👍💥Chaat ki Dukaan - Lovely assortment of street food and tastefully done.
Gol gappas, papdi chaat, samosa chaat, channa chaat and Palak chaat - Elegant presentation, nice refreshing and tangy. Not overly spiced, just the right amount of tanginess and flavor - smashing
👍😋 Ragda Patties - Another street food favorite - Potato tikki with Amritsary cholley instead of the normal Watana - but the change only added to overall deliciousness of the dish - the Cholley were awsome and went so very well with the aloo tikki.
👍😋Chonki Sabzi - Another winner, excellent combination of vegetables stirfried with just the right amount of spices - nothing extra, just perfect and very enjoyable.
👍😋Dal Makhani - This Dal makhani was right there amongst the best I have had - and trust me I have had some of the finest. Smooth, buttery delicious
👍Assorted breads - well cooked
👍 Kulfi Falooda- nice refreshing end to the meal

Nola has always been my go-to place - moreso on national holiday weekdays when it's quieter. The food and service is always great, but I absolutely love the decor and ambiance - the mix of indoor and outdoor seating is very good. On this occasion. We tried the shrimp sliders (Po-boys as Nola calls them) - highly recommended, bun integrity was outstanding, the shrimp was fried to perfection and the sauce was great too. We topped things off with their organic black coffee and beignets - perfect afternoon!
I can say that this place is heaven for India cousin. The food is amazing and delicious. I am glad that i ordered daal makhani. And butter chicken was finger licking good. All the dishes looks flavorful and yummy. Gulab so moist it just too good
Chose this place to celebrate my mother's birthday. We were welcomed by their friendly staff and the ambience of the restaurant was quite nice. We ordered Murg Hawa Mahal Kabab, Mutton Roganjosh, Goan Prawn Curry and Butter Naan. The taste of the dishes were quite nice. We were also offered complimentary pakoda and a lemon based welcome drink, along with a birthday cake. Good experience overall.

This place is amazing for indian food too. I had chicken which was very juicy. I even tried the biryani here. I loved the perfect blend of flavours and spices.

Authentic decor and atmosphere. Friendly and professional service. There is an element of creativity but the food in general is not outstanding. The starters and the mains were average. The only standing out dish was the biryani which was very good. The desserts were also descent.

It was just like the normal buffet but nothing like a "wow" factor in this restaurant as suggested by my colleagues. Maybe need to try out the normal meal. But one thing that caught my attention is the service. I have never seen such a service till now where the staff would check each and everything in detail. Much appreciated.

Assalamwalekum, had visited Mahec few weeks back for friday brunch it was priced at 99 for adults and 49 for kids. The food served here is very tasty. The chats and starters are served on the table along with the mixed basket of rotis, nans etc. The chats include pani puris, dahi bhallas, and bhelpuri. All 3 had great taste the tanginess, sweetness everything was perfect. Then comes the mixed kababs platter which included mutton sheeks, green fish tikkas and chicken and all 3 were just excellent perfect in taste and softness. The nans and rotis were also fresh. Main course also was very good. Oh not to forget the desserts they had four types and each one had unique flavors. And the ambience is very calming and beautiful. The staff very courteous, specially Ms Shilpi she was an excellent host. Thanks to her. Overall it was an excellent friday brunch.👍😊

I went for my birthday dinner. I liked the food. Especially Arora special dal makhani. we also ordered in mix veg which was not that great. We ordered Lamb in starter, it was tender and tasty. Quantity of food was good enough for 2 people. Ambience was okay, not that fancy. I like their services. They offer welcome drink which is amazing. As it is a fine dine restaurant so according to that cost was worth. We were 4 people we ordered 3 alcohal drinks, 1 soup, 2 starters (1 veg 1 non veg) and 3 main course dishes ( 2 veg and 1 non veg) it costed us approximately 440 on a zomato gold

Mahec partnered with chef Satish Arora almost a year ago.Having cooked for celebrities such as Queen Elizabeth,Bill Clinton etc,chef satish designed a menu for mahec which consists of authentic dishes from various parts of India like kofta makhani,Goan Style Prawn Curry etc.

Are you tired of the same old Indian dishes? Well then Mahec by Satish Arora will definitely refresh your palette.
Pushing the boundaries on traditional Indian delicacies, Mahec has definitely become our new most favorite restaurant for Contemporary Indian cuisine. Starting from their plate of welcome drink and treat to their desserts, Mahec was able to blow our minds one after the other with their delicately designed plates of food.
We started off with a simple classic glass of lassi along with their Makhmali Murgh Tikka (yogurt and creme cheese based chicken). This starting dish itself was simply exceptional. The chicken was tender and fresh with the right balance between the flavors, and a sip of their lassi took me back to India while it so easily amplified the taste of the starter dish. Just when we thought that the food couldn’t get any better, we were presented with a warm basket of Butter naan with their signature Shahenshahi Kofta Makhani. The smell itself stole our hearts and the softness of the bread, honestly is unexplainable. The kofta was perfect with the bread and the luscious gravy had us lick our finger tips, savoring each bite of our food.
We will definitely be going back to Mahec not only for their savory dishes but also for their desserts. Ordering the Boondi Brûlée was the best choice we made. With chopped strawberries and burnt sugar carvings topped to the brim of a tree shaped bowl, we were served this one of a kind dessert. Perfect is too small a word to describe but for now lets stick to PERFECT!
Overall it was an extraordinary experience and Mahec by Satish Arora will definitely see us again, very soon.

The Meridien Village has plenty of options for dining and having a few adult beverages. Mahec is just one of them and a good one at that.
On a recent visit we tried the dal makhani, lal Maas, butter chicken and palak Paneer. All of them very good. The mutton in the Lal Maas could be a lot softer but the flavors were good. So often, good breads make a world of a difference - and Mahec doesn’t disappoint. Naan, Garlic Naans and Tandoori Roti all top notch.

One of the best places to eat Friday brunch .. laid back and very very relaxed. Mr. Vijay, the manager is around to welcome the guests and make them sit. Staff is very hands on and we were served excellently by Mr. Pankaj who made sure we were most comfortable and served IIS everything as and when we wanted.. welcome drinks were served and we were asked for mocktails. starters are chat which is served on table along with paneer tikka and other two items.. while we were enjoying we got our drinks and a lovely noon started.. buffet is not huge and Being vegetarians we had limited choice.. food is what force you to eat after starters and drinks as it is too well laid and looks tasty and inviting. Dal makhani was the best and I loved their biryani.. desserts were true to their Indian taste and flavor.. we had a very relaxed afternoon and left around 3pm very contented to full to our brims:-) . Looking forward to go back soon for another afternoon of great hospitality and yumm Indian food

Visited Mahec for an anniversary celebration...we were a big group ..
first things, my parents are pure vegetarians and they do not eat any onion and garlic in their food, our first reason to select Mahec was that they have an exclusive Jain menu, which gives my parents a decent variety to select from.
Next up, we were seated indoors as we had children with us and it can get pretty chilly in the winters outside..our table was well arranged prior to our arrival
from the menu we ordered a variety of dishes:
paneer tikka
tandoori brocolli ( this was a super hit with all of us)
dal makhni - was very well made , even the kids enjoyed it
veg kofta - another hit with everyone. the gravy was bit sweet but i didnt mind that too much
paneer achari tikka - this was a bit of a let down, we found the achari flavor a bit too much
palak paneer - pretty much homestyle palak. not too bad
okra raita - unique and we loved the fried okra on yogurt

the service was great as well. over all we had a good experience.

Dined at Mahec before they revamped this place. The food quality is top class. The dal makhani is out of this world. They could do a better job with the ambiance and speed of service. Yet to visit this place after the new management took over, looking forward to coming here and trying the exotic Indian food.

Amazing experience. I watched Final Table series on Netflix and saw “Satish” chef. This is why I visited his restaurant and tried the food. I had Chicken Biryani & Butter chicken. Also they served Cumin drink as complementary drink, very nice atmosphere, amazing service.

So it was diwali n after a lot of research we finalised to visit Mahec for dinner. As we entered we cld feel the festive vibes by the rangoli n the flower arrangements. We wanted to opt for the set menu for diwali but since we were a bit late we were told that its not available now. This surprised us a bit. Anyways we later decided to go for ala carte.
We first ordered for starters and drinks. Both of them were awesome. Later the main course was ordered which was also nice but not extra ordinary. The one that took our heart was the dessert. We opted for kulfa falooda wch was chef's signature dish. The kulfi in it was fabulous.
Also wld like to mention special thanks to Mr. Royal who managed to get some spagetti for our daughter who insisted she wanted to eat nothing but spagetti. It wasnt there in the menu but he managed to get it from the adjoining restaurant. Thanks a ton for the efforts. It meant alot to us.

I recently organised a private event at Mahec on a Saturday evening and this review will definitely not do justice to the amazing time my guests had. The entire team especially Vijay the manager, Antash and Shilpi were extremely helpful and catered to every detail perfectly. They practically took care of everything right from getting the setup right, to the food and DJ. We had a very happy bunch of teenagers by the end of the night.
DJ Steven had something in his playlist for everyones taste and kept the dance floor buzzing. But what made the night even better was the amazing food. We did a pass around menu of 7 items which included different types of kebabs and Indian chats. Our package also included non - alcoholic drink vouchers. My favourite dishes of the night were the lamb kebab and the Papdi chat. The dishes had the perfect blend of flavours and spice. The quantity was great too as food was continuously served for 2 hours straight.
Would also give major points to the place for its cosy vibe,setup and make shift dance floor. It makes for the perfect night out without having to endure the crazy crowd of a club They have a cute pond and fountain right outside for great pictures as well.
Would definitely recommend Mahec for private parties and casual dinners. Looking forward to visiting them once again. Great recommendation by John Thomas :)
Went a few times to Mahec during some of our stays at the Royal Meridien this year, last time in July. Always had our diner outside which is perfect so can't comment on the setting inside.

Visited the MAHEC in early September 2018, with family including children and food was amazing!. Staff were really attentive and helpful, my children don't eat as much spicy food as myself, so they tailormade their starters and mains and they thoroughly enjoyed their meals! The Goan Prawn Curry was really good! We had a mixture of starters and mains to share,, the dessert was by far the best - a mix of east meets west.
Have to say they serve lip smacking food! Satish Arora has done an amazing work on menu and executing it in the way its mentioned!
Palak tikki and mango jaljeera was served as a welcome compliments.
We ordered Malai broccoli, it just melted in my mouth the very first bite I took and after chewing it more I could feel a bit spicy adding a fusion to the dish. The second dish we ordered was Chaat KI Dukaan, its so appropriate if you are two people and having chat cravings and at the same time you are not able to decide what to order, this is the dish.
It has 5 varieties - palak chat, papdi chat, samosa chat, pani puri and Chole chat.
We wanted to taste more dishes but we were full by the time so we ended with a desert, boondie bruilee!
Have been to Mahec multiple times. The food here is very simple and reasonably priced.

Love the Meridian Village where the hotel is located with beautiful fountain and a pond which has turtles,fishes and beautiful plants all around. interior decor chandeliers are on fleek. The food here is so delicious and tasty, the presentation is really great. Drinks are freshly made and tastes just fine.Starters,Maincourse and desserts are so yummy and made us visit them more often.
The place is quite nicely done. Staff is very polite. Food (main course) is very good. However, the complimentary drink - Jal Jeera was too sweet. It seemed to have been made from some flavor, rather than actual Jal Jeera masala. Desserts were good but not very impressive or unique. The Kulfi served was too cold and too hard to be really enjoyed.
Location is Meridien Village - there are several restaurants side by side. So we were tempted to sit outdoors and enjoy live band and music because the decor inside Mahec is on the dark side and makes feel gloomy to our mood of eating out.

We wanted to order Veg Grill Platter but were told its not under Zomato Gold promotion (surprise surprise).
Chaat ki dukaan was very nice! Loved their coconut tomato shorba. Quantity in comparison is slightly less. But staff is helpful. Too many times they come to the table to ask for any help, pour water/drinks, suggest to leave the customers alone when you see them enjoying meal in the company and having great conversation.
Visited this place to celebrate birthday of a very near and dear one...and I must say it was a perfect selection.....food was nice ....ambiance also Good....friendly staff....will visit the place again
We had a brunch baby shower party on a Friday and it was great fun. Everything from food, ambience, service was 5 star. The staff was very helpful in setting up the place and assisted us in all ways possible. Our guests loved the food and the huge variety of starters and main course.

Today we have tried their brunch...they serve chats and starters at the tables & decent variety of veg and non-veg starters includes paneer,chicken, mutton and fish. Main course & dessert they serve in buffet.
Ambience is top notch.

One of the best Indian meal I have had in a hotel environment as good Indian food is often found in a stand alone restaurant.
Executive Chef Asif came out personally and made the food to our taste, which is rare.

Calm decor , 70 ‘s music ( instrumental) goes perfect with delicious food! Tried the seekh kebab , Biryani, butter chicken ,all were perfect !
