It's definetly a hidden jewel! Simply: the best...The restaurant needs serious marketing efforts since I regard it as one of the best (If not THE BEST) sushi restaurant in town. Thing is not many people know about it. Need to definetly try the Sunday thru Tuesday All You Can Eat sushi night 6 to 8 pm for AED139 pp. Not just a bargain but a STEAL ...ask for the Nigiri made of fish imported from Japan. And the tampura rolls ...out of this world !!!!!!
An amazing secret garden hidden on the Palm... Food & service are outstanding, you can even end your dinner with one of the best shisha I had in Dubai, and value for money is excellent. Highly recommended!
Stunning brunch on Friday, great location and beautiful garden lounge area. Wonderful selection of food, very tasty Particularly loves the seaweed salad, fruit salad, the range of sushi, and the seafood main course. Fantastic service who explained each dish and made us aware of upcoming events. Will definitely be back.
Kyo is a real jewel of japanese restaurant in Dubai. Beautiful decoration, delicious food and outstanding service. I have been there several times and it keeps surprising me! The food is fresh, carefully prepared and decorated and brought to your table with a lot of care by the lovely staff. I this place and recommend to anyone that enjoys good japanese food!
Really great food and each dish was beautifully presented. The staff were lovely, the service was terrific, and even though it's so new the restaurant already has a good vibe. All good :-)
Great Food. Relaxing ambience. The most knowledgable staff i have seen in quite sometime. And Chef Greg the french chef with a japanese soul....the magic reflects in his food. Truly inspiring.
A very unique dinner experience with one of the best hot oysters on robata. The details of the dish speaks for itself. Very reasonably priced compared to the fine dinning quality. Sitting at the bar tonight, I was very entertained by the food preparation scenery. I still have more dishes to try so I will def be returning for more mouthwatering dishes

It's one of the hidden places but it is on of the 5 stars restaurants of Dubai ... if you want to invite someone for a fancy dinner take them to this place. ..
Delecious food , amazing service and welcoming staff...Loved the place elegant & perfect for a fancy dinner
We went for my husbands birthday .. the setting is gorgeous, the food amazing and the staff extremely friendly and helpful. Even though the temperature outside was very warm their cooling mist fans made it very comfortable to eat in the outside garden. We will definitely be going back to try more if their amazing dishes :)
I had an amazing dinner. Food was very creative and very delicious. Service was very warm and a well decorated and cosy place to eat.
Had an amazing evening last night at Kyo. Joined the ladies night for the first time and I loved everything about it.
Food was great, cocktails were amazing, service was quick, and the views were spectacular.
Price is also on point.
Will come back again. 💖
A Japanese cuisine with a view of Atlantis and the fountains,
The ambiance was very good with a live Dj, the service was good too.
KYO on The Pointe is a stylish slice of sushi par excellence
It's high end but also high value. From the moment we were seated in a super elegant surrounding with luxurious seating and an eye pleasing view of Palm Jumeriah and Atlantis over the blue waters of the Arabian Gulf.
First tip is - whatever the Chefs specials are just try them. They were incredble. The photo is of an amazing dish which starts off with a selection of raw sushi and ends up cooked - a real adventure for the taste buds.
The Wagyu Sashimi is another taste sensation and to see it 'flash fried' piping hot in front of your eyes is another memorable experience.
We came here as a couple around our anniversary time and it's perfectly intimate for that kind of setting. But we also 'people watched ' a variety of group tables or just friends catching up in 2's and 3's and recommend that too.
It's a chic place, with wonderful views that will excel in the cooler Dubai months.
We felt comfortable, we felt satisfied, we felt full!
Shout out to the EXCELLENT service also - especially Justin from South Africa and Christian.
All in all - Would defintely go again!
KYO’s Friday brunch serves up the best of modern Japanese food to the table. Located at The Pointe in Palm Jumeirah, the views are absolutely stunning, with both indoor and outdoor dining options. The brunch is served in courses of cold dishes, gyoza, from the counter, hot dishes, and desserts.
We were first served the amouse bouche—Tsukemono mix- brightly colored pickled vegetables. We also enjoyed the seaweed salad, known as the Wakame No Sarada, with daikon, carrot, shimeji mushrooms, and mixed seaweed.
Here the gyoza really stood out; and we loved the Niku Gyoza, which was a beef dumpling with truffle cream and beetroot. The other was a veg option, stuffed with eggplant and butternut squash and a tomato puree, making it super flavorful and delicious.
And next, the sushi and what a massive platter it was! It held super fresh sushi and maki rolls, including favorites Salmon Sashimi, Truffle Sea Bass Nigiri, Spicy Tuna Uramaki, and Avocado and Hosomaki Eel Maki. Our final offering was the Teppanyaki, which was a mix of vegetables and freshly grilled, very tender salmon, and the piping hot Chicken Ramen with a Miso Basde stock, wheat noodles, and marinated chicken.
The dessert here is a huge showstopper in the form of a huge, round iced dessert platter. On it was dragon fruit, sliced watermelon, citrus fruits, Japanese ice cream, warm pastry balls filled with hot chocolate, and gazpacho.
Nice atmosphere and food.
DELIGHTFUL EXPERIENCE! Excellent food and service, nice location with a beautiful view.
A little taste of Japan with a twist. This would be the best Japanese restaurant I've been to. Service was great, food fantastic and absolutely fresh.
Highly recommend this place.
Delicious, fresh food and incredible service. Can only recommend this place. Probably one of the best Japanese restaurants on Palm Jumeirah.

We went to Kyo Ladies Night after hearing about it from a friend. They have Ladies Night on Mondays when every lady can have a sushi platter and 4 drinks for free. Yes, it’s not a typo. Ladies can enjoy the sushi, house beverages in this great venue with the amazing view of Atlantis on the outside terrace and they can leave without paying for anything.
The place is located on the licensed side of the Pointe; thus they can serve alcohol. In ladies night menu, they offer a selection of beverages and sangria was one of the favorites for the night.
We ordered some additional starters to share; a taco platter and some shrimp dumplings. Everything was delicious and well presented.
Sitting on outdoors, you have the great views of the Atlantis Hotel. It’s totally an amazing experience with all the view and high service quality.
Kyo is definitely recommended.

I was recently invited to visit KYO in palm jumeirah to check out the latest offering from this new licensed venue that is all set to beckon the winter season. I had the chance to try some very fine japanese gourmet cuisine in an elegant setting facing the iconic atlantis hotel. . KYO brings a hint of Japan to Dubai, allowing guests to experience an authentic glimpse into
Event : ladies night on a Monday
Price : Free
Atmosphere / Ambience: finally it’s that time of the year where you can comfortably sit on an outside terrace / lounge and enjoy the scenic view of the Atlantis and the water at The Pointe.
Pleasant and calming feeling when you enter this Japanese restaurant. Beautiful decor with the bar at the center in the main restaurant area on top floor.
Food review:. Each lady during ladies night is given a plate of sushi (see photo) and 4 drinks coupons (selective few for their ladies night)
Even though I wasn’t hungry I ate the sushi plate and felt privileged to be a lady in dubai. Where else would you get 4 drinks and sushi platter free with amazing ambience, view and a saxophonist who keeps you swaying on your seat.
Drinks : delicious cocktails and mocktails that one needed to go to the bar to get them - couldn’t complain as we ended up catching up with the big group of girls and moved around. I enjoyed 3 of the Dancing passion cocktail 🍸 and am writing this next day early morning on my way to work with no headache or uneasy feeling. Well I did ask them to put less alcohol in my drinks and they obliged - such wonderful staff.
Music -there was pleasant and light background sound which allowed us to catch up with friends and then the 🎷 saxophonist caught our attention. Enjoyed the lovely tunes he played
Service and foodpresentation: Excellent staff - even though they gave us a fantastic spot on the terrace facing the view for 20 ladies seating, we were couple more and they arranged to expand our seating... which included lifting sofa and tables - thanks boys.
The young lady (who had a waist of a school kid) gave out our vouchers with a charm. Great experience with staff.
Most ladies nights do not offer mocktails and it can be tricky for friends who are off drinks or those driving but TADAAA... we have Kyo restaurant to our rescue .... 🤗
Thank you for a lovely and pleasant evening out. We all had a wonderful experience and will be telling other friends too.

I went to the recently opened Japanese restaurant for dinner with my husband. There were very few people dining when we arrived and the hostesses and waiters were available to assist us throughout the meal.
We ordered several starters including Maki crispy shrimp, Black cod gyoza and Wagyu sashimi which was extremely tender and served at the table. The chef explained the process before firing up the blow torch and preparing the dish.
For the main course, we tried the Deep fried shrimp and Poached seabass. We also ordered a bottle of house wine. We found other bottles to be quite expensive starting at AED 550.
The waterfront location of the restaurant will make it an ideal choice during the cooler months and is worth checking out if you like Japanese cuisine.
Amazing location, fantastic food and superb service!! Best Japanese in Dubai!! The style of preparation is class and the variety of drinks is also fantastic. I've been to many Japanese restaurants in Dubai, this one tops them all.
Salute to the food from the land of rising sun. Newly open Kyo restaurant & lounge located at the Pointe Palm Jumeirah is serving the most mouth scrumptious contemporary Japanese cuisine along with one of the stunning view of Dubai.
Last night I had a lovely time with my friends. Along with the food, I was so thrilled by the breathtaking location, marvelous ambience, splendid grandeur and remarkable hospitality of the restaurant. The staff is most humble and well trained.
Some of my favorites from the last night are-
- Oshizushi
- Hosomaki lobster
- Edemame itameru
- Wagyu Japanese crispy tacos
- Black coz gyoza
- Shake tataki
- Citrus Suzuki Guajillo
- Nikujaga
If you like Japanese food as much as I do then you should visit KYO. Enjoy the most sophisticated dining with the beautiful view or just sip on some wine in its stylish lounge.
I've always been curious about KYO, but heard their first branch didn't serve alcohol. So we tried Friday brunch to this new branch in the Pointe and it didnt disappoint at all 😊. Not much choices though in terms of food and drinks but it's worth a try if ur d kinds who loves to explore food and places.
Very cozy place to have a chat while enjoying the view of Atlantis . Had Sushi and Maki rolls both were delicious and fresh. Staffs were very friendly and polite which makes the place even better .Our server Anthony was knowledgable and very attentive too . Thank you Kyo Team will see you soon.
Have been here for dinning and ladies night as well. Good quality sushi and other dishes, stunning view on the promenade and Atlantis. Some days live sax performance.
Amazing food and even better service - really great staff - very kind and attentive - still so nice to sit outside ! Great shisha and atmosphere too! Thank you!
We visited here a few weeks back with another couple. The location is lovely and almost serene. Lots of greenery and you are seated inside square open air booths which have humidifiers and water spray coolers to keep the air cool during warm weather. Lovely ambience, enjoyed the music. The food was great, we ordered some sushi, mocktails and dessert. The shisha however was not great and we expected much better. All in all a nice evening.
The place is amazing! The ambiance is set up in a way to feel as if you are in your own private Japanese garden. Very relaxing and comfortable.
We didn’t know what to go for so took the late brunch option. Everything was super tasty, amazingly presented and even personally explained by the chef . Make sure to add also the hot stone to experience it on your own.
You ll be trying everything from miso soup to sushi, ramen , meat etc and finishing with the mountain of desserts!
We were literary eating for 2 whole hours but we couldn’t miss anything.
Excellent place and customer service. All the best recommendations.
They also helped make our anniversary really nice and relaxing!
Thank you
Awesome spot for a nice lunch!! Business lunch deal is also a great option at 75 Dirhams you will not be going home hungry!! I had the short rib which was delicious!! Plus the service was very good and very friendly!
Superbe hidden Japanese garden on the Palm, serving delicious modern Japanese cuisine. A must-try... And we could even end our dinner with a shisha, TOP!
One of the most amazing experience. The wonderful artistic garden creates a relaxing atmosphere. We tried the weekend brunch. Food was delicius and the set menu realy extensive. The service was very kind and professional.
Decided to do a weeknight date night with the Wife and hit up Kyo on the Palm. Pleasantly surprised at the setting - a serene green private outdoor setting that was perfect. Menu is not extensive but everything we ordered was truly delicious. We were served by Stan and his service was lovely. He offered some great suggestions and we were glad we went with them. Definitely suggest ordering the teppanyaki and watching the chef cooking right by your table. They did say that they were working on an alcohol license, so this place will probably get a lot more busy in the future. Till then their food, setting and service should justify a return visit soon.
Great food and friendly staff ;) Yesterday I had the brunch experience and everything was delicious. The dessert platter was huge. They were also able to serve me all dishes gluten free.
Most amazing experience with a cool unique artistic design indoor and variety to sit outdoor
Tried all you can eat sushi professional staff
Tasty food
Quality is super high
Low prices compared off what we eat
Nice experience
A must try
Deserts also of unique taste.
Amazing place with a design suitable for a luxury restaurant. The private space for each table in the smoking area is very exceptional and chilled. Staff is one of the best with their impeccable attention to details. The open air with all this greenery is worth going back every time! Food is good, shisha as well !
Very fantastic experience at Kyo. Tasty food , good presentation and friendly staff . Nice place . Staff Ms Nam was very friendly and explained all menu items well.
Great food
Excellent presentation
Very caring waiters
Nice atmosphere - a garden (little downside - some mosquitoes in December)
Brunch offers excellent value for money (although for some reason, take away was not allowed for brunch, although it was a set meal menu, not buffet style)
One of the best Japanese restaurants in the UAE, with a great design much like a Japanese tea garden. The food was amazing, truly some of the best Japanese food I’ve had, the food was well presented and the portions were very generous. As for the staff they were very well organized and seemed on top of everything. Overall it’s one of the most enjoyable restaurants I’ve been to in a long time.
Had a fantastic brunch this Saturday at Kyo! The service was very attentive and excellent food and drinks. To top it all we were surprised with this fabulous dessert platter that both kids and parents went crazy after. Will definitely be back 👌
Kyo Restaurant has an excellent service, awesome food and great value for money.
Customer service was top of the class. I could never complain more. The staff were accommodating and made sure they attend to our needs as customers. I also commend “Kobat” for his excellent service and taking care of us well..
Food was tasty, fresh and it taste really clean to our palates. All my friends agree to this as well. All the food items were delicately prepared from its presentation till it hits my palate...
Awesome experience! Worth coming back!#JapaNice Experience
The ambiance of the restaurant walking in was welcoming, service and food were excellent! Wait staff were very attentive and went above and beyond to ensure an enjoyable experience. The food was SPECTACULAR; wagyu steaks on the hot stone was incredibly delicious. The desserts were unique and quirky. Definitely would recommend for anyone looking for something different :)
Only downside; restaurant a bit hard to locate. A True hidden gem!
We had a fantastic dinner with friends at Kyo!
We did not expect too much as we just went there due to the closely location and convenience and were positively surprised.
The place is beautifully decorated and has a lovely atmosphere with music playing decently in the background.
We were greeted very friendly by the receptionist and given the table of our choice. Inside it was a bit chilly but the ladies were provided immediately with pashminas as well as with hangers for the handbags.
Service was excellent and could not have been better, even the hot water for our tea was refilled by the waiter once he noticed it was almost empty.
Food was very good, well presented and explained again when arriving at the table. The portions were decent, we liked all dishes ordered except the aubergines which were a bit too greasy for our taste but not bad otherwise. The deserts were fantastic and all in all we had a great evening!
We really liked the small touches like the scarves, the refill of hot water, chefs's greeting from the kitchen, great service and the fact that the staff mentioned the ENBD promotion.
Even if the place was very quiet that night we had a great night and felt cozy, the waiters were doing a fantastic job!
We will definitely be back once the stunning garden is open!
We have visited Kyo twice now. Once for dinner and once for Friday brunch. Both exceptional.
The food is phenomenal and the service great. We will definitely be back.
Can't wait to visit the lounge when the weather cools down.
Great food and excellent service. We will be back. The veal cooked for 50 hours and the black cod were delicious. We especially loved the Ponce sauce.
Great staff, relaxing atmosphere , well executed food , lovely interior decor , reasonable priced , best garden in Dubai with original Japanese features!
This place a little hidden gem in Dubai. It's tucked away in a corner of The Palm but when you get there you feel like you've come into a completely different world! The food is excellent (especially the double salmon and cheese sushi which just melts in your mouth), the place is beautiful, the service is great. Highly recommended!
Yummy food, excellent service, hidden gem on the palm. Outdoors seating available, great decor, creative menu. No alcohol licence. Brunch available on Friday and Saturday.
I really liked my experience in the restaurant. Love the ambient and atmosphere. I ordered the seaweed salad which was really nice. My main course was the wagyu beef and fried rice with eggs. It was very very tasty. I can't wait for winter to try out the seating outside coz it looked really really nice. Love it.

I've been here more than 5 times and every time the food gets better and better. I highly recommend Kamal the waiter. The salmon sashimi is amazing. Big thanks to the manger Sebastian and to KYO.
An incredible unwinding shifting experience after the long working days we all go through.... The welcome, the food, the atmosphere, the service, the staff and above all being able to sit outside and feel like it's still March in Dubai due to the amazing cooling techniques they have! Thanks for making us feel the weekend is not over yet ☺️
Saw their Facebook ad and wondered maybe we could give it a try.
They have an amazing offer this April over weekend at AED139 per person for unlimited sushi and sashimi, not on conveyor belt but a la carte. Timings are early though, bookings only from 6-7:30pm.
So done, we booked a table for 6 people at 6:30 for an early dinner to surprise a friend. We were welcomed by lovely lovely staff who assisted our to our private pod.
We then ordered and had everything presented nicely on our table. You can't order again unless you finish what's on your plates.
Each plate of goodness was like heaven! Not your ordinary sushi. The sashimi was top class!
Not only was the food great but service was also 5*!
Just a tip: Ladies, be ready for mosquitoes if you booked a table outside in the garden. Try to cover as much skin as you can. Otherwise, have your mosquito repellent handy! ✌🏼
So I had been to this japanese french infused restaurant with beautiful botanical garden to try out their delicacies they serve at their best and i must say it was spectacular experience with divine and unique taste we had encountered. We have beeen served with salads, appetizers, maincourses, sushi, drinks and not to forget the georgeous dessert's. All were done and served at their best and i would love to go again to revive the same memories..

KYO=Oh-my-God-Experience.
The service was a 5 on 5. Nathan was attentive and courteous, and so prompt with suggestions and was actually eager to explain the menu.
We were a group of five, and in the end, we all went for the 'All you can eat' for AED 139.
Excellent food, FRESH Sashimi... I tried the sashimi of red snapper and also salmon: I wanted to drink it with a straw... that's how fresh and delicious it was...
Love this place! Will definitely recommend it again.
Just amazing place and great service and food. You feel you are in heaven on earth..
Dont miss the chance to try it. Perfect for groups and couple.
Two things you MUST TRY: The octopus which was to die for. It was really soft and not chewy at all. And the 66% + 33% Chocolate was 100% AMAZING! The vibe is relaxed and good place to hangout. Will definitely go back.
Loved the breakfast menu, pocket friend and healthy. Beet juice, granola and matcha pancake was the best. However, I didn't like their matcha cappuccino, don't like the addition of coffee. I was expecting it to have matcha and milk only.
Recently went to Kyo for traditional Japanese breakfast and I was greatly impressed. First of all, it is the only place in Dubai that serves a delicious omelette with grilled eel and gingerly fried mushrooms (Tamago Yaki) for the price of AED 35. Their rice with fermented soya beans and tender salmon on a side (Dento) is a real treat for adventurous foodies as I've never tried anything like that before. Skip coffee and order their hot lavender punch, a jasmine tea with a touch of lavender syrup and fresh basil leaves and pair it with Kyo's famous waffle. This place is easy to find with a help of google maps plus there is plenty of parking
High quality ingredients, attentive service, and unique ambience.
Highly recommend for groups of friends, family or even business meals.
Also great desserts!
This is of latest Japanese resturant in dubai which it has outdoor seating like home garden. Personally would recommend foodies to go for the visit and try it ..
A Japanese garden under the monorail on Dubai's one and only Palm Jumeirah! Great set menu for weekend brunches means you can put your feet up post breakfast and enjoy the lawn setting with the sun providing the all-too-familiar warm massage to those work-bashed nerves. The Jap bakery special breads are a treat, each one of the assortment that touch on traditional Japanese as well as western-influenced recipes. Only long enough, then you get back to the bullet train merry go around of Japanese main course indulgences, sushi and sashimi platter, tepanyaki and desserts. A Nippon themed weekend is not across the Pacific for Dubai dudes and donnas.
A friend recommended this restaurant to mefor a special occasion I wanted to celebrate. Was hard to find it as its hidden in the Palm Jumeira, Golden mile.
We booked for the garden outdoor seating and didn't know it is their shisha lounge. The weather was amazing and the garden was very relaxing and quite.
The food was average.
Enter this stylish restaurant and you are bound to be floored by its artistic circular pipe chandeliers painted in chrome black and authentic japanese painting, beautifully strung on the walls.Paper lanterns are suspended delicately, all creatively written in the japanese language translating to the restaurant name, kyo which holds a meaning of entertainment. The restaurant also boasts a 200 outdoor seating garden, which evokes a calm and serene oasis encompassed by manes of plush foliage.
Right then, wife is a shushi expert having eaten half of Japan out of spicy tuna and I personally hate sushi, so here goes
Sushi 4.5
Surf turf (me) 4 ( only because it was small)
Service 5
Garden 5
Shisha 4 ( not quite right)
Overall 4.5
Enough said especially to all those people who come here and complain about the sushi!

Tucked behind the Shoreline apartments of the Palm Jumeirah with a small entrance yet to be in developing stage is this awesome restaurant KYO Escape that has an amazing stretch of contemporary Modern Garden Patio and with a great vibe. KYO is one of the restaurants which is at the start of the Golden Mile which served French infused Japanese cuisine.
I was awestruck from the moment I got in. The interiors are so classy yet modern. The Green Garden gives a lovely feel to the place very colorful and very fresh. The staff are friendly and helpful and the food is great. There is great attention to detail be it with the ambiance, service or the food.
We started our experience with the creative Mocktails. We tried the Berry Drink which was amazing and refreshing that you can’t get enough with one setting.
We had an amazing Masterclass with the Chefs for making Maki and Vegetable Sushi, Thanks to The Stylish Gravy and Food Forum for opportunity of the experience.
The journey began with the Salad, Starter, and Platter of Sushi, Maki and Sashimi. We enjoyed all the dishes infused with Italian touch and mouth melting sushi. My favorite and most classical sushi was smoked Salmon with Philadelphia cheese and California Rolls – A must try!
KYO has come up with this concept of DIY Hot Stone cooking which is live cooking on your own table with variety of meat, sauces, seasoning to enjoy your own cooked perfection. We tried beef sirloins with various sides to enjoy. It’s an amazing element for the winters to welcome in Dubai.
With so much of eating done already, we barely had space in our tummies but absolutely couldn’t resist the fancy looking lovely desserts and no regrets of having them. We have been served with the ginger and lemon grass infused Tiramisu. Yes, innovated classical tiramisu was way beyond amazing and the Chocolate Fondue with Apricot Sorbet was another hit which had different spectrum of intense flavors and a master piece to combine them together.
It was a wonderful gastronomical experience and we enjoyed every bit of it and yes we will be coming back soon for trying the rest of the Menu and the mouth melting desserts.

My experience here was awesome, the ambience was nice inside or outside the restaurant, fast service and very excellent customer service. I tried 3 types of sushi I just love it ♥️ and my main course The grill thing I was actually enjoying the way they present the food. Everything was fantastic!! 👍👍
Firstly I don't understand what some "foodies" are looking for in a restaurant on the Golden Mile, nestled amongst Nero and TIM Hortons.
But the visit I had with my wife was excellent, the food was well prepared and presented with good flavouring and fusion of herbs and spices with subtle pleasures from squash and ginger mash.
The staff are very pleasant and eager to please, it is worth a try and is a very very good local japanese, but I wasn't looking to find a Zuma or PLAY. I got what I expected and paid for, very happy customer thanks.
I went to KYO last weekend and I did not regret it. Even though the location is a little confusing it is still a nice place that has a good vibe. The food was great and the service was even better.

Very friendly staff, a slight bit pricey for what you get, yet all the dishes where delicious. Would definitely recommend it. Can't wait to try the outside lounge when it is setup at the end of the month and the Yuzu shisha.
Beautiful place that will become even better when they open the outside garden area! The staff is very friendly and has perfect knowledge of the menu. Also a big compliment needs to be given to the manager Sebastian that was always available for us when needed and even gave us a private tour showing and explaining to us about the new garden eating area that they will open soon.
However, food wise I have to say that this restaurant needs to improve a bit more and if they do that I have no doubt that they can easily become the next it place in the casual dining/ japanese fusion market.
Overall a distinguished fine dining experience. I was impressed by the place. Although Im not fond of the Japanese cuisine, but I have to confess that this restaurant changed my mind. Their food is really to die for. Ambience and decoration were superb. Even the slightest details have been taken care of. I just love this place and cant wait to visit it again. It is a gem in the Palm.
New Japanese fusion restaurant in town situated in The Golden Mile. Awesome concept with delicious food and drinks. Sashimi was to die for, you can see when someone is passionate about what they do and here it can be seen in both the food and beverages that were prepared for us. A great variety to choose from that cater to everyone's dietry requirements and tastebuds. Save space for the dessert.... 😜 Beautifully decorated interior as well as an outdoor section that will be opening soon. Cannot wait to go back there! Thank you to Chef Gregory and your team for the amazing experience.

A few days back we said Yokoso to the newest Japanese resto-lounge in town. Kyo Café & Lounge brings a combination of chic ambience and an impressive Japanese cuisine to Palm Jumeirah. This is definitely one place to add on your 'must try Japanese in Dubai' list.
Their sushi bar menu features a wide selection of sashimi, nigiri and more, so if you're a sushi fan, you will definitely love this.
Kyo Cafe and Lounge does really good mocktails too.
Their berry drink features mixed berries and cranberry juice at the base topped with ginger ale and lots of ice.
The cucumber cooler starts with muddled cucumber and yuzu lime and is garnished with Japanese togarashi spices on the rim for that sweet and spicy taste in every sip.

Last night we said Yokoso to the newest Japanese resto-lounge in town. Kyo Café & Lounge brings a combination of chic ambience and an impressive Japanese cuisine to Palm Jumeirah. This is definitely one place to add on your ‘must try Japanese in Dubai’ list. This offering from their sushi bar is an Oshizushi variant featuring double salmon on a base of Japanese rice sandwiching Philadelphia cheese with chives and avocado between.
Newly opened but worth the visit...excellent service and atmosphere. The shotoribou and chocolate gyoza are a must try!! For appetizer the scallops are an excellent starter. The open kitchen brings the full Japanese culinary experience to live. Looking forward to checking the outdoor dining area in October!

One of the best Japanese cuisine experiences you could ever have.
We liked the decoration so much, the service was perfect & friendly, and the taste was outstanding.
Simply one of the top Japanese restaurants in Dubai and a must try one!
The food quality is amazing. They have the best wagyu beef steak I've ever experienced. Simply exquisite Japanese food by the book. Service was excellent and quick. This restaurant knows how to do it professionally although they're still on soft opening.
Restaurant was empty as its new but the food was fantastic. Went with friends and had a great time. Sushi and dessert was to die for. Looking forward to their shisha garden opening.
I went to Kyo last week for the first time and am already planning when I will go back! The interiors are really cool, especially the lighting. The food was amazing and the staff were super friendly and professional. They knew everything that was in the dishes and were very helpful. I would definitely recommend the duck and foie gras Gyozas to start as these are really unique and the oysters, which had the most amazing flavors! The black cod was my favourite main course and was really tasty. For a Japanese restaurant I wasn't expecting anything special for dessert, but I was proved wrong! I had the pear strudel which was so good! My wife had the chocolate Gyozas and really enjoyed them as well. So my advice to anyone visiting this place would be...save room for dessert!
My wife and I went over the weekend to Kyo restaurant for dinner, which has recently opened on The Palm Jumeirah (in Golden Mile) and we had such a great time! We were so pleasantly surprised by this gem!
The waitress was so lovely and really took her time to introduce us to the concept as well as the menu. They serve Japanese food with a twist. So in addition to fantastic sushi, sashimi, and an amazing black cod we also sampled really good oysters as well as veal short rib which was cooked for 50h and tasted super delicious. The desserts were just amazing! We sampled chocolate gyoza and nachi pear which was served with ginger ice cream.
The interiors were really romantic and everyone was so welcoming. The team also informed us that in addition to the inside eating area an amazing Japanese style garden will also open later on this year where guests will be able to enjoy the food as well as shisha inspired by Japan! We had a sneak peak and it looks really nice.
We will definitely be coming back and must say that KYO is a fantastic addition to Dubai's dining scene.
