The food is perfect! I so so love my burger thats full of cheese OMG! Crowd is the best also! Full of energy! Loved the staff and the service too !! Will definitely come back!
The food tastes good, but it's quite expensive. I love the ambience and crowd. It's a perfect hangout spot, especially if you're with friends.
Went for a couple of drinks with friends, service was great. Manager was great even gave us a some lite bites on the house.
Their British roast are to die for 😍
The server recommended wings too, I must say I had a hearty meal! We went there to watch a game!
Pro tip- they also have Zomato
Enjoy!
The food, the atmosphere, the staff... I can’t describe how wonderful my experience was in this place!
Highly recommended (Burger sliders and Steak Bites).
Hint: if you like to try new drinks you never had, just tell Anna (best Bartender) “Hit me with your today’s best” and you will try something that will blow your mind
Plus there is music selection and pool table.. it’s fun place to be in.

Special thanks to Alex and Anna ❤️
- Ran into this awesome hidden gem thanks to Emirates Platinum
- lovely decor, traditional british pub
- many screens to watch the games. I was not here on a game night
- the food is brilliant, i recommend the shephards pie and the classic burger
really enjoyed the meal, service and experience.
hope you will too
Best place to chill out with friends, nice decor, great service, best place to watch sports, located next to la perle entrance. 5 to 8 pm they have happy hours. Overall good experience.
Excellent place to catch-up with friends, super cool menu for food and beverages. Great ambience and interiors.! Best service rendered by a Ukranian gentleman(couldnt recollect his name) . Keep up the great work..
A nice English Pub tucked away in V hotel, The Rose and Crown is a good place to grab a cold one after work or drinks in a casual setting. Been there a couple of times during the ICC Cricket World Cup to watch the games!
The ambiance is cozy and inviting especially on the first floor. The service is quick and the customer experience is really satisfying! Zomato Gold on drinks makes it lighter on the pocket.
The food is delicious (especially the fries and the wings) The fries are ABSOLUTELY DELICIOUS are a must order with your hop! They have great portion sizes however the food is on the pricier side.
WINGS!!! The best I've had in Dubai by far!!! Very good quality and Buffalo sauce is spot on!! Chilled out, not too crowded. My go to place for a quick beer and football.
Really enjoyed the pub itself, great atmosphere, not so happy when I learned I couldn’t take my leftovers home because it was ‘pork.’ I just couldn’t finish it as the portions are large and didn’t want to waste money. You can buy it in a supermarket, why can’t I wrap it up and take it home after I’ve paid for it?
We had a lovely dinner and drinks session with my Wife at this friendly bar/pub twice. On both occasions we have had very good quality meals that are delicious. We were served by Ali both times who was very helpful and just a lovely character to chat to. He made our night very pleasant. Highly recommend this place for a great roast dinner or even a quiet drink.
Second visit here as we loved the food, vibe and atmosphere. Definitely recommend this place for good pub food, drinks and atmosphere. Ali was of great service on both occasions.
This is one of our favourite pubs to visit.
The food is always great quality pub grub.
This was a day for fish n chips with mushy peas and it did not disappoint.
The staff are normally friendly and happy to see you.
They have games on the tables such as connect 4 and Jenga which makes everyone forget about their smart phones for a while and have fun in each other’s company
I love the Rose and Crown! It’s my go to local pub. They’ve got a great happy hour every day and delicious food. They have also got a dart board and a pool table and there’s pork on the menu.
I have been to the Rose and Crown pub several times for a casual after work dinner with friends. The place has normal tables, booths and a few bar tables with stools. There is an upstairs area with large tv screens showing sports and smoking is allowed there. It gets a little busier later in the evening and especially on Wednesday when it's ladies night. The menu has a good selection of starters and mains. And there are a few dessert options also. On this occasion we ordered the shrimp for starters which came with fries and was big enough for two of us share. For the main course we had the pork ribs and chicken tikka masala. We barely had enough room left, but somehow managed to squeeze in the sticky toffee pudding and apple crumble. All in all we had attentive waiters and the meals were tasty and good value for money.
You don’t have to go far to reach The Rose and Crown 🌹 🤴🏻 because it’s central Dubai at Habtoor City on Sheikh Zayed Road! Smart, clean and professional with great service, all your favorite drinks 🍹 and traditional English 🇬🇧 pub grub 💥that’s served fast and not over priced. The chicken and avocado 🥑 ciabatta was delicious and The Big Ben burger with pure beef topped with a fried egg, bun, fried onion rings and crisp golden chips hit the spot! Catch the football 🏈 play snooker 🎱 and listen to popular music 🎶 It’s all here! Thanks for your great service Atha 🙏🏻😊
A gorgeous, very stylish pub. I've never been to England and Ireland, but after visiting the pub The Rose&Crow I have the impression that I've been to Ireland. Great atmosphere, fast and courteous service, very tasty steaks. Prices are adequate. Portions sufficient to feed an adult hungry man. The pub is clean.
After a few cocktails with the world's best Irish liqueur Baileys, it seemed to me that Leipreachán would appear from around the corner. Now my dream is to visit Ireland.
And on the bar works very pretty blonde Diana, who makes the most delicious cocktails with Baileys. When I once again fly to Dubai, I will definitely come to this pub again.
Food is always good and the prices are great! There’s something for everyone, and the scotch eggs are awesome. Yana is a fantastic waitress, always smiling and always happy to help! Will definitely go back the next time I’m in Dubai!

Visited for lunch and had the Baby Pork Ribs. The meat was cooked beautifully but the portion was so big that I kinda got tired of the taste by the end. The chips were amazing. I also ordered extra bacon on the side which I felt was a bit undercooked and did not taste good.
The service was courteous the ambience is chill.
Best happy so Irish happy hour! 25 dirhams and you’ll get a nice beer and wine! The bites and chips are also amazing! The girl waitress are nice however, the guy who welcomed us isn’t really accommodating.
Our order was:
Rose and crown Fish and chips
Rose and crown Beef burger
Rose and crown salad
A delightful meal.
The fish and chips was refreshing with its balanced flavors. The fish outer batter was not soggy nor oily, the fries were crispy and so good. Mashed peas had a unique deep like flavor that complemented the meal well, and not bland as other places that serve a similar dish. Tartar sauce was a good side to the fish.
The burger was thick and juicy and appetizing to the eyes and palate. It came with a side dish of fries.
Salad was a mix of greens, avocado and grilled shrimps. A good choice for a light eater.
We had a 20% discount after attending La Perle next door.
Service was good and staff very friendly.
Big screens on the walls for those wanting to enjoy watching the games in a cool laid back atmosphere.
All in all, a good place to hang out with friends.
Will I go back?! Yes!
What an amazing night spent at Rose and Crown, from the moment we walked in the door, been greeted by the manager Brendan Coomey, who ensured we had a great table for our birthday celebration, staff where friendly and always near by when we needed something and attentive to our needs, food was delicious, as we had many starters to share, chicken wings which was my favorite, onions rings, chicken tenders, pork belly soft and juicy, drinks all round and just in time for happy hour! Atmosphere was warm and cosy! Will definitely be back, thanks team for a special night!
Best place to be for all AHC staff other than anyone who wants to try something new
They have a wide variety of Drinks and the service is as well great !
Dart game , pool table is another great thing to enjoy while having your favourite drink.
Great place and wonderful service. Thanks Ali for the great hospitality. The food is awesome and the steak is really good. Great location too.

As I knew that this pub serves pork which I miss the most in this country, After watching the great La perla show, I ventured in shortly. There is a British style red telephone booth in front , making it easily recognizable. Personally I have never been to England and naturally never been to a British pub.
What I found is many of the artistes from the next door production , are regular customers here and they sit around the bar which makes it very difficult for the servers/bartenders to attend to other customers who are seating in others parts of the pub. They have separate high tables, sofa sets in the corners which help the bigger groups and also the nice booths on one side. Catching the eye of a server is first step. Then you somehow add enough pleading in your eyes to persuade them to come to your table. Finally the food. After debating a lot if I should leave or not, I became proactive and collected the menu from another empty table and got to work.
I selected the starter crispy Pork knuckle with Apple sauce and some veggies in exchange of fries @115 dhs. And a Pork baby back ribs in barbecue sauce with coleslaw and fries @85 dhs. I had to literally gesture frantically to order them though. Then came a period of dangerously calm weathers in my table. The Bar was getting very busy with lots of people having fun, shouting, jokes, backslapping etc etc. I thought May be they have forgotten my order and I should slip away in the night. But my fine upbringing stood me up and I decided to suffer it all. Many a time the seriously polite and smiling servers passed by me and occasionally deigned to tell me that my order surely will be ready soon. Anyway you get the picture.
The food was excellent when it reached me. By this time I was so hungry , probably any signboard proclaiming food would have caught me drooling. The knuckle was medium sized and crispy enough. I needed the ribs to fill my tummy. It was wholesome with lots of BBQ sauce spread on the Smokey ribs wih good amount of flesh. Chips were well done - crispy outside and soft inside. Veggies and coleslaw were just perfect. The Apple sauce was new to me but immediately caught my fancy. I will definitely say that the food is of great quality and taste here.
I took a french rose wine @55 dhs , for the first time here and it captivated me - since then wherever I go, I take a rose wine religiously with food. It was the kind suggestion of one waiter here and I will be forever indebted to him for this.
Now the final ordeal of paying the bills. Took me lot of patience and articulating and gesticulating but finally I left my table and went to the cash counter and paid then and there- almost forcing them to take my money.
The food enticed me to order a dessert but the inordinate and frustrating delay which I experienced , forced me to decide otherwise and I left. Quite oscillating between two extremes of satisfaction from food and laid back service. Behaviours were quite good though. But no sincere apology for the delay.
The environment was perfectly suitable for the pub and milieu was definitely such. Bit dimmed lighting, bright bottles with mirrors at the bar, lots of fun around the bar, groups of people all around the place and many upstairs - where assumably smokers, pool tables etc congregate. Many were taking their drinks from the bar down personally- this can be done with the food too.
I am still undecided about a revisit. Let's wait for few months and see. And about recommending to others - Again risky - go if you have lot of time in hand and you are in need of high quality British pub grubs.
They should definitely do something about the service though. A huge let down. Otherwise the rating would have been sky high.

The Rose & Crown, adding to the list of quintessential “British pub” names to grace the shores of Dubai. Other noteable entrants include the Black Lion, The Red Lion, and the Crown & Lion (notice the theme). Back to the Rose & Crown, which stands between The W Dubai and The St. Regis Dubai in Al Habtoor City at the entrance of The Atrium with a distinctive red phone box, albeit lacking in the usual “advertisements” one usually finds inside. The establishment officially opened its doors to the public last August and with an unmistakable waft of ‘real ale, sports and crisps, we felt certain certain we were in for a good old fashioned, unpretentious British knees up.
I tried this pub last Thursday and I liked it a lot. Maybe because i miss the London pub life but at least they did a nice job at The Rose & Crown. It is a typical pub, on 2 levels , with a pool and decent live music and very nice food. I tried their signature burger which has the best bun ever. Fries are delicious and so the chicken tenders. Service needs to improve but the staff was so nice and polite that at least they were apologizing for the delay. I will definetly go back. They have happy hour and ladies night, which is usually none of my interest but it may be good to know :)
It s the perfect choice if you want to see a show at La Perle or at the super cool Karaoke bar called Blind Dragon, in the same building "The Atrium" .
Visited again two weeks ago, met friends two nights in a row, so about time I reviewed I guess!
It's basically a great pub that just needs a few more customers to create a decent atmosphere.
Staff are friendly and the food is good quality pub grub, but as is typical with Dubai pub food, a little expensive.
Certainly a pub I would recommend to anyone if they want a very nice British style pub that feels like a pub rather than a wine bar.
Good pub grub with a very relaxed atmosphere. I love their quinoa salad and their chicken tikka masala is also really good. Their chicken and leek pie was nice and creamy.Definitely going back to try more items on the menu.
Yes, London calling!!!
Love their burgers & pie. the big ben a must try! The service is good and quick!
With nice selection of beers and the happy hours offers which will make you visit this place often
Located near Dubai Canal at the Habtoor city, next to w hotel with lots of parking
Had a truly wonderful experience here. Been looking all over the area for a quality pub that I can properly say "this is my local", although most have fell way short except for this! Well, glad I've found it now! Walked in and felt the atmosphere instantly, friendly staff, tv all around, pool and darts upstairs, loads of beers to chose from and of course, a special evening almost every night. Monday I remember to be the burger night with one of any burgers at 25aed, which they normally charge 60 something. Definitely revisiting very soon
Stepping into a British Pub:
When you notice a giant London phone box on arrival, you can be certain that you’re in for the most traditional and rustic British feast in Dubai. At the entrance, you can’t help but pose and take a million pictures with the bright red telephone box (it’s something the restaurant is immensely proud of). But it's more than just the authentic local feel and relaxed vibe this British pub protrudes. Yep, you guessed right, it’s the food that makes us rave about this place ever since we stepped in.The Food:
We began tucking into our British Feast with a serving of the classic Scotch Egg comprising of a perfectly boiled egg wrapped in sausage meat, coated in breadcrumbs and deep-fried to golden perfection. The egg was runny on the inside and the mustard mayo amplified the flavor of the starter.
Next, we tried another classic and a favorite late night snack in England – Chips and Curry Sauce! The chips were crisp on the outside and soft on the inside. As for the curry sauce, the flavor was slightly similar to a regular Indian curry; it wasn’t as hot or spicy and had a satisfying sweet flavor. For our mains, we tried one of the Great Britain’s Great Pies. We opted for the Chicken and Leek Pie that looked decadently rustic. The pie was stuffed with tender chicken chunks, leeks, onions, and potatoes and topped with a flaky and crumbly crust that melts in your mouth. The pie is served with garden peas that complimented the dish beautifully.
We also tried the very famous Rose & Crown Fish & Chips that were without a doubt the best and most tastiest Fish and Chips we’ve had. The fish was perfectly flaky and the crust literally crumbles in your mouth as you bite into it. We feared the fish would be greasy, but it wasn’t (phew!) and the homemade tartar sauce served as the perfect accompaniment! If we had to be picky, we would’ve preferred the chips to be slightly more chunky.
Finally, we tried the Chicken Tikka Masala (one of Britain’s favorite comfort food) served with rice, poppadum and mango chutney. The flavors of the gravy were spot on, the chicken was beautifully succulent and the sweetness of the chutney went perfectly with the spice from the gravy. For dessert, we wanted to stick with the British theme and opt for the Mum’s Mixed Fruit Crumble but unfortunately it wasn’t available. Instead, we opted for the Warm Chocolate Pudding with Caramel Sauce. The pudding’s consistency was a cross between a chocolate cake and a fondant. As for the flavor, it was rich, decadent and indulgent! However, the pudding was lacking a scoop of vanilla ice cream to balance the flavor out.
I am very fond of British style pubs, wooden interiors allure me,
Beers on tap, dim yellow lights, live football and loud crowd makes the ambience lively.
Had to check this place out, the phone booth outside provides authenticity,
A more modern and urban taste but maintains the pub setting clearly.
It's own lager, crisp and fresh, at happy hour prices will surely entice you,
The hoppy and fruity tones of the german Franziskaner is surely a lovely brew.
The pimms cup in a hoegaarden glass was unique and exemplary,
Pimms with fresh mint and berries in Dubais weather worked perfectly.
The fish and chips were decent, chips not authentic but tartar and mashed peas were,
The chicken tikka masala tasted like packaged curry, far from authentic, it was an average affaire.
Great service, huge space, quiet and not really crowded for a Thursday night,
Surely recommended, will visit on a game night because drinks they are doing it right.
Great new find in the atrium at Al Habtoor City.
Proper English pub and grub with great servers that are very attentive and knowledgable.
We had the Cobb salad, followed by the chicken and leek pie and a side order of onion rings, all made superbly well.
If you feel homesick and you fancy good pub food head down to this place as it will serve its purpose.
After taking my reservation, the voice on the phone explained how to find the place, ‘Look for an old, red London telephone booth outside the Atrium as you enter Habtoor City from SZR’, he said, ‘and you’ll have found The Rose & Crown’. I don’t know why but I felt right at home as I entered. The Rose & Crown has got a very familiar look and feel. Perhaps that’s because it’s so similar to…um, a modern British pub.
...Started the night with ordering drinks, as you do! A glass of red wine for my friend and an Apple cider draft for me! We also ordered soup of the say which was vegetable soup, Chicken Cesare Salad and Quinoa Salad, Deep fried Scampi and Chips & Curry Sauce!...

We really enjoyed our visit to the rose & crown, we felt like we were back in the UK. The staff were welcoming and very polite throughout our visit. The food came to our table fresh and hot, we really liked the starters but the mains were amazing specially the steak and ale pie we highly recommend the pie.
New watering hole in the city, tucked away in yet under construction Habtoor City, where old Metropolitan was. But, this is located in far more contemporary W hotel.
Well, contemporary describes it very well. Well lit and cheerful. It is a pub with a modern vibe. The two floor set up does allow for open spaces, but more on that later.
The beer menu rivals its rivals...usual suspects on tap and more usual suspects in bottles! With prices to match! Oh, sometimes I do miss the old Metropolitan and its AED 24/- pints!
Food menu has plenty more usual suspects! All good, though. B&M was good and burger was good enough too.
The upper floor has pool and darts and something else. Remember all that space. Well, I just found out the best place to watch football. On the upper level, right across from the bar and overlooking the floor below are a set of bar stools where you can sit and watch the match on big screen on the opposite wall. There is no way anyone can come between you and the screen, unless BFG walks in!
This place is going to get crowded as soon as the canal opens. Till then, enjoy all the space and good service. Happy hours are between 6 and 8!
Only gripe: no non-smoking area. This is where Eloquent Elephant scores big. Why not have a floor for non-smokers?
Had been to this new place over the weekend. Beautifully done up , so much the Brit theme. It wasn't that crowded until late 9 ish, though their happy hours were from 6-8. Tried couple of beers and cocktails . They have this excellent cocktail pimms cup which is a mix of various fruits and topped with hoegarden which was simply amazing. Their quick bites of scamp shrimpi which was breaded shrimps fried to perfection. Absolutely delicious and crispy.
Couple of dart boards and pool boards around , u can indulge in keeping urself active too though you are not with a big group. Very well mannered and gentle staff, excellent service . Very reasonable prices. This place indeed has a warmth! Love to be here often
Great new spot opened in business bay for pub lovers. Nice and classy two levels pub with pool table, seriously good burgers and excellent service. Atmosphere is still not there yet, but I'm sure within few months it will be a place to be! I'm looking forward to go back for chilled evening with friends over cold beer and cheat meal
Happened to go here on a friday just for a drink with friends. They place was good it really gave an english feel. Loved the ambience! Also it wasn't so crowded. The pub was empty with very few people which came to a surprise to me as it was a weekend. Overall we had fun with grt music playing.

Came to rose and crown after my mate told me about it.
Already the entrance is awesome, I mean who in dubai has a red phone booth in front of their door.
When you come in its a elegant English pup with a nice and welcoming atmosphere. You have 2 levels with a bar on each one so they prepared already to get busy in there.
At the ground floor you have a couple of booths and this cool area with looks like a library that even has a fier place (don't worry there is no fier burning it's still dubai).
When you walk up the stairs you have a couple of high tables in front of the bar plus some more seating along the wall. You also have a cool classic pool table and a dart board.
We had a couple of beers and also the chips and curry plus the chicken BLT. Now let me tell you it was the best CHICKEN BLT I've tasted in a very long time (maybe even the best one). It's a piece of breaded chicken one grilled and PORK BACON. They also put this like harissa mayo on it which gives it just the right kick.
The staff is super friendly and makes a professional expression to me. Also the manager in there (Benny I think his name is) is super friendly and a good guy to chat to.
All in all it's simple a cool English pup I I know for sure I be back soon again for more food and beers.
A nice and a british style pub... Looks very classy and elegant
It is a 2 story pub and with a bar counter on each floor
Few of us just went to grab some beers and a cocktail
One of our friends had A cocktail called The Bramble it is Gin mixed with lemon and berries.. Was something new and different
