Do not attempt to think of going even if it’s the last resort in life.
I strongly believe the chef is under qualified or the restaurant is just careless about food quality and taste. Below were the options offered and none is fairmount level.
I’m not able to explain how bad the food taste. The chef should resign as this is one of my worst experiences. Dessert was disaster too.
The only good thing about the place is the staff very helpful and polite. And few sushi items were acceptable.

Superb restaurant and service. It was like being in a club in london. Music was great. Dark and clubby atnosphere with the great views of dubai marina in the background. Food was to die for. Highly recommend and as always the service was outstanding.

Das Restaurant hat ein tolles Ambiente, das Personal ist überaus freundlich und sehr aufmerksam. Das Essen ist reichhaltig und absolut lecker. Einziger Minuspunkt für die recht laute Musik, hatte schon fast Disko-Lautstärke. Wir würden gern wiederkommen. Sehr empfehlenswert.

Sublime food and at the Bold Brunch there’s lots to taste and admire. Theatrical, vibrant and superb dishes - particular favourites were the Spicy Beef Bao Buns, seared tuna and (surprisingly) the rice pudding with mango sorbet!
Can’t wait to return.

Our first visit and what a fabulous night. Zyaira was our waitress and she was amazing. The food, service, music, ambience was first class. Definitely a hidden treasure on the Palm Jumeirah

We ordered a couple of Mocktails that were of good quality.<br/>For food we had Crab 🦀 taco 🌮, seared tuna, duck spring rolls and Korean fried chicken, which were all tasty and well made.<br/>Great dinner over all. I would like to see some more innovations with alcohol free drinks and a tea menu would have been better than writing a selection of tea and coffee.

We are vegan/vegetarians and were bit skeptical to come here but to our surprise the food was great mapo tofu is a must have. Vegetable fried rice, oyster sauce(vegetarian) mushroom and broccoli and mushroom bun were super. Definitely worth trying. Only needs more vegan options for future, rest including service was great.

Just had a fabulous meal here tonight ! Reminded me of the delicious meals I had in Taipei and Singapore. Authentic Chinese food. Good service , elegant decor and a fabulous DJ! We will be back !

Fabulous!<br/><br/>Had an amazing meal in Ba this evening. We are spending a week on Fairmont The Palm on a Half Board basis. Really delighted that this amazing restaurant forms part of the package. We visited a a family of 4, 2 adults 2 children. Our server (I didn’t note his name!) was lovely, very attentive but not in your face, had great suggestions for cocktails and menu options and made our evening brilliant.<br/><br/>We didn’t feel rushed or to made feel any less important because we were half board. If we have another evening spare we will be returning this holiday ;-)<br/><br/>

We found this restaurant via google and can only confirm all the positive comments. Very nice interior, comfortable bar with live DJ. Dinner was excellent, very wide choice of dishes. Above all, the service of staff is excellent.

During the dinner I noticed she was doing beyond expectation to serve us on the highest level. My mom was amazed with the level of service . An old favorite is back - but with a twist! Ba Restaurant and Lounge has returned to the upper ground floor level, serving a delicious array of modern Asian cuisine, including sushi, noodles, large and small sharing plates within a sumptuous casual lounge and bar style setting.<br/>We went to the Ba at the Fairmont and requested a table with a view- it couldn’t have been much better! Beautiful surrounding looking into the sea view garden. The service was to the highest standard, staff so friendly and attentive and really wanted us to have the best experience. The food was incredible and could not have been faulted! Highly recommend!

Great view, dj playing great lounge music and excellent food and service<br/>The rameen, buns and stir fry is well executed. No need to try to hard if you get the basics right.<br/>Overall good experience and this place is gonna go miles!!!

We went here for a celebratory dinner. The ambience is really nice and gives a good vibe. The food is good although it’s nothing that’ll blow your mind. Our food was a bit starchy which usually isn’t the case in a fine dine restaurant. I expected a bit more innovative menu but it was basic and slightly dull. The restaurant was kind enough to give us mocktails with a celebration message which really looked amazing and tasted great !! Overall a good meal !

It’s nice that BA restaurant is finally reopened. Lovely ambiance and good music. Attentive service .Enjoyed the food, especially the tuna tacos were yummy, but didn’t like the maki rolls that much , too much rice and quite dry. The duck wasn’t cooked properly, but by our request, they made it more cooked. Overall a lovely restaurant , good for groups and family, great view of Dubai marina.

Long awaited come back and craving satisfied! Ba is serving pan asian fare of exceptional quality sushi and sashimi, dim sum and bites, tempura, wok and main dishes. Highly recommended are PMI roll, beef tartar, crispy pork belly, bbq ribs, black pepper beef and miso cod. <br/>Great cocktails, imported beers, excellent selection of wine and hibiki to finish of the beautiful dinner.<br/>Stunning views of the sea with glittering backdrop of marina skyline, spot on service and well executed authentic delights - looking forward to come back for another great dining experience.
