Visited Netsu on a Monday evening. I liked the ambiance, light and spacious. The service was very attentive and fast. Ordered edamame, fried squid, wagyu gyoza, Korean fried chicken and tiger prawn tempura. Gyoza and Korean fried chicken recommended. We then shared 4 maki rolls (calif, unagi, soft shell crab, spicy tuna). All was yummy. Had 5 glasses of wine and couple of GT. Ended up with around AED 1100 or so for 4 people. They had some interesting Japanese steak but we haven’t tried any this time. All in all, I liked Netsu and would be back to try the grill.
Tasty food and friendly staff
Definitely worth coming back
So amazing. A date night for us. And the service is beyond compare. Max is the absolute man. Go for the sharing menu. Costs quite a bit but you will never regret it
Food is good, but the service is great, the server (Max) was very friendly, helpful and quick, he helped with the menu and suggested the best things in the menu. He deserves a 5 stars by himself.
Thank you
the food is delicious worth it
This was my first visit bro this restaurant . I really enjoyed the food and the ambience . Would definitely come back to this place again and recommend it to my friends
Netsu Brunch - Excellent Service, good atmosphere, tasty sharing menu. My favourite was miso eggplant, lamb chops, sashimi selection and the dessert tower. #japanese #friday #sake #kanpai #outdoorseating #mandarinoriental #dubai #jumeirah #mar2020
We ordered wagu beef with mushrooms, sushi , seaweed salad and a couple of Mocktails.
The sushi and seaweed salad was excellent.
The Wagyu beef was good, but I am not sure if it was worth over 500 dhs and an additional 50 dhs for a side of mushrooms. Mocktails were of very high standard.
Absolutely loved the food. What an amazing place.
Was a wonderful experience. The food is delicious. Super friendly environment. The staff is very inviting. Would definitely recommend this gem.

First time trying Netsu in the Mandarin Oriental, actually it was our first time trying any restaurant in the newly opened Jumeirah hotel and we absolutely fell in love with the food.
The ambience was lovely as we sat outside while a variety of hip-hop music played in the cool December air.
The staff and service were exceptional, very attentive when it came to our dislike of the dessert and also brought over a light to help us order from the menu as it was quite dark outside.
🍽 The food:
We ordered four dishes and dessert: starting in order of appearance we began with the yellowtail tiradito which was topped with a citrusy sauce which matched the melt-in-the-mouth fish perfectly!
Next up, wagu beef gyoza, perfectly steamed with a delicious filling which was actually filled properly which was accompanied by a soy like sauce which was topped over the dish by our waiter before we began eating.
NOW the star of the show and of course a must order when you choose to dine at a Japanese, the sushi platter. Opted for soft shell crab roll, spicy tuna and the classic of shrimp tempura maki, also opted for hamachi and tuna sashimi. Everything was perfectly fresh with a take on the classic rolls that we ordered with a variety of toppings including spicy mayo and breadcrumbed rice. With a large selection of rolls and fresh fish on their menu, you will definitely be struggling to decide what to order and no tummies will ever be empty by the end of this feast.
Lastly, the tenderloin steak, does exactly what it says on the tin ! The most tender and juiciest piece of meat you could order and you definitely could not go to a Japanese steakhouse without ordering a fat piece of meat. Accompanied with three sauces my personal favourite was the bbq red one, pictured in the middle of the three sauces.
Ending the meal with their famous cheesecake, unfortunately did not live up to expectations. Was not fluffy at all, probably due to being baked, and with hardly any biscuit base, I would definitely miss this off your list of things to order if ever visiting Netsu.
Overall a wonderful meal and will definitely be going back soon to try a few more of their dishes and of course to have a repeat of their delicious sushi.
Everything was great both food and ambiance, the only thing i didn’t like was that the waiters were insisting that we take the most expensive dishes in the menu, without recommending the other dishes.
Extremely friendly staff and very helpful with explaning the menu and how food is served ,the spicy seabass was excellent but the portion could be improved ,the wagyu beef shortrib was also on point. Will definately visit againg to try all items
Exquisite Japanese food in the very gorgeous and newly build hotel in Jumeirah. Admitting that this is not genuine and real Japanese but I have never seen that foreign Japanese restaurant imitates Warayaki to this high extent. Good hospitality and really sophisticated Gin Tonic with Japanese Gin ROKU.
Rating the food and ambience. Food was amazing and the restaurant is really nice. My favourite dish was the US tenderloin, with mustard sauce. Would go back for that dish. Our waiter wasn’t very professional and wouldn’t take the orders we want as he wanted to push us to order the more expensive dishes. We had to repeat our order 4 times to get him to accept them. It was frustrating speaking with him. Otherwise it would have been a perfect evening if he hadn’t been so pushy and forcing himself into our personal conversations.
Excellent service and excellent food
Thanks to Joey we are very happy..we definitely comeback again for dinner looking forward to seeing you again Joey
Loved the atmosphere and food. All dishes were delicious and would definitely come back. Quite pricey but good for big groups of people to share food. The dessert platter was fun/lots of variety.
Had a great meal at Netsu - tried various different starter dishes all were great and exceptionally tasty. Had the striploin for main, superb. I skipped dessert but my wife had the doughnuts.....OMG best ever. All in all had a very pleasant evening. Some people have commented on the bad service, we experienced the exact opposite, service was great. We had booked to go to Zumba for my son’s 20th birthday, based on our experience at Netsu we have canceled Zumba and booked Netsu.
Wonderful and elegant set up with a pleasant ambience. Netsu is located in the new Mandarin Oriental hotel and has lived up to its standards. The interior decor is simple and not too loud. The downstairs restaurant area transmits elegance and good vibes while the upstairs bar area is more alive with cosy sofa seatings, dark lighting and a Dj playing mostly on the weekends. The food quality is good and the service was great ! Special mention to the bartender Kumar. It was a pleasure talking to you.
a nice fusion of different cuisines - I liked the ambiance of the restaurant and the hotel is really pretty!
I would definitely go there again - if you have visitors in Dubai it is a good option too
A nice alternative Japanese restaurant in Dubai. Lovely venue and some alternate sushi selections (vs Zuma and others) which were delicious. If you live Japanese and want to try a new venue that doesn’t disappoint then Netsu should be your next stop!
Highly recommended, super delicious food must do reservations before go, we like their maki , nigiri, must try their seabase fish wagyu in dish ribeye but I didn’t like their cheesecake
The new hyped place in Dubai.
Loved everything i ordered: wagyu gyoza, soft shell crab, prawn tempura, salmon roll, California roll and the ginger dates cake.
The place is fun and casual, the staff are always there for you.

They do serve different kinds of grills, sushi and platters. Loved many creative things in the restaurant like the simple menu, decor and ofcourse the opened kitchen. Stunning interior designs and atmosphere! Overall great experience and amazing service. Surely coming back again!

Great job Mandarin
Chilean Seabass
الذرة المشوية Grilled Corn
الدجاج الكوري Korean Chicken
