It is a new place. Very friendly staff. Very good options and good quality food. Prices are ‘average’ for a Dubai Mall food outlet. The Ayran was below average and very light. Will try it again for different type of meal. مطعم تركي جيد و خدمة متميزة. الاكل جيد جداً و أسعاره فوق المتوسط (مثل معظم مطاعم دبي مول). اللبن كان تعبان و ممزوج مع الماء.

الصراحة اكلهم معروف تركي جميل جدا لكن الاسعار بعد مرتفعة جدا جدا لكن مرة مرتين لاجل المكان والفيو تجربة جميلة

Waiter was trying to push me add 10% tips from the total invoice,,always this happens there they try to push the client to add tips by asking several times..I think the management there leave them to do that specially with tourists ..really miserable behavior from staff there..

Super food and excellent service. Menu is full of perfect varieties. Ambience is very good. I would rate their food as one of the best Turkish restaurant in Dubai. Tried many dishes and all were tasty. Staff is very helpful. The only feedback to improve is the price, overall and in the current situation, prices are very high.

Amazing food and ambience ! The kebabs were tender and delicious !

I had chosen Günaydin for a dinner with a close family. I had booked the table early on to make sure I get the best table. They called me to confirm the same too. Once I reached I was welcomed by a pleasant lady and assisted me to the table. The view was spectacular, one of the best in and around downtown.

I was confused where to eat n souk al bhar and this struck my eyes and I was impressed by customer service offered by jenny . She had good knowledge and knew what we wanted to eat and gave us full description of food. The salad was simply amazing and kebabs was juicy and tender to eat.keep up the good work and not to miss their fast delivery and the view of the restaurant facing the fountain was cherry on the top.

Loved the food quality except the iskender kebab which was dry and meat was not fresh except that enjoyed the meal and hands off to the most amazing adana kebab (please improved ur quality to maintain standards in some item)

Expensive but good food. For the price the taste deserves a 3. Service was also slow but servers were ofcourse polite.. heard their dry aged steak is best. However tried normal rib eye and it was quite good but nothing out of the ordinary that deserves at 300dhs price tag. Adana kabab was smelly n not that great.. hence 3 rating

The quality and variety of food is getting worse year after year. I’ve been there for last two Ramadan so i have had a chance to compare now:<br/><br/>230 AED for an Iftar is acceptable if you consider its prime location. Last year it was like 210 or sth. <br/><br/>They charge you extra for all drinks except local water and tea.<br/><br/>The amount of starters like, cheese, honey, milk-cream, jam, are not sufficient if you go for 5+ people. Same amount is served whether you go for two people or six people.<br/><br/>We had to beg people to bring more tea, i think tea is also going to be charged extra next year. <br/><br/>My overall rating is 3 out of 5. <br/>

saltbae-like serving for the Dry Aged Dallas Fillet was a plus, the meat was tender and juicy. cooked Medium as ordered and did not disappoint, mouth watery and tasty. bread was fresh-baked and hearty. ambience was relaxing and the reception was welcoming. would have rated higher stars but the service was mediocre. me and my wife felt like the servers were on a hurry. asked if I were done but server was already holding my plate, asked if my wife was done but server has already opened the wet tissue pack. c'mon team, we know you can do better than this.

They can be listed in the top Turkish food places in Dubai. Everything was great in my visit to Gunaydin. Food, customer service, atmosphere and not to forget the amazing view of Dubai Mall fountain! Definitely a place to visit with zero concerns from my side.

Best location in Dubai Mall to watch the light show. Food is excellent, service is excellent and quite fast, all staff is very friendly. Definitely worth the price yoy pay. Recommend you make reservation as it is quite busy.

Nice ambience. Staff was courteous and service was prompt. The Turkish hummus was amazing .I had chicken and lamb kebabs for main courde.They we're delicious .

Great place for meat lovers...the menu is huge so you may need some help to order the right stuff that you like and i highly recommend the sheshlek kabab and their sujuk

The place itself is very nice however prices advertised on Zomato are not updated. Breakfast set menu costs 120 aed and not 75 according to Zomato. We arrived here and were surprised with the price difference.this of course affected the experience itself as expectation should match reality.

This place is quite unique and authentic. I felt as if I was in Turkey, and it was amazing. Loved the fact that most of the staff was Turkish and well trained! The food was super fresh and tasty. It’s a bit pricey, but I would still recommend it to anyone.

I went to Gunaydin for the first time last week although i have been wanting to try it for a while. I would say the experience was good, and you get authentic turkish food with a variety of flavorful dishes. My only concern, and this is personal, is the amount of fat in the almost all the meat dishes. The service is very good and the view, cant wish for better

The location and the atmosphere is 5 stars , when it’s comes to food, there are many turkish food restaurants way better than this one , we waited for the food and it came cold!! When we inform the service guy he just took it back for 5min to heat and brought it back, was still cold lol, anyway for that price you can get better quality food in the area, not going back there for sure

I really wanted to give this restaurant a higher rating since I enjoyed the meat and the kofta we tried without forgetting the excellent desserts however I was a bit disappointed with the lukum beef we ordered, it should be presented almost raw and cooked live next to us, however it was presented cooked and warm not even hot. If we relatively compare the prices to the service we can easily say that service was less than average, Mc Donald’s have a better customer approach.

With seating outside with a view of the fountains, a good place to take visitors to Dubai. Really good service, they really go the extra step to take care of your needs and special orders. The best thing to try is their grilled lamb shoulders - nicely cooked with a good rub of sea salt brings out the flavor in the meat. Do try the katmer for desert - really good. Would give it a 4 for the lamb shoulder and katmer

From the time Gunaydin opened in Souk Al Bahar, I always wanted to visit them but being a vegetarian, never set foot there as it is a meatery. But all that changed last week when I visited them to try their newly launched vegetarian and vegan dishes. Yes, big thumbs up to Gunaydin for including the new dishes and now vegetarians and vegans have another amazing restaurant to visit in Dubai.

This is by far, the best steak place in Dubai. The meat is so beautifully cooked, I just can't describe it. Tender, flavorful and literally orgasmic. I really thought I'd died and gone to butcher heaven. It's one of those places that are truly worth the hype. Be prepared to part with a generous portion of your money though. But trust me when I say you're not going to regret it.<br/>We had the mixed grill, lokum meat, beef fillets, and one of the best desserts I've had in a long time. Katmer. I'd go back just for that. Their service is impeccable as well. The waiters are extremely efficient and helpful.

After a summer hiatus, Günaydin in Souk al Bahar recently relaunched their amazing Turkish breakfast, which is available from 8:30am to 12:30pm every Friday and Saturday. In fact, Günaydin actually means “good morning” in Turkish, which is a bit random considering they’re known as a steakhouse and butchery, but far more befitting when you visit for breakfast.

If you are craving Turkish cuisine and if you love having Breakfast, you can go and try the Breakfast of Gunaydin, a Turkish Restaurant located at Souk Al Bahar. The food was good but I felt the quantity was a little less for the price being charged. The server was friendly and patient to explain what each dish was if at all you have any doubts. Overall it was lovely experience☺️

Gunaydin is one out of two of our most favourite steak joints in Dubai. Hands down. Their grilled steak and kebaps are otherworldly. Go there RIGHT NOW if you haven’t. Please. Tulum Peynirli Salata (lettuce salad with tulum cheese, walnuts, golden sultanas - tasty, but the portion is MASSIVE for only two people to share...don’t order this unless you have more than 3 people OR if it’s somebody’s main...)<br/><br/>3. Buhara Pilavi (special Turkish rice - sweet tomato based flavour, lots of peas - not our type of rice dish. Pass.)<br/><br/>4. Rib Eye Steak from the Grill (cooked medium, MOST AMAZING DISH FROM GUNAYDIN! Mind. Bloooooown. So juicy, beautiful grill marks, perfectly seasoned, tender and just the right amount of fat. In the heart of Souk Al Bahar, located in nice place with view of fountain, in evening time is so relaxing 😌, Adana Kebab is very delicious same as in Turkey, service is good, but your fruit salad is really big portion for 2 people is more than enough! Highly recommended !

BUT whats up with the quantity and price!!<br/>Like you have nothing special than your competitors and you get for people one skewers ok Kofta, or any grilled option.. and for the price of 1 KG of meat at any other Turkish place on town.<br/><br/>We ordered different dishes appetizers and sweets, all are normal. nothing wrong with the food but for sure nothing very special. <br/><br/>It wont be my place to go when i am craving Turkish food and great meal

Horrible service. I came here to celebrate my husbands birthday and they did not accommodate one bit. I arrived there at 11:00 pm ... their last order is at 11:30 and even though they close at 12am, they had told us over the phone that it was no problem if we were finishing up with dinner and stayed a little later. I ordered and received my food by 11:30. At that time I requested to order a dessert cake which required 15 min prep but apparently the chef had already left. I then settled for a another dessert that they could give me and requested for them to write happy birthday on the dessert plate which they agreed to but then did not do it. The waiter and manager were arguing with us on any requests and complaints. Basically brought the check out 5 min after they served us dinner saying they needed to close up. We felt rushed and the birthday celebration was ruined. I would never come back here and would not recommend this place to anyone.

Heard good things about this place but never had an opportunity to go until a few days ago. The ambiance is nice, I lived the fact that you get a kitchen view from pretty much anywhere.<br/><br/>We ordered the food and the food arrived in good time. Our wait Serkan was very good. However, I found that in his absence, it was very difficult to get the attention of other staff in the restaurant... Even if you call them when they go by your table. They generally need to be a lot more attentive.<br/><br/>The food itself was good but definitely didn't meet expectations... As I think other Turkish restaurants in the city could have an edge at a lower price level.<br/><br/>We ordered some of their popular dishes. The meat quality was good and the food was cooked well too. However, the flavors could have been a bit more prominent.. Felt a bit too bland compared to other Turkish restaurants in the city.<br/><br/>Overall, didn't find anything that would make me go back.

Ordered Günyadin Spesiyal 2 kisilik(sort of mixed grill) , hummous, cheese pride(Chesse Manakeesh) & Günyadin Burger. Loved the meat, spices were great, cooked well. The food was spot on. It's on the expensive side.<br/><br/>We were seated near windows facing the foundation, it was quite warm. The waiters seemed to be in a rush to get the plates in and out of the table; different waiters would come either to take the plates or pour some water every 5-8 mins, which would invariably interrupt our conversations with each other. Can't say I enjoyed the service. The experience felt very rushed.<br/><br/>Also, I had booked a table for 4, two weeks prior. Surprisingly my name wasn't on the reservation list although I had called the day before to confirm.<br/><br/>Again, food was great a bit pricey, but I'd suggest trying it out :D<br/><br/>

Isa is a very good staff. Funny and cool. Food are fresh. Definitely worth paying for. Location is good. Staff are friendly and food taste really good. Will come back again.

However, I enjoyed being able to witness this place in person as it is a well known name that has over 40 restaurants across Turkey. I can see from my visit that this place does so well here in Dubai.<br/><br/>My guest was having a great time enjoying all of the different cuts of meat, but I could only enjoy the vegetarian cold mezze and a smoked eggplant salad for my main course as the choices for vegetarians was very limited.<br/><br/>The acili ezme was a chili tomato dip with pepper and onions and this was a nice starter. I found it best with the bread but it would have been better if the flavours of the chili stood out more.<br/><br/>The palican salatasi was the barbecued eggplant salad which was what I had as my main course. The eggplant had a lot of the smoked flavours to it and I didn’t really enjoy that too much.<br/><br/>Finally, I had the sultac for dessert which was a Turkish rice pudding. This was my favourite and most enjoyable dish that I had all dinner. The rice pudding was creamy and not too sweet.<br/><br/>This restaurant deserves a rating of 3/5.<br/><br/>I ordered the acili ezme for 25DHS, palican salatasi for 25DHS, humus for 25DHS, palican soslu for 30DHS, and the sutlac for 30DHS.<br/><br/>The pricing of the dishes here was decent.<br/><br/>The service was excellent with the manager taking really good care of us. He was able to try to find alternatives for me because I could not eat anything from the menu.<br/><br/>The ambience of this restaurant was modern and I was actually sad to see the hanging animals that were on display for butchering. This is part of my pescatarian lifestyle and I suggest for vegetarians and vegans to avoid looking at this part of the restaurant. This is a place for meat lovers and despite that, I loved the outdoor seating where you can enjoy the view of the Burj Al Arab and the Dubai water fountain show right in front of you.

Gunaydin has got to be my favorite restaurant in downtown. The ambience, decor and vibe of the restaurant is just phenomenonal. How much I loved the good I can't even tell you. I had the fattoush salad and humus with their freshly baked bread as starters. Everything was great. For mains we had the kasap lofted and kuzu tandir. The meat was so tender and soft and juicy. I'd go back every single time just for that. A must try restaurant for meat lovers. Outstanding service too.

Hersey cok guzeldi gunaydin kalitesini tam anlamiyla hissettik. Ailem ve misafirlerimle gecirdigimiz bu guzel iftar yemegi icin gunaydin ekibine tesekkur ederim. Ayrica sorumlu Tolga beye de bu guzel aksam icin tesekkur ederim.

Came here for a casual meal. We were met and greeted well, came in to a cosy ambience and seating as well. <br/><br/>Ordered the Doner kebabs as our main dish and after ten minutes after taking the order, we were told that the Doner was over- this was at 9 PM on a Friday! Was very disappointed on this bit. <br/><br/>And then we had to replace our order with Adana kebabs instead which came at an exorbitant price for just one kebab- didn’t find the value for money although the flavours were good. <br/><br/>Full credit to their hummus and piddeh however overall experience was not up to the mark.

Awesome authentic turkish foods. <br/><br/>We ordered pomegranate salad, vine leaves, alinazik kebab and lamb sote.<br/><br/>The staff (Isa and Serkan) were amazingly great and friendly.<br/><br/>Really recommended and will come for other dishes.

Superb location to enjoy the fountain show and projection mapping show of Burj Khalifa. Depending on the seat, the view is more spectacular than what you can get in Abd El Wahab. Rocket salad and bread were nice. Gunaydin special was also nice but a little tasteless.

Don't miss the turkish tabag of breakfast here...directly from heaven..I'd rather gunaydin breakfast options to it's main courses, however the variety of kebabs are good as well..best view of fountain and burj Khalifa..

My husband felt like eating Turkish food so we decided to go to Gunaydin. We ordered appetizers the grilled eggplant loved it. The sausage was very good over all was very good.

Points lost to the fact that nobody attended to us for the first 45mins while we were seated and mind you, we were seated in the middle of the restaurant. Food is fresh and quite delicious, however a lot needs to improve with the service.

Absolutely amazing all around. The food was delicious and fresh. The donor meat was unbelievable and probably one of the best I've tried in Dubai. The prices were great and the ambience was amazing. The best part of this restaurant besides the food was the service. The staff was so friendly and even though they were busy they still managed to get me the table I wanted outside. I highly recommend this restaurant as it's five stars.

Loved this restaurant located at Souk Al Bahar downtown with beautiful views of Dubai Mall & Burj Khalifa - Ambience is WOW<br/><br/>Being a vegetarian i was in double mind to go to this place or not but i was wrong. They have some great veg options and the best Cheese pie ever. Turkish Hospitality is amazing and the dessert is mind blowing. Loved it and totally recommend it !!

Had a yummy weekend breakfast with friends at gunaydin, a famous Turkish meatery located at the heart of Downtown Dubai. It brought me back the memories of Istanbul and my love for Turkish food. The place has an awesome view of Burj Khalifa and Dubai Mall, the staff are very friendly and food was delicious as expected.

The location of this place is outstanding, especially outside area in front of the fountain and lake.<br/>The breakfast package have quite enough collection, the price is similar to other Turkish restaurants in town for the breakfast meal. The food quality is good, the service is fast and friendly. The manager had visited our table couple of times.<br/>Will try to visit Güneydin for dinner or lunch.

My love for Turkish food has led me deep into the touristy area of Dubai and for good reason. Gunaydin has built a solid reputation for itself. We ordered a bunch of starters, a steak, and two desserts, including the legen—wait for it—dary baklava. Really hard to fault anything at this place from the food to the ambience to the service so they get a solid 5 in my book. They’re equivalently priced though so come with an open mind and an open cheque 🤑

FoodDubai101 @ Instagram<br/><br/>Having heard that Gunaydin started Turkish breakfast on weekends, I was excited and visited here with friends at first availability.<br/>Gunaydin did not disappoint me with the breakfast (AED 105); for me currently they are one of the best with the variety of tastes and the quality of the products.<br/>White cheese which is the integral component of a Turkish breakfast was exceptional. Sogus (tomatoes and cucumber), simit, variety of jams and butter, pide (special pita bread), black and green olives were all great in taste. We ordered sucuklu yumurta (eggs with soujouk), that was nice as well. They serve unlimited tea free of charge which is a classical Turkish hospitality.<br/>Having been seated outdoors by the fountain and Burj Khalifa view, it was very relaxing and the weekend fountain show was the bonus.<br/>Definitely Gunaydin is trending up on my list for weekend breakfasts.

This is the best Turkish cuisine i have ever tried. Specially for meat lovers omg!! The atmosphere and the meat shows that they do is just amazing!! And the star of the restaurant the chef Muhammed Yahya made the experience of unforgettable!!! Entering Gunaydin can only be described as a Carnivores dream. <br/><br/>We were initially seated inside, however as soon as we requested to be seated outside so as to enjoy the fountain and laser show, despite being completely packed, they accommodated our request and we were outside within 2 min.<br/><br/>We ordered the following for 3 people:<br/><br/>1- mixed green salad with tulum cheese<br/>It had a great mix of sweet and tart. The raisins in the dish added a great extra touch. <br/><br/>2- platter of tulum cheese<br/>Tasted great with the hot bread that was served alongside it. <br/><br/>3- Gunaydin Special for 2<br/>This dish can only be described as a show in itself. The way they cut the meat, set the sizzler on fire and served the food was indescribable. The atmosphere this dish created was amazing and the meat itself was extremely tender (as it should be being cooked in that much butter) <br/><br/>4- Mixed grill for 2<br/>In the mixed grill we received 2 lambchops, 1 kebab, 5 lamb pieces and 6 pieces of chicken. <br/>Imo opinion the lambchops were a little dry. <br/>The kebab was delicious and took Centre stage of the dish. The meat was soft and had a great flavor to it. <br/>The lamb pieces were so soft that even when the dish became cold, it was so easy to cut through. <br/>I will not give an opinion on the chicken as I did not try it. <br/><br/>Our waiter Isa was probably one of the funniest people we've met and he made the meal a lot more enjoyable. <br/><br/>We wanted to order baklava for desert, however Isa convinced us to order Katmer instead. <br/><br/>I really enjoyed the fact that dish was not overtly sweet. The pastry was nice and flaky and the tasted great with the i cream which was rolled into the middle. <br/><br/>The desert in my opinion was a great end to the meal and really tied it all together. <br/><br/>Definitely a revisit! <br/><br/>

Gunaydin a meat shop turned to this bewildering spot for all those Turkish food lovers.<br/>This was our introduction to the Turkish cuisine and it was one hell of a introduction.<br/>One of the dishes we tasted was the Lahmancun (try saying that 10 times), which is a kind of Turkish pizza and was perfection in disguise. Lahmacun is basically bread layered with perfectly seasoned chopped lamb and is served with fresh herbs and lemon.<br/>The dish was perfectly balanced. The<br/>freshness of the herbs complimented the spicy mince perfectly. We can now ofically say that we both are MASSIVE Turkish food fans "Lunch with a view" is something we are massive fans off. Throw in an outdoor seating arrangment and a great view and we're sold. Food 5/5 definitely anything u order is different, tasty,<br/>Special till the extent that u will remember the taste till the next day. Any cold or hot appetizers are worth ordering more then one. Meals are consistent and can be shared. Bread is exeptionel <br/>Service 3.5/5 slow at the beginning accelerated eventually, but in such a dining out place you expect the manager or anyone to double check with you if everything is OK and you like the food, but let's say they were super busy, still fast. <br/>Ambiance 4/5 nice just in front of the fountains, the hostesses tries their best to accommodate you the seat that you like.<br/>Cleanliness 1/5 unfortunately disappointed floor was not very clean, table next to us had broken glass under and liquids, lavatories were in a mess and missing items.<br/>Overall the meat deserves to give the place another chance.

Delicious meat, very good service and lovely location. Wide range of choices on the menu, authentic Turkish dishes and very good meat. Highly recommend the kebab, steak and burger. Salads are good and desserts delicious! A little on the expensive side but the meat is super good quality so definitely good value for money.

This is no place for vegetarians. Gunaydin is a proper meatery with an amazing selection of meats and cuts at a high quality. I very rarely eat meat and when I find a place with quality cuts I enjoy it. We ordered the muhammara, minik etli pide (the small turkish style pizza), I had the spicy lamb kebabs (not super spicy but definately big on flavour) while my friend ordered the lamb chops which he thoroughly enjoyed. Service was good, kitchen looked amazing with its open concept and fresh meats and produce on display. It gets busy quickly so I highly recommend making a reservation especially if you want to sit outside to be able to enjoy the fountains. Of course there are also vegetarian options available but you don't really come to a meatery for its veggies do you?

This is a brilliant place serving Turkish cuisine and definite deserves a visit. I ordered for the avocado salata and the Chicken Shawarma doner. Speechless!!!

Great quality food, tasty and great location, but it comes at a price. The pistachio and ice cream dessert was not worth the money but good to experience the show.
