Was looking for a French place to bring my mom for a date since we cancelled our Paris trip because of this pandemic. Im glad i choose this place! Servers are so welcoming upon entering. To make it clear for first timers like me, they have a second floor as well, but if you like breakfast food or quick food only with pastries you better stay down as it is only served on the first floor. Otherwise, the second floor serves a more expensive dishes, lunch meals or dinner meas with alcohol or a night out. I stayed down as i missed eating authentic onion soup and french toast(they are served only down) and it is very very very good! Croissants and pastries are also very very good. To finish this, i was very happy choosing this place for brunch! My mom had a great time and wanted to come back again!!! French toast is the bomb!

We enjoyed a lovely early breakfast at La Serre Boulangerie this morning. Awesome selection of dishes especially if you are a fan of Benedicts, great service provided by Leo/Angel who looked after us throughout our stay and made sure we have a memorable one.
Also, previous Wednesday we attended their Mademoiselle night in Bistro Chic on the first floor and we left truly impressed and amazed by the vibes in there.The offerings were beautifully presented that i was thinking this dish is too pretty to eat. Pss from starters i loved the cured "Salmon" with coriander and pickled beets and from mains the 'Sea Bas" in asparagus and lobster sauce is to die for.
Compliments to their cool DJ likewise, who was playing some of my favourite and most popular tracks.

It is a great place to hang out for the girls night out or a date. The ambiance is very elegant, with attention to detail. The food is delicious, fusion style. The dj in Casablanca event was astonishing. I felt like I am back in the south of France. Thank you for that beautiful experience. I am looking forward to coming back

Fantastic place, it’s Parisian style restaurant with great views, located in Dubai Downtown, if you like luxurious ambient and sophisticated food tasting you should definitely visit this place.. my recommendation is their steak.. so delicious.. We visited during their Saturday brunch, great selection of food and free flowing drinks.. especially French white wine.. big thanks to their staff Naz and Geff who made our stay even more fabulous.. :)
We ordered the fried calamari, truffle gnocchi and apple/blueberry crumble and all were 10/10! Lovely environment and it’s a place off my Dubai bucket list. Shoutout to Jeff our waiter who was a blast; professional and friendly! He helped our night run as smoothly as possible. Definitely recommend.

We took our dog for a walk in Burj park and we stopped for lunch at La Serre afterwards. What a pleasant experience! We were allowed to sit outside and given a doggy bowl of water along with some food for our girl.
The meal was delicious and the service was top class.

French cuisine has to be one of my favorites, this place serves amazing dishes: Penne al Arrabiatta - their tomatoes tastes fresh! Lentil salad, even their white pasta tastes heavenly. Great place for breakfast too love their Eggs Benedict!
Our server Naz was ah-mazing ! Made the experience really special. He was really attentive and made great recommendations! Gonna be back soon.
Came here with mom and sis for breakfast. I must say, we have had the best french toast here. With the caramelized sugar on top (creme brulee style) and the beautiful pudding like texture of the bread, it indeed is the best!!

For some reason we'd not managed to get around to La Serre even though we'd heard great reviews. Firstly, the ambience and the settings were nice, sophisticated but comfortable. The food was of a very high quality and tasteful, we had the sea bream and the lamb cutlets, and their rocket salad in pita bread was really good too. The sticky toffee pudding was a delight. Only small lapse was on service a couple of times when things asked for or some things picked up without checking. Other than those minor improvements, definitely a stand-out in Dubai's crowded dining scene and one of the few we can say we will be going back to out of the numerous openings in the last few years.
The ambience is always good. The food always tastes exceptional. The only this is that the food takes a while to come because it’s mostly crowded for dinner.

I visited La Serre last week to meet a friend for dinner. The food was absolutely on point. I ordered the black and white quinoa salad with grilled vegetables to start and then the grilled marinated prawns in rosemary as a main and both were scrumptious. The ambience was very chic, right down to the cutlery and tableware. You should definitely dress up for this venue (no jeans or t shirts). The view of the Burj and downtown is really stunning. I would say the only reason I didn’t give it 5 stars was one of the wait staff was using bad language audibly in the dining area, when I was waiting for my friend, whilst he was in conversation with another server. The place was a bit empty as it was early in the evening (7pm) but it’s always good for staff to be conscious of impressing guests. Otherwise, the staff were lovely and this is definitely a very nice place to visit for dinner.

Cant complain about anything. The food had the right flavors and I look forward to visiting again. Definitely recommend the burrata salad and lentil salad to start with. Also if youre a fan of escargot then do try that. Good food and ambience all around.

Went for breakfast and I must agree that they indeed serve the best breakfast in Dubai! Amazing variety- in love with their French toast & chicken sausage! And the Almond Croissant is something that I can eat every day, SO GOOD! Thank you for the amazing hospitality, La Serre!

This is one of the places we keep going me and my husband, it is a must. Our usual order: burrata, lentil salad, but this time we added the quinoa salad and grilled prawns with garlic sauce as starters. Main course; we shared salmon and potato gratin.
The dessert was choclate cake and vanilla ice cream.
La Serre is a Parisian-style cafe for breakfast and light meals with an upstairs restaurant for Mediterranean dishes. It is massive and has a chic setting. La Serre welcomes you with an oval swing decorated with vines that makes you feel you are entering a secret garden. La Serre’s most famous dish is their poached eggs. They have a lot of poached egg options but I ordered L’ avocat Benedicte de which has two poached organic eggs on toasted Campaillou bread with avocado. Served with smoked salmon and spinach. Hollandaise sauce on the side.
After watching the spectacular Burj khalifa fireworks on New Year, we went to sleep late but were woken up early by the little one. Still dazed we were in no mood to make anything so we decided to have brunch. We’ve been wanting to try this place so decided to head here. It seemed like everyone had stepped out for a New Year day brunch. The place was very crowded but luckily a table was available and we didn’t have to wait for it.
One of the best french cuisines I have visited in Dubai. The ambience is very cosy and light, staff is very friendly, attentive, social and the food is an experience on its own. I have only been for dinner a couple of times and it's pretty hard to recommend something in specific. They definitely have high standards for the food served, so it's really a matter of ordering whatever pleases your palette for that meal.
La serre bistro is super good! Special mention for the steak tartare but if you go late the bread is not fresh and when you visit a french restaurant you want to have some good baguette
Probably one of the best French restaurants I have ever visited in Dubai. Interior is very cozy and nice with whiteish design. And what amazed us the most was sirloin steak with fois gras which has rich and gorgeous taste. Just for tasting this sirloin steak with fois gras, this restaurant is worth visiting!

I have always found some of the dishes at La Serre to be amazing and some not upto the mark.
The burrata, truffle pasta and Veal Chops are top marks consistently.
I would however like warm bread, which would make all the difference.
One point to note, which I noticed with other diners as well, is that when the bill comes, the waiter insist on adding Tip. The bill already includes a service charge, municipality fees and Vat.
This makes it a very rude ending to an otherwise delightful evening.
Very nice place and cozy place in downtown dubai. Service and food are both great. We ordered watermelon salad, risotto and chicken club sandwish. All were delicious.
Writing too late after the visit but the taste of the dessert - chocolate brownie with orange zest hints and vanilla icecream, still lingers. Will go back for that. And it was made just then to be served to us. Fresh and warm, the dessert as well as the service.

I came here 4 times and Everytime I enjoyed it more than the previous time. The staff are so friendly and very helpful when selecting ur order. I love that smokers can go and smoke near the bar without having to leave out or disturb the non smoker on the table. I love the ambiance it's very stylish. Now the food!!! Yummy yummy yummy.
Best buratta cheese I ever had, we ordered almost everything from the appetizers and I can't stress enough they were all superb! The plating is just excellent. You feel the chefs put their heart into this!I plan to take my husband there on his birthday in December before an opera show perhaps. Highly recommended.
I always love coming back here, i have never been disappointed with the food here and its the perfect atmosphere for me a relaxed all white fine dine with a relaxed ambience. The food is just yum. My personal favorites for the starters i would have to say the burrata , foie gras patte , salmon tartare, snails , and the ceviche inside the coconut is just amazing. For the mains well i used to love the slow cooked short rib its a shame they took that off , but apart from that i would recommend the beef fillet with the foie gras , the lobster linguine, the veal chop , and the full baked fish. To finish off with the perfect dessert you should try their passionfruit cheesecake and creme brûlée . Just two thumbs up
One of the best places in Dubai for breakfast! Very French and has a huge variety of freshly baked pastry. They have valet parking available just next to the place which makes it so much easier for downtown.
We went here for a pre set menu and most of the items were incredible. I especially enjoyed the appetizers- lentil salad, watermelon feta, Burrata, onion tart etc. The lentil salad has hazelnut which is the most amazing combination ever! The mains were decent, I didn't enjoy quite as much and again desserts were delicious. Couldn't take photos except for the menu (250 per head)!
My forever favorite breakfast spot in Dubai. It opens so early in the morning, amazingly fresh pastries “plain croissants with butter and jam” , best eggs Benedict i tried here in dubai “egg Benedict with bacon and + truffle” and the french toast is just.........❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
Their truffle penne is hands down my favorite pasta dish in dubai. Other great dishes were the truffle pizza and the salmon tartare. Great meal!

Visited La Serre for lunch today. My friend and I had the set menu. As we don’t eat beef, the waiter - Leo, was kind enough to offer us the Burrata instead. The Burrata was creamy and definitely one of the best I’ve ever had! My friend and I tried frog legs for the first time. I guess you need to have an open mind for it. He enjoyed the frog legs; I wasn’t a fan but the herbs that it was cooked in tasted delicious with some bread. The onion tart was quite different from what we were expecting. It actually came in the form of a pizza. Didn’t enjoy it much as it was filled with caramelised onions and probably pure vegetarians would appreciate the dish more. For mains we ordered the baby chicken accompanied with mash potato and salmon. Can’t remember what it was called but the purée served below was outstanding - full of flavour! We were so stuffed half way through but I guess there’s always room for dessert! Ended our lunch on a sweet note - the famous creme brûlée lived upto my expectation and the mango cheesecake was extremely unique. Overall, it was a lovely lunch with a great ambience and we were extremely pleased with the service offered by Leo. Prices are slightly on the higher end but unlike any other fine dining restaurant I’ve visited, La Serre by far offered the best portions - worth every penny! In fact I wanted to pack some food for my parents but unfortunately the zomato gold offer wasn’t valid on take away. Will definitely visit again to try more items on the menu!
When you are in the mood for a very French breakfast or pastry this is the place. Very popular in Dubai. A good menu but very basic. For a truffle lover you will find your perfect breakfast like me.
Great overall French restaurant. This place does great breakfasts and equally great dinners. Breakfast outside during the cooler months is spectacular, the baked eggs is probably my favorite baked eggs in Dubai.
Amazing food! Loved the new pita salad on the menu. The truffle pasta was the best I have ever had. It is expensive but the taste and ingredients used makes it worth while! It’s my daughter and my date place ❤️
Really nice trendy cafe. Good location and gud ambiance. Ordered a watermelon salad, french toast,fresh fruit mocktails, chicken Kids meal and a cappuccino. Everything was delicious had a great time 😊
Good menu choice, and very well prepared food. I went on a friday morning and it was very busy. So be prepared to wait for a table. Interesting mix of customers, mainly adults and a couple of families.
The service was stressed due to the busy time, but the staff were polite. The menu options really were good, I haven't been to many places with anything similar for french breakfast. Worth a visit , I will be heading back to try out their lunch.
Finally visited one of my favorite places in downtown. Used to go there a lot for their incredible food.

I’ve been to this place lots of times and it’s absolutely amazing. The portion is pretty generous and the French toast is a must try. I had a almond croissant and hot chocolate for dessert, and both of them were great. After around ten minuets my food was at my table. The service is great, and the entire place is very clean. It’s a tiny bit expensive but that’s about the only problem. Overall, I think this is on the top best restaurants in dubai.
The buratta was delicious. We also got the salmon which was cooked perfectly. Service was good. For dessert we got the creme brulee which was perfectly cooked. Overall a good experience

I love this place! I absolutely love everything! Not a fan of beef, but the beef tartare was amazing! The burrata was so good too! The Fricassée de champignons was bursting with flavours! You won’t regret anything you order!
Had dinner upstairs is the Bistro, easy access close to Visa Hotel in Downtown. Beautiful and chic settings and décor. French cuisine at it best, tried the Sea Bass and Mushroom Risotto which was very rich. Dessert was amazing!
Nice place for business lunches , cozy enough for friendly gathering..id say the food is just OK , however their Benedict with salmon is my fav option for breakfast..overall a good Italian spot in town..

Dining at La Serre can be two very different, but, equally enjoyable experiences. Upstairs is the Bistro, slightly formal, European/ French cuisine with other influences; downstairs is the Boulangerie, casual Cafe/ Bistro kind of food.
Bistro: Simple, all white decor; big, beautiful windows inviting plenty of bright sunshine. Try to get a table by the window, especially if you are visiting for dinner as you get a beautiful view of Boulevard Road. The tables are spread out, making conversation easy. Professional but friendly service, extensive wine list and superb food. Definitely try the Celeriac Risotto with Black Truffle, Turbot Fillet with Caviar, Rigatoni with Black Truffle and the Lentil Salad. Delicious desserts such as Sticky Toffee Pudding, Passionfruit Cheesecake and the Gluten Free Chocolate Cake.
Boulangerie: More relaxed and casual than the Bistro upstairs. Tables are more close together and it can get quite noisy. Service is a bit slow sometimes. Superb cafe style food - salads, sandwiches, quiches, main courses as well, and a nice selection of desserts and vienoiserie from the counter. Must try the Chicken Club Sandwich, Croque Monsieur, Quinoa Salad with Passionfruit Dressing, Kouign Amann and the Vanilla Mille-Feuille from the pastry counter.
La Serre is definitely worth a visit, or several, either for a nice family dinner paired with wine, or a casual lunch downstairs with friends. Definitely try the desserts as pastries from the counter.
