One star for the decoration. Second star for the service. Upnormal meals but not wow and very expensive for normal ingredients. Will not come back again. نجمة للديكور ونجمة للخدمة. اطباق غير اعتيادية ولكن غالية جدا نسبة لمكوناتها. لن اعيد التجربة

This is the second time we have been there. We were also disappointed the first time we went but wanted to give them a second chance based on recent reviews on various websites. I really wish we hadn’t. First of all I really don’t understand why they categorize their food as Indian. They have about 3-4 Indian dishes, all of which we ordered and were disappointed with. We started with the bao buns which were dry with tasteless fillings. The lamb biriyani tasted of nothing and the butter chicken should have been called sugar chicken. Of course the worst thing is the ridiculous prices they charge for their food that’s difficult to swallow. I don’t mind paying for food when it’s worth it and this surely ain’t!

Well looking at the restaurant, I thought of booking a table for 9 people, They have sent me a link, where I have to provide my Credi card details and it’s mentioned AED 100 will be blocked for each person. For a moment I thought am I booking a flight ticket or a table for dinner! Anyways I disappointed and will never be there guest. That’s to hard, you have to trust your customers!

Amazing place with great ambience. They have indoor, outdoor and rooftop seating. Staff is courteous. Food is impressive. Would love to visit again!

Out of this world cuisine! I went there for Gin & Jazz which is every Monday night. Live stunning music, the food is global inspired Indian, and the package every Monday is 130 for unlimited gin based cocktails.

Without a doubt some of Dubai’s best cocktails! The interiors are stunning and very instagramable (even the restrooms are designed and worth a snap)!

Massive recommendation for anyone looking to be impressed!
Ramit Harisinghani
Even though we had a prior reservation they didn't want to give us the good tables. Not sure. Even the guests who arrived after us were given preference over us. One can only imagine why!! :) I would definitely not recommend anyone to go to this place unless you want to get insulted. Even the staff were chatting amongst themselves why the general manager of the restaurant wasn't giving the table to us. Thanks masti for spoiling our evening.
Foodbeat
The food is quite tasteless and I regret going with the set menu of AED 215. I thought it would be good variety of dishes but little did I know the food would be a complete disappointment. All of their main courses (biryani, butter chicken, quinoa tikki) had no taste. What is the point of focusing on presentation of food when the food is tasteless? I cook better Indian food at home.

The waiter was very good at collecting everyone's cash but forgot to return my change. It was only after I reminded him several times, he gave my change back. They were also clueless as to which package (alcoholic or non - alcoholic) each one had ordered

MASTI was a total disappointment. Food is a total disaster.
Hatim Shabbir
The food was just a disappointment. We had paid AED 295/- for their set menu but every dish was compromised & was a complete disappointment. The Veg biryani, butter chicken, quinoa tikki with lentils tasted horrible & definitely not worth the price. They had used poor quality of chicken.

The worst Indian food I have had in Dubai. The food was quite bland/ tasteless and I would not recommend Masti to anyone.

Went for a casual night out with a friend. Although the veg option was limited what they had was just perfect. The mango and avocado ceviche was something different yet amazing. The beetroot croquettes were made perfectly. Soft moist yet still crispy on the outside. Shared a vada pav burger which was delish! One of the best we’ve had in a long time.
Best thing was the shawl given as the ac was cranked up a little too high.
Couldn’t even here the Friday brunch chaos from upstairs.
Def one to go to again.
Culinary Circuit
Fantastic vibrant interiors and stunning food. Personal favorites paneer lasagne, butter chicken and sun dried tomatoes prawns. Loving the white wine baby doll at the moment. Once you have been once you will be booking your return.

My sister forbade me from telling the truth if the server asked how the food was so I decided to review the restaurant before leaving it, there is a fine line between creativity and delusion, take Indian recipes then add orange colored mayonnaise and sugar seems to be the Masti way, clearly the restaurant caters to the clueless. Avoid unless underwhelming fusion food is your thing. The burrata pizza was so bad we all spat it out on the first bite, felt like a punishment and tasted nothing like burrata. Our server was sweet but unfortunately our main course was sweeter. Gonna go home and fill up on some bananas lol

Masti has some really creative cocktails and I specially liked the spicy ones. I tried the mojito with the mango chutney which was really good but disappointed with their portions (there was mostly just ice in it and hardly any drink). Also, the food was really good but same issue- the portions are small. Do try the fiery prawns Kohliwada, they came highly recommended and I wasn’t disappointed. The ‘not your average chicken tikka’ was unfortunately quite average. The Smashed chaat roast potatoes were amazing ! Overall the food was really good but the portions are small and the place is highly overpriced. The service however was amazing, the food came really fast (could also be because the place was literally empty) and the music was good too. Thankfully the valet parking was free !

Masti. A fine dine Restuarant with amazing ambience and food.

Staff: Had been here couple a times, love the responsive staff and the communication. They give great suggestions from the menu and I love how they enjoy the work.

Ambience: A very pretty ambience with an amazing view. They have outdoor seating area on the 1st floor what I loved is the way they have used the wood as a pattern for their design. Best time to visit summer or winter doesn’t matter it still has great view and the same cozy comfortness.

Food: tried their paella, some appetizer. Everything was really good.

Visiting you guys soon again❤️

Food: 4/5
Service: 5/5
Ambience: 5/5

Overall: 4.5/5
Price: a little overpriced

Me and my friends been here for happy hours
Ordered butter chicken pizza, shrimps & tandoori chicken which was good.
Masti was zero masti for us. We went on Monday for happy hours. A group of 4 women. And it all went downhill the moment we walked in.
Empty restaurant, empty tables and yet the staff could not accommodate our request for a window side table, despite the one next to us being empty for the entire duration we were there. They claimed it was a table set for 5, which was strange since we booked a table for 6 and gave up a big table kindly enough since we were eventually just 4 of us ( not to mention that the table for 6 was finally given to 2 people). Even stranger since either of.the 2 tables could be set for 5 simply by swapping a chair.
Then came the server who refused to be courteous, point blank ignored when we requested for a recommendation and then another one who created a fuss about our happy hour drinks order. Let me explain...2 people on table ..4 drinks for us. The server insisted that we could not get happy hours on this as we were not 4 people on the table! See the pattern with the obsession on no of people! The manager finally came and confirmed that we could get the drinks on happy hour with the air of doing us a big favour.
You would assume that by now the 5star servers would have clued onto the fact that we were not happy with the service. So the solution was to.whisk our plates away before we could clear the last bite and within 2 mins pointedly ask us if we were going to order more.
Needless to say, given the amazing courtesy that ruined our evening out we called for the cheque and left from there in less than an hour. Glad we did it coz we enjoyed an amazing meal in another nearby restaurant.

Its been a while since iv written such a long review but then its been a while since iv had such a pathetic dining experience. Definitely never going back there again.

Oh and about the food. Cocktails were average and the food is ridiculously overpriced. It may be good but we did not really get a chance to experience the delicacies given the foul taste the service left.
The ambience is definitely very cool and I loved the posters they had . And the highlight was the live music even though we heard it for just 5 mins.

Excellent service great staff (Rita & the guy who made me the cocktail forgot his name) very friendly and had a wonderful time with my friend. Well done team masti u all r amazing will return back soon.

I believe the menu was made short to ease the selection. The bao there are to die for and the sweetness of the tamarind with the butter chicken was fantastic!

Deco was on point and so was the food. Cool place to hang out with friends or a date night. It might be a bit noisy if you wanna chat a bit tho.

On top of that, the staff are extremely helpful and so approachable.

Been to Masti with Friends Yesterday night for dinner !
Amazing dining Experience!
Beautiful and Exotic presentation of Food and indeed very Delicious!
Saag Panner Lasagna and Rasmalai Cake were the Best and Must try in the list !
Staff was very cooperative and suggested us best menu as per our taste !
Hope to visit Masti again !

Excellent choice if you are a fine dining lover, specially if you like Indian cuisine. The dishes are amazing and delicious. Excellent display and great service. All the staff is really into the details and they make you feel very comfortable. I will be back for sure

I’ve been with my friends in Masti for lady’s night, everything was just perfect ! The food is delicious, the selection of wines for the lady’s night was amazing and you should definitely try the cocktails they do, I don’t think I’ve ever tasted something like that in my life, just brilliant. 5* service the team is so friendly and welcoming! I’ll be going back again for sure!

Had a wonderful brunch experience at Masti. The wait staff, hosts, and bartenders were so happy to have us back. They kept checking on us, and the food and cocktails were phenomenal. There was such great care and attention to detail put into every aspect of our experience. We were grateful to be back and very happy. Much love!

Masti is one of those restaurants that I can’t stop talking about, their food is a modern twist on Indian cuisine and the menu does not disappoint, have tried most of their dishes and all of them are amazing.
But, what makes this restaurant extra special are the staff and the cocktails, I was genuinely surprised at how friendly the staff are (which is surprising for Dubai), you can tell that they enjoy their job and that reflects on the good management of this place. The next thing that was surprisingly amazing were the cocktails, our friendly bartender recommended a few of the house specialities, based on your personal preference and I recommend you ask them to do the same when you visit !
Highly recommend coming here on a weekend with friends for dinner and drinks as the ambiance is very nice particularly on Thursday nights.

Masti is a modern Indian restaurant located at La Mer Dubai. An Indian restaurant which sets itself a class apart for it’s plush interiors, exquisite food and drinks. The food here has been as beautiful as the restaurant. The so called Elephant bath weekend brunch from Masti is about having a great time with friends on a playful note with Live Music, food to share, unlimited drinks & a brunch that runs till late evening, which makes it a long weekend affair on a brunch note.

Come here for insta photos and the gimmicky drinks, not for exceptionally flavorful cuisine or cocktails.

Iam in love with this place !! Absolutely smashing set up - location , ambiance and food itself . Brilliant presentation of dishes!! Cocktails are with a twist and fusion dishes that are incredibly delicious. We went there for brunch and I would highly recommend.. you can enjoy the live music on level one while sipping your favourite drinks 🍸 definitely one of the best restaurant in La Mer and in town ..

Alex this best one... Love this gye. The service which was given by him was finominal I really appreciate the efforts. It was nice dinning with you guys in masti .... Thank you so
Louise
Masti is definitely fun. It was tough to decide which dishes to try as there were so many appealing options, but we settled for the eggplant, the paella and the butter chicken. All well sized portions - and interesting fusions with Spanish and Italian influence on the Indian inspired dishes.
What makes this place stand out is the attentive, descriptive staff, who go the extra mile to recommend and explain. Cocktails are definitely worth a visit for - will be back to check out more!

HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE.

We booked a New Years Eve dinner for 4 pax from my home country at this restaurant and paid a 400 aed deposit as well. I received a call ensuring that I will be given a nice table outdoor, I confirmed this with the lady on the phone multiple times.

We entered the restaurant ready for dinner, we noticed all the tables were decorated with festive bits like New Years hats, crackers etc. We waited to be seated and were shown to our table which to our surprise was a measly small table with absolutely nothing on it - no cutlery, no plates, no table mats, let alone any of the festive decorations placed on the other tables. We were essentially given a table for 2 pax for the 4 of us.

We first complained about the size of the table to which the manager’s response was that we had booked our table “too late” and they had to add this table for us as a last minute decision. Why accept the booking if you did not have enough room? Do you really have the audacity to blame the customer? When asked why the table was not even set up like the others he claimed it was because some other guests were sitting on it a while ago... is that the customers problem? No. If there is a reservation for a table it needs to be set up well in advance that’s the #1 rule.

When we asked to be moved to another table we were told they’re fully booked and the more spacious tables around us were for 6 pax while we could see that there were 4 pax sitting on each table, and later only 2 pax on the same tables that were supposedly for 6?

The managers attitude was very unprofessional, I work in the hospitality sector and it is a known fact that you never blame the customer especially in cases where it’s clearly the restaurant management’s fault. His attitude was more like if you like the table take it if not then get out. After we naturally started getting angry about the whole situation as it was a dinner we were very much looking forward to, having booked in advance as well, the manager started offering a table indoors which is clearly opposite of what we had requested.

We requested a refund as we were tired of the pointless back and forth dialogue with the manager. When we mentioned the refund he started offering us free appetisers and shisha, which is worth zero when you’re not treated with equal respect as all the other guests. We left to enjoy our New Year’s Eve somewhere else where we were treated with lots of respect and courtesy as should be the standard in any restaurant.

We are utterly disappointed by the lack of professionalism shown by the staff especially the manager. What a shame. If you’re in La Mer, go to Sikka - fantastic food and exceptional service! Ditch Masti.
Gotti Eisenberger
Enjoyed an amazing dinner at Masti.

Their Ceviche is delicious - especially the Mango&Avocado Ceviche it is not only a great vegetarian option, but also a sophisticated mix-up of a traditional dish.

We also had the Tuna Bhel and the Black Bass Ceviche which also tasted incredibly good.

When it comes to cocktails, Masti is the place to be at La Mer. With world-wide classics, indian classics and sophisticated signature cocktails the menu seems endless. And the ones we had were great.

Prices are alright, maybe a little high for the location, but certainly ok for the quality food, drinks and service you get.

We'll be back 🤤😍
Roopali Tungare
Some of the courses are for sharing between 2 people, we were 3 of us but still were not given proper portions and was not mentioned on menu, so i suggest please ask staff about number if portions that will be served.
Maria
I went here for a friends birthday and I love everything about the place. It’s in La Mer so the view is brilliant. The food is really good even if it’s in small quantities. The ambience is nice and comfortable with decent music.

This deserves a 5* but Just think because of the food quantity it’s a little over priced. Also there was a miscommunication regarding one of the decorations and one of the staff got a little rude. But everyone else was good.

Worth a visit
Rakesh Yadav
Amazing view food is nice and cheap compared to other restaurants there. Cocktail is the best I've had in Dubai since 5 years.
Will come back.
Gaurav Arora
Went today for the Masti Brunch. The service was painfully slow. Every dish took forever to come. The quantity is very poor for the price charged. We opted for the Alcoholic package. Drinks were nice. If we were to come back we will just come for a few drinks. Food not recommended at all.
Haroon Rashid
Visited La mer on the Friday evening just to relax and eat some Indian food. No better place then MASTI it completely matches its meaning fun and joy.
We didn’t had a booking and restaurant was really busy still the hostess managed to get a table in no time.
As I am vegetarian, chef abhijeet meet us and took care of us very well.
We had beetroot carpaccio, beetroot croquettes, tandoori chicken Bao, Saag paneer lasagna, Lotus cake.
From taste to presentation all number 1. Our server rama chandra was quick and polite and explained all the dishes. If you are fan of Indian food with fusion place suitable for everyone from Indians to Europeans.

We came to this place looking at the menu listed on Zomato and when we were given the menu to choose , it was totally different from the listed one . When asked about it , the answer was “the menu changed long back “. The only thing is , why wasn’t it changed on the app . I came here seeing the listed menu .

While ordering the pizza I asked them to make it a bit spicy the reply was “ we can’t , as the chef can’t change it as he doesn’t know how much can I handle “ . If I am ordering something then I know how much can I handle .

The chicken dish ordered ( charcoal stuffed chicken ) was full of salt and the sauce was very very over powering , the rice which came along with the dish felt like eating saffron and not saffron flavoured rice .

The lamb Biryani was extremely average which can be found in any restaurant in Karama / Bur dubai .

The tofu was also pretty average .

The only thing which was great was the Shisha as the shisha guy was very attentive and making the efforts to make it nice .

This place is very overrated and expensive .
Hitesh Jain
Great service provided by Alex
Rajesh Advani
Needs to improve service at table and should offer chips and or fries with Alcohol drinks since kitchen is closed at 11:30pm. Food is overpriced for the price offered.
Jaspreet Kaur
This place has a nice vibe. The staff at the restaurant was lively and helped us to chose as per our taste.
But the place is overpriced as compared to other eateries in La Mer.
Sareen N.
The ambience was good. Went on Monday for the Gin and Jazz night. We were a big party so were given a side big table. They claimed to be full so I have to give credit card details so they would block 1000 DHS. (It wasn’t full!)(Still a bit angry about that). Overall the food was average but the Scallops were good and so were the interesting mock Shaitails. Would recommend for a friends get together but tbh the Jazz music was too loud even though we were in the other room. Maybe they could work on that. Service was good. Food came quickly. However the only dessert we ordered Crackling Lotus took forever to come and have the party left.
Anna Skyrer
Beautiful venue with stunning deco and view. Food preparation was nice and fancy however the food itself found it quite expensive for the quality, would go back for the drinks and a chill evening if you are a foodie though you will love the food preparation as they do nice plate deco and creative ways of serving food!
Mahesh Shirke
Extremely overpriced. Terrible quantity and quality. Ambience is decent but overrated. Overall not a great experience for a group get together.
Annie
Just back from a party hosted here and can’t rave enough! You deserve 4.5 rating! Decor, staff, service, food and oh boy! Did I say cocktails!!! Perfect party place or a chillax weekend brunch with your mates! Will definitely go back!
Christy Philip Thomas
The ambience is lit. And I would recommend to go for outdoor dining during winter. The lighting inside is so good.

We had the BC pizza, butter chicken pizza and was a variety pizza which I had so far. Too expensive and recommend to have light bites & and save a lot of money. A good place to celebrate birthday as I celebrated mine there.
Pal
When I booked, wasn’t informed it’s a limited brunch. Veg options are limited, however so is the overall brunch. Place has a good decor but limp ambience. Brunch is so-so, place was chilling cold. We overheard the servers say to finish our table fast to accommodate the next waiting customers...shocking!! Overpriced for which food is nothing out of the ordinary!
Live Band plays upstairs, downstairs was super dead!! Unfortunately, we were stuck here to top the other negatives! Cocktails are it’s only saving grace...
Maya Fadel
Amazing place! Celebrated my birthday there and it was perfect.
They had Gin & Jazz night (on Mondays) which i highly recommend, the singer is fabulous!
The food was excellent - except for the BC Pizza which was the only average item.
The Lotus snap, crackle & pop is not to be missed!
Will definitely visit again.
Banisha Balan
We came here to celebrate my Husband's bday and we thoroughly enjoyed the experience and cocktails. Being a Gin Fan, i enjoyed all the drinks which i had esp. the elderflower ones.
The Bar Bites complimented well with the cocktails.
The live band and music was also entertaining. My only suggestion would be to have a live band singing Indian Fusion to go with the mood and theme of the restaurant atleast once or twice a week. I am sure your guests would enjoy the change.
Pawan Bhatia
They knew we came for the first time. Bad welcoming. We spoke personally to manager to suggest food but he never showed up instead sent someone to the table who was not friendly enough

Absolutely delicious 🤤 food with an Excellent service! I would say it’s the best experience in Dubai in terms of food quality and taste! Thanks to Chef Prashant, Brandon, Ram and whole team for giving unforgettable dining Brunch! I would rate 10* star and recommend this this place for everyone who value excellent service and food! Wow
Janeoliviahelou
it was really good, food comes really quickly, some plates are better than others, and it’s a bit overpriced for what it’s worth but very good food
Mohamed A Salah
Went to their Friday brunch and by far everything was amazing the food the vibe the service the seating the atmosphere the live band!! Can’t wait till the weather gets better and we can go and enjoy their outdoor area, would def and highly recommend this place!!!
Curly Tale
Wow great experience

Fantastic gin menu and the drinks we ordered were fab - snap chaat

We ordered mostly starters which were all delicious so the beginnings of this place was mind blowing.

The fusion of east and west is impeccable in the starters and drinks

The mains were a bit of a let down ..in hindsight we should have just ordered more starters
Christina G
Please note this review is based purely on drinks as we did not have dinner.
I thoroughly enjoyed the ambience and the unique cocktails. We ordered a variety on mocktails and alcoholic drinks, all served with great presentation and style. There is an happy hour until 8 pm on all cocktails. The ambience is very cool, the chairs very comfortable and the service impeccable. Very funky looking place with indoor and outdoor seating.
Dimple Sharma
I visited this place for their Gin & Jazz Mondays wherein they give two free gin based cocktails to every guest and have jazz performance on the floor.
I had ordered only their Mustard Glazed Tofu which was priced at AED 60 which was a little steep for my liking. Taste was good and ambience is lively.
However, they can probably add a small bite more to their portion sizes.
Hisham Himamudeen
One of the most amazing gastronomic fusion cuisines that I have tried. A beautiful ambience and great service. Must Spiced beetroot croquettes, Mushroom & Truffle Cream cones, High Chai and Oh my Coconut.
Simmy Mehta
Our first (and not last) visit to Masti.

The staff are excellent in terms of their service, attitude and knowledge. The quality of the food is exceptional accompanied by perfect presentation. The environment is cool and relaxed.

I fully recommend trying one of their signature cocktails!

Visited today for the Saturday brunch . The Brunch has 4 cold starters .. each better than the other . The citrus & mesclun salad is such a burst of flavours , the cassava chat was superb and the mango and avocado ceviche just steals the show ! We loved every bite and could only stop once the bowl was empty 😊 You can choose one item from the hot appetiser - I chose the burrata cheese and truffle pizza . It was crisp and and the olive paste adds a fab punch ! Hubby had the chicken bao which he enjoyed . The tamarind sauce comes in a capsule which u can squeeze yourself ,which is an interesting touch. For mains I had the chicken biryani .. the description was interesting but the crispy kale could not save it ! The chicken was chewy .. the rice were ok . Hubby quite liked his beef stir fry . The service was great with very friendly and helpful staff . With all the food except the biryani being a delight , I will still give it full marks as it was an enjoyable afternoon ! Will be back to try whatever we missed trying today :)

MASTI is undoubtedly a gem of a restaurant! From the unique decors, to the amazing service and contemporary menu, the whole meal is a phenomenal experience!

Tuna Bhel Tartare - I'm not a tuna person at all, but I liked this light and flavorful cold appetizer

Pulled Tandoori Chicken Bao - one of my favourites and a must try! The chicken was super juicy and bursting with flavour, and the bao itself was super soft.

Spiced Beetroot Croquettes - delicious mashed beetroot balls with a slightly crunchy crust, that just melts in the mouth.

Slow Cooked Lamb Croquettes - if the beetroot croquettes were delicious, this one was fantastic, with the perfectly spiced tender lamb. Another must try!

Saag Paneer Lasagna - what a lovely take on the humble saag! Extremely thin layers of paneer sandwiched between the saag "bechamel" was full of flavour

Kheema Popsicle - another absolute favourite! Biting into the crunchy quinoa crust to discover the tender delicious kheema, is exactly like the joy of having a popsicle.

Chocolate Delice - this one was a slight bit bitter for me since I'm not too big on dark chocolate, but it could easily be a chocolate lover's favourite

Mango Chocolate Cheesecake - this (eggless) cheesecake remains one of the best I've ever eaten, with the perfect sweetness, creaminess and spot on flavour, and definitely not to be missed!

Lotus Crackle - the menu of any restaurant in Dubai would be incomplete without featuring Lotus, and this coffee based dessert was perfectly balanced with the crunchy and smooth textures.

Chefs Hari Nayak and Prasanth Chipkar are culinary geniuses and that reflects in the thought, love and attention they've put into every dish on that brilliant menu. I could not have any of the cocktails, but I'll definitely be back to try their new dishes and drinks.
The dishes are priced slightly on the higher side, but it's the unique experience that you pay for, and in my opinion, it's completely worth it!
Some of the best cocktails in town! The drinks are carefully crafted, with small details that really do add to the whole experience. We were only there for a quick drink, but tried out the butter chicken bao. Definitely worth a try!

I was taken out for my birthday...with no expectation really...all i knew was that Masti had an extensive cocktail menu and a jazz band (which I love)...the decor and ambience are stunning...its got a vintage british colonial look...whilst a vibe from a cozy 60s jazz pub..i felt like i was in India, New york, and UK at the same time...if fusion is what they are aiming for they've definitely hit the mark! The cocktails were amazing, the combinations explosive...as for the food...it's in the realm of fine-dining at affordable prices...the fusion between indian and french styles is very clear...the ideas and combination of flavours left me speechless...I obviously over ordered and wasn't dissapointed... Gunpowder Scallops, Lamb Croquettes, Quail eggs, Lamb chops...just to name a few...probably my favourite lounge/bar in Dubai!
Absolutely amazing! We visited here for a special date, it’s a very scenic location. The food was spectacular- tasty and beautiful! I would definitely recommend the green pea ricotta kofta.
The gin cocktails were delightful and the waiter explains the botanicals and flavours in each.
I will definitely be visiting again! 10/10 in every way.

You can enjoy some drinks or meals there. I think the atmosphere is welcoming. Besides, the price of each is quite normal and you won't spend your salary there.

Keep in mind that it would be better if you make a booking in advance.

Pao & Bao; Prawn ceviche pani puri topped with plantain, awesome cocktails - the coconut rum is soo smooth

Desserts are quite the spectacle - the Lotus Tiramisu is amazing

Nicely decorated interior with spacious ambience. Its a two floor bar restaurant with family seating at the ground floor. Fusion food which again didn’t live upto my taste buds but heyy.. definable a one time experience. This place has some really nice funky cocktails to offer besides the prices are slightly on the higher side.

Staff is good, supportive and very friendly indeed. Food is nice - seemed clean and well served. I liked the tandoori chicken to be the best. Another good thing was the food size of tandoori prawns - made the day. Mutton biryani was also nice though very oily. Place however felt a bit dull. Went there for dinner and there was no music inside. Interestingly the downstairs part is informal as compared to upstairs. Even menu presentation was different though items were the same.

Great location, setting, ambience and decor.
However food left much to be desired for. Significantly overpriced for what you get.Service was poor, they brought out several dishes including icecream without spoons.

Beautiful set up, kids really enjoyed the outdoor. Friendly staff and amazing service, I was surprised by the efficiency and professionalism.
The lounge bar on the upper floor is icing on the cake, must visit place for good Indian cuisine.

Great place in the heart of the city for an evening out. Elegant interiors. Molecular gastronomy at its best. Friendly staff. good selection of beverages. Nice place for a ladies night out, business dinner as well as a romantic evening.

Booked for the iftar set menu. It was certainly enough food. The quality was average. Not sure about the one desert between 2 people though it was small. Service was hit and miss , I would suggest the staff smile a little more. The decor and concept is stylish. Would I go again? Not in a hurry.

I don't often write reviews, but after my experience at Masti, I really must share my experience.

A friend and I had heard such great reviews about Masti that we were convinced we must go and try their food, so we decided to do iftaar there a few days back.

I am now questioning the taste and choice of everyone who recommended this place. This visit is definitely in my top 5 'not to go to' places moving forward.

We had opted for the Iftaar set menu and I'm going to put down details about each course below.

To break fast they served us some fruit, dates and lentil soup. The lentil soup was super delicious and we both wiped our bowls clean in no time.

Now, for the starters we chose Edamame chaat and Mango and Avocado ceviche and Caulifower Koliwada.
The Edamame chaat was well below average, the beans were underdone (and no, I am not confusing under done with Al dente). There was so much tamarind sauce on the plate that it drowned out the flavor of everything else on there.
The ceviche, sigh, when someone says ceviche to me, I expect finely chopped meat/vegetables combined with a sauce or citrus; what we recieved was a very confused fruit&vegetable soup. The mango was tart, the avocados were mushy and there was so much liquid in that dish that it had to be served in a bowl. Needless to say, we didn't even go in for the second bite.
The caulifower kauliwada was passable - the seasoning in the batter was nice and the sauce they drizzled on the fried cauliflower was quite nice too, however the coating on the Caulifower was very thick and I could taste a lot of cornflour or whichever flour they used to coat for frying when I ate it.

For our mains we ordered Smoked Butter Chicken and Lababdar Paneer curry. The gravy of the paneer was nice, it was flavoured nicely with the right amount of spices and was a little chunky just like a lababdar should be. The paneer on it's own felt like I was chewing on an eraser - it was so so rubbery!
The butter chicken wasn't nice at all. The curry was very watery, we had gotten into a long conversation and had taken a break from eating, when we got back to the curry we saw that it had split and there was a pool of water in the bowl now - such a turn off. The chicken wasn't cooked well and was well over.

After having such unpleasant experiences with the starters and the mains, we decided to play it super safe with dessert. What could go wrong with a chocolate lotus dessert right? Apparently there's a lot! To begin with, it took them AGES to bring us our dessert. When it finally got to our table, it looked quite appealing and we tucked right in. Big mistake. The vanilla ice cream wasn't an actual vanilla ice cream but tasted like milk with sugar and water which had been frozen. The only 'lotus' in this dessert was the half a biscuit they crushed under the scoop of vanilla ice cream. The chocolate bomb is not even worth discussing. To add to this whole mess, there were shards of frozen yogurt around the chocolate bomb that tasted like expired yogurt and completely took over your palate and taste buds with the awful taste that lingered for quite a while even after we chugged a whole glass of water.

I am definitely not going to recommend this place to anybody wanting to go there for the food. The ambience is nice if you want to go there and have a few drinks to unwind - but do yourself a favor and get a sandwich elsewhere before you go to Masti. It was an extremely extremely disappointing visit and I'm never going back again.
A Big Hello to all the Foodies..!😊 like me

After hearing many good reviews about Masti.. I finally experienced it by self..

We went their for Ramadan Office Dinner on 14/May & the experience was quite amazing.. we were 5pax & we ordered almost everything from their food menu.. especially (Veg).. they have very nice & extended Drinks Menu especially for Gin lovers.. but food menu was very small & limited..Hence, we ended up repeating the dishes which we liked the most.. like Beet Root Croquettes, Lotus Chips..etc..
Also for drinks I only liked the Mojito.. which was pretty okay though.. they even have a drink called some Maharaniii.. which is mix of brandy with some juices that was too hard for me.. just not my taste..
Food rating - 4/5 (As the menu was very small & limited)
Ambience - 5/5 (very warm & lively atmosphere)
Staff - 5/5 (Very polite & prompt in their service)

Definitely a worth trying experience..!! Hope they extend their food , Cocktails & Mocktails menu..!!
Do you know that @mastidubai has the biggest collection of Gin in Dubai & they have a special range of Gin cocktails on their drinks menu? If you are Gin lover, then you don’t want to miss this one.
This place have just stepped into my go-to places in @mydubai !!
Masti Dubai is that perfect example of east meets west where most of the dishes have a touch of Indian spices but at the same time is originally a western dish. Is you look at the “so Good Lamb Chops”, it has a tamarind chutney that makes it a typical east-west dish! .
My Rating #eatwithirene :
Food: 9/10
Ambience: 10/10
Price: 10/10 slightly expensive but worth every penny
Service: 10/10 I have to mention the beautiful outfit that everyone was wearing at Masti! It looked so smart & beautiful! Like I wanted to wear it!! 😍
