I came with my friend for the first time to try their newly launched Weekday Mexican lunch. It was for 75 aed per person only which includes a set of yummy appetizers and one main course. The food was super tasty and full of flavors. Their guacamole was super good with the Nachos. The appetizers portion was big enough. The location of the restaurant is so cool overlooking the pool of Dubai Marine resort and the interior is woody, cozy and very spacious.
It was my very first time trying an AMAZING Mexican food!!! I loved all of the food, the food was so fresh! The chicken fajita was beyond words, so delicious and their appetizer plate was also amazing, they serve different kinds of food on that which I really loved and their nachos and guacamole was also AMAZING! Going there again!!!

Had an amazing lunch here yesterday. The staff was extremely nice with me. They food was incredible and the margaritas were great, specially the strawberry one.

We had a weekday Mexican lunch and it was amazing!! They bring many appetizers and then you choose your main course between fajitas, burritos or salad. Shrimps fajitas are the best!! The food is super fresh and delicious, quick service.
Went for a lunch there. It was a set menu. The food was fantastic, my favorite is shrimp salad and shrimp ceviche. Beef fajitas are awesome.
I liked Loca delivery, it was easy & fast😅. The food is cute and delicious, there are great options in the menu😋! Also the presentation of the food and packaging☺️😊! Highly recommended for lunch or dinner, specially for Mexican Cuisine lovers❤️❤️❤️(like me😉🥰).
I loved the place, the food, the drinks and the service... basically I loved everything 😍 it's a must visit place for Mexican fiesta lovers. The guacamole cooking show is the cherry on top... I'll come again for sure!

Arguably the best Guacamole in town. Tostada salad is also a delight. Fajitas and burritos are ok but the margaritas make up for it

Lively, noisy place with decent music for a fun evening with friends. Find out about ladies night and happy hours before visiting -- normal prices are comparable to other bars but free drinks for the ladies and extra ones for the lads don't hurt!
Big helpings of good food. Table-side preparation of guacamole adds to the fun. Food is tasty but a bit bland for a palate used to spicy food -- but this is quickly fixed by requesting some condiments.
Nice view of the Marine club pool and gardens. Outdoor seating is available. Smoking and Non-smoking areas.
This place never gets old . Impressive how they maintain the taste of their food and service. Polite and professional staff. Good variety on the menu. My only comment is that the prices can go down at least 10%. I still highly recommend for Mexican food lovers.

Food is super- tried their special Guacamole, fajitas, nachos, quesadillas which were worth the quality.

We come here all the time! Food is always the same quality, great portions for a great price. And not to mention the food comes out super quick! Great laid back environment, all surrounding tables are people just having a good time. Weekend or weekday, found it to be fab all the time
The place has a very lively atmosphere. Even though it was quite busy, the service was quite prompt since they have adequate staff doing the rounds inside the restaurant.
A lot of variety to choose from both - food and drinks.
Food was delicious, probably the best Quessadilla I've had in years. Chicken Fajita was good too, probably a 3 on 5.
Would certainly recommend for dinner and drinks with a bunch of friends.
Great Food and ambiance,. The Fajita is probably the best in town, despite some inconsistency in the beef one,m. Overall it is a great place to meet friends and enjoy a good night but need to work on the music style and the sound system.

One of the best mexican places out there. The guacamole here tastes so good, the real Mexican taste. And the Fajitas are to die for. Nice staff, a bit tight when the place is crowded but nonetheless the service remains good. Love the place, and would recommend it.
Love this place! Had the chicken and beef fajita offer, chicken was delicious but the beef was a bit dry and hard to bite.. there guacamole dips are insane and their staff are very friendly
Loca is a pricy Mexican bar and restaurant at the Dubai Marine Beach Resort & Spa. I’m not a big fan of the interior (the original Alamo was much better suited to Mexican) but the food is good, the staff are friendly, the music is great and, most importantly, it’s licensed.
We had a very pleasant lunch experience. We sat outside and enjoyed the view of the pool. It’s been while since I have been to Loca, but I was pleasantly surprised to see that the food is still very good - arguably the best Mexican in town, with a perfect guacamole dip. There was a live singer which was another nice addition. The only issue was that the tables outside are too close to each other. Beyond that it was all good.
Great food, bumpy tunes and impeccable service. Loca has been a weekend favorite for me and my group of friends. The overall feel of the place is premium to an extent, yet feels casual; designed to ensure a happy vibe.
On this visit we had the mushroom and cheese quesadillas, guacamole, jalapeño loca and the chef was kind enough to cook up a delicious veg burrito off the menu. The attention and efficiency, despite the crowd, is something many establishments in dubai can learn from.
I recommend this place for visit on any day throughout the week.
As a pure vegetarian I loved the food. If you’re a light eater then the quantity per dish is definitely filling. The ambience is wonderful and very jolly. The staff are extremely friendly.
Loca – Mexican cuisine is one of my favorite cuisines and I always look forward to the restaurants which serves good Mexican food. Loca is always on my list. I love their dark, quirky interiors. Recently they introduced some new dishes on the menu and I got to try some of them. . The dishes we tried was Chilaquiles Rojos Tazajo with beef tenderloin, chili sauce, black beans puree,egg, and fresh cheese. It looked very interesting. Other options are Tamales Yucatecos, Sabana and Pollo En Mole – a chicken dish served on buttered spinach and zucchini. All the dishes stood out so well.
My favorite! Chicken fajitas and guacamole are the best in Dubai. Not a fan of the ambience, but the food and service make me go there again and again.
Once a notorious expat pub called The Alamo, Loca has evolved in its years to become one of the restaurants synonymous with good Mexican food and a lively atmosphere in the Dubai food scene. The wife and I headed down on Sunday night to try out a few dishes from its new menu. Firstly, don’t come to Loca expecting a fine-dining setting (although if you look at the menu-pricing, you’d think it was fine-dining – more on that later). It’s very much set up like a pub with big screens covering the non-smoking area we were seated in and sports commentary played instead of music.

They have the best food, cocktails, beer selection, ambience & service. Everything about this place is perfect, from the live handmade guacamole to their raspberry mocktail, from their friendly staff to their cheesy queso!
It was heart breaking for me when they shut their Souk Al Bahar branch since it served as a great tourist spot but my love for this restaurant will take me anywhere.

I love the bold flavors of Mexican and Latin American cuisine and I never fail to visit Latin American restaurants every now and then. Last Tuesday I got an opportunity to try the new traditional dishes- Mexicanos Tradicionales that were added to the extensive menu of Loca, the authentic Mexican restaurant and bar.
It was great experience to have dinner over here :)
The staff was very friendly and the service was very quick although it was Thursday
We order passion raspberry margarita which was amazing and adding to that we order Guacamole which they made live and fresh on our table that was yummy 😋
Then we order vegetable Nachos 😋
And Quesadillas which were too great in taste
Over all it was great experience to have dinner :)

The food is excellent. I think the best guacamole I ever had. Yummy. The service was great. Cocktails are good. The ambience is nice. I think the only reason i dont go there often is the lack of vegeterian variety. Otherwise this is a classic place I would visit and take guests to.
Delicious mexcian food! We went on a Thursday night with some friends, none of us had any complaint about the food nor the service. Its a must try when in Dubai
When you’re thinking about going all out with the Mexican - LOCA is the place. Start off with their brilliant selection of Margaritas or have a simple desperado and go to your appetisers. A MUST TRY is their brilliant Guacamole (personal favorite and one of the best in town) along with Jalapeño Poppers. For the main - I tried the Chicken Chipotle Burrito and it was phenomenal. Basically - everything on their Fajitas and Nachos menu is TO DIE FOR.

A good place to catch a match with friends. Their tostada salad is a must have. It’s wholesome and flavorful. They have good options on their menu but limited choices for vegetarians the entertainer can be used so that’s a thumbs up

Though being a bit overpriced, the guacamole and tacos were still impressive! Try the chipotle guacamole and it's more than satisfying! The portion is also quite huge!

Loca is by far one of my favorite restaurants in Dubai. This Mexican place has excellent food and good service. But surely do not count the calories.

I tried their mixed fajita with beef, chicken, and shrimp (I replaced the fish with chicken). I loved the beef the most, the shrimp second, but I did not like the chicken. It was very chewy.

I haven't had much of Mexican food but this place has surely set the bar very high for me. It has a beautiful vibe of a brunch with views of the pool and a live jazz band playing.
What we ordered:
-Original Guac: so fresh as it was prepared at the table. Supreme taste
-Nachos : smashing. Couldn't get enough of this
-Prawn Enchiladas: *STAR DISH* One of the best dishes I have had. It was fresh and although cheesy very light
_Chicken Chimichanga: this was decent
-Fajitas : they let you make your own fajitas with the filling you want. We chose the grilled chicken.

This particular outlet is one of my favourites. I have been to the one in souk al bahar but the food is nothing like this outlet. You must try the guacamole, its made live in front of you on your table. You can choose how spicy you want it. They have the worlds best Guacamole and I mean it. Fajitas are also hot and served on a sizzling platter with other fillings.
My go to place for Mexican food in Dubai. Local has a great location and atmosphere. Perfect for a good meal with friends over a few drinks. My Personal favorites are the House Nachos with Guacamole, the Tostada Salad, and the Quesadilla and burritos. Oh and you have to end your meal with their Tres Leches Cake, which is basically a milk cake. Also they have a super deal for their friday brunch. Definitely worth checking out.

The food was amazing and the the guacamole was freshly made in front of us and served with warm tortillas.

Should’ve gone here over the other locations. It’s a lot cozier and chilled. Birthday lunch with close friends. Kids enjoyed the food and so did we. Be good use the pool and then brunch. Ordered the usual suspects quesadilla burritos fajita steak etc. everything yummy.

Been here a couple of times. Love the overall ambience and feel of the place. The place tends to get crowded on weekends and reservations are recommended. The guacamole which is prepared fresh by the table can be customized according to taste. The nachos and the guacamole are delicious. The salmon and shrimp fajitas were spot on. A shrimp appetizer which is more of a salad with mangoes, papaya, lime and cilantro is very tasty. The quesadillas are ok.
Have tried their margaritas which come in different flavors and taste amazing. Bryanne who served us on two occasions was very helpful in suggesting the drinks and food. Service is good. Overall a lovely place with amazing food.

This brunch is one of Dubai's hidden little secrets with its endless supply of food and variety of choice Loca serves up a great fare.
What I have always liked about this brunch is that you leave stuffed to the brim, yet you do leave not feeling guilty about all the food that you have wasted as one does at the more buffet style brunches. The options are extensive and the a la carte style ensures that you get what you want when you want.
The best thing about this brunch hands down is the endless guacamole one can avail and no skimping on this as Loca ensures that this is made fresh in front of each table.
Even better are the non-alcoholic beverages they have to offer. As the resident teetotaler I am often subject to an unlimited supply of soft drinks as most brunch drinks come 'pre-mixed,' so for a change it was nice to have a few more options.
I had previously done the brunch in the seating area, mostly because the party was smaller and there was less need to mingle. Although the venue was busier at the time I felt the service was far better - more efficient and fast. In comparison, perhaps due to being part of a larger party we were seated in the bar area, not only was this less comfortable but the service was super slow with orders having to be repeated multiple times and reminders for drinks constantly made it simpler to just get up and order at the bar.
Other than that it is a great brunch and the non-alcoholic package will only set you back AED 155.
Love for Loca! Chilled out vibes, succulent Mexican food, good value for money, efficient service, and a good brunch. The carne is to die for so make sure to order that!
Now, I do not normally start a restaurant review by talking about the toilets, so here goes something new: the toilets are alright. They are clean, accessible, and they have separate facilities for men and woman. No transgender option, however but I suspect that might be more to do with Dubai than Loca.
So, why am I writing about the toilets? Well everything about this place is great. I love the bar area, food is great, their guacamole is awesome (although mine is more awesomer - tip, add a squirt of mayo with all the other stuff), their pricing is reasonable (obviously this is relative, its OK for Dubai, outrageous by international standards) and their servers are always really cool. There are even some TVs dotted around the place allowing you to keep an eye on the sports results when the tinder-date is getting a bit dull.
Really there is no reason to not give this place 5 stars and that's why I'm giving it 4.5 stars - as the parking is rubbish.
Fantastic restaurant with great food and drinks. Special shoutout to the margaritas. Highly recommend ordering a pitcher with different salts. Our personal favorite was the passion fruit margarita with charcoal salt. The chipotle guac was outstanding. Highly recommend.
I visited the place for lunch so didn't find many people. But the place has really good abmience and feel to it. The food was excellent and the variety of beers of out the world. I have never seen such vast variety of beers being offered at a place. Definitely a must go.
