مطعم جميل بسيط وصغير نظيف واحترافي العمالة هندية السمك طازج وتجربتك ستكون حسب السمك الموجود كان يتضح من الاسماك المعروضة ان نصفها طازج جدا والنصف الاخر كما هو بقية المطاعم اخترت صنفين زبيدي و نوع اخر الزبيدي كان فرش فرش وخرافي جدا النوع الاخر الاعداد جيد لكن السمك متوسط الروبيان مشوي مميز المطعم 9/10 وسأكرر الزيارة بإذن الله

الربيان مقلي كان ممتاز ولكن الكلماري مكان فيه حتى طعم لأنه كان مجمد المكان نضيف جداا

I "discovered" this place through Tripadvisor and phoned in advance to reserve a table for one - it being a Saturday night. I then had to persuade a taxi driver to take me there. The first one refused - no idea where it was and the second one I asked had a rough idea but still needed to help to find it. One arrival I was very warmly greeted by just about everyone on the staff. My reserved table was waiting for me but as the place was only half full I was encouraged to take a table for four so that I could spread out. I was given the menu to scan through after ordering a large, thick avocado milk shake. But the friendly & extremely helpful guy from Mumbai (owner/manager?) came and we chatted about what best to eat. He also showed me the array of fresh fish and explained each type in turn and how they could be prepared for me. Very much with his help I had a starter of freshly deep fried butterfly prawns in batter with a complementary plate of cucumber and carrot salad. Absolutely delicious. Then came the main course - fresh sea bream grilled on a charcoal grill - one side covered in a greenish parsley sauce and the other with a red, mildly spicy chilli laced sauce. This was accompanied by "Parotta" crispy bread and a small bowl of sardine curry which was also exquisite. Service throughout was absolutely brilliant. I received great help and advice on what to eat and information on the various ways of preparing the fish. If I recall correctly my fish had been farm reared in Turkey... I thoroughly recommend you to try out this place if you like genuine, well cooked fresh seafood. And it is wonderful value. My bill came to less that 100 AED. Beat that!!!

We came here because of very good reviews on TripAdvisor and were not disappointed! The food is delicious. Fresh fish and sea food just waits there to be eaten :) Sunil was amazingly helpful, kind and recommended us great fish and selection of sea food. We strongly recommend this place. What's more the prices are affordable - for the big meal for two we paid only ~120.��� Shrimps ROCKS!���

Truly a hidden Gem..When you really want to have affordable yet delicious seafood of your choice .This is the place !Had my favourite Hammour with the Green paste coating charcoal grilled..shrimps with garlic lemon mixture ..crabs ,mussels and calamaris with redchilli flavoured and ofcourse their secret ingredient ..totally Desi,mild spicy yet modern touch to it..

Have heard a lot of reviews so had to try the place. We tried the Red Snaper Grill and must admit it wasn’t that fresh and wasn’t worth the hype. When asked they mentioned it could be the masala giving that not so fresh taste but we did not buy that reason. Also tried the Jumbo Prawn Grilled and that was pretty good one with the Lemon Sauce Masala and the other a Red one!

It’s a nice low key surprise. Love their seafood and the different options available. Definitely good value for money.

Best part about this place is that there is a counter of fresh fish where you can choose the type of fish you want and the way you want it to be cooked- whether you want it grilled and fried with different spice levels and flavors. Went few days back. The choice of sea food is nice. We ordered for grilled calamari, mussels and prawns. We liked calamari the most. Mussels were okey, didn't like the spicy sauce. Prawns were disappointing; wasn't grilled properly.

We were from Abu dhabi to receive a guest who flied in. The guest wanted a fish in dinner without being waiting in a queue as is normally in Dubai at night.<br/><br/>We went to the restaurant and found that it is empty without customers. We doubted the quality as there was no one in it but had decided to check the quality of the fish directly. Average place nothing exotic. Takes too long to serve on a wednesday night with no other guests except me and a friend. Average grill sea bream even red chilly marinade had no flavour was bland. Roasted prawns was good. Erics and peshwa have better seafood.

I always go to Fish Hut for my seafood fix. NOTHING beats the chargrilled sea bream half mustard half red chili, it is to die for! And the prices are great👍🏼

After the first time I visited this place I have been there several times in the following week. They are one of the fish restaurants in Dubai. They prepare the catch of the day right infront of the guest and their range of sauce and preps are diverse and outstanding recommending spicy red, spicy green, salt and pepper, lemon and herb sauce

Last time we had been to this place we had tried the fish marinated with Rosemary & Lime and Lemon & Thyme. This time we decided to fish for typical South Indian type Malabari marination. The marination and preparation is amazing. We did not regret the decision to try Malabari spiced fish. The fish fry was very crispy and marination was not spicy as requested. The Crab & Prawns Roast had a tadka of Kadi Patta which added a nice aroma. Was there on a Thursday night. Ordered the squids in lemon garlic marination, payipadans fish curry, spicy tiger prawn and sultan Ibrahim. The food was tasty, good quantity and good service. Came here for their renowned fish dishes, but fell in love with their hummus. It was almost ironic. I wouldn't be overexaggerating if I said they have the creamiest and tastiest hummus in Oud Metha which mind you, has a smorgasbord of Arabic sheesha cafes that whip out some yummy grub. Tried their prawn roast with malabar parathas too. Nice, fresh prawns floating in a thick gravy with sweet notes made for a wholesome dish. Next on my list from their menu are the grilled/fried fish dishes. They give you the benefit of selecting your choice of fish from the display area. So fresh fish on your plate is a given. If seafood is your guilt trip, you will surely be tripping with their daily fresh catch.

The Manager helped us to get a quick table.<br/><br/>My day was made by..<br/>Black pomfret fish, which was grilled superbly with green spice on 1 side and red on other. Crabs roast was absolutely delicious, the crabs were crispy outside but soft and tender inside. Both were aptly served with iddi appam and wheat parotas. This restaurant proves that looks can be deceiving, small jewel of a restaurant excellent preparation of sea food, king fish in malabari curry was rocking, fried prawns was outstanding, bit disappointing was the fillet of sea bass though very fresh was with few bones. Was seriously disappointed with the quality of the food coz of the quality of the oil used or rather it was reused multiple times. I called up to inform them of the same and I was told that they change oil everyday in the fryer. Visited this high rated restaurant in oud mehta for some fresh seafood. The restaurant was surprisingly crowded even on a weekday. If you are into seafood then this place is a must visit. I was expecting another bu qtair style sea food restaurant when I initially visited but there are a lot of options for preparation of fish as compared to other such outlets. We didn't want to over eat and picked a seabream(smallest among available selection including sheri, hamour etc..) which was charcoal grilled with one side being covered with red chilli spices and the other side was butter garlic. So basically on 1 dish I got to have desi spices as well as a continental twist. We had the same with porota and a salad which was served. Prices were affordable, service was good and so was the food. Very good experience here.

We had been taken out by our old colleague of my husband when he introduced us this restaurant for trying out fish by this restaurant.<br/>The food was only fish.<br/>Fresh fishes from a pack of ice over them were selected by us for cooking. It is live cooking. Many charities of Fish to choose.<br/>We chose Sea Bream for frying<br/>We chose other Indian fish for curry. It was not bad which is of a different kind of offering the fish you want to be done.<br/>Once done cooking of selected course of food offering with steamed rice, it was good to the taste of our palette of chillness. Two marination in one seabream. @dubaifishhut serves some signature marination for grilled seafood and my favorite is Lemon n Thyme and Red Spicy. Hence tried both in one fish and tasted amazing. Must try, YESS..!!

I have come across this place on zomato a few times and it has been recommended by a couple of people. I was in the area and found myself with some extra time on my hands so i thought i would give it a try and im glad i did. Everything from the service to the food is exceptional. I regret that I did not get the name of the gentleman who was attending to me from the moment I entered the restaurant. I do believe that he was indian and he definitely is a huge asset to the restaurant. Very warm and genuine to the point that u feel more than just a customer in the restaurant. His explanations about the menu and his recommendations were spot on. I ordered a greek salad and I have to say it was one of the best salads i have had in a while. Fresh and simple with the dressing perfectly mixed in not just carelessly poured on top like most restaurants tend to do. I literally wanted to drink what was left of the dressing from the bowl when i was done with the salad. I then had the crispy shrimps with a fresh tartar sauce that I couldnt get enough of again so fresh u can literally eat the sauce with a spoon. For my main I had a grilled hamour which I chose from the display of fresh fish they have in the restaurant (another great feature of the place). The fish is split and the main bones removed to make it more manageable to eat which is very convenient. The gentleman at the reataurant recommended two different sauces (u can choose one for each half of the fish) and as i wanted something light and not spicy he recommended the lemon and thyme and the lemon garlic butter which was just what the doctor ordered. All in all i felt good leaving the place and I believe its the whole energy in the restaurant which many places lack. All the staff are great including the ones in the kitchen who wished me good bye when I left and I was shown out by my host and wished a great day which again was an amazing touch from this gentleman.. I really wish nothing but the best for this place because they truly deserve it. I take my hat off to this establishment. I saw that they have the 2018 dubai little gem award and I couldnt describe the place any better. A little gem hidden in the back streets of oud metha yet delivering service and food that many so called 5 star establishments can learn a few things from. Bravo Fish Hut!!!!

Fish Hut is the best Seafood restaurant in Dubai, and at times I catch myself thinking that it could be the best restaurant period in the city. <br/><br/>Having been there 10 to 15 times in the last 4 years, I can say that I've never had anything short of a great meal at Fish Hut. It doesn't matter what day of the week, time of day, or which branch (the original Oud Metha branch and the Barsha branch), you will always have incredible fish at Fish Hut. The consistency is a breath of fresh air in Dubai, where restaurants seem to pop up all the time and impress, only to drop in quality a year or two later. <br/><br/>Simply put, the food here is incredible. All the seafood is incredibly fresh, and the staff members will suggest what type of spices and cooking method you should use for every different variety of fish. For example, Sultan Ibrahim is best fried, while they suggest you grill the Sea Bream. I suggest you go with what the staff and chef's say, they're incredibly knowledgable about what flavors work best together, and they've never led us astray. <br/><br/>Other than the fish, make sure you order the squid and the prawns, they're exquisite. The fresh paratha and the seafood curry that come with it are heaven. <br/><br/>The interior of both branches could be a lot better, and the original branch is quite small, but it just adds to the charm of the restaurant. In a place that you wouldn't imagine to find a decent seafood restuarant, the Fish Hut couldn't hide itself anymore and raised to shine.<br/>Food is fresh, and prepared fast, waiters recommendations were in place, food is delicious, service is superb..<br/>Ambience is simple, while food and service quality is high..<br/>Ahhh.. and prices are very reasonable... so we will be back again.

A hidden gem in Dubai. One of my colleagues took us to Fish Hut after a long meeting. Our brief was a place that will not disappoint us; we wanted great food and we found it at Fish Hut.<br/>This is a small restaurant in one of the streets of Oud Metha; nothing fancy from outside and for the restaurant but the food was great.<br/>We ordered char-grilled calamari, shrimp and Waldorf salad as starters; then sea bass marinated in two flavors; both sides were great. It was one of the most delicious fish I had in Dubai - fresh, juicy and aromatic at its best. <br/>Service was very good; so definitely a must- try in Dubai.<br/>

For the freshest fish in a fish and chips platter this side of town.<br/>Unassuming place but mistake not the flavours, quite popular with sea food lovers. They do the fish your way, mild and uncomplicated Western way or the spicy Indian route. For these prices, it's a bargain. Will visit and recommend. PS to restaurant, how about making those fries from scratch too, will surely up the taste of that fish and chip.

Visited the place after reading the rave reviews about the food. After a very friendly greeting, we were set up on a table for 6 with a baby chair. The idea is to choose the fish you want from the display and then have it seasoned from 1 of the 6 7 flavours. We chose the sea bream and went for red spicy and lemon and thyme. We also went for 1/2 kg of prawns in lemon and butter flavour<br/>We also ordered the prawn with mango curry and parathas<br/>The good: The service was great. Our server was hands on and responding to all our questions and needs promptly. The spicy side of the fish was great.<br/>The alright: Overall the cost was quite high and we left not feeling very full. Its not a cheap option in my opinion so that needs to be kept in mind.

So I was here for dinner yesterday and I'm back for lunch today, this place is that good. The curries are perfectly spiced and absolutely delicious. Portions are huge, prices are low and staff very friendly and helpful. Only downer is that they don't deliver. But I definitely will be back again

I went there for the second time , my first visit was excellent , For my second visit I brought a friend with me , but unfortunately the fry fish we order was almost burned from over frying !!! While grill fish was great over frying a fish turns it to bones !

You choose you fresh fish, then you choose the way you want it to be cooked (charcoal/grilled/pan fried/ deep fried) and then the marinade : paprika, thym-zaatar, chili, ... (you can choose 2 marinade per fish). I absolutely loved the lemon butter shrimp and the crabs they are def a must try ! We also tried red chili calamari and rosemary calamari and on demand I got the fried calamaris 🤭 The lemon soda also was good and refreshing ! Had a very pleasant dining experience. Staff were very welcoming as soon as we came in. They made sure that we were comfortable with out seats and even adjusted the ac as we were sweating from the heat outside. Food was very tasty and cheap. You can even request for 2 marinades, 1 on each side, of the fish. It came out really well done as we had it char grilled! Their different sauces that comes with the dishes were also very good! Would definitely come back and tell my friends about this place!

We tried this restaurant after looking at high ratings in Zomato. We tried Black pomfret with red chili marination on one side and lemon and garlic marination on the other side. It was worth it. specially my daughter who is fussy about food, even she liked it. <br/>We also ordered Prawns mango curry which I didn’t find it up to mark. The mango taste was missing in mango curry. <br/>Overall it was a good experience. Staff were friendly and proactive. Would definitely come back for grilled fish.

Great casual place. I usually order from here as its just around the block from where I am. I decided to hop iver one day to give it a try.<br/><br/>The place is busy, but the service is good. Came to this place for lunch today. Would actually give it a 4.5 rating.<br/>We had two seabreams, one with lemon and garlic and chilly green which was fryed and the other with lemon and thyme and chilly red which was grilled. The flavours were really good and the fish was cooked perfectly. We preferred the grilled seabream however because it had less oil in it.<br/>The place is really cool and open. The staff help you select the best flavours as per what you would like. Overall this place is amazing.

Small & simple decor restaurant which serves very fresh fish and other sea food such as lobsters, tiger prawns, hamour, sea bream (red version as well Kofer), red snapper, sea bass, pomfret etc. The format is that of charcoal grill of fully poached fishes or fried or tawa fry in a variety of flavours. Excellent taste and perfect places for fish lover. Very reasonably priced and very friendly front manager who educates and recommends you these fishes and flavour that go well with them. Must visit!!

we just had dinner today i was delighted by the food quality and service, nice decoration, cleanliness is maintained (floor, tables,cutlery and toilet), nice selection of songs, Presli the manager is familiar with the menu items and suggests what to order which makes it much easier as well as Beth and Jim very friendly , smiling highly motivated and hard working, food quality is great at fair price.we enjoyed our time we will definitely visit again. barsha branch is closer than oud metha so we will try next time.

This one is a worthy addition! <br/>The restaurant is a cozy affair, entire restaurant fitting in an area in which the fish spread at the Seafood Market will hardly fit! <br/>We picked up sea bream, calamari and shrimps. Each one of them was very well prepared. <br/>The menu has a few curries as well. However, please stick to the chargrilled version. We were very dissapointed with our second visit yesterday. very bad service .we ordered a lime soda which took ages to come and it was placed at the counter for a long time where dirty dishes were placed . very unhygenic. we had to take the glass ourselves. the two waiters available were not around then.<br/>The grilled fish tasted good and was value for money but the entire experience was marred by bad service.<br/>I guess the recent popularity has dimmed their service standards.

When visited first time love the place , it was a whole new experience for me . But man their spicy means Spicy like hell, still it’s worth trying now its my regular place to visit.

Went here to try the Hidden Gems deal during Dubai Food Fest where it was a AED25 meal of 6 grilled prawns in lemon butter garlic and a grilled fish with rice. It was a really good deal and the seafood was nice. However, being a hungry group of foodies, we added on some paratha with an order of their mango shrimp curry. It was good and every dish was polished. We had to end our dinner at another place though as they didn’t serve any hot tea and their coffee machine was broken that day. Other than that, place, food and staff are all nice.

Went to this place for the first time with high expectations owing to good reviews and rating on zomato. There was a dubai food fest offer going on with a set menu of grilled hamour, grilled prawns and some rice and curry. Although the prawns were super awesome, the hamour lacked flavor without any good marination. The rice and curry were there for the name sake. The staff of 2 were too busy to bother or care. Didn’t like the indifferent behavior of the male staff. <br/>Anyway will go again to try some more dishes without the offer and maybe we will get some better service and recommendations next time!! I was invited by Dubai Food Festival to try this amazing seafood restaurant with affordable prices and Northern Indian style ..<br/>It truly deserves to be an award winner as one of the hidden gems restaurants in Dubai ..<br/>The service was brilliant and the team is very friendly .. I loved every single dish <br/>Be specific whether you like the food spicy or little spicy because we ordered spicy shrimps and they were too spicy .. just asking to add little spices would be good .. <br/>

They displayed different varieties of fish in which we chose black pomfret around 1.5 kg costed around AED 110 and they gave us two choice of marinated chargrilled fish of which one is green chilly and the other is lemon butter . It was very filling for 3 people ! The fish was cooked so well and the taste was amazing ! We had sea fried rice which had calamari and prawns it tasted good ! The grilled medium sized prawns was perfectly cooked ! They serve a generous amount of juice 🥤 in a serving ! I would definitely visit again!

Found this restaurant recently topping the chart for hidden gems restaurants in Dubai. So decided to visit this restaurant with my family. Location was easy to identify and better park your car in nearby parking area as u won’t get any parking close to restaurant being residential area. When we entered only 2 Mediterranean families were dining casually and happily. I could see from their face. We ordered butterfly fried prawns and fish balls for starters. Loved the live display of various varieties of fish. Ordered hamour, seabream, sultan ibrahim and kingfish with different mixed marination choices. Lemon & garlic, chilly green and red out of which I loved the lemon garlic marination which blended very well and gave amazing flavor and aroma to the fish. It was a great fine evening here. Also we tried their breads and fruit juices which was very tasty as well. Wish to rate 4.5 however limiting to 4 so that when I visit next time I could see some improvements. Cuisine is Mediterranean and continental style and could see so many Europeans gushing in. Highly and definitely recommended for seafood lovers. 👍👍👍👍💥💥💥💥💥

I couldn't review my first visit to this place because there were 12 people involved and I had no control on ordering and no idea about what the heck was I eating. Thankfully, my folks are seafood lovers and decided to have dinner here to celebrate their wedding anniversary here! Just the three of us now! 🤗<br/><br/>This placeI could be considered a hidden gem! It may look ordinary from the outside and a little small in terms of space or size, but the seafood they serve is fresh, the taste is (almost) upto the mark, and the price (considering how expensive seafood is) is totally worth it! 😍<br/><br/>The staff is well trained, but this time the manager of the restaurant was serving us, and he took good care of us in suggesting what we should order and in what quantity... He even took us to see the fish available for cooking and asks the specifics of the marination we would like it to be fried in, the amount of spiciness preferred, etc. 😄 <br/><br/>For starters, we ordered one Butterfly Prawns Fried and one Crispy Calamari, and for main course - one Grilled Seabream Fish (half Lemon marinated and half spicy), one portion of white rice, one portion of Mixed Seafood Fried Rice and one offering of Prawn Mango Curry.<br/><br/>The starters were very average, and we take half the responsibility for it because they were probably bad choices - however, I know that the Butterfly Prawns Fried could have been much tastier (couldn't taste any batter whatsoever). But that Grilled Seabream Fish, the Prawn Mango Curry and and Mixed Seafood Fried Rice killed it! 😎<br/><br/>And when we calculated the cost per head to be AED 50-60 per person, we were completely stuffed and satisfied. A good place. A good variety of fish. For the starters we had butterfly prawns I felt the prawns could have been bit bigger as there was more of bones rather than flesh. For the main course we had pomfret which was also very good as I don't like bones so that didn't contain bones at all. But we had the green chilli one. I felt it was a bit too spicy which could be worked upon.

Purely based on reviews, over the weekend I decided to pick this place for dinner with my friends but It was just an ordinary dinner nothing as raving as the reviews suggest. Being weekend, I had expected the place to be busy but it was quiet vacant. Fish is highly priced! We picked seabream for grill with marination of red spice and lemon garlic,it was good. Amongst the choices of fish curries, only prawn mango curry and kadampulli curry was available we had to settle with prawn curry with wheat paratha, rice and taste was just ok! Service is slow.

Returning home one day from Abudhabi i rang them up, asked them the prices of what i was looking for. Drove there with my wife. The restaurant is right next to my office, tucked away between inner roads away from all view. I was skeptical ofcourse about visiting a restaurant that had no customers at 7.30-8 in the evening. At the counter in front of us for us to choose from are different fish placed on top of a layer of ice. There is also crab, prawns, squid (calamari).<br/><br/>We chose a hamour and requested it to be grilled. The guy behind the counter, Mr Aliyar , friendly as he seemed, i spoke to him for a while and he was helpful in deciding to choose the type of marinate for the grilled fish. The fish is served cut open in the center, so 1 side of the fish was with green chilly marinate and the other half with lemon garlic marinate. We also selected the smallest portion of calamari that was grilled in a marinate of rosemary. We also ordered 2 wheat parata and a plate of hammus.<br/>The calamari was served instantly which gave me the feeling it was not cooked through. My wife assured me that it gets cooked fast, so that i eat it.<br/><br/>Now the grilled hammoor, yum yum.<br/>It was cooked through, thoroughly, beautiful dish. The green chilly marinate wins for sure.<br/>The hammus and wheat parata was just average.<br/>But the fish has no comparisons to the other fish places like fish basket or fish market. This is the place.

We have been waiting for it's branch to open in barsha but it's still opening soon so we decided to go to this far away oud metha branch. The place is small but it's food has a huge impact. We had hammour and pomfret both fish were fresh. The marinate flavours were delicious, we tried garlic lemon with chilli and lemon butter.
