اجواء المطعم جيده... كنت فيه يوم الجمعه و كانت في وحده تعزف عالقيتار الاكل جيد بشكل عام ومتنوع المواقف متوفره قرب المطعم الاكل وصل بسرعه المطعم فيه جلسات خارجيه و عندهم بار لتحضير العصائر و تكون فريش السعر غالي شوووي انصح فيه للعوايل و بصراحه الموظفين بشوشين و متعاونين

A very good place located in Dubai Healthcare City.. it has a setup of a restuarant in Mumbai.. Staff and manager both are friendly ... and on speaking to the manager he mentioned about the taste of the food .. how they maintain the taste... while the cooks are cooking the food.. the owner is supervising it .. to make sure their visitors get a nice homely feel to it Here we had Cheese chutney bomb - big huge cheese ball with chutney and potato filling. Calamari twist - Fried Calamaris Prawn Appetiser - A copy of dynamite prawns Burnt garlic chicken - it was good Veg noodles and veg Manchurian - my friends said it was good Butter chicken - was really nice and creamy. Chicken cafreal - It was really good with mixed herbs. Chicken biryani - it was average. Peach lavender ice tea -taste was good but very sweet Mango and chilli mojito - Its one of the best drink i have had until now Yuzu lemon and mint. The place was really good, Food was good too and staff was friendly.. Will i visit here again ? I might

Thanks to Zomato; we found this place for Friday lunch and booked a table for 1.30pm via Zomato. Unfortunately we could not be there at 1.30 and we reached at 1.50pm and alas our table was not available clearly our fault...however they were nice enough to keep us waiting in the lounge and provided a table with high chairs so that we order our drinks. We went for all Mango madness and Mango Chilli was nice and different, Mango Lassi was ordinary with less of mango taste but nevertheless good tasting and the Mango Montano was a disaster as it was full of ice and tasting like a smoothie. The main course was too good especially the Burnt Garlic and Chilli noodles. Their GS Double decker Veg was different with mix of noodles, rice and Manchurian and it's a have it all item. The traditional dal, rice and bhindi fry was not a disappointment especially the dal. All in all a simple lunch and their bill has a service charge of 5% which still added up to a fair price!. Certainly a recommended place and the location is easy to find if you use google map and you will have to go inside the circle where City Clinic Hospital is located and Building No 41. Being Friday parking was easy to find by but the place has limited parking enough for the guests of the restaurant. An additional treat available is Kulfi's and a Kulfi cart at their entrance. The pista and chickoo kulfi was nice to end our lunch. The place is quite busy and hence a reservation is certainly recommended and if you are going as a group ask for the round table which can seat 6-7 people. Service is good and you will have some good recommendation from Irene who was friendly and we hope this place remains the same in terms of food, service and price :)

Awesome � atmosphere with superb Goan food � and lovely � live music �. The prices of the food � is reasonable and a good selection. If you dine on a Thursday, one may have to wait for a table and once the order has been placed, it takes at least 25 to 30 minutes for the food to arrive. We were served with a squid dish and by the time the main course arrived the dish was cold. The staff are friendly and courteous. Ample parking and good location. Cheers!

The food is extra ordinary and service is excellent and the interior set up is unique from the other restaurant which i have dined in. The ambience is perfect for a quite evening dinner either be with your loved ones or with your friends. An amazing place to unwind. And definitely a place to visit for any occasion. Will recommend the place.

We ordered the burnt garlic chicken (dry) and their chilli crab. The burnt garlic chicken was delicious and chicken was succulent unfortunately for the chilli crab though the sauce was faultless but the crab itself wasn’t fresh. We will be back there to try their other dishes

I absolutely loved the food, i could smell great food from afar! I was sold long before i got unto the restaurant because of the live singer! Would def recommend it!

There is no place better than GRUBSHACK to go out for a meal in Dubai.. Their Food is simply addictive and awesome. I have had multiple business meetings birthday parties and simple family outing for a dinner at my favourite place,GRUBSHACK...always served well and well taken care of.Reasonable pricing , central location , plenty of parking around are additional attractions Will keep coming .. Nice chilled out restaurant with good food. Everything from the pan rolls and potato chops to the beef chilli roast and chicken cafreal were delicious... Would recommend it if you're craving some good Goan food

Was just passing and thought it looked interesting, had good service, very good food. Both yasmine and Ethan enjoyed the food, both trying new things. Well worth a Visit. Met one of the owners Gemma who was lovely and is also the chef for the Goan food too. We will be back soon! They also delivery!

This place has a cool environment and you tend to get, so carried away. With the soothing live Band and grate food. Loved the grub and the ambience. 👌

Loved the food and service (Delicious and and quick!). Had the Dahi ke shole and peri peri tandoori chicken in starters, a mango chilli mojito for drinks and the Burnt Chilli manchurian with Schezwan fried rice. The two of us me and the wife absolutely feasted in the food (which was in good portions) and still some leftover! Highly recommended!

Friendly staff, nice atmosphere, great food! Having moved here from Texas, I was surprised to hear American Country music playing in an Indian restaurant frequented by locals and Indian expats. Added some fun and serendipity to a delicious meal! We will go back!

First time I visited the place and I loved it! Quite amazing portions of food which was unexpected! The food got to the table quite immediately and taste wise it's definitely worth a visit!

I had gone here with meat eating friends, I saw them devouring their meat but us vegetarians were really disappointed. We got the few snacks that were available but sadly both of them had cheese - cheese wontons 3.5/5<br/>Jalapeno cheese sticks - 4.5<br/>Those were the only snacks we could find.<br/>The main course also lacked options so we went for garlic burnt noodles which was 2/5 because it was very burnt and tasted sour. <br/><br/>The home brewed lemon iced tea was average.<br/>I don't know if it's worth going there again. I would not especially order from this place. Would rather go to some other restaurant than pay 2 times more for average food.<br/>

The place is very good for Goan cuisine. All the dish tried till date has not disappointed us. More over they also got Bombay food which we need to try out next time. I’m sure those should also be good!

A Goan cuisine restaurant is very rare to find in Dubai and I wanted to visit this one as soon as I heard about it. Its a got a beautiful and rustic ambience with live music playing all day. I tried a few of their best sellers<br/><br/>Cheese Chutney Bombs (2 large deep-fried potato patties filled with cheese and green chutney)<br/>Firecracker prawns (Crispy fried shrimps tossed in a spicy and tangy sauce, served on a bed of lettuce. Very similar to dynamite prawns)<br/>Chicken Cafreal (A Portuguese chicken gravy with green herbs and Goan spices. Perfectly complimented by white rice/Portuguese bread)<br/>Portuguese Bread (A traditional oven-baked sweet bun-shaped bread)<br/>Kata Khat on the road (Kaala katta flavoured drink with a hint of mint)<br/><br/>The food was well-portioned, though slightly pricey. Was quite disappointed that they did not have two of their best sellers available. Overall, a good experience.

An amazing place for foodies with an extra spice of live music.. All the dishes we ordered were worth trying and were very delivious. A million thanks to MICHELLE for arranging the Beef Chilli Fried Rice upon my special request. A very nice and friendly lady who is always there for you with a smile. Thanks again Michelle for getting me the dish I wanted to have specifically. Ambiance is amazing and a must visit place!

We have visited this place with my friends . we tried the Biryani , the Biryani was awesome . haven’t tried this kind of Biryani in Dubai yet . the only thing we were missing was the Kulfi but we had theirs special Rasmalai & Gajar halwa which were Awesome as well . love to visit again <br/>

If I could have given a negative rating or even a zero, I would have. After hearing so many good reviews from friends, we finally tried this place out. The aroma leading up to the restaurant was excellent and we were super excited. The ambience was wonderful and super comfy. The drinks were good too. Then came the food! I cannot even think of a single good thing to say about the food. And it was so expensive. Even if i ignore the quality for a moment, the quantity was barely sufficient! All i can say is that eating here has made me appreciate the leftovers that i had back home. Im super surprised how this place has such a high rating! We were a table of 4 people with extremely varied choices and taste buds and not a single person enjoyed their meal. We were actually hungry after leaving the restaurant as none of us finished the food served here. Very disappointed!

Trip 2 was due along with a review, so without delay let's give the experience a replay. Social distancing guidelines followed, courteous staff and comfy home food. Ordered beef pan rolls, homemade pulao and beef vindaloo. The meal was incomplete though. Maybe it was the expectation that we had from grub shack or the thought of eating the same food that we cook at home for thrice the price. Nonetheless, thank you guys for hosting us.

Had a wonderful time at Grub Shack yesterday evening with family. The ambiance is beautiful. Located at a peaceful and calm area. This was my first visit to Grub Shack and we loved it. Had Prawn Crackers and Dahi ke Sholay for starters. Then we had Double Decker, Junglee Pulav, Burnt Garlic Chicken, Portuguese Bread with Chicken Xacuti and the unique Masala Tea. All the dishes were so delicious. Michelle who cared for us is so courteous, friendly and helpful. Will surely visit again. Thanks Mascaenhas family for setting up this beautiful diner. We have been to the restaurant quite a few times and have always been delighted with the food and service. We had a nice time at the restaurant and it is never easy with 2 little kids but Michelle was very helpful and catered to all our needs very well. She was kind and patient enough to help us with the acts of terror perpetrated by our babies that struck us which included spilling a full glass of pina colada over the entire length and breadth of our table, spreading food to every nook and corner within a 5 meter radius, emptying 2 boxes of tissues which were strewn all over the restaurant ( to name few). We were exhausted by the shenanigans of our babies but we had Michelle to our rescue. So enjoyed the food but was more delighted with the customer service.

The food was hot and delivered on time but absolutely spicy! I complained to them and someone from their team addressed my concerns the next day. They sent across another dish which had balanced spice levels. I would give them an extra star for customer centricity.

It really upsets me that I have to write this review for a restaurant I used to love but they got everything so wrong <br/><br/>- Dahi ke sholey - This was oily way above permissible limits. I love me some deep fried but we couldn’t have more than a bite of this <br/><br/>- Mutton Rogan josh - The mutton was reallly undercooked. We struggled with our cutlery, teeth and hands and finally gave up and asked them to replace this dish<br/><br/>-Chicken Tikka Masala - The only acceptable sweet Indian chicken is butter chicken. This was too sweet ( even for a sweet tooth like me )<br/><br/>We were considering dessert since we didn’t want to leave the restaurant hungry but we were too scared to do so.<br/><br/>From a previous fan to a disgruntled customer , Grubshack...please take note.

I was wanting to try this restaurant since a long time . Finally got to visit on a weekend with minimal seating avalaible indoors . So if your planning to visit kindly do the reservation and go . Outdoor seating is avalaible but depends if it’s too cold or hot no one would prefer sitting out . Ambiance was to dark and noisy . Dint like the live music and our seating was so close to the stage means it was too packed up . They should work on their seating arrangement . We had people sitting right behind us being too loud which made us uncomfortable but had no options. <br/><br/>Being a blogger I was offered two complimentary drinks . Jack Frost and Passion fruit explosion both being averagely good it’s a must try. <br/><br/>And I used my Zomato gold membership for the overall bill I was discounted. manager could t handle our complaint. It’s really sad that this place has joined the entertainer with buy one get one free main course offer, and they deduct the 15 Dhs plain white rice. Such a shame...I really wanted to give them more stars, but they didn’t seem to care that I wouldn’t visit again. The “manager” was insisting that that is the owner’s rule. That feels tricky and I will not visit again!

Decided to visit this place on Valentine's Day based on the wonderful reviews,but was extremely disappointed. Its a highly overrated place. They were charging AED 199 per couple & the food options was equal to nil. Place was too noisy. Starters were stone cold. When we brought this to the staff's attention response was "Its pre- prepared & kept in the kitchen hence must be cold" - woww amazing answer 👌👌.<br/>So called buffet hardly had any options. Again the food was mostly cold & not at all worth the price paid. Even a small cafeteria produces better quality food.<br/>A special evening was ruined because of this place.

Absolutely loved it!! 4 of us just got back from here and boy was it bloody good!<br/><br/>Let's start with location; it's prominently situated but the parking, albeit present, is a little congested. No biggie, but just FYI. The ambience and decor however is top notch, it's like a much classier version of a Goan cafe, with warm lighting and dainty stuff on the walls. There's two TVs playing pics of the food as a slideshow, along with videos featuring the founder, head chef and a few food bloggers. That gets you drooling immediately!!<br/>Ample seating, and friendly staff. Tables spaced adequately from each other, underrated feature in many restaurants, and has a couple of 8-tops, along with 3 booths seating 6 comfortably. Outdoor seating present too, which is beautiful in the current weather.<br/><br/>Very elaborate menu, a lot of items, and it's hard to really pick just a few. We got the GS Special Chicken Biryani, Chicken 65, Burnt Garlic & Chilli Noodles (Mix) and Prawn Chilli Fry. Good, aromatic biryani, with really well cooked chicken; very good quantity too. The noodles had a very good amount of meat mixed in, vibrant red colour, and just the right amount of spice. Not too much garlic, and overall really delicious. The Prawn Chilli Fry did disappoint a little, with a lot of potatoes and peppers in the mix, with a much lesser than expected amount of prawns, but man were those prawns BIG. Really juicy and well-cooked. The star of the show however was the Chicken 65! Saucy preparation, with a little tinge of heat at the end, they were boneless chunks of chicken, cooked to tenderness, and soaked in flavor. From the sauce to the meat, there were no flaws. The decision was unanimous, the Chicken 65 won the night.<br/><br/>We also got the Peach Iced Tea (lots of little peach bits in, garnished with a slice of peach on the rim) and a Yuzu Lemon Mint Mojito (tangy, chilling and refreshing, everything you'd expect).<br/><br/>Overall, I give this a 5/5 because where a couple of small niggles presents themselves, we also got really good live entertainment, with a Filipino duo strumming away some real classics, including HINDI numbers!! Loved the experience, and 10/10 would go again. The serving size is so sooo small for the cost of the dishes , we had ordered fish tikka and literally got tiny and bloody pcs of hard fish, i was shocked at the portion for the price . The fried rice were also the same tiny amount of food, they really need to work on the portions its not even enough for one person.

The corporate lunch (Biryani, Chana Masala, Tandoori roti, Cheese Burst & Lime Soda) is a superb "value for money" treat. Lots of other options to choose.<br/>All staff are courteous.. Allen is polite and friendly, and is professional the way he serves.<br/>The Biryani is awesome.. and is my "regular" favourite !!!

Most expensive & worst biryani I have ever had. We have ordered fish tikka , which was hard not not at all tender. When my wife told them about the fish tikka, they’ve replied because it was cooked in tandoor this was the reason for the dry and hardness. Are you guys kidding? I will not suggest this place to anyone, price is high for no good reason. chilly chicken was sweet..

Lovely ambience ...live music ,awesome food ,all staffs are very friendly and cordial ..specially Katrina ..who guided us well.

We like the food specialy the double decker and special thanks to Michelle for her service, we will come back to try some other dish😊

Love the food here!!! Be it Goan, Chinese or North Indian, all their food has so much flavor. We just ordered chicken fried rice and beef chili.

I went to this place for team lunch. We ordered many starters and then main course. Starters were nice, quantity was also good. But main course were not good. Daal makhani had toor daal which is definitely not its ingredient. It tasted different and nobody ate it. Overall place is warm and welcoming. Staff is good as well.

Visited this place yesterday for dinner with mates, and it was an awesome experience.<br/>Allen helped us to decide on items from the menu as we were not so familiar with the names of Indian food and his suggestion was great. Tawa tandori chicken biryani was awesome & so was the Crab roast masala. The drums of heaven lived up to the name, Heavenly.<br/>Will definitely visit again soon n try more items from the great selection of dishes available.

Had Pleasure having Brunch at the Grub Shack. Allen and his staff were excellent in customer service. Looking forward to visit again.

Employees' lack of authenticity when ordering food and their failure to deliver meals according to the presence of customers. If someone after me came, they could deliver him his request and he was waiting. I would not advise it.

Amazing food as always...we tried the munna bhai tawa chicken...veg manchurian ...schezwan veg noodles and chicken tikka masala<br/><br/>Michel was a great host for us.<br/><br/>She was kind enough to recommend us a desert the Red velvet cake with oreo...which was just Ahmaaaazinggg...

As goes my first experience to Grub Shack, I enjoyed a delightful Friday night with close friends & family.<br/><br/>Our server Michelle was kind enough to assist us correctly in what to order being our first time to a goan chinese cuisine and was friendly too to make us feel more comfortable in the live music environment.<br/><br/>The food had alot of flavour especially the Mango goan prawn curry even though the quantity of the prawns were slightly less for small prawns or could recommend them to keep tiger prawns as a customer feedback statement from my side.<br/><br/>I'd rate my experience 4/5 and would definitely like to come back sometime to order other dishes at Grub Shack.

The food was excellent.. the staff was friendly and the whole atmosphere had a good vibe.. Michelle and Katrina were also very hospitable and friendly.. they made our visit memorable.. highly recommend this place ..

Writing this review after a week from the visit.We happened to check out this place on zomato to celebrate my birthday. Indeed we were glad we opted for it.<br/>Located at a quaint corner at DHC, the ambiance was beautiful and food was amazing!! <br/>The live music made it even more better. Thanks to the guys who made such an effort to learn songs in various languages to please the crowd.<br/>Michelle and Katherina were our servers for the night and no doubt they deserve a lot of appreciation for their service and suggestions.<br/>The food was yummmm specially the firecracker prawns would love to eat it all over again.. thank you for the suggestion katherina <br/>My friend planned a surprise with them to bake a cake n celebrate my birthday.<br/>That made me speechless♥️<br/>The cake was so delicious,moist n melt in the mouth(we finished the entire cake even though we were full with the food already)<br/>Thank you Grub shack for making it a memorable day to remember 👍🏻 will come back again for sure and recommend it to everyone😊

Me and my friend have been to this place and were amazed by how the people served us. from the starters,main course, drinks and the live band, specially the service of staff was very polite. Special thanks to the Filipina staffs, the singer (Monica) who entertained us by her talent. to Michelle and Katrina our hosts who are professionals, and thanks also to the new lady who welcomed us warmly. Definitely will be back soon! 😊

A very lively and happening place usually with live music. The Corporate lunch combo is one of my favourite, without not much of a waiting time when u r in the run & preety decent quantity and content of the Combo.<br/>Staffs are welcoming & friendly. Allen, who serves me most of the time, is very polite and professional.<br/>A "must try" place if you havnt visited yet. Variety of options for sea food lovers too, gaon style of food to check out if u are not in rush.. A combination of Good food with good Service!!! Bravo

The place never disappoints me whenever I come to enjoy both excellent food and listen to great songs. Kudos for the spicy and mouth-watering chicken Cafreal and the fantastic performer Monica. Also a big shout out to Katrina and Allen for the amazing service. That praise also extends to Michelle and all staff that makes this place not a Shack but a Cadillac!

Had dinner with my family at Grub Shack after seeing the 4.6 Zomato rating of the restaurant. Unfortunately, tonight’s experience was less than underwhelming. Ordered the following:<br/>Drums of Heaven - 3/5<br/>Munna Bhai Tawa Tandoori Chicken - 2/5<br/>Chilli Chicken - 1/5<br/>Burnt Garlic & Chilli Fried rice - 4/5<br/>Garlic Naan - 4/5<br/>Kulfilicious Kulfi - 5/5<br/><br/>We asked the waitress for recommendations for starters and the mains. These were some of the popular dishes (non-seafood) ordered. <br/>Our experience: The taste was less than average; the portion size was abysmal and the pricing for the food is unnecessarily high. Even the wait staff looked like they were interested in chatting with each other rather than taking care of their customers. Only saving grace was the Kulfi from kulfilicious and the fact that they still have 1-1 on Zomato Gold.

I had high expectations for the place.. Went to celebrate my husband's birthday.. Cosy place but the food was a complete disappointment. We went in for a nice goan meal.. The king fish didn't taste fresh and the prawns biryani was a let down. The staff were friendly but did not explain the dishes.. Something as important as the prawn curry has a dried prawns gravy. In short not worth it and wouldn't go back or recommend the place..

It's an fusions goan Chinese food restaurant which provides class service and some top notch dishes with a twist of their own. Their dishes will make sure that it's not the last time that you try them... I tried their 2 drinks, the jalapeno pani puri and Rangeela cart.. Jalapeno pani puri- As weird as the combination sounds this drink will totally get you lost into its flavour with the spice of pani puri the slight ting of jalapeno which is an icing over the cake. Totally recommend it!<br/><br/>Rangeela Kart- Its is a kart carrying the weight of 6 different flavours, it Is pretty unlikely that you wouldnt want more of those 6 shots.. their flavours range from mango and chilli( personally recommend it) ,watermelon ,lemon and mint, passion fruit, blue lagoon and strawberry. <br/>"Jalapeno cheese burst" - It is jalapeno cheese sticks with a slight twist. It has a perfect blend of cheese and spice into it. Served in a cute little tricycle. It is a must try dish, priced at 25dhs.<br/>Overall its just a heaven for all foodies<br/><br/>.<br/><br/>.<br/><br/>.<br/><br/>Rating :<br/><br/>Taste- 5/5<br/><br/>Service- 5/5<br/><br/>Value for money- 3.7/5

The food was worth trying, just hoped that the service staff could be more courteous and proactive. We had requested for a certain amendment which was acknowledged but eventually ignored.

We decided to try Grub Shack for the first time last night, having heard so much about it, and we were absolutely thrilled with our decision! <br/><br/>From the moment we walked in, we were greeted with such warmth. <br/><br/>We had already decided what we wanted to eat however changed our minds when our server, the lovely Michelle, recommended we try the fiery wok prawns - we were not disappointed! We ordered it along with the burnt garlic and chili veg fried rice - so yum!! For starters we had the potato chops (so flavourful - crispy on the outside and soft on the inside) and the stir fried drums of heaven - which were so so SO good!! It’s quite a generous portion so definitely enough for two to three people. <br/><br/>Unfortunately we didn’t have enough room for dessert (defo going to save space for that next time) however Michelle gave me a cutting chai on the house which was a lovely end to the evening. <br/><br/>Price wise it is a little dear however it is worth it as the portions are fantastic and the quality of food surpasses our expectations! <br/><br/>As an added bonus, we were treated to live music :)<br/><br/>We are definitely coming back with family!!!

This place tosses up some tasty food. Been here twice and I’ve enjoyed the food, ambience and service. Their starters are great and they have a lot of good variety in Indian, Chinese and Goan cuisines! <br/><br/>The staff is helpful and suggests items as per your liking & taste!<br/>They usually have a live singer on weekends who is really good & they are on Zomato Gold so it’s a win win :)
