An amazing evening at Katsuya. From the moment we walked in the service was exceptional. Our waitress, Rica, was so welcoming, informative and incredibly helpful in recommending dishes for us to try. We could not fault the food. The sashimi, sushi and other dishes were exceptional. The black miso cod was a standout. Thank you Rica for enhancing our dining experience - you are a true gem.

Paid a family visit to this lovely place on Saturday last week. Ordered: - Crispy soft-shell crab - Edamame - Seared tuna tacos - Crab salad - Wagyu fillet with foie gras - Wasabi mashed potato - Miso-marinated black cod - Sunset roll - Brownie toban - Yuzu tart Excellent service, top-notch food and wonderful presentation of it will make you savor every single bite. Thank you for the experience.

So we went for our daughters 18th birthday. Had heard about this place so decided to go and it’s 5 mins away from us so even better. Cleanliness and hygiene spot on. Happily moved us to a bigger table. The waitress was friendly. The male waiter was less so. Asked about a certain starter and he just said ‘oh it’s not on the menu.’ So we ordered something else. Black cod was incredible. As was the tuna taco. The veg tempura was quite bland. When we later asked the lady waitress about the item that was apparently not on the menu...oh it is on the menu ma’am. Not sure why he said it isn’t. There weren’t that many ppl in the restaurant for obvious reasons but the service was a little slow. The bday molten cake which we thought was complimentary as we said it was a bday was charged. Be prepared to spend a lot of money in this place as it’s not cheap. I think bread and butter will be on the menu in our house for a while!

I booked in advance a table and when we arrived to Al naseem there was novalet parking. We were told to park ourselves down and lost 15 min to find the exit doir which were indicated as services door. When we arrived in the restaurant the occidental lady at the reception was arrogant and told us our table was given to someone else. Having our number they could have called us. At the end the supervisor managed to give us a table after 15 min.

Jury’s the reason we keep coming back. My husband is sensitive to Soy Sauce so it’s very difficult for me to enjoy Japanese or any Asian without him being upset or unhappy about the food. Jury knew the dishes inside out, what had soy and what didn’t, and even recommended her own customized dishes. Really thankful for her service because now I can keep coming to Katsuya with my husband and we can both enjoy our meals happily. Thank you Jury! Hope you can see this

The atmosphere of this restaurant was perfect🙌🏽 .. we had the japanese octopus which is not something i would order usually but i read good reviews and decided to try it (did not disappoint). The crunchy corn roll and California roll were delicious as well.. we were serviced by Ben, such a great and friendly guy.. definitely recommend

One of my favorite restaurants in Dubai, as I tried both brunches at Naseem and Dubai Mall For tonight our waiter was Ben who was very polite and nice. For starter, I would recommend Shrimp Tempura and spicy edamame. For main, rice with mushroom. For sushi, corn crunch, rock n roll, and hollywood. Drinks , katsuya krush.

I’ve visited the Katsuya in Dubai Mall but this is my first time at this location. We ordered the following things: - Creamy rock shrimp – it was not too bad, as expected - Crispy rice with spicy tuna – really enjoyed this - Yellowtail Sashimi – got this as recommended by our waiter; didn’t enjoy the flavours of this dish - Black cod – this was average as well; I’ve had softer and more flavoured cod at other restaurants - Double Double – this was good. Overall the service was excellent and the seating was comfortable. I enjoyed the ambience.

The staff lied to me about having fresh wasabi and asked me to charge for it, then they brought me a mix of herbs saying its fresh wasabi. I got personally offended and the staff then admitted that its not fresh wasabi.

One of my top 5 seafood restaurants in Dubai. We ordered from everything labeled with Siganture in Menu. Try siganture items there only. The Crab Avocado salad had an amazing mouth feeling and refreshing. The Tuna Sashimi was as fresh as it was Swimming 10 minutes ago. Best tuna sashimi I ever had. The Grilled and fried shrimps was tasty and sauce was just right. And the siganture fish, ohh my that tasted from paradise I loved the friendly service, relaxing atmosphere with nice view on the turtle lake

I had a good dinner experience last night. The ambiance, the food, music and the complete customer experience we deserve. When we entered the restaurant, we were greeted by a friendly smiles of all the staffs. I remember Judith assisting us all through our dining. Fellow readers, I encourage you to dine at this phenomenal place if you haven’t already. Their food is fresh, flavorful and just simply delicious! Can’t stress it enough. I ordered so much more than the pictures but barely remembered to take photos of the other dishes. The salad, pot, sushi and yellowtail was all super good I don’t have one compliant or bad remark. It is slightly pricey but alright for the taste you’re getting. Also, if you go in the morning/afternoon you’ll get to take on the views, maybe see the turtles from your table if you’re lucky.
