The place to go to celebrate a special occasion in an elegant atmosphere. The meat is excellent (we loved the port wine sauce and creamy spinach too) and the service is very attentive. We went to celebrate my bday and I felt like a princess, thank you for the special treatment!

Fave steakhouse in Dubai! The Tajima Wagyu is my repeat order (with a side of truffle garlic fries OR Mac and cheese- yum) Five star service, thanks to Omar. Great ambience, easy to have a conversation and BOGO offers available on both the Entertainer & Zomato Gold.
The Meydan hotel itself has an amazing, grand feeling to it. The restaurant has a lovely view of the track. The staff were polite, friendly and were always smiling. Impeccable service and the food was cooked exactly as asked. My medium-rare veal was perfectly pink in the center. The red velvet cake makes a good dessert. Definitely worth s visit.
The taste of the steak is excellent and jucy. The staff are so friendly. Ambience is quite and the view is really nice during the sunset time

Thinking back to the delightful dinner we had in Prime Steakhouse, I cannot think of anything that could have been better.
From the entrance into the restaurant, the table setting, the menu choices, to the friendliness of the staff, all is spotless.
The food is of such quality; that you want to come back for and the setting very suitable for a special occassion.
We shared a mixed salad and were served an Amuse and bread basket. If I have to name an improvement point: they could have mentioned the different type of breads, as one was with meat on top, which I thought it was sundried tomato and got surprised.
Nevertheless, the breads were tasty and fresh. Also the variety of olive butter, butter and olive oil with balsamico was nice.
The Heirloom tomato Burrata salad was flavourful and right portion. The Label Rouge Chicken was great too.
On the side Mac & Cheese was creamy with good crust. The Portobello mushrooms were a little acid/sour but ok. Best of all were the grilled Asparagus, just perfect.
The Blueberry cheesecake and the Chocolate fondant were both amazing and the special anniversary cake was the right icing on the cake.
It was a pity it was dark outside so there was no real view and the chairs are a little low. But you will not really notice that, as the atmosphere and piano music will let you forget that.
Manager Omar is certainly doing a great job, making sure its guests have a memorable night out with simple perfection.
Very special thanks to our Lifestyle manager Issam, who arranged the window seating and cake; I could have not wished for a more wonderful night out and would definitely recommend this restaurant to all!

Prime Steak House is the usual destination for most grand occasions. While it is expensive, it is worth it from the views you receive in the morning to the calming ambience in the evening. You will feel the need to take pictures of yourself in most locations as well as your food so charge up your cameras. It has a comfy, quiet and relaxed atmosphere you can go to with low-key music for a celebration or a nice meet-up with friends and family.
We've been here twice to celebrate birthdays and never left disappointed. The service you receive is spectacular and falls nothing short of exemplary, the staff are warm and friendly always willing to help or alter things to cater to and suit your needs. I would say the one thing about this place that may spoil your experience is you might have to wait a while for your main course to show up but it always passes by quickly for us as this is our chance to have a nice talk and catch up.
For our starters, we ordered a bottle of champagne because nothing screamed the word celebration more than a bottle of bubbly. We then ordered a cheese platter and received a rather large sampling, and some of the cheese even got sliced fresh in front of our eyes (we did order this a while back and are not sure if this is still on the menu). We have tried out several different cuts of meat in medium rare and have always enjoyed it, the meat melts in your mouth while subtly letting all the flavours fill your mouth and roll off your tongue. If you feel overwhelmed by their large beef selection we would highly recommend going for the world-renowned Tajima Wagyu Beef this is a must try and you won't ever regret your choice.
We also decided to branch out from beef and tried out their seafood. We ordered their Atlantic Lobster Thermidor which was excellent and had its flavour hit just right note where it was seasoned perfectly but they took into account the flavour of lobster and chose not to overpower the true flavours. However, if we had a choice between the Beef and Lobster, we would always go for the beef again hands down.
All in all, this is a place you should visit once to try their world-renowned Tajima Wagyu Beef as it changes the way you perceive great beef. The experience from the treatment you receive here is always accommodating and there's further good news if you have the entertainer you can get a buy one get one free.

We went to this (deserted) hotel for a lovely dinner. Nothing to do with the restaurant, but what is this monolithic empty hotel doing here? Shocking. Anyway…
We were the only ones in the restaurant on a Wednesday at 8pm. Which says more about where it is then the food. The food is really delicious. The steak and sides are as good as any steak house in Dubai. My steak was cooked perfectly and was grilled super hot, coming out just right with the crisp and seasoning. Steak loves salt. The price is similar to JW's, and the steak almost as good. The the sides are really good, but stay away from the lobster Mac and Cheese - it doesn't have any lobster pieces in it (at least mine didn't) and instead is made with a lobster reduction that gives the flavor - a small amount of flavour - basically its a pretty lousy dish.
Starters are quite nice as well, foie and ravioli. The other other complaint is that the ravioli starter is actually quite large - sounds like a weird complaint, but it meant that my partner was almost full for the main event of steak! Also the ravioli pasta was VERY thick, like double what it should be. The wine list is extensive, and the service excellent. The decor is a bit over the top and is a little like what someone with terrible taste would design a fist class lounge like. My sofa/chair had a back that reached up a meter above my head and the waitress had trouble moving it. Shenanigans.
Great restaurant, great steak, great service. Eat here.

favourite steakhouse in the country. Order the pan seared foie gras (butter from God), Tajima Wagyu Tenderloin (atleast 300 gms)...they will even give you options for knives. Its a great spot for a date. Ask for the table near the windows overlooking the Meydan racecourse.
Absolutely fabulous and very romantic. Took my wife there for her birthday. We were promptly seated in a "Bay Window " area with a great view of the track. As soon as our drinks were served we were treated to an impressive fireworks display which felt like it was arranged for the birthday celebration. Service was the best I have experienced anywhere in Dubai. The food was excellent and the 35% discount for using an Emirates NBD card was certainly the cherry on the top. Look forward to visiting again, hopefully during the racing season

The N.1 place for a Romantic dinner.
We didn't visited this restaurant in about 2 years but everything remained the same, look, food and service.
When we arrived to the venue, we felt already felt special already due to the glorious look and feel. The service is friendly, attentive and not intrusive.
Food: started with pigeon breast served with cherry reduction, moved to yellow and red tomato soup and the 200gr. Prime filet served with a lobster ravioli as a main course was simply amazing, every bite was melting down and I almost didn't needed to cut the steak.
Value for money considering the quality and the look & feel is all there.

I am in the mood to vent out about a lot of things happening lately but I won’t, not because I don’t want to, but because If I start, it won’t end . (I am happy to have a one on one with any reader for advice) The Kela has helped me a lot throughout the last few months; it’s not only a food blog but also sort of a diary where I get to share and reflect on aspects of my personal life. And whether we’ve met or not, readers have helped me out only by showing interest, reading and listening in a way or another. ( I am starting to sound too creepy, I know. See I told you I shouldn’t start)
Anyways, back to the Food HAPPY Life I carry (Food always brings happiness, doesn’t’ it? ). My husband and I always go to steakhouses for occasions until last year where we ran out of options. (or at least thought that we ran out of them) I was very happy when I got invited to Prime Steakhouse because you know, finally a steakhouse that I haven’t heard of. (How dare I not hear of it?) Prime is located in the fancy shmancy (I am sounding sarcastic but I don’t mean it that way) Meydan Hotel. (I love the Meydan!) The luxurious décor of the hotel makes you feel all elegant and reassured about the restaurant you’re going to.
We were greeted by the friendly hostess and she walked us to our table. The restaurant has a full view of the Meydan Racecourse and we were lucky enough to get a table right next to the window. (always ask for a table next to the window when you book). Big beige carpet with white oriental designs, huge arm chairs with, gold and black tables and shiny cutlery & glasses ; that’s what Prime is all about. Throughout the dinner,the manager was consistently visiting our table (he had great knowledge of the menu) and the server was always there to assist. Right on the edge of the restaurant, there is a smokers ' room with edgy leather sofas for addicts like myself.
What did we order?
Starters
Steak Tartare: Artisanal Bread, egg yolk, capers, onion and Cyprus sea salt. Very well seasoned. I order the steak tartare everywhere I go and this is by far of the best tartars I had.
Scallops: with carrots and beetroots puree. These are the BEST scallops I’ve had in my life! Cooked to perfection with very rich flavors; beetroot being the dominant one.
Burrata: served with red, yellow and green organic tomatoes. Burrata was so creamy and the tomatoes so FRESH. I would add a little more salt to it though and more basil to strengthen the aromas.
Steaks
*you get to pick your knife before getting your steak. I thought it was cool and worth mentioning*
Filet: I never go for a Filet because I always get disappointed by the dryness of the meat. ( a little fat in the meat is always good) I was a bit bummed when the manager suggested I should go for one but I agreed as I didn't want to disappoint him. Thank God I did! This is the BEST Filet I’ve ever had. Wow! Cooked as per my liking (medium) and actually juicy.
Ribeye: My favorite cut of meat. My husband ordered it and it was actually very good. I liked my Filet better though. :)
Sides
Creamed Spinach: needs a little more salt but still good.
Gratin: Loved it.
Garlic and Roasmary Roasted: Oulala! My favorite side dish.
Asparagus: Good.
Desserts
Roasemary Crème Brulee: Rosemary and Dessert; not a good combo in my opinion.
Fondant au Chocolat: Loved it.!The strawberries on side are spectacular. The ice cream too :)
Overall, I am very happy to have visited Prime.I literally found myself a new favorite spot in Dubai and I cant wait to visit again! (Bill for 2 will be 1,000 AED +)

one of the beat steakhouse at town if not the best. I went their celebrating a birthday. I made the reservation an hour before. the service, the place and the food were great. when u sit at your table you feel isolated from other tables which gives the privacy needed for your special events. this restaurant is highly recommended.
The food was good but nothing too great or extraordinary. The crab cake and the grilled chicken was very ordinary and lacked flavor. The Wagyu steak was delicious but I feel a little over priced.
The restaurant however, has a very good Ambiance. Our table was on the corner like I requested it to be and it was very romantic and peaceful. The staff was very friendly and cooperative. They gave us a birthday cake as it was my husbands birthday. I wouldn't mind going there again. Can't say I loved it, but I really liked it.
Try any steak you will love it , the caesar salad with chicken also amazing . You must try the creme brûlée as desert also . The staff are so kind and professional moreover the pianist brought a nice atmosphere to the amazing resturant design .
Good steaks, the sides are tasty. I tried the BBQ sauce.
The salt is slightly on the higher side.
I don't like the massive chairs, they only look grande, not comfortable at all.

Great place with good quality of steaks. But I think that the salad part still can be improved. Rocket salad was just too flat and really (sorry to say that) not the value of money that it has. Also waiters can be more alive and interact with the guest. Feeling like they just giving the menu and waiting for your order only. No suggestion or representation of the restaurant. But in general it is a nice place with really good view and ambiance.

This was my first visit to Prime steakhouse at Meydan. The ambiance was warm and pleasant even though the interior decor appears to be a hotch potch of incongruous styles. The double height ceiling gives a wonderful sense of space while the massive chairs (at some of the couples window nooks) that we sat at give a contrasting feeling of coziness and privacy.
The steak (always the tenderloin for me) was mediocre, the most irksome point being that it was overdone. I like my meat medium or medium-well depending on how done-ness terms are defined. I got a well done tenderloin (by the restaurant's own definition of the term). The roast root vegetables were done to perfection and adequately portioned for a single portion. The complimentary anniversary cake was a nice touch.
The service was very good, as you'd expect from a premium restaurant, and really couldn't be faulted.
At the end of the day though, this is a steakhouse. And, however good the frills and trimmings are, the most important category has got to be the steak.
Been a while since we had been at Prime, and we had good memories of the time we were there last – it seemed to be more highly rated then than it is now. Having read recent reviews with some trepidation, decided to give it a go. Arrived at 9 p.m. with a reservation and we were promptly seated at our table. The nice thing about this restaurant is the seating you are offered if you are a couple. Two really comfy chairs which could double as mini-thrones, overlooking the race track – a cosy environment. Service is a bit slow (as we had read in recent reviews) but the staff were polite and friendly.
We had the duck liver to start and both of us opted for the grain fed wagyu. The steak was top notch and served just right, Took a long while to get our food, and a bit of time to get our bill as well. But these were not significant dampeners. All in all, a great meal in a nice setting. We will be back..

Aah, the perfect place finally for a good steak in Nad al Sheba. THey have a huge selection of steaks to select from, with the Beef steak being the star amongst all the items on the menu.. The meat is succulent and tender and well fired up for that perfect soft feel of the steak inside your mouth. If your the steak person with some wine to go with, here is the perfect place for you
