A fine dine restaurant with Fine food Must say that this place is so true to its taste. Food: Tried their amazing starters creamy rock shrimp, it was crunchy fresh and delicious. Also tried crispy rice with spicy tuna, it just melts in your mouth however it’s too mouthful for one bite but it’s worth it 😍 now on the main course I ordered for Seafood Yakisoba, it was heavenly with mussels shrimps and stuffed squids😍😍 it was the best noodles that I have had so far. Now on the desserts... drumrolls please ‘castella cake’ this was suggested by the staff and I really loved it. Ambience: they have beautiful large outdoor seating area which is great during summer nights and best in the winter as the outdoor has the amazing fountain view. Staff: well trained experienced staff. They give good recommendations from the menu. Must try: Creamy rock shrimp Castella cake Katsuya crush

My go to place for sushi, I loved the Hollywood roll and the one with the shrimp dynamite on top (don’t remember the name but the waiter will know) and for starters the spicy edamame was so tasty. I will probably go there again.

Very average food. Ordered the crab salad it was average. Tasted so much better with a much cheaper price. Ordered the rock shrimps wasn’t very good. Was oily and it tasted like old oil. Had the steak with mushrooms- portion was so small and wasn’t well seasoned. Weird after taste. Sushi was very basic. Had the California roll. Had a passion fruit mojito and it was the best thing out of what we ordered. Ended up paying 500+ aed. A price almost similar to a fine dining restaurants. Too over priced for less than basic food. Service was good. Waiter was nice. There was no wipes. I understand we’re in a pandemic and they stopped their wet towel service but they could get wet wipes. Bathrooms aren’t even close. I honestly expected more for the price. Would never go again and id never recommend it.

The place is great as usual and I’m a big fan. Whenever I’m visiting dubai I love to enjoy my meal here. Today leah helped me to try new things and one of the recommendations was the salmon lemon roll the lemon slice added a very great taste that I never experienced before. If you are a sushi lover, then Katsuya is the best restaurant to try their assorted platter of sushis. Its location is just perfect. You get the view fountain near Dubai mall. The outdoor seating is the perfect place to enjoy your sushi during winters. A great place to satisfy your craving. The pricing though its a little expensive but worth the price. The ambience is perfect.

Had crispy rice with duck & seafood noodles, I was disappointed that the portion of noodles was too little. I wish there was more to the noodles, tempura in the noodles bowl which made it lose all its crunchiness. Nevertheless everything was okay.

First experience at Katsuya Dubai Mall was amazing! We came on a Thursday night and the restaurant was very busy. We asked the hostess for a table next to the fountain but she informed us that all tables were occupied. We got another table and after a few minutes one of the managers came to our table and he told us that there was a table ready for us next to the fountain. The view was amazing and the food was excellent! Service was very proper and our waiter gave us good recommendations. Best Japanese food we have ever tried!! Thank you Katsuya!!!

Visited lunch on very quiet day. To my surprise, staff was not attentive at all. I could even see young gentleman, who probably floor manager, was eating in kitchen. He passed by my table so many times, but didn’t even pick up empty dishes, or topup water, or simply say hi, how is dish. On top of that, server delivered a bill when empty dishes were still on my table. 😩
