جو المكان ولا غلطة ماشاءالله .. حسيت المكان مقسّم ل ٣ أقسام، قسم للي يبا يقعد برا- وقسم للي يبا يسمع أصوات - وقسم للي يبا شويّة خصوصية. الموظفة اللي يتنا كانت حبووووبة وايد ماشاءالله. وحبّيت أنه عندهم قسم لtake away, بحيث اللي يبا ياخذ شي يكون جاهز مايضطر يتريا الطلب يخلّص. بالنسبة للأطباق؛ماشاءالله كانت كميّة الأطباق كانت حلوة حتى ماكلناه كله. طلبنا أومليت وي مشروم؛ كان حلو فلَفي جيه، بس ناقصنه ملح وفلفل " بالنسبة لذوقي". والطلب الثاني كان توست وي بيض ومشروم - بعد كان حلو. وطلبنا كابتشينو؛ صراحةً ماحبيت وايد- طعم القهوة كان شوي قوي وحاد. أتوقع برجع للمكان مرة ثانية بإذن الله وبجرّب أكثر عن شي.

This place has really gone downhill. 1) The service was horrendous - we waited forever to have someone bring us a menu and the staff was not attentive at all when we tried to get their attention. 2) The first coffee they brought us tasted burnt so we had to ask for another. 3) We asked for our eggs benny soft and they brought it medium/hard. When we pointed it out then told us they'd bring us another one but never did. 4) We tried to order dessert but again they took forever to bring us the menu so in the end we just left. This place needs stop relying on their "good reputation" (which maybe at one point it had) and really step up their game if they want people to come back. We brought 2 friends with us who had never been and their negative experience was quite embarrassing for us. They said they'd never go back and with good reason. Our experience was so dismal that we felt compelled to speak to the "manager" to give him our feedback. Hopefully he takes it seriously and does something drastic to improve their quality and service.

August 21, 2016: So so so so disappointed. This used to be a solid go-to place. Yet, it looks like its been yet another victim of the 'Dubai-cafe-success-fueled-massive-expansion-gone-horribly-wrong-story' Being in the area, post workout, I was in the mood for something tasty, nutritious and relatively healthy. Walking in, my eyes immediately noticed the veal schnitzel and braised lamb shank. Hoping the server would recommend the lamb shank, I asked for a recommendation between the two. The server did indeed. Now if you google image lamb shank, or are familiar with the anatomy of sheep, or just are a fan of lamb shanks in general, you have an idea of what to expect. I had the same image in my mind - juicy braised meaty shank with some root vegetables. I'd be super satisfied. Not this time - what I got barely filled half the plate. 1 medium-well seared lamb chop plus another piece of lamb about a quarter of the size of my palm. And I'm not a very big guy. That, along with three slices of parsnip, 2 trump-finger sized carrots, a spoonful of what appeared to be beetroot hummus and another indistinguishable, also unflavored vegetable. I really wish I had taken a picture to share with everyone, but I was so hungry that I licked the plate clean. And have just also gotten home to eat more. At least if the meal was flavorful, my review wouldn't have been so harsh. But to pay 89 dirhams for extremely unseasoned, small, and an uninspired meal just makes me angry. It just seems like every time Bull&Roo open a new outlet their previous ones' quality goes down a star. So sad to see.

lets give credit where its due - the very name of the establishment is catchy, and has a zing to it ! Loved the deconstructed, rugged feel and the random pops of bouquets, yoga mats, bicycles for sale..... We ordered the following for brunch:- 1) banana caramel cinamon shake (loved it, was sooo good - the hint of cinamon was perfect and well balanced / was so close to ordering 1 more - most recommended) 2) mint lemonade (was the usual, nothing to write home about, good nevertheless) 3) eggs benedict (was perfection ! Loved the tomoato mix on the side and the bacon - also very well presented - recommended again) 4) pumpkin ravioli (was very excited for this one, and again the tomoates, onions, pumpkin n pasta complimented each other - but the pumpkin stuffing in the ravioli was too bland for my taste, wish there was more seasoning/ i had to add chili flakes to get some flavor going on) 5) coconut yogurt (this one is yum, yum, yum - wish it did not have an assortment of strawberries, berries and other confetti / was slightly overwhelmed - but the actual yogurt was refreshing n filling) 6) bread pudding (full marks to this - light m moist, in every which way - and every bite was rich n delightful) 7) toasted bread loafs (a little too toasted n thick for my liking) The above cost us exactly AED 264 And was worth every penny The wait staff were cheerful, friendly and nice - their uniforms say it all (loved the harness sort of aprons, lol) The food was on time and Parking isnt an issue either (free valet parking for 2 hours and then some ;) ) Most recommended - and hoping to visit them soon Cheers !

I was there for breakfast this weekend. The food was great and the service was good too. However the portions are really really small for coffee and food!!!! The portion what they have to offer is not worth the price you pay for. That is really disappointing. Also they have no extra sides (free) to offer with your breakfast. Not going there back again

Really like Sum of Us but disappointed with presentation of Shakshuka dish. Eggs drowning in the tomato reduction and then served in a dessert bowl with toasted French stick??!....bring back the skillet. Not a good take on a straight forward middle eastern dish. Convinced my visiting Aussie guest to try for the first time, embarrassing.

I want with friend for breakfast, we ordered 5 different dishes from breakfast menu, the chia pudding was so hard and we couldn't eat it, once we call the server to inform him, the surprise he was telling us it's normal,it should be like that even he did not informed the chef, such unprofessional reaction, honestly I will think twice to go back

Okay so. Came here exclusively for the coffee by encounter roasters. Got my self some great Ethiopian kochere, speaking to the barista was a delight. Hope to see the roasters in operation next time. Picked up some bread pudding to go and boy it was delish! The server asked if she wanted it with some ice cream on the side, which I plan to do next time i sit there. The pastry selection did not appeal to me. The fruits seemed a little dried up, is that by design? ( No info on that) I hope you can do something about that. They have valet parking, which at the point I was not aware of and had to buzz around for 40 min for a parking spot. Coming back in a week maybe. Running out of beans here.

Been eyeing this place for a while and finally got a chance to try their in-house made pastries. Their famous Korean style Garlic Bread. Its a garlicky soft bread roll with delicious cream cheese centre. Best served warm. Priced at 28dhs. But worth every penny. I also tried their Taleggio Cheese & Veal Bacon croissant roll and their Pain au Chocolat. Both were insanely delicious.

Went to Sum of Us with great expectations and really excited to try this place out since we heard good reviews on the food and service. But I must say the service was so bad the server taking care of us didn’t really care at all. He took forever to take our order and when we called him once again to ask for another round of a drink and coffee he brought us the bill thinking we were ready to leave. I mean who behaves like that, he should’ve at least asked if we are interested to order something else which is a basic courtesy. Also I didn’t end up getting my coffee only my friend’s green drink arrived, at that point I was too frustrated to ask for the coffee again and just left. Overall we had a very bad service. Even though the food was good but the bad behavior from the server ruined the entire experience. In a city like Dubai service excellence is given top most priority and going into a place like Sum of Us we didn’t even think this would be an issue. Also when we did ask for the bill we waiting about 15-20 minutes but didn’t get it, we decided to walk to the counter and pay for our food there I mentioned to the same server that we were not happy with his service and he couldn’t care less. I understand if the staff is busy and if the cafe was understaffed, but at least he should’ve been polite with us which also he was not. Please look into this I hope this is not a racism issue. That would be really bad for your brand. Hope some action is taken on this. We are also people who just came in to have a good time and food. But sadly our experience here was very poor.

The Sum of Us has been on my list to visit for brunch and I'm glad that I finally did. Even in the midst of a pandemic, the cafe was completely packed on a Saturday for brunch which says a lot about the food served. After a 15 minute wait to get a table, we settled on ordering a couple of hot chocolates and ricotta pancakes. The pancakes were fluffy, less on the sweeter side and were perfectly complimented by passionfruit mascarpone, strawberries and peanut brittle. This has for sure become my go to place when I crave for pancakes. Looking forward to trying out more items from their menu and bakery.

I just loved this place! Bookmarked this cafe since so long but finally tried it on eid weekend. With such great reviews and rating, i went there with high hopes and honestly it was much above my expectations. With amazing options of breakfast, this place serves great coffee and sourdough bread. The taste is amazing. Staff is courteous and its very neat and clean. Do try their avocado toast and acai bowl. Would definitely visit again 👏

Had heard about this place and wanted to go here forever. When I started following sum of Us on insta and saw their amazing food pictures I fell in love with the food and wanted to visit. They have a daily special food item which they post in insta. My only suggestion would b if they could keep the daily special for a week so tat people can get to try it over the weekend too. The place is beautiful and the food is just amazing. Delicious to the core. They have a good amount of options on the menu too, something for everyone. Would love to head back there in the winter and sit outdoor. I would rate them a 5 on 5 but the only concern was the men’s bathroom had three cockroaches; (2 small and 1 big). Cleanliness if very very important at all times and even more during this pandemic situation. Hope they can fix this and we can go back to trying their other specials.

It’s our first time to try this place and it is absolutely fantastic! Another place to sit & work and be creatively inspired! We shared Grilled Prawn Tacos (it’s quite spicy) and Roasted Pumpkin Risotto (heaveeeen!). For drinks we had Blueberry & Mint with Star Anise (a little too tangy) and Raspberry & Peach Lemonades. Will definitely be back and try Encounter coffee! 😻

Ahhh the search is over! Walked from DIFC to the dead end at Fairmont Hotel looking for a place I have seen somewhere in Instagram, but could not remember the name. Did not know where it was exactly...so it was an adventure. Just a minute before giving up... I turned a corner, spotted a small sign and there it was! The place is at the back of Sheraton Hotel, and it was an amazing hole in the wall. Cozy, quiet, and the food? The best! I love trying new desserts and I fell in love with their cruftin—a cross between a croissant and a muffin. Also, they serve the best affogato! And service makes you feel like a VIP! Will definitely go back for more.

Quite disappointing today, we arrived just before 11 on a Saturday morning for brunch. Having dined here before on a couple of occasions we were expecting it to be busy. It wasn’t. Ordered breakfast, waited approximately 45mins before asking/reminding the waiting staff we were still waiting. The food arrived, over cooked and not to the standard or worth the price we pay. Over cooked and generally not good. Plenty of breakfast choices out there, may have to skip this one next time.

This place is super hyped. The ambience was good. The staff was good as well. But the food sucks! I went for a classic eggs benedict and since I wasn’t a fan of the same with salmon I tried to experiment what was there on the menu. We ordered 1) mushroom toast with poached eggs, 2) poached eggs with paratha and beef bacon, avocado 3)salted caramel French toast, for breakfast and all three sucked big time. I think they must definitely remove those items from the menu right away. I guess I ordered the wrong things but still you expect a minimum quality of whatever is there on the menu from a highly rated place like this. I’m never coming back!

I’m honestly satisfied with the service of Mr. Usman Khan. His way of customer greeting / service is amazing. After the Dubai run, we decided to head to a massive breakfast and I must say I enjoyed every bit of it. But accept one dish. -Shakshuka - I was extremely disappointed because I have had the best Shalshuka in Tom & Serg and this was purely just like an Indian Pan Bhaki not done well. The curry was not sorted properly and I was getting onion and tomato as a whole in the mouth. It has to be paste than what they served.. Orange Cake- I loved this and carried back home and ate in bits and pieces..Not very sweet and the cake base was moist along with the cream. Croissant- A must try and super yummy.. Ambiance - During the weekend it can get really busy so please remove lots of time for the order to be placed, eating and billing as well. The ambiance is perfect for winter and outdoor seating is beautiful.

I love a good breakfast to start my day and the sum of us did just that for me. I had their ricotta pancakes with some berries and maple syrup and how yummy! Consistency of the pancakes were nice and fluffy and had just the right sweetness to it. Will definitely be back again

Well, I went to The Sum of Us for a coffee break but found myself falling in love with their charcoal chicken lying there on the tastiest bed of freekeh! Absolutely delicious and satisfying to all taste buds! The herbs combination is best. As for coffee, well I forgot all about it as soon as I indulged in this beauty. I honestly did not like their coffee.

This cafe has a lot if new age decor and has a unique look where the lights match the logo so there is a lot of uniformity. The food options are limited but they have a good mix of veg, vegan and non veg options. I really like the buckwheat noodles and my friend enjoyed his chicken burger, everything is gourmet and healthy but tastes good as well. There are a bunch of options for drinks and dessert, coffee looks like the speciality here as they grind their own fresh coffee beans. The staff is alright no complaints there.

This was only my 3rd time visiting Sum of Us since moving to Dubai, but it was still a good experience. I like the atmosphere and ambiance and I always enjoy the coffee. And it’s a great place to bring family on the weekend. Out of all the F&B venues to come from Bull&Ro Hospitality, this is my favorite for sure.

This is a place I’ve visited many times and is a great place for breakfast but after going for dinner I was disappointed. I had the barramundi Thai curry and have to say it definitely missed the mark. The fish was cooked perfectly with an amazing crust but unfortunately it was far to salty. The curry broth just didn’t hit the mark as it lacked the distinctive Thai flavors of spices, sweet, sour and salty. It did hit the salty part but lacked in everything else. I think the chef didn’t taste this dish before sending it out. Other than this experience it’s a great place for breakfast and the coffees great too.

Very very nice Poached eggs with Avocado on organic toast and Fish finger sandwich. Food quality is very high and the organic bread they use is exceptional. Portion size is plenty big enough and certainly leave feeling full. If had to be very critical, the waiting staff could be more attentive as found it really hard to get attention even though not busy. The bread is amazing and they shouldn’t change it however, the poached eggs on bread is actually really hard to eat as it’s super hard to cut through. Maybe a sharper knife ... not sure . Overall , great venue and really good food. Me and my eating partner Dishante will be coming again

Very nice place in DIFC It's a bit hidden behind the Sheraton hotel. Good news is that they do have valet parking, since it's a nightmare to park in that area. One of my favorite spots in Dubai. Usually come here to work remotely (internet is a +). Great food options for both breakfast and lunch. Here a few of my favorite dishes to date: Chia pudding (the lime curd is divine), prawn tacos, and sweet potato fries 🍟 (when freshly made - not reheated). The bee bliss smoothie is perfect to wash down the meals with. Great job!

While the interior is lovely, the outdoors area is quaint and busy with quick lunch guests. The egg quesadilla was very filling and unique. The latte was pretty and could have been a little hotter. All In all I would return if I was in the area.

Ordered the salmon dish through Zomato. The dish arrived cold and very oily. The freekeh salad was too small (two bites maximum). The dish was too oily that it mixed with the thin paper lining the restaurant put under the salmon that I even took couple of bites with paper.... clearly this was rushed and not too much thought was put in the dish. This place has a really cool vibe to it. Love the outdoor seating and the indoors equally. The weather was really good so we took an outdoor seating and tried the Acai Bowl, it was delightful. Presented well and tasted great ! Will be back to try some more of their other cool stuff

Visited this beautiful cafe in the heart of the city for late breakfast. Had tropic thunder drink and smashed avocado toast. The drink was good but maybe the taste of banana in it was too overpowering. The avocado toast was good and fulfilling although I expected a smaller portion. The staff here is very friendly and served me really well. Would love to drop by again soon.

This is kind of my regular place for snacks and coffees most of the time when I am around the place. It's quite lively place with buzzing crowd during lunch time. Today been there for lunch and opted for their business lunch which a two course meal. Ordered tomato & buffalo mozzarella salad with basil chimichuri and arugla which was packed with flavour. And for the main, ordered Korean BBQ salmon with black beans & eggplant, sticky rice and cucumber & broccoli salad. Also had their detox drink with carrot juice and lemonade. I really enjoyed the food and specially Arlene who served me was very polite and cortious though my main got slightly delayed. Understood that due to rush hour. But it was delicious and I didn't want to make a noise. In afternoon, again I bumped in for a cup of tea which I really enjoyed it as well. Recommend to anyone who likes a casual lunch in a place which makes you happy for the money you spend and this is truly a hidden gem.

The sum of us is a hidden treasure at the Sheikh Zayad Road. Loved their drinks specially the blue berry one. The taste is totally different and the ambiance is beautiful.

Busy cafe with great interior but not so great service. The staff are friendly but we were hardly checked on or asked if we would like refills of our coffee. The prices are also a little bit ridiculous considering just how small the portion sizes are. Yes the food and coffee taste great but do I think it’s worth the price tag? Not really..... used to be one of my favorite cafes but this last visit left me disappointed. Maybe they were just having an off day ... Over all delicious but expensive

Green bowl was great...very chewy but that is how I feel the first meal of the day should be... It was complete.. Sumptuous and tasty. Liked the chia pudding with gojo berries equally. Biggest surprise was celery cucumber juice, since I did not order it. Not sure it was complementary or somebody made a genuine mistake....well whatever, thanks! I enjoyed it...it was natural, plain juice with no added anything... Every sip was refreshing.... Thanks for the meal.. Namaste! Had my 1st bad experience in the last 4 deliveries. The acai sorbet had completely melted. :-(

This place is great for a quick breakfast getaway. The interiors have a European feel with a hint of vintage to it. Cleansing juices, omelettes and their freshly brewed coffees are must-haves. 🍹☕ And yes, if the Shakshouka is available – grab on to it! I still want some more options on the menu though.

Everything is amazing at the Sum of Us. Try to go after lunch (2pm-5pm) when there's less people grabbing lunch to sit outside (during colder months). You won't reget it! I'm not sure why this place doesn't have 5 stars yet. I usually travel across the city just to have their big breakfast! Their menu is a refreshing selection of healthy dishes and something for your cheat days. Their coffee is amazing and it's a joy to come back to. I highly recommend their Salted Caramel French Toast (if you're living on the Marina side of Dubai, Tom & Serg serves a similar plate). I also really like their Kimchi Bowl! Excited to try other dishes too. Staff are rockstars & all-in-all an amazing dining experience if you're with friends or on a self-date.

It was my go to place when I was living in the same building. They have many healthy food options and delicious desserts. What stroke me back then was the home made coke. I found it quite exciting. I was having avocado salad very often there. Also, around the new year eve time, they had a special cake which I can’t forget. They offer valet parking.

We ordered: •French Toast: Was good.. but the taste of egg was over. •Shakshuka: I did not liked it at all, I was just eating it because I was hungry.. the Mozzarella is making it very hard to eat the egg.. the dukka was not going well with the shakshuka.. maybe because it was with hazelnut! •Syphon Coffee: nice. Overall not as expected, but the place was very nice and the staff were friendly.

One of the best breakfasts I have had in Dubai with the person I love the most. We had a plate of mushroom toast and eggs and paratha. The ambience is so welcoming and extremely classy and clean. The staff were very warm. I would for sure come back again.

There are few places who understand coffee, and Sum of Us is definately of them and thankfully they are in my office building. Top marks for coffees, ambiance, staff. Frankly I never got an oppurtunity for a breakfast or lunch so cant comment much, but had picked up sandwiches on the go. The bread chese and vegetables were fresh and nothing to complain. Request: please start a coffee delivery at least in same building.

Lovely place for breakfast! Located on Sheikh Zayed Road in one of the big towers you will not expect to find such a lovely place with good atmosphere. I been there on a Sunday morning and the place was busy, so i guess is popular! They have even a little flower shop inside! The menu has good options of dishes for everyone even me with my gluten and dairy intolerance. I loved their acai bowl and green bowl. The coffee is good and strong- the place has their own roastery you can see it when you are seating there. Must try for breakfast!

The Sum of Us is the sibling of Tom & Serge and Common Grounds and continues with delivering a casual-yet-trendy and high quality eating experience. The menu’s core is wholesome, comfort food that is healthy and tasty, the sort of menu that you could quite easily graze off five lunches a week and never get bored. Staff are friendly and will even give you valet parking if you spend a modest amount dining in. Worthy of mention are the almond croissants - the new standard!

Went for business lunch, super set up, excellent food, not cheap but expected. Only bad thing was the service (( we had wait for long time until we get menu and same happend when we asked for the bill and nobody told us thank you when we left.

Good food, good atmosphere, good location. I wasn’t the biggest fan of the menu about 1 year ago but dimes over the weekend for brekkie and the new menu changes have made a lot of difference. My breakfast recommendation is lobster on toast (gluten free toast available) and the coffee is always good here. I think they have an in house coffee roaster.

Nice place, decent food but very disappointing service !! With so many staff members nobody once asked us anything at the entrance we were just left alone to decide what to do. Nobody seated us, nothing !! I ordered the Poached salmon eggs benedict which were alright. It is located on the ground floor of Burj Al Salam in the same building of the Sheraton Grand Hotel from the back. They have a valet parking service. Like proud mothers, they make everything from scratch, they bake their own bread, roast their own coffee and fillet their own fish. From the first day when I discovered it this August, it became my favorite spot.

First of all: I LOVE THE ALMOND CROISSANT! I heard about this store from a year ago. Lots of my colleague were saying its nice place to go for brunch. I have to admit, my first experience here was great. I love the decor, i love the menu option, basically everything was perfect. My friend and I ordered an Acai bowl, and Rissotto. Also an almond crox and some hot bevies. Everything was divine. Good taste, good presentation, i’ll defo come back soon to try other menu!

A lot is already in reviews about THE SUM OF US as this is a very popular restaurant in Dubai, especially for breakfasts. It is placed just behind the Grand Sheraton Hotel off SZR with some street parking but also Valet parking available. HIGHLIGHTS: - Beautiful interiors with light woods, tall ceilings, plants and a central serving area laden with cakes and pastries. There is double the restaurant floor as it has an upstairs eating area too - Service is surprisingly fast given how busy it is and the amount of floor space available - Lobster Toast is a delicious breakfast option with crispy sourdough, smashed avocado, nuggets of poached lobster, diced green tomato salsa and brightened with lime mayo and lemon juice - Huevos Rancheros was a daily weekend special filled with sausages, poached eggs, herbed sausages in a tortilla bowl crowed with micro herbs - this should move to the menu full time! - Cold brew is smooth but a little small portion wise - fresh juices I am looking forward to coming here for lunch or dinner to experience the rest of the menu.
