Amazing food, service and ambience. The cakes are tasty, but I recommend that each piece of cake is consumed by two persons instead of one as it is a very generous serving. One of the best places to dine at in Dubai!

Visited here on a Saturday for brunch. I had the Spanish scrambled eggs and my wife the macadamia french toast. The food was perfect and really well plated. Helping size was good and service was great . The interiors are lovely and it's a nice place to spend a lazy Saturday morning.

I am yet to try the food at Walnut Grove but what is a girl to do to get past their cake display. Every time I step in, I end up eating cake for breakfast. Their Baked Cheese Cake is hands down the best I’ve had in Dubai. It’s rich, it’s moist, it’s what your dreams are made of & if you’re anything like a sugar junkie that I am, you MUST, MUST try it.
Really love the quality of their food, their salads are so good, the beef patty in pita bread was delish. And their coffee is always nice. Please do a loyalty program!

My last restaurant visit during the last week of December 2019 was at Walnut Grove at their City Walk location. Had a memorable festive dinner. We were part of the festive evening when we were just closer to enter into Christmas. The restaurant was attractively done and charged to welcome guests for Christmas.
The most yummiest Thai chicken salad I had....on point service & welcoming ambience for everyone
The truffle burger was in beef but on our request they made it in chicken and was delicious

No matter how many times we’ve come , we always leave happy . The food is amazing and the dessert is a must try. The staff are all smiles and attentive. Plenty of seating available and options to chose from.
Food was delicious!! We had their ‘walnut truffle carbonara’ pasta and the ‘three cheese fondue burger’. Both were perfection. The seating arrangement was very comfortable as well. I’m only giving this a 4* because of the incredibly slow service. We went on a Friday evening and there was only one staff running to attend to all the tables. We had to remind her several times to bring us an extra plate, then later the bill, etc.
I am a regular here , so so regular! Love it everytime. Love everything from the little cupcakes to the impeccable presentation and yummy food! The manager is also the best they come.
This is my second time to visit this place and they never failed to give a great service. Food quality is still the same. This time I tried different cake. I love the rainbow cake and I definitely liked it. Most of their cakes are amazing!!
OH MY DEAR LORD! Halloumi fries and onion rings to DIE for. I could not stop myself from eating the whole portion. The burgers were good but nothing compares to those fries and rings!
Love the options on their menu but the food was okay. Nothing great. The hummus lacked any flavor and the sriracha chicken sandwich was not good. However, their salads are decent. Would try their other options next time.
We came here with a group of 9 with different appetites for burgers/salads/dessert/drinks. The restaurant was quiet, plenty of empty seats. We requested 2 separate bills from the start which caused absolutely no issues. The orders were taken down correctly and once the food came, it was presented beautifully and all the dishes were delicious. When it came down to paying the two bills were presented we made it kindly known that we had discount cards which could be applied to the bill. This is when another server came and made it appear that this was a inconvenience and showed a rather discontented attitude towards us, not very friendly at all. Not exactly ideal to finish off a great meal with a rather rude and uncourteous attitude.
Browsing through the restaurants in the vicinity, came across this one and the menu featured a nice selection - so decided to come here for dinner.
Had the following -
👍 Bowl of Hummus - although have had better hummus in other places, this was an enjoyable starter with the different pieces of bread that accompanied the hummus.
😋Pistachio felafels - well cooked, nicely seasoned and a very nice accompaniment to the meal.
😒Vegetarian Harvest sandwich - Nicely presented sandwich, but very difficult to eat as it is quite thick with the sides being quite crisp -so it becomes difficult to eat with a knife and fork and it is too big to eat with the hands -
👍Pomodoro Arrabiata - requested for some extra veggies to be put in and it resulted in a very well made pasta - delicious.
👍Almond hot chocolate - to round off the meal, nicely presented and good strong taste.
👍Service was attentive and friendly
The restaurant is very well laid out and designed, plenty of underground parking available.
It's a cosy little place with an open kitchen and nice ambience. Tried their avocado overload breakfast dish that tasted really good and not to forget that this wholesome breakfast dish definitely qualifies for an insta worthy post as well!!
Beautifully done up, Walnut Grove has a chic decor and a mesmerising ambience. The food menu is a mix of salads, appetizers, sandwiches, pizza, pastas, grills and desserts.
We had Middle Eastern Nachos, it was oven baked chips with mozzarella and cheddar, topped with the yummiest feta, Avacado, spicy salsa and others. The cheese toppings not only added beauty to the Nachos, but it texture and taste was top notch as well. Then we had the delicious pistachio falafels which was served with herb basil mayo sauce. The falafels were deliciously different. Both are a must try.
The portion is generous so we skiped the main course and directly went for their famous cake slice. Everything about the cake was heaven in the mouth experience, words cannot explain its taste, you need to try it.
Overall we had a very heavenly experience. Stunning food fantantic service. Presentation is eye pleasing. Definitely a place to go. Highly recommended.

There are many restaurants in City Walk but not all of them standout and Walnut Grove is one that is simply outstanding. The restaurant has a vibe to it where they moment you walk in, you know you are in a fancy restaurant and the staff is going to take good care of you. I was impressed by the decor of the restaurant and of the food. The dishes were nicely plated, which adds to the overall feel and taste of the dish. It is hard to eat something that doesn’t look good and everything I tried at Walnut Grove were great in every aspect.
Visited for lunch after a recommendation from a friend. The atmosphere was nice and comfortable. The meal servings were a decent quantity and very tasty. We had the soup of the day with toasted cheese and sundried tomato sandwich, the avocado on toast (on my wishlist for next visit), the omlette, homemade iced coffee and iced tea. They have a large selection of mouthwatering cakes too. The staff were attentive and friendly. Will return for breakfast and dessert. Highly recommend.

Walnut Grove is located inside a mall-like building at City Walk. We dropped by to have breakfast at this nice-looking Cafe/bakery place. we have previously had lunch & dinner at the walnut grove outlet in Dubai mall.Breakfast was pretty good. The staff was pretty friendly & patient with my son so I would say that they are kids friendly but they don't really have any space to entertain kids with other than drawing things to play with on the table.
We had a couple of dishes. Crispy french toast topped with Mapel syrup was nice. I don't personally have a sweet tooth so I found the Mapel syrup to be a bit too sweet and too much. It would have been better if it was served on the side.
We had another dish with chips on top and it tasted really nice.They have a range of sweet dishes and huge cakes! so if you are someone with a sweet tooth, you are going to love this place.

Absolutely delicious food & coffee. Given 4 stars instead of 5, due to dirty seat cushions & due to getting feta on the meal despite us asking for no feta due to allergies (however, a replacement meal without feta was brought out within minutes of bringing it to their attention).

I had the avocado 🥑 on toast, that’s served over some bacon and maple syrup, which was a great combination. All of the ingredients are of good quality and the portions are generous. I will definitely come back and try some cakes or main courses another visit.
Had the Chiken Verde and was very happy with the choice.
The chicken was very juicy and well marinated I chose a side of roasted vegetables which I recommend. But I didn't like the couscous much, I'd recommend that you replace it with something else.
The only reason is that I'm not giving it 5 stars is because the chairs are not comfy at all and because they do not serve complicated bread like other similar restaurants. Also, I was also not very pleased with the choice of music which was very upbeat and noisy.

Food: We have only tried their desserts and it was the best we've ever had. The quantity is humungous and we struggle to finish it all the time. Never disappointed.

The salad was just amazing and cake i loved it, probably the best walnut grove i have had in dubai, i will never forget this restaurant. One of my favorite gourmet place in Dubai. Must try their avo-Three- ways, healthy, beautiful work of art. Highly recommend. Their Italian options are delicious. And their selection of hot/cold drinks.
They have a ton of options when it comes to mains. On recommendation of our servers Stafort we ordered for Salmon & Lamb. The Peppadew Avo Salmon was a grilled Salmon on a bed of Mashed Potatoes and topping of Avacado and couscous on the sides, it tasted brilliant, no words to describe it. The Greek Lamb Giouvetsi is a mega Size Australian Lamb shank on a bed of Rice and curry served with fries on the sides. The Lamb was slow cooked for 4 hours to make it so soft that it just melts in the mouth. Quality and freshness of meat was evident from the taste.
Lovely place to hang out together with sisters! The cakes are all nice for photos. Honestly too sweet but good with tea or coffee. We didn’t finish all the deserts because big portion. Having a lot fun here!

Think you know Dubai? Think again! In the city where change is an expectation, it’s hard to keep up with the buzz. A recent adventure in City Walk left me astonished in front of a restaurant I’ve never previously heard of or noticed. That felt double bitter as I’ve been calling myself a “connoisseur de la vie” in the UAE for quite a while.
Walnut Grove opened at City Walk in 2016 (on a Dubai timeline a year goes for 5). The concept originated in South Africa back in 1975 an includes the diverse regional cuisine influenced by traditional love of meat and food trends inherited from the colonial era (Dutch, Portuguese, Greek, South Asian, etc.).
The Walnut Grove in Dubai adopted a menu with a consideration of the Middle East market, exporting a few very curious recipes together with the spirit of friendliness, closeness and a community feel: “From our family to yours”. And it’s shows! They got my interest when I spotted Rania’s (server) dazzling smile from fifty meters away, Eddie’s (barista) master manipulations with hazelnut latte but it was Alexis’ (manager) striped pullover that sealed the deal. This place is a must try!
Walnut Grove offers a really good choice of seating arrangements. There is a quiet corner to work, a spacious ultra clubby lounge to hang out, a little coffee addicts space close to the desserts, a kids friendly area and multiple tables outside to watch to world pass by. I chose a glamorous corner with tall copper stained mirrors, matching lamps, a ceiling built to resemble a walnut tree and a long curved sofa with one corner raised up to the wall. How could I resist?
After a quick chat with the chef Lipin, I decided to try one of the signature salads and a signature burger (we love everything “signature” in Dubai). You must know the portions are very generous and meant to be shared so be wise and leave a lot of room for a sweet treat paired with… a signature coffee :) My incredible in size as well as tasty burrata salad was made to feed four eaters like me. Infused with deliciousness in the form of fresh ingredients, textures and flavours, for the first time ever I decided that the burrata wasn’t the main highlight but the veggies. My burger prepared medium rare was thoughtfully cut in half and serve together with extra crispy onion rings and thin fries. It’s was an incredible burger: juicy with a notes of smokiness and individuality of every condiment within (crispy lettuce, tomatoes, onions, pickles and… a signature sauce :) Soooo good!
Full as I was, I walked to the barista counter and asked Eddie’s advice for coffee. Well, to be completely frank, I wanted to sneak a slice of a cake but tricked myself to believe I was there just for a cuppa. After a long debate with my potential guilt, I chose an irresistible slice of walnut and hazelnut tart with vanilla ice cream and a cup of cappuccino on a side. Felt no guilt afterwards, just an overwhelming dose of sweet happiness!

Recently visited this place for lunch on a Friday afternoon. Its a cozy place located at citywalk with amazing modern interiors. The place is nice and bright. I was happy to see that they have all day breakfast which added it to one of tge favorite place for breakfast in Dubai.
So as suggested by the staff here i had:
Haloumi fries- these were nice crispy soft inside and hot with delicious herbs served with siracha mayo. Loved it. The herbs inside were different which made it even more tastier.
Vegetarian harvest sandwich- for all the vegetarians this is a must have. It was heavy and i loved the presentation it was on point. The bread used was delicious it was the walnut seeded bread with haloumi cheese butternut hummus olives spinach pesto with salad and fries on the side.
Salsa verde chicken kebabs- chicken breast skewers marinated with pesto served on cous cous with mint dip and fries. The chicken was well cooked soft tender. Tasted so goood.
Desserts:
Here i had their red velvet cheesecake the portion was huge good to share with 2 people. It was really good. It was served with marshmallows Maltese and fruits and nutella sauce. I loved it and recommend it highly to have this particular cake here.
Drinks:
Passion fruit mojito- fresh iced delicious
Berry smoothie- loved this thick berry smoothie it was really good
Overall loved tge ambience and food. Great friendly staff. Delicious desserts.
Recommendation:
*red velvet cheesecake - biggest slice of cake I've ever had. One slice is good for 2-3 people.

As drinks we tried their Fruits of the forest granita & Ferrero-nutella milkshake.
Fruits of the forest is a fresh blend of wild berries,fresh strawberry,pomegranate etc..Its a super power drink i must say.its healthy and delicious. Nutella milkshake was thick and tasted good.
As starters we had Halloumi Fries,It was well seasoned and fried to perfection.Its a must try here.I totally enjoyed my halloumi fries with sriracha mayo dip.
Parmesan Almond Chicken Salad - This is another must try here.Tender chicken strips with parmesan and almonds served on a bed of mix veggies with creamy dressing was very inviting.It was served in a huge bowl and can be easiky shared by 3-4 pax.
MAINS
Mediteranean Grilled chicken breast-This is one of their best sellers.Chicken was perfectly seasoned and was super juicy.
Peppadew avo salmon - Fresh norwegian salmon pan seared and topped with a signature salsa is served with a savoury couscous.Salmon was the star of the evening.It was cooked beautifully and was delicious.
Philly cheese stick sandwich- Tenderloin served in roasted panini and mozzarella cheese was also good.But we liked our salmon and chicken much better.We enjoyed our mains with sides like roasted vegetables,greek salad,fries etc..
All the dishes were presented beautifully and that is one of the highlight of walnut grove.Their portions are really huge and their food is super fresh and healthy.
I am planning to visit them later to try their Breakfast & Afternoon Tea.
I’ve only visited one cafe which hailed from South Africa before (Tasha’s) in Galleria Mall and now there’s another which calls City Walk home. The Parisian [65 AED] Perfect Egg Scramble and cream cheese filling inside Butter Crossiant topped with cherry tomato. If only you see my face writing this! So Delish and filling !
Burrata Omelet [79 AED] So creamy with the Sauce and Cheese ! Served with the side of Bread 🍞.
They serve Cute little Mini Redvelvet cupcake with their Coffee.

I went for their Cake called Dubai 4Eva cake. It is a huge monster cake good for 3 persons. Had it to my hearts content. With. Cake like this you don't need any food. They have a wide range of cakes to choose from and it was very difficult to choose.
Apart from the desserts they are very famous for their Arabic menu and i saw them serving huge portions of each and every dish.

First of all the restaurant is super beautifully decorated. It just makes you wanna sit at their sofa and do nothing to chill out forever.
And when the coffee came first, it's just like a piece of art with a nice touch of a mini cupcake on the side.
As for the food, geeez they were gorgeous. Hats off to their chefs who must be like artists!
Avo 3 ways- 5/5 enormous portion! 3 different style of avo on toast: classic poached egg, feta cheese and the highlight was the one with sumac. All of them were as yum as they look.
Sweet chili chicken wrap: 5/5 juicy chicken with sweet & sour sauce, avocado on gluten free toasts. The greek salad that came with it was fresh. Very enjoyable dish.
You can tell the ingredients were fresh and the chef had put in effort to cook all the dishes.
And I have to give a big compliment to the manager. After we had our two huge plates of lunch, we ordered some tea for digestion. The manager surprised us with a HUGE piece of complimentary cake, (and it wasn't even becoz of any special occasion.) we were shocked by the hospitality.
I am really impressed and the entire experience was just top notch. I will definitely come back and cant wait indeed!
