The Grecian grill is my new go-to place for whenever I'm craving authentic greek food. The food is delicious, the service is super friendly and the views are simply spectacular!
The restaurant is located on the promenade level, facing the waterfront in Jinnah Bay Suites. It is a short walk from DMCC metro station and there is plenty of parking available in the area.
The ambience of the restaurant reminds you of a traditional greek household. The interiors are pretty basic, keeping the whole vibe of the restaurant very casual and homely.
The service of the restaurant is beyond impeccable! As it is a family run business you might even end up finding the owners of the restaurant there. They are so sweet and generous. Special shoutout to Yiouli who made sure that we were stuffed until we couldn't possibly think about putting another morsel into our mouths.
One of the most amazing things about the restaurant is the fact that they import a lot of their ingredients straight from Greece(Eg: feta, olive oil, oregano, etc). Because of this a lot of their dishes taste genuinely very authentic. From all of they cold starters my favorite was the tzatziki. Even the Pita served with it was so delicious! From all the hot starters their fava and cheese croquets were sooo delicious! A special mention is the Dakos(salad) which was probably my favourite dish of the whole meal. So delicately spiced and the rush was so good. For Mains we had the mix grill platter. It was quite sufficient for 2 people. The best part about it is the fact that it comes with a range of sauces instead of just one. So you really get spoilt for choice! We ended our meal with a Greek Orange Pie. So delicious! 😍

Tucked inside Dubai marina, with the most beautiful sight of the sea, is this gorgeously built little Greek restaurant. I have been a HUGE fan of the Greek culture and food since a very long time, and I thought i had a fairly good idea what greek food is about.
But Grecian Grill owner-hosts actually took us through a memory lane of what Greek food and how “authentic” is the food being served elsewhere. No offense to others, but I truly enjoyed the authentic essence of the delicious food.
Coming down to the food, the host was super sweet and explained each and every detail of the food in great depths, it wasn’t just a meal, it was an entire experience ❤️
✔️ Tirokafteri- Spicy, tangy feta cheese. very refreshing on the palate!
✔️ Eggplant salad- The roasted eggplant sald was bursting with flavours, I ain’t a fan of eggplant at all, but this one took me by surprise.
✔️ Grecian Hummus- BEST THING EVAAAAA! Their hummus had a surprise element of honey and I was literally licking it off plate. Definitely RECOMMENDED ⭐️
✔️Tzatziki- Very refreshing
✔️ Yellow Fava beans- I loved this one! Specially the addition of caramelized onions on top. Really a dish on its own
✔️ Dakos- Rusk imported from Greece immersed in fresh tomato puree, Virgin olive oil and HEAPS of feta cheese. Sooo good!
✔️ Feta cheese filled puff- I AM IN LOVE! The savory-sweet combination wowed me and i cant stop thinking of it. It was drizzled with organic honey. So GOOOD!
✔️Mixed Grill- I was toooo full, as it is but hullo? Meat!! The lamb chops and the seekh kebabs were my absolute favourite of the lot!!
✔️ Dessert- Custard filled puff- I wasn’t too happy with the custard consistency, but the flavours of the zesty orange were really good to go with it.
This is the ONLY restaurant review where we spent about 4.5 hours. Getting to know the owners and have them explain every detail to us was very pleasant and different! It really shows how much effort they put into their “homely theme”

I like Greek food and the variety of vegetarian dishes Greek cuisine offers is truly amazing. Greek cuisine is known for its rich culinary tradition that has simple to elaborate dishes. Yesterday, I sampled some of the best Greek food in town. Grecian Grill is a Greek family owned restaurant that offers authentic home-style Greek Food. Their Greek chef makes everything from scratch using only the freshest of ingredients. We were made to feel right at home by the owner Kyriakos.

Our last weekend afternoon was spent in Dubai Marina experiencing Greek hospitality. Tucked inside Jannah Marina Bay Suites with Marina Lake view and on top of it is the hospitality & the way you are taken care of by the caring staff. The restaurant is actually run by a family , the sociable Greek couple & chef takes you to an amazing Greek culinary journey. We enjoyed our entire afternoon indulging in a cuisine with different flavors and served with fondness & as each course was served to us we were explained the traditions & details of each dish.
Welcoming hosts( read owners) bright decor, beautiful views of Marina and most of all finger licking food! What more can you ask for! Our orders were the cucumber Greek yoghurt dip(tzatsiki) fava bean paste with caramelized onions, lamb rotisserie and chicken chops. Every single dish stood out and I was blown away by the delicious meat well marinated with herbs and cooked fork tender! The chicken was juicy and yummy too. Portions are big ! Would definitely return back to try their other dishes as this is one home style greek eatery I’ve gotten hooked to 😋

Even if you have been to Greece or not this restaurant will definitely make you want to go to Greece. Located inside Jannah marina bay suites in Dubai and with a gorgeous view of the Marina Bay is this little gem of a place called Grecian Grill.
The entire place is just so welcoming and beautiful with a very relaxed atmosphere. The burnt orange walls with white furniture which adds to the charm. Youll definitely feel as if you are in greece and if that doesn't convince you. Wait till you meet the owners and more importantly the chef and his team. It's a family run business so you feel the passion and the love from the moment you enter the place. The owner Kiriakos and his beautiful wife yulli is sure to make you feel as if you have entered their home instead of a restaurant. And chef Antonis Melas is so passionate about his cooking and food that you can't help yourself but to fall in love with the food. And what's not to love. It's it's authentic well marinated well prepared and perfectly cooked food. And can I just say in UAE it's quite hard to find a proper vegetarian range in their menus but this place is just a paradise for vegetarians and meat lovers alike. -My personal favourite was the fried zucchinis with yoghurt sauce. - The Dakkos salad which was a crusty bread salad with fresh tomato sauce and feta cheese infused with herbs. (Just thinking about it is making me want to go back for more). - The baked feta. Goodness wasn't that just melt in your mouth tasty. Again with the herbs and perfectly cooked tomatoes married into each other.
And that fava beans with onions. That savoury sweet flavour which goes so well with bread. Not just pita.. Also that spinach salad with a balsamic reduction.
When it came to the grills.. I must admit I was more in love with the melt in your mouth gyros that I had, Which chef Antonis offered later on. And the Grilled lamb which was fatty and had a beautiful salt&Oregano flavour. Now if I could only pronounce the name. Oh and those desserts, They nailed every single element in that one.

I ordered chicken skewer pita wrap from Grecian Grill. Order was on time, even early. The wrap was really delicious; the pita bread was fresh, the chicken pieces were tender and it was very delicious with the combination of fries and sauce. The portion was filling enough. However, the presentation was very poor. Since this was a pita wrap, it was very hard to manage eating but there were even no wet wipes or enough tissues. If presentation was stronger, my rating would be at least 4.

That’s been the best Greek restaurant I’ve ever found out of Greece so far! It reminded me the good time I had over several summers in Greece (so I definitely know what I’m talking about)!
The food was generous in quantity and delicious flavour.

At Grecian Grill traditional herbal flavours amalgamate with modern cookery techniques to create a culinary experience of sorts. To me, all this while, Greek food simply meant Gyros and at times - the usual Greek salad. Nothing more. I wasn’t adventurous enough to walk into a Greek restaurant and try the fare there. I can perhaps attribute this hesitation to my difficulty in pronouncing Greek food names on the menu.
This authentic restaurant truly brings back my memories , from where I visited last year .When I visited Greece I couldn’t try their authentic non-veg greek food, since we prefer halal food and it was kind of difficult for us to find a eatery which provides halal food and hence we stick on to vegetarian dishes .
I would rate this place 4.5 as it's a very cozy welcoming place run by a decent management. The ambience is lovely, the food quality is great 👍🏼 but I found it a bit higher on the price side. Specially liked the hummus, the salads and the grilled stuff. And also their Greek coffee. Was a quick business lunch therefore couldn't take pictures but definitely going there again to take some

Grecian Grill is the only restaurant in Marina that serves Greek cuisine so it is worth visiting if you are a fan of charcoal grilled meats. As a restaurant that is primarily grills, it was nice to know that there are vegetarians that visit the restaurant to enjoy some of the great vegetarian items that are on the menu as well. I understand the restaurant is popular among the Greek community and is often the venue of choice for get together and celebrations.
This place is run by a Greek couple who themselves are at the restaurant pretty often, and we got to meet them. This place serves authentic Greek food, and you must check this place out. It isn't very big, but feels homely.
We had quite a few dishes here; among my favourite ones were the Fava, the Dakos salad, tirokafteri.
They have some interesting items like the zucchini sticks and baked feta cheese.
The mixed grill is really amazing.
Among the sweets, my favourite was the greek orange pie.
The place has great views of the marina.

Nestled on the beautiful marina promenade, is a little piece of Greece called Grecian Grill. A restaurant that treats you like family and serves food that could easily be home cooked from a Grecian household, prepared with the same love and care as if you were a guest in their home. Our verdict: Grecian Grill gives you an insight into being in a Greek home. You will feel welcome and be served meals that are not only delicious but are as authentic as can be.
What we have tried:
Tzatziki
Traditional Greek Salad
Moussaka
Spinach Pie
Tirokafteri: Something unexpected yet delicious. Crushed feta with chili pepper seems like a bit of an unusual mix, but it works! The olive oil and fresh oregano help add a freshness to this cold starter as well.
Eggplant Salad: A Greek version of moutabel but this is their own homemade recipe.
Feta: A traditional feta cheese which they serve that’s fresh and refined. You can definitely taste the difference.
Grecian Hummus: A different take on the traditional hummus we’re used to getting in Dubai. Its got sweetness and nice flavours.
Greek Yellow Fava: This was our surprise favourite. A smooth mixture of split peas, with lemon, oregano and caramelized onions. Definitely order this dish. The sweetness of the onions balance out the tartness of the lemon really well. Very tasty indeed.
Fried Feta Wrapped in Phyllo Dough: This dish is absolutely delicious. It's a great combination of taste and texture, soft on the inside and crunchy on the outside with a touch of sweetness thanks to the drizzle of honey over it. We definitely recommend it.
Politiki: A fresh, crunchy salad, great to share with the table as a side with a meat dish.
‘Dakos’ Salad from Crete: Another surprise favourite. We loved the crunchy pieces of toasted rusk, the creaminesses of the cheese and the sweet and tangy marinated tomatoes.
Mixed grill platter: This dish is huge, they say it’s for 2 people, but it could easily feed 3 to 4 people. We loved every single type of meat here. They cook each dish to order and their ingredients are fresh, this really comes through in this dish.
Dessert:
Galaktomboureko: A delicious flakey pastry filled with a smooth, creamy custard. This dessert is a great way to finish off a heavy Greek meal.
How to get there:
Grecian Grill is located at the end of the Marina Promenade (Abu Dhabi Side). Unfortunately getting there isn't the easiest thing, but if you put the location for Jannah Marina Bay Suites into Google Maps, it takes you right to the location.
Having a husband who lived in Greece for 6 years means he is constantly looking for a good Greek place to eat around the city, and off course I don't mind because I have always been in love with Greek food.
I found out about the Grecian Grill through Instagram and decided to go give it a try. My only regret is that I did not come any sooner.
The food is simply amazing! I was happy with everything I tasted, and I did taste EVERYTHING you see in the photos.

It is the best Greek restaurant in Dubai!! We love the food but the atmosphere as well, decorated in a true traditional Greek style. There is sitting in the veranda that we love with great Marina view as well as indoors. All the dishes are genuinely Greek that all our family enjoys while listening to Greek music. And last but not least, the service has always been great!!! Just come to try it and it is certain you will be coming back again and again....

A gem for sure. It was my first time trying Greek cuisine and trust me, it was one of the best cuisines out there! The service was excellent and the owners were present to guide us through the menu and help us choose the best for us.
Soup:
- Zucchini Soup: A pure vegetarian soup topped with olive oil and pepper. Perfect start to the meal.
Starters (HOT):
- Greek Yellow Split Peas "Fava": Almost like Hummus but greek. It was topped with caramelized onions, lemon and oregano. It is best to mix it with lemon as it tastes amazing. Best eaten with Pita bread served alongside.
- Fried Feta Wrapped in Phyllo Dough: Cheesy yet sweet with the honey and sesame. Crunchy on the outside and delicious within. This is one dish to totally try!
- Moussaka Bites: Oven baked dish with eggplant, beef, potatoes and bechamel sauce. More like lasagna, only better in taste. I loved the minced beef and the eggplant base. I actually wished to eat more of this.
Starters (COLD):
- Tirokafteri: Feta cheese with yogurt. Delicious.
- Eggplant Salad: For someone like me who hates eggplants otherwise, I learnt to love it here. I actually ate it all!
- Feta: Greek feta with oregano and olive oil.
- Grecian Hummus: Special hummus only found here. Made with tahini, but with added honey and spices. Something new to taste and one to go back for.
- Tzatziki: Yogurt with cucumber, garlic and olive oil. Best with Pita bread. I actually had most of it plain.
Main Course:
When you cannot choose, just go for the mixed grill!
Ordered the mixed grill platter for 2 with 700g of meat! That is quite a bit I would say. It came along with some tomatoes, capsicum, onions, potatoes, and dips. Just this is more than sufficient to love this place.
Desserts:
- Galaktomboureko: As we were really full and happy, we decided to just have one dessert and that too, their traditional Greek dessert. With custard cream and phyllo dough, it was delicious. I actually could not get enough of it.
Drinks:
- Loux: It is their greek carbonated soft drink so do try it out.
- Greek Coffee: More or less like Turkish but definitely better.
- Lemon Mint Juice: A bit sour but refreshing.
Home food restaurant, very warm welcoming, fresh and various types of food, very tasty with reasonable prices, we had the beef patty with cheese, first time for us to taste this amazing dish, the meat was excellent with delicious spices, we also had the meat pie and the tirokafteri which amazingly fresh, everything was perfect ! we had a great time there and we felt home, very friendly owner and staff, we will definitely go back!

Grecian Grill is an authentic Greek restaurant, one of the few Greek restaurants in town offers its name sake to customers and here they keep it real. Located in Dubai marina, and ideally located by the waters surrounded by giant buildings gives this place a very humbling look. Not your typical white and blue color theme that you see in TV or in pictures, here ,they capture the rustic look and feel of Athens and its surroundings. They have matched the colors of restaurant to the Acropolis of Athens, with matching wall the elegant furniture complement well, you are immediately transported to a traditional home in Athens.
We chose to sit out side and began to order our drinks, We ordered the lemon and Greek frappe. I am a frappe fan and wanted to try the greek frappe, definitely not the usual frappe, it had a balance of sweet and a fit of dark coffee, which kept the drink in check, liked it as it was not too sweet. We ordered the cold starters and I liked the concept here, where the chef comes and shows a sample of what we are going to get and then goes in and prepares our order and brings. We tried the Tirokafeteri - which was crushed feta cheese with yoghurt and a great mix of chille pepper, evoo, fresh oregano, you can surely taste the freshness here. The grilled egg plant salad was soft and all the flavours were in tack, goes well with the bread they give. Greecian hummus tasted different as it had a mix of honey and spice. We thoroughly enjoyed the cold starters.
Just before the main , we wanted to order a salad, and was recommended to try the " Dakos' and now I will recommend anyone coming here to try the Dakos, this is from the Island of crete, cretan rusk, topped with marinated tomatto puree and many more, We loved this, fresh and wholesome and the portion was filling, amazing flavours. And now for the great reveal, we ordered the Mix grill platter, when the platter came, we were thrilled to see the portion size. really excellent, seriously good enough for three. tried the lamp chops first. well it was a Hooopaaa..... and no we didnt break any plates. the marination was perfect and each bite succulent. Your get chicken, beef pattie, chicken skewers. Honestly the taste and the flavours were highlighting various Greek cooking types and ingredients. We enjoyed this platter. Again I'm telling the portions are really good.
Moving on to some Greek dessert, we tried the Galaktomboureko - a traditional greek dessert made from home made phylo dough, and custard creme, this was totally different and here we were getting a journey thru greec with these food options. we tried the Halvaa and walnut cake, both were equally good and not too sweet but for the the galatomboureko was the winner.
We had a great time and what topped it over was the pleasure of meeting the owners, who are a Husband & Wife tag team, with a true passion for Greek cuisine and wanting to serve us a part of their passion thru the restaurant. You feel at home here, you take your time and enjoy their food and hospitality. It always a great sight when business owners drop by the tables and chatting to customers, a special touch goes a long way. I am definitely coming back to try more of the dishes that I couldn't try. The Grecian Grill was an awesome fine dining experience. The Greek cuisine is a must for the adventurous pallette. We especially loved the humus and flat breads which we haven't tried before. The mains where delicious and so was the halva sweets to round off the amazing evening. Raffaat, our host for the evening was very attentive and educated us on the various courses which made the evening most memorable. We most certainly will revisit the Grecian Grill. Authentic Greek restaurant in Dubai.
I had recommendations from friends to visit the place and yesterday I got the opportunity.
Overall it was a great evening and I am actually happy that I found a restaurant that reminds me of home.
1. Service. We were welcomed upon arrival by the owners who also introduced themselves and the restaurant. They were very attentive to us and made us feel that we visit a friend and not another restaurant. They were happy to strike conversations with us about the area, Dubai, greek cuisine and explain their dishes in detail.
The cold appetizers came in a platter display while we were chatting with the owner. This is the traditional greek way, so you get your appetizers fast without delay. We placed the order for the rest of the items and everything came very fast.
The staff were friendly and attentive. Every time they would come to our table would say something polite and check how we liked the food. When I wanted to ask for something, I did not have to raise my hand or ask. I merely looked at the waiter and he came right away.
2. Food. We ordered tzatziki, fava, fried zuchhini, eggplant, chorta salad and rotisserie lamb. Everything tasted like we are back home in Greece. Eggplant salad was from real grilled eggplants with all the herbs as it is supposed to be. Fava was fresh and delicious. Tzatziki was made using proper greek yogurt (not mayo or some cheap watery yogurts). Greek warm pita bread was offered with our meal and tasted great.
Now, Greeks would know what chorta is, but for those who have never tried, it is lightly boiled wild greens and if u never had it before it is a must.
Rotisserie lamb was great, tasty without too much oil, very tender and tasted fresh. The herbs and tomato sauce that it was cooked with the lamb really complimented the flavor. I would definitely return to try the rest of meat dishes. The rotisserie is a very traditional way to cook the meat and it is very hard to cook the meat to the point. I have eaten many times oily or old meat from rotisserie in Greece. The owner really takes care of how the meat is cooked and presented because as he stated he is a food lover and this restaurant is all about his passion for food. This is the only restaurant in Dubai with rotisserie and chorta.
The lamb came with a big portion of french fries. They were not frozen, but freshly cut and tasted great.
After our meal we were offered complimentary desert, halvas and karidopita. The most important thing regards the food, is that although we ate a lot, we did not feed heavy or bloated, but had a light stomach, indicating that the food was indeed cooked with fresh natural ingredients.
3. Ambiance. The restaurant is in Dubai marina, right on the promenade with beautiful views of the water and a nice area around to walk after our meal. The restaurant itself is nicely decorated in a clean greek style with attention to every little detail.
The price was very decent especially considering the area and the food quality. All in all the restaurant is better that many back home and offers a unique authentic experience. Must try for all greek food lovers.

Quite so the service was personal. Overall the food was great. The spicy dip, tzaziki, and eggplant starter were awesome. The bread alone was soo delicious. A definite repeat
This little gem of a restaurant is close by where we live in the Marina and we have eaten here a number of times – never once being disappointed. The food is incredibly good and the quality of ingredients is always high as the owners are a very proud people – recognising the importance of investing in good food to keep their customers happy.
The cold starters are all good but our favourites are feta and hummus. The meatballs are also delicious, as are the spinach pies and the moussaka bites. To be honest we haven’t had anything that wasn’t good there and the service is great – lovely family run establishments where even the ice cream is made and sourced locally in the authentic Greek way.

Perfect location, beautiful presentation and greek hospitality. If u are a vegetarian and have not yet explored the greek flavors u must try this place. They have plenty of veg options which wont disappoint you. The baked feta we ordered was one of the best i ever had. We ordered a garlic bread which was quite different from the dry ones we ever tasted. I would surely come back again for exploring more options . Their portion size is good so couple of sides would make u full. For a newly opened restaurant this place looks very promising as we happen to meet the owner who took us through the menu explaining the dishes.
A Greek gem in the Dubai Marina, i am so glad this place opened in this area! if you enjoy wonderfully prepared fresh tasty food, a warm service and a relaxing hospitable atmosphere next to one of the most beautiful views in Dubai then this is the place to visit. Thank you guys for an enjoyable experience every time we visit :)
Take it from a greek gal and visit this greek hidden gem. The staff is super friendly. The food super tasty. The ambience too greek. And the view amazing. Hopefully the owners will keep their promise and maintain the same level of service and quality in the future. Greek hospitality at its best!
It's a nice place with beautiful view! Friendly people and good service. Tasty food, prepared quickly. Their trademark is lamp served with many variations. As a Greek, I was pleasantly surprised to get my menu in Greek. The only problem was the lack of sign, since the shop is not visible by road.
Grecian grill is a great addition to marina's diverse array of food.
In comparison to other greek restaurants the food is best described as rich and flavorsome. It's playful in choices. Nothing tastes commercial. Everything tastes home made.

Absolutely delicious food, with all the meals served being fresh and clearly well-prepared. Furthermore the service was astounding with the atmosphere being thoroughly warm and inviting. The restaurant resides on the Marina and overlooks the waterfront to combine exquisite cuisine with beautiful views. Overall I would highly recommend this restaurant to all looking for authentic and traditional Greek cuisine. Definitely going back!
Super great place. I live nearby and visit the place frequently. EVERYBODY there is either Greek or speaks the language. I tried most of the items there and it is super nice. the chef is very skillful, they are willing to do a special dish delivered to my place that i ate in crete a couple of years back that i still donno the name. All what i know is that it is made of sheep meet and wine leaves and it is incredibly tasty. Good luck and keep the good food flowing.

Me and my partner found this beautiful place on a stroll around the marina one evening and looked it up online and we found it was on Groupon for an incredible price and the reviews on here and on Google looked great.
Given the fact that we love Greek food, it was a no brainer and we booked a table for two on Groupon.
We arrived and were greeted so kindly and we felt extremely well looked after throughout, we were shown our table which was on the outer side of the restaurant in front of the beautiful Dubai Marina, they have a killer location!
The traditional Greek salad was very tasty and every single element of it was fresh and colourful, the chicken gyro with fries was lovely and cooked throughout, the fries were the best I've had in Dubai so far and the pitta they provide to the table was beautiful. My partner had the chicken skewers with rice and she said it was also very tasty.
Theservice was also amazing and we will 100% be returning and paying full price next time as we agree you definitely get more than what you pay for in terms of quality and hospitality!
We also love that it is a family run business, we didn't even know this until we looked online again afterwards but we had a strong hunch that this was the case as we got that vibe during our trip there, you can really tell their staff care about their customers and the food they produce! Bravo!

Greek is my favourite cuisine and this one is hands-down THE definitive authority in Greek food in Dubai. It's not just the food, it is the EXPERIENCE - for example, when we asked the chef about ingredients, he chatted to us and showed us the raw ingredients he uses, the host talked to us about the various towns, cities and regions the dishes are from and the food is fresh, fresh, fresh. Poly kala. Very good Greek Restaurant in Dubai marina. We were there for Margarets birthday. The owners liked it that I had worked in Greek Restaurants on Rodos. They offer a good menu we chose from the 3 course special menu. Which is a very good price. I had. The helpful waiters chose for appetizers. Greek salad. Chicken gyro. And Halva.
