So i was invited by family for my surprise bday lunch and trust me Fat Chow location, food and service is exactly what one expects for their best Birthday dine out with Family. On POINT👍🏻 @thepointe
So we ordered a mix of few dishes
Crispy chili beef (5/5) crispy beef strips perfectly coated in mouthwatering chinese sauces and vegetables.
Kung pao chicken (3/5) although served hot in sizzler plate the chicken pieces became hard in few minutes and hard to chew but not to forget the sauce and roasted chashew nuts added a good touch to the dish
Pad si ew noodles (4/5) amazing egg noodles with chicken and vegetables and good amount of serving
Lamb shank (5/5) one of my personal favorite tender beef pieces , bell peppers and the sauce with thai herbs was just irresistible.
Dynamite chicken (5/5) totally loved this one too. Perfectly coated in crispy batter and tender inside the crunchy chicken bites added as a good starter and presented really beautifully.
Each individual was served with chinese steamed rice ball on the side to enjoy their main dish with.

We went for the Friday brunch on valentine's Day, and thoroughly enjoyed the afternoon. The food was too much, but was quite delicious. So if you want to enjoy every dish while spacing the food out, please go at 12.30 sharp. Special mention to the dessert which Teresa (our server) recommended, and that turned out the best dish of the brunch! I would recommend this place especially for it's extremely well behaved and friendly staff, especially Teresa.
Food is great though a little bit costly. Outdoor ambience is cozy. Special thanks to Teresa for the good and very welcoming service.
Service was fantastic, they recommended the menu very well. Scallop Dim Sum and garlic prawns a particular highlight. John was very helpful.
Surprised to see some low ratings. We ate here on Friday evening. Excellent food quality and service from all staff was excellent. Will definitely be going back. Recommend the Beef Sizzler.
15 years in Dubai and this place is one of the fanciest and chic. Great service, great food and an amazing view . A great place to come if you like an upscale place and good Asian food with some amazing cocktails. We like the place and fell in love in the first time. Lovely place to spend your Friday afternoons. The Brunch was amazing. Food and drink choices were fabulous. Special mention about the service ... it was fab!!!!! Special THANK YOU to Theresa & Aye Aye for taking super care of us !!! To top it all off... the ambience & view was great.

Newly open water fronts view facing Atlantis. This Chinese restaurant offers very good deals for brunch on Friday. Unlimited dimsum and other asian dishes. Good value for money and service is quick and attentive. Worth visit.
The ambiance was really nice. There is an upstairs area which serves alcohol, with unique drinks. The food was amazing especially the pecking duck and the sizzling beef. The staff was friendly and helpful.

I must say we came here when the place was v busy. It is management’s fault that they are understaffed BUT still the staff were professional and the food was great. Lovely view and decor. They pulled it off but we could tell they did it hardly. I would go again on a calmer day. And I will order: peking duck , dim sum platter, crispy chilli beef.
Great brunch, friendly staff. No waiting time for your drinks and food. And great lounge music. I would recommend anyone that needs a relaxing brunch to go here.

Staff was nice and food was quickly served, although they were busy. The food was quite expensive, but there was a big event, and then usualy up the prices. But the food was of good taste.

I love this place! The interior give me a vibe of underground hidden restaurant in some Asian country, with Neon lights, a huge dragon and a beautiful open kitchen, where you can see the chefs prepping your food while enjoying a very nice drink. Funny enough, food was 5 star worthy! I tried their Cantonese duck... Ohhhhh yes... I couldn't stop having this and will definitely go for more.

Would highly recommend the food. They must use good quality ingredients and have kitchen staff that understand Asian food as everything we ordered tasted great. I don't think we left anything. I would return just for the food. That said, I would have given 5 stars (here comes the but) but for the service. I'm not saying the staff were poor, on the contrary they all worked really hard, but they were really understaffed. I visited at a slow time so goodness knows how they would cope later in the evening. Good concept regarding licencing though; upstairs is fully licensed for alcoholic beverages and the ground floor which open to the promenade is not. Most restaurants at the Pointe are the same. Good innovation on that score as all patrons can be accommodated.

We had such a good time there, the views are nice, and the restaurant is good. The service was good too. The food came out a little cold (but we were sitting outside) We asked them to warm it up and they did. Very nice place, and very tasty.
