Claypot restaurant is located inside CityMax Hotels which is located at a nice location in BurDubai away from the regular traffic. This place is eponymous to the cuisine it promises to serve. Starting with the papdi chaat followed by kebab platter, kebabs are succulent, melt in your mouth and mildly flavoured, just the way they should be. We tried ajwani macchi tikka (cream dory) and their much touted dahi Kabab. Both are recommended . For the main course, we ordered the subz Biryani as most tend to get it wrong, but we were in for a surprise. The Biryani was pretty good. Finally, bread baskets with dal makhni are what we rounded off the meal with. The food isn't very oily and therefore isn't too heavy on the stomach. Much recommended. Cost for a couple approx AED 250

Went for a college reunion at clay pot and its good, in terms of space and food. The staff is friendly and Gautam was quite helpful.
The menu was quite limited tough, I couldn't get any mushroom dish.

Wow! what an amazing place located at citymax hotel Bur Dubai. A huge vibrant, place serving pure Indian delicacies in such affordable prices. Loved their food taste, variety, staff hospitality and portion size. The best part they are available on Entertainer too so you can avail buy one get one offer on your favorite main course.Had such an amazing time at this place In this chaotic situation enjoying a good dinner really cheered me up. Good to see that they are doing all the efforts for maintaining the hygiene level. So guys give yourself a spice in this situation and take a treat of delicious Indian cuisine served in vibrant surroundings. From pani puri to chaat, murgh tikka to mutton kebabs, curries to biryanis they have it all with such fingerlicking taste. Do check out this place guys for mouthwatering Indian food.

Zafrani Rasmalai

Here I am again at a second North Indian restaurant this month. Like I always say I can never get tired of Indian food specially north Indian. Claypot restaurant is found inside CityMax Hotels which is located at a nice location in BurDubai away from traffic. Keep in mind you need to search for CityMax hotel while you drive on the mainroad and not Claypot. Parking is not an issue as it’s taken care by CityMax Hotel itself.

One of the best places to go for authentic Indian food! I love the flavors at Claypot and the staff is really friendly and helpful. Being Indian, I like the fact that the food is absolutely authentic and healthy (not submerged in loads and loads of oil like other places). I have tried most all of the Indian restaurants around the bur Dubai area, but I still keep only coming back to the Claypot restaurant - their delicious food is always consistently the best, and the service bends over backwards to make your experience truly memorable- (Shiv,Sai,akhil,mahesh,chef Vijendra is awesome!) Try the chicken tikka masala, and mattar paneer. Yummy!!

We want to tell everyone that we thoroughly enjoyed every bite of our meals.
We stayed at Citymax hotels due to some renovation in our flat but we were surprised that they treated us with 5 star service & food even though they are 3 star hotel!
Being Indian and married to a non-Indian, we loved the Thali lunch.There menu changes daily and during Dinner we had the ala carte menu which is very different from the Thali lunch menu.
We thoroughly enjoyed the 10dhs half pint of chilled beer!
We enjoyed the Kadai Paneer, Dal E Claypot, Butter Naan, Dal Paratha, Pahadi Murgh & Malabar Fish Curry!
We also had a great time at the chat counter which the guy makes it on the spot upon ordering!
The bartender Akhil specially curated a cocktail for us which was out of this world, I immediately fell in love with it! My husband on the other hand had his chilled beer.
Highly recommend Claypot to all!
Ask for Chef Rawat should you require something out of the menu and definitely ensure Mahesh & Sai are your waiters to make your time more special.

My family and I went to Claypot to try Thali Lunch and boy was this the best Indian food we have had in a very long time. Akhil & Gopi was serving us and both are extremely professional and friendly.
We assured them that we will be back to enjoy there live ghazal band and mouth watering ala carte menu.

We have booked in for New Years Eve and it is an extremely excellent deals.We had booked in for AED 399 per person for a full fledged authentic Indian buffet with unlimited alcoholic beverages. We were told they will be having a huge celebration and will have a speciality DJ in house.

My family and I visited Claypot last week for Thali lunch and it was a blast of flavors! The refilling service was quick and the staff were very chirpy and friendly.
My mom insisted on trying there alacarte menu so we headed back on Friday night. The restaurant was extremely busy and regardless of how busy it was the staff were smiling and professional at the same time.We had mixed veg platter and murgh Tikka for starters followed by Pahadi murgh, Gosht biryani and kadai paneer. My parents are purely vegetarian and enjoyed every bite of these dishes while my wife and I appreciated the flavors in the non veg items.
What we appreciated the most was Chef Rawat & the lady manager ensuring our time spent was worth it and sure it was. Chef is very knowledgeable as we tried to convince him in sharing Pahadi murgh receipe.

The service was very good!. We had a great time. We started with Dani Puri, Masala Peanut and Beans & Sprout Salad.
