Came here on a friday with my best friend for the brunch and the happy hours after. Literally one of the best services i've ever had in Dubai, the place had a good crowd, chill music that's not too loud, nice food, great views and amazing service. It's another hidden gem in Dubai and i will definitley be back again
Amazing food. Big portions! Menu has enough to choose from for any outing. Chrislene was our hostess and she was super friendly and accommodating! I hope to be back very soon. Good job Sun&
Great casual tapas place. Good size menu, generous servings, pleasant indoor and outdoor setting. Very chilled vibe, Dj playing smooth music.
I loved it! The staff was very friendly and accommodating. I had lamb and my company fish sole. The portions were great and it was great value for money.
Love the food, the place, the music and the location. Such a great experience for everyone especially foreign visitors. A must try. Will definitely go back there during my next trip to Dubai.
I had visited this place with my friends, it was an decent good place.we couldnt sit out as it was too humid,,preferable time should be winter for outdoor chilling,,
The meatball starter was delicious with the chilled beer

It was one of those weekends I felt like having some chilled beers tagging along with my kiddos and pet... that's when this place caught my attention . Located in the lovely palm with this pleasant climate We choose to sit outdoors. Welcomed by the lovely staff , wasn't that crowded though on weekend . Their happy hours were on till 10 pm so choose our beers which was served chilled within 10'mins with some fresh bread and garlic hummous dip and some mixed nuts .The music was pretty not too loud gave us that good time to enjoy the scenic around and engage in a conversation as we sipped our beers . For the main course we had Roasted Mediterranean halloumi pasta and ocean seafood pie. Halloumi pasta was good and the sea food pie was amazing . So in a nutshell a place to go if you are in a chill out mood and have some good beers and food.
Been here 3 - 4 times now as close to home. Pretty good selection of wines but the happy hour 100 AED ones are nasty. Good selection of beer for the happy hour bucket. Menu is pretty wide for tapas but just check what you order- menu does not say there is cheese on the bruschetta but it came with cheese on so we had to send back. Food is tasty and some good options but could be better selection for vegans, and more fish options please. Can be too many dogs and smokers on outside tables at times. Very nice sofas inside. Overall a nice, casual hang out and the best option for good booze prices on the Marina side of the Palm Trunk.
Last month Sun& hosted a Pink Event for ladies. The entire atmosphere turned pink and feminish. Interior was all decorated with a pink theme pink balloons, pink serving glasses, juice & ladies in pink attire. In support of the Breast Cancer awareness month, the event had huge sponsers with generous giveaways & vouchers.
I love coming to relax in Sun&. The food is always fantastic, service is excellent, the atmosphere is so relaxing and the value you get is brilliant. Happy hour is great value and it's one of the rare finds in Dubai where this venue suits all occasions.
Like the interior of this place and ambience! It has an European " spirit". Have tried their Sunset brunch. Small plates of different dishes.. Initially looks scary small for those who are hungry /for men.. But in fact it's quit satisfying. Food is lovely.. Brave combination of ingredients, great taste, beautiful presentation. Lovely set up, well thought out details like cutlery wrap, beautiful dishes. Good European staff. As disadvantages should note: battle with flies and non working AC:(
In April, a friend and I decided to throw a leaving party for one of our dear friends. I had previously visited Sun& and loved the views and the atmosphere and thought this would be an ideal location for farewell drinks on the patio before the summer came.
When first visiting the venue, we asked if we could speak to the manager to discuss the venue as a possible option. William was very polite, friendly and most of helpful! Throughout organising our party, the numbers went up and down but William was very patient and still able to accommodate us on the night in a sectioned off area.
William organised an amazing package for the night which included drinks and food for our guests.
The food is absolutely delicious and was more than enough for the 30+ guests that attended.
We where also served by some lovely staff, Bev and Clare, who were attentive and helpful throughout the night. They also remembered us when we returned the following week to enjoy the happy hour.
Overall, as a group, we loved the venue, the views, the staff, and had nothing but positive comments on the food from all our friends. Great spot for a few sun downers or a chilled brunch with friends. Couldn't recommend more highly
Thanks Sun&
Good location, nice view from the outside seating with decent food and very reasonable. Too many fruit flies around the first table I was sitting at though. Extremely pleasant manager Will and very friendly staff... A must visit for a slightly different experience.
went to Sun& to try the Friday brunch, however we realised that their brunch is a sunset brunch and only starts at 5,so we decided to order from the menu,we ordered the grilled rib eye steak, it was delivered nicely presented (cut ) and with green salad ,olives and parmesan...very Mediterranean.. the taste was new to me and not how i expected the Rib eye to be... however the setting of this place and the view are wonderful and very nice to chilll...
Finally getting settled in Dubai, I took the opportunity this weekend to book a sunset brunch at Sun&. The concept is small bites and unlimited booze, which seemed a good fit for Hubs and I. After all, we’re usually up quite early on the weekends and waiting until 7PM or later to eat is tough for someone like me.
Great place
Loved the churros . Not ur usual ones
Great place for sunsets
Highly recommend it
Great music , (live dj)
...........
Super cool place to chill out ! Casual lounge with amazing palm jumeirah views .. Service is great and the drinks are amazing too !! Definitely worth trying
Chilled out lounge on the West side of the Palm. Free parking is available. The decor is Bali style modern and the bar area inside is of a good size. Ambience is great and the staff are very welcoming.
We booked a table for the Sunset brunch @ 5pm.
We sat on the terrace and it's preferable to book a table as it was busy. The brunch is in the entertainer so we felt we made a great deal. You select 6 items from the brunch menu and the drinks depend on which brunch package you choose.
The food is tapas style and they lay out a big plate of vegetable chips with your drinks. My favorite were the cauliflower croquets and chocolate mousse dessert.
We returned to the lounge a week later for Thursday evening drinks and tapas. They have happy hours and many drink discounts through out the week. I love the DJ as the music is mixed up and not so over bearing that you can't have a conversation.
Great place we will return for sure.
A quiet and nice lounge in the Palm. Lots of parking available. Great to sit outdoors with the artificial lake and a view of the villas. The finger food are great with a limited selection of drinks. Service was slow and the waiter seemed impatient to describe the menu, in spite of telling her that it was our first time. Food was great though.
Food is great and the wine is cheap. Try the sweet potato fries and the pulled beef. Outdoors patio is relaxing with a nice view and next to the water. Parking is easy as well. Their happy hour is a steal and a must try.
The service is a bit slow though, and waiters don't seem to be organized as you have 2/3 waiters asking you the same thing.
Fun in the sun, music , a view and a good bite!
Soaking in the sun in this beautiful weather makes you want to search for good locations to enjoy this perfect weather while munching on some good food. Sun& has a small yet nice terrace to enjoy this weather.
I had a chance to try an array of dishes:
The burrata with a mix of cherry tomatoes, almond crumbs, basil and chive cress, the cheese was fresh, juicy and great to taste. I added some balsamic glaze on top for a better taste.
For mains, we ordered the grilled sardines that come in a set of 3 topped with tomato sauce: it was a light fish option with the right amount of sauce.
Then came the lamb cutlets with beetroot dip, fattoush salad and crispy bread: great combination of the well cooked meat over a bed of fresh salad mixed with the dressing!
Good option on the Palm. There is also a huge indoor area for food and drinks.
First things first – Sun& is a ridiculous name for an establishment – it is incomplete and unfinished and if it’s meant to provoke and add a playful mystery to the place, it doesn’t. I just keep saying Sun & Sand Sports. However, that’s the worst thing I will say about the place in this review. Except that their insistence on using pale yellows and pastel blues means that they come across as a package tour booking company.
Love love love absolutely love this place. As soon as i entered this place i felt like i was in a different country altogether. The staff, interiors, palm views all so lovely. Visited this restaurant on a friday for their sunset brunch. This includes a 6 course meal for 202 aed along with 3 drinks (choice of alcoholic/non alcoholic). We ordered all the possible vegetarian dishes from the menu. Vegetable chips were served complimentary to begin with. Our order-
Corn cheese - 5/5
Chilli olives - 2/5
Artichokes - 3/5
Cauliflower croquette - 4/5
Polento bravas - 5/5
Grilled halloumi with strawberry - 3/5 (higher rating minus the strawberry)
Vodka cocktail - 4/5
Thanks to this evening brunch we did not have any space left for desserts or dinner. Would definitely love to come back to this place for some tapas and sundowners.
I have written below review 2 months ago and actually they improved alot.
The food is very good now.
Must try dishes are all none fried dishes and especially seabass. I am happy to go there couple of times a week for dinner and drinks. Great chilled atmosphere which brings a fresh attitude to Dubai's dressed up and pose culture :)

With the excitement of new places on the palm, maybe my expectations were high...
Decoration and atmosphere is nice. Great music, very chilled outside sitting area and weather being gorgeous is a bonus on this Saturday afternoon.
The staff are very attentive and pleasant but then again while it is empty, it is easy to get a good service.
Menu is very appealing, great choices. Everything you missed as a Mediterranean is there.
However, the food is not as impressive. Generally over salty, very greasy and nothing special.
Haven't tried the barbecue but the 6 dishes we have ordered were all very ordinary and very salty.
I will give another chance next time to order salads and flat bread.
And i would still come at least for drinks cause the place is nice and convenient for a palm resident.
I absolutely love everything about this place. The menu selection makes you want to order everything. The food is absolutely outstanding!! Cooked to perfection, paired with good choice of produce. The quality and freshness of the ingredients is top, the staff are professional, nice and helpful and the venue is perfect. Big space, relaxing ambiance and gorgeous sunset. And to top it all is the bill...we had a massive pot of beautiful mussels, chicken, scallops and 4 drinks for 300aed!!!!
I CANNOT CANNOT emphasis how much I ABSOLUTELY ADORE this little gem on the palm. You can go for lunch or dinner it's amazing.. Like honestly it is. I would recommend trying the lamb dish to share just divine. The staff are all western and super friendly, especially the manager he makes a point to go around the tables to say hello (which is lovely). Make sure you go before the sunset they have a lovely area outside too.
So writing a review after a long while, but that's what visiting this place has made me do!!! Was really looking forward to a place on a Saturday afternoon to chill back have a couple of drinks have a lazy late lunch and catch a nice outdoor ambience....and BOOM this place fit the bill and how!!!
Located right at the start of the palm, this place is tucked away in the palm view West building, while entering your mind may have some thoughts running through, but take my word as soon as you enter you will be blown away. The Interiors have such a fresh look and design it straight away gets your attention... However as I was looking for outdoors we decided to sit outside...the climate was just awesome and we sat down and well got confused with the options of food and drinks they had....went ahead with a couple of cocktails and for starters had the beef carpaccio, flatbread with feta cheeae, sweet potatoe fries, the smoked salmon, the meatballs and the deconstructed cheese cake....the taste of all the dishes was superb!!!!! Even more better was the presentation of the dishes...u just don't feel like spoiling the beautiful presentation they manage to put up!!! We sat back...enjoyed the food and drinks and caught the sunset.....all the above food and total of 6 cocktails...and imagine bill was only 500 for three people!!! Three hours well spent!!! These guys have got me hooked...and I would suggest to go and visit and u will get hooked as well!!! Bottom line...A MUST VISIT!!!
You guys must get Tamanna Wahi aka #anorexichog to visit and write about it in her blog, you will get a lot more people drooling over your food and service!!!
Newly opened with a great view of the marina and good ambiance. A great place for a romantic date or to just catch up over drinks. The food is mainly tapas style and there is quite a variety however none of the dishes I tried were something I would go back for but don't mistake that as bad the food tastes good but just nothing above the ordinary.
They have good deals on alcoholic beverages especially during the daily happy hours and fun music to go along.
I LOVE LOVE this place.. Staff so friendly, food so yum.. And the manger is very attentive to his customers and makes a effort to say hello to everybody.. If you go you MUST MUST have the LAMB dish unbelievable!!!! And also very good value for money.
The ambiance of the place is nice and relax, Mediterranean themed, very casual but nice and classy at the same time.
the service couldn't be better, friendlier and well knowledgeable of their menu and offerings!
the food is tasteful and very well presented hats off to the chef on this one!
I guess i really have no complaints about this place! a really good experience that sometimes is hard to find in Dubai!!
Went to the Sun& for dinner, really liked the ambiance of the place,it's casual but fun. They have fun music and good deals on drinks during the happy hour( a bottle of wine, for example, is only 100 AED) the food is Spanish tapas style. Unfortunately I personally wasn't impressed by the food I've ordered( but may be I've ordered the wrong things) the whole sea bass, which was meant to be shared for 2 people, comes with cabbage(which I found very smelly) and potatoes, really didn't taste good at all. So I wouldn't recommend ordering it. The cheese empanadas were disappointing as well. But my husband really enjoyed his beef and sweet potato fries(they don't have regular fries). The table next to us ordered a seafood paella, and it looked really delicious, so I am gonna try that next time. They are very specific about the entertainer vouchers, so make sure you order two items from the same category( like small, medium or large portions) if you want to get a discount. Overall a good place for dinner or drinks, good for groups, cute decor, they have indoor and outdoor seating. Good service.
This has go to be the best restaurant! Outstanding food, Beautiful view, Friendly Staff. Best time to come here would be def around sunset. I would love to come again!
We walked into the most beautiful restaurant, the decor is outstanding and right up my street. I immediately felt comfortable, to be honest with you I could have quite happily have sat there all afternoon. Tastefully understated is how I would describe it, beautiful bar area. We were shown to our table and presented with both the drinks and food menu. I had read this menu about ten times already but I read it again and ordered what I had decided to order before I had even left the house! The menu is split up into sections, the concept is all about sharing. You order, they bring, you share. Perfect. There are nine sections to the menu, Taste, Graze, Small, Medium, Large (for two), Platters, Salads, Sides and Sweets. Each section of the menu offers a maximum of 9 choices, fabulous I hate huge menu’s.
We wasted no time in ordering the vegetable chips with balsamic and alioli. I don’t what I was expecting to arrive but was blown away with what did, the presentation of this dish is just amazing as was the balsamic reduction accompanying it, best I have tasted in a long time. We also ordered a portion of home-made bread, lovely but a bit on the small side.
For the sharing mains we ordered the beef sirloin, with artichoke, chimichurri and glass gem corn and the crispy skin chicken with caramelized yoghurt and carrots. Both dishes were outstanding, the sirloin of beef was amazing. The crispy skin chicken was moist and very moreish. We don’t normally bother with desserts but fancied a change today and ordered the citrus cheesecake with berries and biscuit. What arrived was a piece of art, I actually felt guilty destroying an amazing deconstructed cheesecake. The photograph’s say it all in my opinion.
