هذا هو المكان الذي سأوصي به للجميع (التعليق الأصلي) Wonderful place for the breakfast . Nice food , great atmosphere with the view on the fountain and golf field. Perfect place for breakfast and lunch . Great service. They have their own pastries. Which are super delicious. That is place I will recommend to everybody

(التعليق الأصلي) It was our first visit to this restaurant. Our waiter was very helpful and accommodating. We were there for small bites. The food was great, service was great.

(التعليق الأصلي) I was not very impressed with this restaurant. In terms of the taste and quality of food. Their salmon carpaccio was too salty. I ordered seabass for my main course and the rice was pretty dry. The only thing that blended well with my palate is their watermelon salad and their madeleines that they serve with tea and other hot beverages. The quality and taste of the food does not justify the price. The only good thing about this place is that it is bright and their white table cloth. Nevertheless, I would not recommend this for tourists as there's really not much too see and do in the golf club, unless you are a member.

(التعليق الأصلي) Best french toast I have ever had in dubai. Must try truffle scramble eggs as well . Service is good and the quality of food is superb. Must take to go the pastries 🥮 there are so good .

The food is definitely good. The baguette was not good and a bit dry but that’s a detail (even if I am French and it’s a French restaurant :) ). The service was attentive and good. The atmosphere is nice and quiet. However the price are a bit high for the food even if it’s good (80$ for a ribeye in France would really be something extraordinary)

(تمت الترجمة بواسطة Google.) جوهرة مخفية بالقرب من أبراج بحيرات جميرا. جو جميل مع فريق عمل ودود. كان الطعام جيدًا ولكن باهظ الثمن بعض الشيء. (التعليق الأصلي) A hidden gem near JLT. Lovely atmosphere with friendly staffs. Food was good but bit pricy.
Baris Sayin
(التعليق الأصلي) Before I went there, looked at the pictures from here and Instagram. Pictures give you better expression than what you experience there. I was there for a breakfast and it was just okay. I thought there is outdoor place where we can enjoy the last days of outdoor but It was closed.

Have been 5 times since opening! Amazing food and service. Beautiful mix of flavors and Chef Izu's visit to our table and recommendations made our first visit even more special.
Usha Ramachandran
I am very disappointed by the service and quality of food. We ordered a plate of prawns for starters. 2 out of 5 of the prawns were uncooked. We mentioned this to the waiter who was attending to our table. He came back to us and said that the restaurant will serve us another plate. But we declined. When we paid our bill, they had charged us for the prawns. Then we asked for the manager and complained to him about this. Our impression of the manager....he was not too bothered about it. He made us feel as if it was our fault that the prawns were uncooked. There was no word of apology and we just left. Being Creek/Emirates members, this is highly disappointing. This is highly unexpected especially given all the good reviews from fellow club members. This will be our first and last visit to Carine!

I love the settings of the place. It's chill and good ambience. Lobster Salad is amazing and Beef Grilled for lunch. I will recommend this place. Will visit soon and sit outside when weather gets better.

Very inconsiderate staff. Wanted to spend lovely anniversary with folks and staff were not helpful at all for even providing a different option for water. Had to get up and leave !

Went there for dinner with some my wife and some friends.

Appetizers;
- Buratta 4/5
- Fried calamari & zucchini 5/5
- Watermelon Salad 2/5
- Truffle Bread 3/5
- Harrisa prawns 3/5

Mains
- Slow cooked rib 3.5/5 (the taste didn't blend well and I felt the sauce just glazed the top part)
- Rib eye 4/5 (in a dish like this it would be great to pair it with a side dish especially at Dh280 side salad)
- Sea breem 3/5

Desserts

- Pistachio ice cream 5/5 would give it a 6 if possible.

Carine is owned and operated by Chef Izu Ani who is behind several eateries in Dubai, including The Lighthouse, La Serre, La Petite Maison, and Izu Brasserie & Bakery. Carine serves up some of the freshest French Mediterranean food in town.
With floor-to-ceiling windows, each table has a large bottle of organic olive oil from Chef Izu’s own farm in Greece. Our starters included their burrata (the best in Dubai) with marinated grilled peppers, rocket leaves, and pesto—loaded with creaminess and done perfectly. And the grilled tiger prawns with apple-harissa relish with a jus that was ideal for dipping the fresh bread.
From the mains, we tucked into the roasted sea bass fillet with tomato sauce and sumac rice which was a great combination. The lamb cutlet was three beautifully cooked lamb cutlets on pita bread with spiced eggplant. We also loved the aromatic truffle rigatoni which was a rich dish.
To end the meal, we indulged in the chocolaty Molten Brownie Marshmallow with Anglaise cream, the passion fruit cheesecake, and the tiramisu; all end-of-a good-meal treats.
What a Jewel...love this place for its setting, menu & the service ..
My Favorites were the burata , grilled chicken ,the sea bass ,potato gratin and the Gncochi....overall had a good experience
Ken_doll_dubaiii
Simply incredible food, honestly they cook with art, the ambiance is so cozy Crowd is decent
You can’t forget their apple pie before you order your dinner 😍
Sonal Tanuj Kundra
My apologies for not clicking the food pictures! I guess we just got carried away with truffle pasta and burrata- oh so yum! The cocktails, the wine! Absolutely on point! Both The desserts are delicious, I am a big fan of tiramisu and this was good however my gooey chocolate fondant with marshmallow creme won more points. I also had their dessert wine which I never tried before & was so good! Tanuj says lamb is super yummy and I say the gnocchi is also no less! So overall experience is Aweosme and defo worth going again, nice classy vibes to this place!

Great venue, didn’t realise the “outdoor” seating was covered and cooled during the summer.

Delicious food, but perhaps some of the items could be considered on the pricey side.

Truffle pizza was delicious and so was the dessert special of the day (see photo) ... stuffed after 3 course meal when you gave this dessert for two :)

Worst “fine dining” experience ever!
I am Unable to tell how disappointed we are.
Ordered cold and hot starters and told the waiter to bring as we eat. There were one cold and 3 hot starters in total and guess what? All arrived within the same minute!
So we tried to eat the hot starters before the cold one!!!
They served bread but they put the bread loafs onto our dishes(no separate bread plate!). Then when I asked for a bread plate the waiter brought big service plates which we had to squeeze onto the already small table! I imagine they don’t have these smaller bread plates that we can find in any ordinary snack.!!!
When i complained about these points to the waiter then to the lady who was welcoming people
and showing them their tables, both apologized and finally the “Manager” came. A Filipino Guy to whom I forgot to get the name.
I explained to him what we experienced. How i told the waiter and how he brought everything in the same time. He said he was sorry bla bla but thats it.
Of course with all this we lost our appetite and wanted to cancel the fish we ordered.
Just to be precise; When i ordered the food i also asked the waiter to wait my request to start cooking the dish(it was Sea Bream). Because I don’t like when they force you to eat at their pace in the restaurants. But when we lost appetite i wanted to cancel the fish order; the “Manager” told me that he cannot cancel the order because the fish was already in the oven!!! where i haven’t yet ordered anything!!!
Really worst service ever. Furthermore the food was really mediocre apart from the grilled harisa prawns!
Waste of time and money (lots of money because the prices are really high) with the bitter taste of a huge disappointment of losing a Friday romantic dinner with your wife.
Yuuuhhh to Carine and their awful staff!!!
Hadi
I have to say this was a great Saturday lunch. We ordered both dishes the steak and the fish and they were very tasty. I have to say that the fish was one of the best I’ve tasted in dubai. The view of the golf course doesn’t hurt as well. Looking. Forward to spending another lunch there again.

Hands down one of the best breakfast spots in Dubai. Very similar to La Serre, but better. The eggs Benedict and the pain perdu are exceptional
DXBFoodie
This was amazing and I'd highly recommend the place.

Ambience

Right on the golf course next to the first tee off, the ambiance is as good as it gets

Starters

Big thumbs up for the selection of breads they offer just as you sit down, that's a touch I won't forget.
We had tuna and beef tartar and burrata, all was super delicious

Mains

We had lobster and beef ragu pasta and both was outstanding so would highly recommend that.

Lastly

We didnt have dessert, so cant comment, but all in all this was a great experience. Thenorice tag is a bit on the high side for what it is, but it was really delicious, so wont be deducting any stars

Been twice and spent a fair amount (5k). Staff clearly do not read online booking requests. To be offered a table big enough for 4 coffees when this restaurant is a sharing concept is ridiculous. I doubt we will return as no one asked or followed up as to our experience. No management interaction after complaining and left to reservation team who moved us to smokey bar area. Food great, shame about management attention.
Benoit
I found it overpriced for the experience. The terrasse is very pleasant but noisy with music a bit too loud for my taste. The starters (tuna carpaccio and salad) were missing a bit of taste. The bread was not fresh and at least not at the level of a french restaurant. Our main courses (lamb) were much better than the starters with very well cooked meat with light sauce.
The service was ok (although our glass of wine came only after a reminder and during the starter).

Just covering Breakfast...

I was really looking forward to Carine given the hype but the breakfast was a big disappointment..... The omlettes were bland and too basic with additional charges for even adding a vegetable, the tartine felt like strawberries on top of a burnt toast and the quantity of orange juice given seemed like a kiddy portion.....The benedict was well done but similar to the one at La Serre...The setting is nice and we may perhaps return to see whether the dinner or lunch experience is better, however the overall experience and feeling left after a breakfast is a long way away from making it one of the go-to breakfast spots in the city even with the stunning location and views.

I like the place, my first time, I felt it’s combination btw la petite maison and Zuma, in terms of food and decor.
Everything was tasty just tiny fine dining portion and overpriced food, but definitely to be visited again
Superwoman
Lovely French restaurant with a view of the golf course. The food and drinks are fantastic. Alas, it's not a well known place, so it doesn't quite have the audience of La Petite Maison in DIFC, but the food is better for me.

Highly recommend.
Les Frenchy De Dubaï Salima
One of the best gastronomic restaurant . Very nice ambiance . Really great staff and Service . Food is really good , I totally recommend Carine to everyone who likes french gastronomy. Thank you to Mr.Ganesh who served us today .
G-Rated
Great spot for breakfast, lunch or dinner! Very nice location especially when the weather is nice and you can sit outdoors. Would definitely recommend the burrata, yellowtail carpaccio, lobster risotto, grilled seabream and rigatoni with beef ragout. Average octopus.

I love this place. Came here on NYE for my best friends birthday. Not only was the food out of this world delish, the staff was amazing and kept the G&T’s coming all night. It was such a beautiful evening — from the ambiance and food to the company, it was a night to remember.

It’s a really nice place for lunch or dinner. The beetroot salad and burrata are yummy and so is the lobster pasta. The service is Super friendly and the ambiance is nice and relaxed for a Saturday lunch. My favourite is the creme brûlée for desert! It’s been a Long time since I’ve had a good one in Dubai and this one nailed it!
Sonali Surgeon
Stunning setting, ambience was on point. Delicious food and cocktails. Great place for a date night!
We had the burrata and a few appetisers, along with some cocktails.
Rebecca Rizkallah
it was a great evening, the food was delicious, warm and very well served. the service was also great, they were asking us overtime whether we were ready for our next meal or not. I highly recommend the place if you are craving good French food.

New favourite restaurant

Food/service are exceptional

Tarte tatin is heavenly

It was packed on a non descript week night (birthday dinner) - you need to book - can see why. Will be back

Nice to have a views of the greens, going all leaps and bounds, as it’s overlooking a portion of a golf course. In the summers coolers are put up and a temporary tent that gives you an outdoor feel sitting indoor. Casual but elite.

Food had an interesting take to the taste as well. Presentation was just straightforward, no glitz or glamour.

Enjoyed the watermelon feta cheese salad however didn’t really notice the almond flakes, which I thought if had an obvious taste would have been more interesting. And especially more if they were roasted burnt.

Yellow tail carpaccio had a good twist with the cranberries along with the dressing and other toppings.

Lamb cutlets were good too especially the touch with toast Pita. And mushroom risotto was a good pick too.

Gnocchi ala Tomate, was not the best I’ve had. Too bland and Gnocchi itself too something was off.

On the sweet side brownie was good a little tad sweet and tiramisu was a regular, didn’t excite me too much.

All in all, a good place that I enjoyed for lunch.

Guy In Dubai
Carine has a fairly laid back atmosphere in French Style. It’s located at the Emirates Golf Club which is a quiet setting and at sunset has nice views.

The food is decent and the Apple pie desert was quite exceptional.

Got the opportunity to review this beautiful restaurant. The service and food were on point. The Quinoa Salad and the Apple Pie stole the show. Great experience.
EatGoSee
Languishing in my 'must go' list for far too long, finally I managed time for dinner at Carine with a friend for a long overdue catch up. It was an evening of achievements to say the least. Carine's reputation is consistently positive in the Dubai food blogging community so expectations were high plus coupled with expectations of French cooking from years of living in Europe (and eating well). Carine is decidedly European and French leaning in menu (literally in French but thankfully English sub-titles). There are no culinary acrobatics here; no flamethrowers searing steaks table-side, no smoke chambers. This is classic cooking, cooked well to a high standard in a tranquil, mature environment. If you want razzmatazz, keep looking elsewhere.

The dining room is spacious, airy and light with a bright white colour palate bleaching the room but retains an elegance without being stuffy and uncomfortable. You could easily bring your partner here for an anniversary, your parents for a treat or a business dinner to entertain clients. I recommend the inside for evening dining: the glowing candles, comfy bench seats and outside city views are charming.

But the food:

SALMON CARPACCIO: minimalist slabs of salmon are presented drenched in the house olive oil. The oily fish enveloped with peppery olive levels out balances for an overall rich dish which explains the relatively smaller portion as too much would be overwhelming. The dish demonstrates calibrated balance by the kitchen.

ONION TART: a crisp pizza-like flatbread layered with a sweet caramelised onions that compete with a distinctive firey black pepper that almost overwhelms the dish save for the warm smoky Spanish paprika flavour that comes slowly forward and compliments the caramelised onions. A cooling creme (unsure what it is, creme fraiche maybe?) tries to mellow the strong pepper flavour but falls short.

SPICED LAMB SADDLE: a modest and simply presented portion of medium-cooked, pink tender lamb saddle with a quenelle of sweet tomato compote on a parsnip puree. I would easily come back to eat this dish again. The "spiced" does not use the fire of the onion tart but, instead, is more autumnal. The meat was perfectly cooked but the portion size means you will want to order side dishes especially for big eaters. The mellow lamb flavour is supported by the familiar signature sweet smooth parsnip puree. Two bits of feedback about this dish: (1) for 185 Dhs this portion size is a little mean and (2) there is only one texture throughout so some (subtle) crunch would be good. Nonetheless a thoroughly enjoyable dish.

POTATO DAUPHINOIS: served in a thin low gratin dish, this is delicious comfort food at its finest with a slight and satisfying crunchy layer on top. If you love that child-like moment of breaking the surface of a baked dish and scraping for the crunchy bits around the side, then I've got a side dish for you. Superb home food elevated to finer dining spared the nonsense fuss of symmetrical stacks which is how dauphinois is too often served (resulting in dry potato, boo). There should be more of this execution style.

WINE: Yes, Carine is licensed! We enjoyed a floral Alsace wine which at below 300 dhs was a much enjoyed guide through all courses standing up to spiced lamb, peppery baked onion tarts and creamy dauphinois.

SERVICE: attentive and at times I seemed a little hurried but not offensively so; we were a slow table catching up and less disciplined at reviewing menus and making choices.

I look forward to returning to Carine in the future and concur with the deserved hype.

Would definitely recommend this place. Located in the midst of the golf course, the place has spectacular view and a great feel. The staff is extrememy courteous and very helpful. We had the lobster salad, beetroot salad with goat cheese, lamb cutlets, roasted seasbass with sumac rice, potato gratin and tiramisu. The food was extremely delicious and the portions were decent too.We had a great time out there.

This was our fourth time at Carine, obviously we like the food a lot. However, we were shocked at the poor service this time. We chose to sit outside taking advantage of lovely dubai February evening. Decent enough welcome, although, as is common in dubai, they tried to give us a crappy table with no view. Fine. The appetizers were great, then we waited 40min and no main courses...I had to get up and walk to the bar to get help. Then a comedy show began with a different waiter coming each few minutes with a dish, then 10 minutes later the other two dishes...a joke for a great place that’s charges top dollar! While I am a big fan of the food, we may never come back due to service...sad.

Have been here 5 times now. Twice with a 8 person group for dinner. Once for breakfast and twice for dinner in a more intimate setting. All the times we sat on the patio. The outdoors with a view of the golf course is unbeatable.

The food is designed to be shared. It arrives when ready, a dish at a time. I love the freshness of the ingredients and the perfect blend of flavours in their dishes.

Our personal favourites from the menu have been: Burratta salad (everytime), lentil salad, quino salad, lobster salad, lobster linguine, pranws with Harrisa, entrecote grille avec padron (sorry it just sound the same in English).

Sevice has been excellent every time. So it or current favourite. It does get full on the patio in the evening so best to book a couple of days in advance.
La Femme Gourmande🐝
A new restaurant with beautiful view and delicious french cuisine. Located on the golf club this place has some elegance. I liked the terrace with the green and revival view and it s simple decor. This location is beautiful for breakfast and lunch. I will recommend the breakfast option. Must try once!

Tasty food and very nice ambiance, especially for breakfast. The food comes in small portions and at a hefty price, but it’s quality.. try it at least once.

Super amazing dishes. The foie gras tasted soooooo good. The combination with egg and bread was awesome. But my best recommendation is their apple pie. It was the best ive ever had in my life.

We went to Carine for breakfast and sat on the terrace, which was all very beautiful and lovely. Ordered scrambled eggs , fruit salad and one juice, now considering there was two of us there and we had ordered one cold dish and one hot dish, guess which one came out first? Yes the scrambled eggs and guess again how long it took for the second dish-to come out ? 30 minutes!! I kid you not 🙄when mentioned to our waiter Andreas that we are not planning to eat separately guess what his answer was? it takes a long time to prepare a bowl of fruit salad!!!! I wanted to tell him well tell your chef MATE to make the fruit salad first before making the eggs but on this occasion I decided to be snubbed by the waiter and just stare at him 🤭instead of wasting my breath on ruining my day!
Meat&potatoes
Very nice breakfast with a beautiful view of the golf course. I highly recommend the avocado tartine and the fruit salad with yoghurt. Will be back to try the dinner soon.
DineOutDubai
After the tremendous success of Izu Brasserie in City Walk, here’s presenting you DineOutDubai’s experience at Carine, yet another venture of Chef Izu that serves some signature French-Mediterranean creations. The restaurant, which is named after his Mrs., is tucked neatly inside the gorgeous Emirates Golf Club so you can expect to be greeted by top class ambiance and splendid interiors. Moreover, the scrumptious feast waiting for you is part of a menu that has been carefully curated by Chef Izu himself. The spacious dining hall is a classy set up and there is an outer terrace too, perfect for enjoying the upcoming weather.
We started off with some Watermelon with Feta Cheese, and the Grilled Harssa Prawns which were perfectly tender and with a hint of perfect spice. The Seafood Risotto was decent, the Beef Ragout was cooked with just the right blend of sauces and spice, whereas the Veal Striploin served as a great treat for all the meat lovers out there, so rich and comforting that you won’t regret ordering it.
Overall, the starters were very well executed and the main course was amazing as well, but for me, it was the desserts that were the highlight of the whole experience. They have a very tempting array of sweet treats and the ones that we tried, i.e. the Molten Brownie was so heavenly that I’ve honestly been craving to go back to have it, the Tiramisu is like no other in all of Dubai, and the Passionfruit Cake is a must try too. All three were completely unique from the other, each absolutely divine and offered in generous portions, hence excellent value for money.
Whether you want to enjoy a lazy family dinner, a romantic date or a group hangout with your best friends, the modern décor, French Charm, hospitality and outstanding food at Carine will keep you coming back to relax and unwind over and over again. It is definitely a welcoming change from the city’s otherwise overwhelming dining atmosphere.
Reservations: 04 417 9885

Cooking With Ralph
Follow me on Instagram @Cookingwithralph

We had dinner at Carine, a French restaurant, a concept by Chef Izu Ani. Carine is located at the Emirates Golf Club at the Emirates Hills. I was so happy that I will be eating French Cuisine, I was feeling like if I was home in Paris. I don’t have to wait anymore to travel to France to eat de la cuisine Francaise (oh sorry, meant French cuisine), I would have loved to write the review in French but yes we are in Dubai and I want to share this exceptional fine dining restaurant with all of you.
Jen Sahi @dxbfooddiaries
Carine is one of those chic yet casual restaurants that’s perfect for just about every occasion. Romantic date night? Check. Breakfast with the girls? Check. Brunch with the in-laws? Check. Evening out with colleagues from head office? Check. No wonder I’ve managed to visit not just once, but on five separate occasions.
Annie
Carine restaurant is beautiful, it is nicely decorated and has lots of light. The service is top notch. The food is good, especially the burrata, the feta salad, and the sea bass. I think the truffle pizza and the salmon carpaccio could be better. We ended our pleasant experience with some delicious dessert!

Located at Emirates Golf Club, it was our first time to try this place out after hearing so much about it. From the moment we entered in, we could know that we’re going to have a great gastronomic experience. The hostess was more than welcoming, and the staff are beyond professional and helpful. We ordered a couple of starters to share and a couple of main dishes. The food is sooo good! Worth a try!

5 for the décor, 5 for the food, 5 for the service. Loved the ambience, and the food was so delicious. every dish was unique with its presentation. The seabass is highly recommended, as well as the ravioli.
And do not forget the desserts, worth the calories!

Would definitely come back soon :)

Had dinner here yesterday evening with a work colleague who I hadn't seen in ages. I had initially chosen another restaurant but my wife ask that I change the venue to Carine as she had heard good things and wanted to get my perspective on the restaurant as well.

I could not be happier about the change in venue.

Great decor with a good view of the golf course. Super-friendly staff (both at the bar and in terms of table service). The food? Delicious.

The waiter starts by cutting sorento lemon in half and squeezing the juice into plate. He then adds generous amounts of some of the best olive oil I have ever tasted. The bread basket the comes around. The focaccia coupled with the sorento lemon juice and olive oil was delightful.

We then ordered two entrees: (i) Crevettes grillees a la sauce harissa (grilled harissa prawns); and (ii) Calamars et courgettes frits (crispy calamari and zuchini). Fantastic dishes. So much so that we ensured that the remaining harissa sauce was soaked up by some more bread and devoured.

For our main we ordered the tomahawk steak with baby potatoes. As succulent a piece of meat as this mouth has ever enjoyed. Honestly, it rivals any other steak I've ever had.

This was all washed down with two bottles of wine. One white at the beginning and one red (after the tomahawk found its way to our table).

For desert we enjoyed a top notch tarte tatin (we only got through half of it as we were way beyond full at that point).

I'll be coming here again for sure and next time I'm bringing the missus with me.

A must-try!

Dinner this evening was at Carine. Ordered the watermelon feta salad, harissa prawn and calamari for starters. Full marks for all the starters in terms of taste. Main course was sea bass (excellent) , steak and lobster linguini for main course. Sadly they were a total let down. In both cases the meat was very hard. Dessert was molten chocolate apple tart. Once again both desserts were too sweet. Super ambience and buzzing place. Service was above average

What an awesome night at Carine!!! loved the ambiance and all the fresh, mouth watering dishes that came to our table one after the other. Highly recommend to try this restaurant out!! Their truffle pie is fabulous so was everything else but as a truffle fan I just had to pick it as the fav dish of the night.

A favorite. The staples on the menu are always well done and the specials (often several on weekends) keep things interesting. We had the King Crab Salad and the pasta with tomato and sliced lamb off the board last night, as well as the baby chicken, veal striploin, foie gras salad, truffle pie, watermelon and feta salad from the menu. All delicious. No room for dessert! Busy evening so service was patchy - they forgot to clear the table before the mains were served and forgot cutlery for one of our party. Servers also need to learn the specials. We chanced in the long list of specials only after we placed our order but were able to make changes. Our server only told us about two options and said that was all they had.
The Travelling Food Girl
Visited 'Carine' just over two weeks ago now and it just baffles me how this place has been open for around 4 months now and I had never heard of it until recently! Being a massive fan of DIFC's LPM, Chef Izu did not disappoint with this newly opened Emirates Golf Club gem.

🏙The ambience / restaurant: We went for lunch on a Friday and it was absolutely buzzing; and before I continue I just have to say that the food was sensational! They have almost an open kitchen, which I am absolutely in love with. You just know your food is going to be fresh when you get it cooked right in front of your eyes. Very much looking forward to the cooler months as they have the most beautiful terrace over looking the golf course, which I can only imagine would be absolutely perfect for a relaxed nibble or drink under the stars. The only criticism I have of the restaurant would probably have to be the service. Don't get me wrong, it was good, I just think they were understaffed so basic things like bread and water took longer then it should have.

🍽The food: With these sharing concept restaurants we tend to go overboard with the food due to a fear of missing something amazing on the menu, with the amount we ordered this time though, the four of us trying 'Carine' felt satisfied, and not overly stuffed, after the lunch. To start, of course, we had to get Izu's famous Burrata. This one was a little different to the one I'm used to from the LPM menu, and I have to say the one at Carine, I feel, has a slight edge to it. I think it's the pesto layered on top of the creamy cheese that really does it for me.In addition to the Burrata, starters consisted of: the beetroot and goats cheese salad (I'm a massive fan of marinated beetroot so this one was a winner, especially with the touch of the honey infused dressing drizzled over the top which honestly made it AMAZING!), the crispy calamari, tuna sashimi (would definitely recommend as a lighter choice on the menu) and the duck and quinoa salad. For the mains we opted to share the baby chicken and the lobster pasta, with sides of the tripled cooked chips (which will not disappoint if you order them) and the creamy gratin potatoes, which hands down is my favourite thing on the menu at both this location and La Petite Maison (I could honestly eat it by the dish-load !!) Nothing bad to say about anything we ordered, however my only regret was not trying their 55 minute cooked steak, so definitely a trip is needed back soon. Lastly, and probably everyones favourite: dessert. We had the cheesecake and the molten brownie marshmallow. The cheesecake was amazing and very similar to the one served at La Serre in La Vida Hotel. The only criticism I have about the molten brownie was that it was a little too runny for my liking (yes of course it was supposed to be molten), having a consistency more like pre-baked runny brownie batter then actual brownies. It definitely tasted amazing though and if you fancy something a bit heavier this dish is definitely a winner.

After all the reviews about this new restaurant from Chef Izu located at the Emirates Golf Club, I decided to go and try it out.
I found the look and feel of this new venue bright and fresh but at the same time boring, the same of the other venue we know.
In regards to the food, we started with Truffle Tart, Panzanella, Tuna Carpaccio, Quinoa Salad with Duck. I found each starter good but the Panzanella is not a Panzanella, sorry.
For main course we ordered, Chicken, Short Ribs and Mussels. Here I found the portions small especially if you compare it to the price on the menu, however, that’s my personal opinion.
Last but not least, we hand up with a Warm Chocolate mousse, Creme brûlée and Fruit Salad. I liked all of them except for the Fruit Salad which was for the majority a mix of red and green apple.
Service was ok, she managed the evening but lacked of confidence. Manager never approached our table.
Overall together with aperitif and 2 bottles of wine, the total bill was not cheap.
Hence to be a new venue with a well know Chef like Chef Izu, I was aspecting more from this new addition. I’ll be back to try the breakfast which again, everyone is talking about it.

This place gets 5 for decor, 5 for portion size, 5 for service and if I could give a 6 on 5 for flavors only then it would do any justice. We went in a group of 8 and ordered way too much but it was just so good so of course nothing went to waste. Some of dishes I remember post my food coma are the harissa prawns, watermelon feta salad, truffle tart, calamari, mushroom risotto, truffle ravioli, lamb chops, short ribs, gnocchi, chocolate mousse, creme brulee, chocolate brownie.. yes a lot. Every dish was unique, presentation was great, and truffle portions were large. Emirates golf club membership gets you a 25% discount. View is beautiful of the golf course. I would go back. So so good.
I Communicate
Nicely lit, simple yet food that SCREAMS freshness which is rare for Dubai. I would easily frequent this place once a week if I didn't live on the other side of town. Actually, with that being said it is definitely worth the drive no matter where you are based. Must try is the Panzanella Goat Cheese salad, scrambled eggs with black truffle shavings... The watermelon and feta is also unique a refreshing.
DOT On Her Way
Breakfast goals here! We enjoyed breakfast last weekend here at Carine. It’s a beautiful place beside the golf course. The cafe inside is chic, stylish and filled with natural light overlooking the greens.
To start off with we had blueberry cuffin, and a strawberry cheesecake smoothie. Both were super delicious and I’d definitely recommend the blueberry beverage if you haven’t tried it before.
The breakfast item which id definitely come back for is the foie gras with fried egg. This is an amazing combination!! Also I am unable to find this dish anywhere else so this is truly a gem!
We also tried their eggs Benedict whih was made perfectly. I’d love to see this presented with some fruits or potatoe wedges.
The fruit salad was mediocre, I believe they should list of the fruits on the menu as my hubby is allergic to apples.
Else, we also ordered a tartine which I thought the toast was a bit too tough.
I enjoyed the menu choices and would come back to try other things! As well this place serves wine which would be lovely on an afternoon or evening out.

Being vegetarian, it was with some hesitation that we stepped into Carine at Emirates Golf Club. Much to our delight, dinner at Carine's was one of the best dining experiences we've had in a long time! Professional and friendly service, amazing choice of delicious vegetarian food and the highlight of the evening was meeting the delightful Chef Izu whose warmth and happy nature is reflected in the scrumptious food. Being vegetarians didnt stop us from trying almost every dish on the menu as the talented Chef and his team are happy to make a veg version - Tarte Flambe as well as Tarte Truffe, Burratta, Quinoa salad, Rigatoni with truffles, potato gratin and watermelon with feta cheese, . And the grand finale - the melt in the mouth apple tart (Tarte Tatin?) And a caramel banana cake. We were a party of four and while we thought we couldn't possibly eat all that food, we had actually wiped our plates clean! Thank you to Adam and his team for giving the place such a friendly vibe, to Chef Izu and his team for the fine dining experience. Couldn't have asked for more!

Absolutely amazing!
Setting: in a secluded restaurant in Emirates hills , but bustling with people. The place is very happening and has a Mediterranean feel.
Everything about the food is wonderful. Full of flavors and every meal after the other exceeds your expectations.
One of the specials was a 55 hour cooked steak. Im a foodie and hands down this was the best meat I’ve had . this was insane! You have to get it if they offer it. Easily enough as a main dish for 3-4 people.

Food recommendations:
The steak special: 5/5 ⭐️ infused with rosemary and other spices. A bit fatty but you can easily remove the excessive fat.
Salade panazelle with chèvre: 4⭐️/5 small portion but really good
Burrata: 4/5⭐️
Shrimp harissa:3.5⭐️/5 a bit chill I and just ok for my liking
Risotto fruit de mers with pistachios: 4/5⭐️ a sweetness to it. The pistachios and the seafood combined are a nice twist.
Molten cake 4⭐️/5 is something else. Don’t miss it .
Cake with dates and caramel and hazelnut icecream 3/5 ⭐️ can easily be skipped .

I must start with a dire warning for all men out there. Carine at The Emirates Golf Club is possibly the worst restaurant in Dubai for a date. Maybe even for relationships as a whole. Once your partner finds out that Chef Izu named the restaurant after his wife, all your efforts will be compared to this, and you will be found wanting. Here I was offering to go Dutch on the bill, and this chap over here just named a restaurant after his wife. Thanks, Izu.

"Carine" located in Emirates Golf Club is a perfect spot to relax and unwind with family and friends while enjoying spread of french Mediterranean inspired dishes. Their Menu is curated by the famous chef Izu Ani.

Fellow foodies, I don’t even know where to start. This place is magnificent in every single way. Carine is named after Chef and Restaurateur Izu Ani’s wife. It is a mediterranean concept that delivers consistently. The food is packed with vibrant flavors and unusual combinations but they work so well. The restaurant is located in the Emirates Golf Club, adding another new top notch dining experience in an area that is quickly filling up on restaurants. The views overlooking the golf course are just spectacular and so is the service (shoutout to Iryna and Elizabeth 😄) but, the main part is
THE FOOD:

Onion Tart: 5/5, The sweetness of the tender caramelized onions complimented the crispiness and saltiness of the dough, which was cooked to perfection.

Quinoa Salad with Glazed Duck Confit: 5/5, It truly hits the spot with a mesmerizing combination of all flavors and textures. It was tangy, acidic, sweet, salty, nutty, soft, firm, tender and the duck melts in your mouth.

Tuna Carpaccio: 5/5, This is most probably the best tuna carpaccio out there. As I said before, the combinations of ingredients are unusual but heavenly. It’s SO VIBRANT.

Watermelon Salad: 5/5, This is what I would eat on a hot spring day spent outdoors in Dubai (let’s be real, summer is way too hot to go outside) by the beach. It’s so refreshing but the feta adds a hint of saltiness and creaminess even though it’s not even close to being a creamy cheese.

Truffle Rigatoni: 5/5, Most of the time truffle pasta with cream loses its "truffliness", but not in this case! There was just enough truffle to peak through the cream, which helped us enjoy the flavors simultaneously.

Lobster Linguini: 5/5, I hate it when you order a lobster risotto or linguini at a restaurant and get a serving the size of your thumb. This is not one of them. The lobster portion served was plentiful. The pasta itself was cooked just a little bit more than "Aldente" which, in my opinion, is the perfect way to cook this beloved carb. The lobster bisque (sauce) was amazing, it made the dish REALLY tasty!

Seafood Risotto: 5/5, The lobster bisque previously mentioned was the sauce used in the making of this delightful dish. It let the texture of the rice and flavor of the seafood shine through while still being discreet.

Sea Bass: 5/5, It was light, a great option if you’re trying to get rid of the lbs/kgs. It was served in a tomato sauce and was accompanied by sumac rice. It truly is mediterranean food at its finest!

Mushroom Risotto: 5/5, It was creamy, airy and let the earthy flavor of the mushrooms burst into your mouth with ease.

Molten Marshmallow Brownie: 5/5, A hot chocolate brownie topped with a charred marshmallow and vanilla ice cream? Yes, please!

Passion Fruit Cheesecake: 5/5, And onto the greatest culinary invention of ALL TIME! It’s so satisfyingly good that it has left me SPEECHLESS.

That concludes my review of Carine. It’s one of the best -new- restaurants in Dubai. I would definitely recommend going there, you won’t regret it.

PS: If there are any spelling mistakes, feel free to let me know.

I'm a big fan of Chef Izu and had the most delicious dinner at carine last week, we couldn't fault the service or the food. We especially loved the freshly baked breads at the start and the creme brûlée is one of the best in town! Definitely worth a visit!

Carine is a brand new french restaurant with an exquisite concept!
The food by Chef Izu Ani is amazing as expected, the service impeccable and the staff is super friendly and positive.
Must try: Carine’s Martini, Seafood Risotto and the Lamb Cutlets!
My visit at Carine Restaurant was one-of-a-kind!
From now, definitely it will be my favorite place in Dubai and always the first choice on my list!

Carine was a hit and miss. There where winners and losers. But above all the quality was very good.

The service was very pleasant as well.

I was looking for that "ah ha"moment that was a new and exiciting in every dish but it never came.

Not to say any of dishes weren't good. They where very solid flavors, but they all played safe and predictable.

The apps and mains where good but for desserts, the only one i liked was most over done..passion fruit cheese cake.

Did it meet my three criterias? Yes it did, quality, flavor and value for your money.

Carine is very good restaurant but its also a boring restaurant. It would make a great neighbourhood restaurant to eat at a couple times a week. But its not.

Last question is; would i go back? There was nothing really to lure me back unfortunately. There was nothing really exicting about food and its in golf course. Maybe il take my grandpa when he visits and we go play golf.

After Le Petite Maison and Izu Brasserie (and loving both experiences), we are at Izu’s latest concept. Located at Emirates Golf Club, Carine Dubai is Chef Izu’s ode to his lovely wife. Not just recipes, but even the decor has been designed keeping his wife in mind. Talk about romantic!

carine.ae is an amazing and much affordable alternative to “the small house” if you know what i mean :)) by @chefizu @emiratesgc
You can enjoy chefs izu’s classics on the amazing terrace (too bad weather is turning now)

There really is not one negative thing I can think of. Spent a Friday lunch with friends at Carine. My first impression was made by the friendly hostess who was welcoming and shuffled our seating arrangements when we requested. The waiters and waitresses are knowledgeable, friendly and efficient. I was concerned that it wouldn’t be child friendly however we had 5 children with us and they were very welcomed; the chef even accommodated us with a simple pasta dish. Now the food: again there is nothing but excellence here. For our table we had a selection of starters, all delicious. For mains we ordered lamb chops, gnocchi, lobster pasta, sea bass and rib eye each were fantastic. Dessert of course, creme brûlée was delicious as to be expected. Great selection of cocktails. Very cozy ambience, will most definitely return.

Chef Izu should require very little introduction. A hot topic on Dubai’s dining scene, Izu gained recognition as the opening head chef of the acclaimed La Petite Maison, before moving onto Emaar Hospitality’s La Serre and segueing into consultancy with the likes of D3’s The Lighthouse and CityWalk’s Izu Brasserie & Bakery.

Par Excel-lance! What a great addition to the the area. Fine dining against a lovely back drop of The Emirates Golf Course. Carine is a fine balance of French and Mediterranean decor and style which includes a bar inside and outside. The terrace area is lovely with light music in the back ground. It all works well from the small French tables to the little Orange Trees - good attention to detail.

Service was excellent from the beginning at the welcome desk to the table and to our waiters (Great job Miguel).

The food is divine. Fresh, clean and prepared to perfection. The highlight though was definitely the home made Focaccia served with specially produced Olive Oil from Chef Izu Ani’s (The Owner) farm in Greece. The Olive oil is served with the option of fresh lemon which gives the combination of oil and balsamic a really nice twist. As the story goes Chef Izu has two loves: His wife who the restaurant is named after and bread.

As a starter we had:

- Beetroot and Goats cheese salad served with pistachios, basil and red onion - the flavors are harmonic!

- Fried Calamari & Zucchini: fried to perfection with the right balance of crunch and flavor served with a light dipping sauce and a few chilli slices.

Main:

- Lobster linguine: Fresh, light and tasty. Mixed with a few olives and fresh tangy tomatoes with a sweet finish. Lovely dish.

We will defiantly be going back to Carine to taste the rest of the dishes. Their menu is focused on fresh flavorsome ingredients that result in great food in a lovely setting!

I am a huge fan Chef Izu and I’ve eaten in some of the best restaurants in Dubai that he he has worked in. Most recently I visited Chef Izu’s venture in City Walk -Izu Brassiere & Bakery and also had the good fortune of meeting the humble and down to earth chef. After I read somewhere that the chef has opened a new restaurant called Carine in Emirates Golf Club, I immediately made a lunch plan and visited the restaurant last Friday.
A To Za'atar
Gang, I’m going to admit something. I went to the former version of Carine, back when it was Le Classique. I feel the statute of limitation is over, but wowzers that was a bad meal. When researching for this post, I went back to my notes and found a nearly 1,000-word e-mail of all the things I would change (and really, I don’t think there was much worth saving). While I’m always sad to see a restaurant fail, in this instance, I think it’s for the best, because now we have Carine, the latest offer from Chef Izu (who you might remember from my visit to Citywalk).
In Search Of Brunch
Dropped in for a Saturday lunch. The interior is typical french- simple yet elegant. We ordered 2 starters & 2 mains to share:
Nicoise Salad- refreshing & delicious, elevated to a higher level by the yuzu in the dressing.
Grilled Harissa Prawns- prawns were so soft, the garlicky spicy oil was addictive, I could have easily eaten 5 plates alone.
Grilled Lamb Cutlets- the texture was super tender, nice flavors & cooked to perfection.
Mussels Saganaki- the only dish that failed to impress. I think that the sauce makes or breaks a mussels pot, & the tomato broth in this version was lacking.
Cheese Cake- light, fresh, best cheesecake in town.
Service was friendly & efficient.
Overall a superb new addition to the Dubai dining scene.
